Ok so I want to make Christmas cookie boxes for all my coworkers this year because a) It’s something I’m good at b) I know they will enjoy it and c) it’s pretty cheap

So Here’s some ideas so far:

Iced Gingerbread (obviously)

Jam thumbprints OR linzer cookies (jam thumbprint is easier, linzer looks prettier)

Chocolate peppermint cookies dipped in white chocolate

Cranberry orange shortbread (my fave!!) OR I could branch out and do a pistachio cranberry white chocolate cookie (but pistachios are expensive/nut allergies so maybe I’ll do that for just my family)

That recipe that @matcha-latte-vibes just posted looks amazing and I definitely want to try it, but I’m worried about nut allergies at work so maybe also just for family?

Possibly some merengues? But I don’t want to overwhelm myself.

TWO of those tiered supply carts (i have 3 but one is in the kitchen #bc it holds my art shit and i work at the table when i paint) anyway FULL OF SHIT #easter bucket with peeps i refuse to throw away bc hey i MIGHT want them! maybe!! #it took me til October to throw away last years Christmas candy im not even joking #next to my bed is my nest (and supply cart) got my bed nest. and my food stash #rn it's: cheerios. corn chips. cookies i really loved last year and cannot stomach this year. bread. and usually cake #unless i ate it already #ANYWAY im tired and i have no energy and im gonna blame it on compounding stress/grief + fibro + cfs and im gonna. #add in passing kidney stones bc well we just dont know if im all done :) #me to anyone who will listen: WANNA SEE MY STONE?!

#got sad because i thought about how lonely i am and then that triggered me to think about [redacted] and that put me in a BAD MOOD- #especially since its christmas eve it was not a good combination #and then i had to go be with my family and not act like i wanted to disappear and so as im battling that every little thing is making me- #upset (because i get very irritable easily especially when in a triggered/anxious state) #i accidentally spilled my drink all over the floor and that just set me off right there #calmed myself down by watching some videos and then i started feeling better enough to go out to the living room to attempt to get- #some cookies (key word ATTEMPT) and as im walking into the kitchen to put my plate away (i finished eating in my room its just tragic reall #i tripped on something glass and it fell over on the floor #....i was SO done after that i put my plate in the sink and slammed my door (not my brightest move im sorry) #and so then my mom talks to me later (when were on our way to church) and shes like 'im not surprised you slammed your door honestly' #and then i started feeling better after i realized she wasn't mad at me at all for this (because im still trying to deal with new triggers) #so anyways then i went to church came home watched white christmas and finished wrapping presents #and now im ready to celebrate christmas #no one cares kristen

I have such big feelings about Baatar and his anger, I feel a lot of his negative emotions present themselves as anger. Sadness, loneliness, physical pain, and anxiety especially all filter through as anger. Stemming from his general feeling of having control of nothing and always being surrounded by people he'd never have a hope of defending himself from or just at the mercy of the world around him in general.

Particularly with his anxiety, which he knows a lot of earthbenders can pick up through his heart rate, so it's an emotion he can't have privately. And of course anxiety at his station is seen as a weakness and an embarrassment, and he has no control over it so he has to walk around knowing that anyone could tap into it at any time which only makes it worse. So of course he's short tempered and projects his anger/authority more severely and is quick to dismiss people so no one has time to notice.
