CASA TIDMOUTH’S MOST NORMAL AND RELIABLE RAILWAY WORKERS: THE STEAM TEAM

Thomas Awdry Billington

Age: 23 Occupation: NWR 1's driver

Very cheeky and even nosy at times. Every time someone he dislikes gets into trouble, his immediate response is to make a joke out of their situation. Except when it’s something absolutely serious, which is rare. He always puts his best in anything he does and will excitedly prove himself to be the best person up for any job offered to him… which sometimes results in him getting into accidents and mishaps. Edward took him under his wing ever since he started working in the railways three years ago, making Thomas look up to him fondly and consider him a father figure.

He holds the Golden Whistle that is connected to the Shining Time world and stores golden dusts. It also helps control the usage of gold dusts during Lady’s time in Sodor so it won’t run out. He also runs a bulletin board called Sodor's Rumors where railway workers can write and submit the latest gossip or news to the board, whether it’s signed or anonymous. Ones about the quarry workers usually interest him because he's a curious little guy. He noticed, however, that rumors about spirits and suspicious people started popping up more and more ever since Lady joined Sodor Railways. There’s something else, though. He can’t help but feel that he might have forgotten someone important.

Trivia:

The shortest out of the Steam Team. Gordon sometimes calls him “little Thomas” because of this. Also because of his bed hair.

Huge fan of Depeche Mode. His favorite album is Violator.

He seems to never run out of energy.

The bottom of his huge ass shoes has retractable rollers. 6 on each sole, complete with side rods. Similar to the wheels of his steam engine!

Likes: adventures, tootsie rolls, playing elaborate pranks, locomotive anatomy Dislikes: people who are jerks for no reason, string beans

Percival “Percy” Avonside

Age: 22 Occupation: NWR 6's driver

Thomas’ partner in gold dust hunting. He’s also his best friend even though they have their moments of disagreement. He holds the polaroid camera that can capture pictures of golden dusts and sparkling trails that are invincible to normal eyes in an area. His mail delivery is also part of Sodor’s Postal Service. Being a generally good-natured and obedient person, people who don’t know any better like to mistake his positive traits as naivety.

With his history of being treated as a doormat or stepping stone, whenever he felt like someone is being close to him just to use him for their personal gain, his perception of them can change quickly from trusting and loving to skeptical and critical. Even though he’s a generally polite and well-mannered young man to (almost) everyone, there are several moments where he snaps and just outright calls out said person who wronged or made fun of him. All of these factors result in his actions usually following what he believes can be beneficial to him and is the best for his well-being. Is he really the sweet, pouty, often snarky Percy that everyone knows and recognizes on the surface? Whatever the answer is, does it really matter as long as he’s useful?

Trivia:

Back in high school, he was an ace pitcher for his school team called the Sodor Sobriquets.

His magical polaroid camera works without using any films. He got it inside the wishing well when he accidentally fell inside it during his first day at work.

He gets easily annoyed at people who constantly coddle him.

He collects comic books and magazines as a hobby.

Likes: watching soccer and baseball matches, eggs Benedict Dislikes: being called “Dirty Percy”, not being taken seriously, apricots

Edward Pettigrew

Age: 46 Occupation: NWR 2's driver

The old reliable! He’s a generally kind and patient person. He rarely ever takes insults or jokes to heart and just patiently waits for misfortune to befall whoever mocks him. Even enjoys it more whenever he gets to be the one dragging their sorry ass out of trouble. However, those who have known him for a long time know not to mess with him. Despite not submitting things to the Sodor’s Rumours Bulletin Board, he likes to smile and nod while reading the railway workers’ quips and notes. When he was younger, he was bold and brash and can never bow down to authority figures. He was also quite a charmer back in the day, something that his two closest coworkers always tease to him.

Even though he’s now a sagely man with a lot of life experiences, he seems to hide a lot of things and know matters someone like him shouldn’t have…? No need to think much about it, though! Probably nothing important, just wise Edward being wise Edward.

Trivia:

He’s great at ballroom dancing and skateboarding.

He used to get into street fights as a young man.

That long scarf is a gift from Henry back when they were younger.

Something about the smiles he gives whenever he’s made fun of by his friends don’t seem pleasant. Feels quite unnerving, even. What is up with that? Oh well.

Likes: old songs, folk tales, black tea Dislikes: what does he even dislike?

Henry Stanier

Age: 42 Occupation: NWR 3's driver

Used to frown and complain about tough work a lot. He was incredibly protective of his engine and got upset at seeing any stain or dent on it. He’s also extremely worried that heavy workload can put a strain on or even damage it. A long time ago, he hid himself and NWR 3 inside a tunnel to shield from the rain. This and that happened, his engine gets bricked when he went to work the next day, he attended a church sermon for the first and only time to find inner peace, and after he learned his lesson his engine is finally free (to help out Gordon)... but the wildness of his story doesn’t simply end there!

After his first Flying Kipper delivery went horrifyingly wrong and he died in the accident, he got to meet Lady in the Shining Time world who eventually revived him. Since that event, his view on life has never been so offputtingly bright and positive. He lives life cheerfully and is now a much kinder and friendlier person, even though he has his moments of snarkiness (though it’s usually out of saying the truth bluntly instead of being mean). With that amount of epiphanies and one divine intervention, the comparison between his past self and current self can be quite jarring.

Trivia:

He is narcoleptic.

After Lady disguised herself as a regular railway worker and met Henry for the second time, Henry thought that his time is finally up. This is not the case however, which resulted in both of them laughing hysterically after Lady talked with him.

Every time someone mentions “beauty” and “life” in the same sentence within his earshot, he’ll go into an enlightened ramble with a bright, cordial expression.

When he’s stuck in a situation with seemingly no way out, he’ll start writing his will in his cellphone. If there’s moss, he’ll start eating that.

He doesn't remember anything from his childhood before he was adopted by two rich as hell parents. He doesn't have a birth certificate and nobody really knows where he comes from. Either these facts or his encounter with Lady is the reason why his view on life is quite… unique, to say at least.

Likes: nature, apple slices, Desi dishes, shitty reality TV shows Dislikes: people who are annoying, people who don’t do their jobs properly, people who are noisy, people who are just downright pathetic

Gordon Gresley

Age: 41 Occupation: NWR 4's driver

Prideful and can be rude at times. He’s very ambitious and takes his occupation as the driver of the greatest and most beloved express train in all of Sodor seriously. Because of his upbringing, he used to look down on those that he deems weak or is contributing less and less to the railways. He’s also quite competitive and always pushes himself to his limits in order to live up to his (and - when the situation calls for it - his engine’s) reputation and restore any remaining glory of the Gresley name.

A lot of people view the Gresley lineage as suspicious or even cursed because of how easily its members die out under unnatural circumstances (illness, accidents, etc.). The formerly large and respected nuclear family of nine is now reduced to just him, Scott, and his mother. The subject is frequently brought up during Scott’s interviews and reporters who recognize Gordon always try to pry information out of him (the main reason why he moved to Sodor). Even though he loves and lives off attention, the ones that are given by reporters and journalists are always met with scowls and exasperated “go away”s from him.

Despite scoffing at the idea of the Sodor’s Rumours Bulletin Board and thinking that it’s a silly idea, he submits rants whenever his brother finished calling him on the phone. He sometimes gets embarrassed in showing affection or appreciation which made people who don’t know him well assume that he’s distant and unappreciative.

Trivia:

The youngest Gresley. His middle name is Juniperus.

Despite not liking his mother very much, he still maintains a decent (???) relationship with Scott and his cousins just so she would stop getting worried and pestering him.

Even though he has a high image of himself, he gets easily thrown off guard whenever faced with a crowd or confronted directly.

He, Henry, and Edward used to be an incredibly tight-knit trio when they were younger. However, as the years passed, he felt like the three of them don’t have that much in common anymore (Henry slowly turned into someone quieter and more passive, Edward became more calm and less brash). They’re all still… friends, but sometimes Gordon can’t help but feel like things really aren’t the same between them as they used to.

When he smiles, it changes his entire face :]

Likes: orange-scented things, emotional movies Dislikes: being compared to the rest of his family, talking about his late brothers and sisters, admitting his weaknesses

James Augustine Hughes

Age: 35 Occupation: NWR 5's driver

An incredibly pompous person, James thinks highly of himself. VERRRY highly. His entire design and personality just screams “Look at me. Look at how handsome and fabulous I am and praise me!”. He absolutely hates it when he sees other people getting praised or complimented for the things that he has (people who fully dress in reds and golds or wear aviators just like him and get complimented for those). Sometimes he reads complaints and worries submitted by others in the Sodor’s Rumours Bulletin Board to make him feel better about himself.

Due to the events of his childhood and teenage years, he has a habit of wanting to get into popular cliques or feared friend groups, a juxtaposition of his arrogant and self-centered personality. He looks up to people who are respected or even worshiped by their peers and even tries to be just like them. There are certain kinds of people that he believes is worthy of his respect, but he is starting to get more and more unsure of who exactly they are ever since he became proper friends with Thomas and Percy.

Trivia:

When he was in high school, he wanted to become a psychologist. He gave up on pursuing it after he got into a nasty fight with a teacher and got a mean scolding from the principal and his parents. He was also a bit quiet back then.

If he gets ignored a little too much, he starts to panic.

He’s good at reading others and quick to notice change.

He looks up to Gordon and respects him greatly, even going so far as to be just like him for his approval. Though as the story progresses, things really aren’t looking bright for this statement.

He’s fluent in Spanish and French.

Likes: being praised, being wanted, sweet margaritas Dislikes: things that are ugly, pulling trucks, his old self, losing support from the group(s) he’s in

Tobias “Toby” Holden

Age: 56 Occupation: NWR 7's driver

Despite his age and his engine being considered one of the slowest in the railways, he works hard and diligently. He also has a good sense of humor and lends a good ear to anyone with interesting stories and tales. Even though he's a knowledgeable and wise driver that knows how to handle problems slowly, he can be temperamental at times and frowns at the sight of people with unchecked egos and self-righteousness. Due to experiences in the past that also got Henrietta involved, he actually distrusts youth who think they know all and act all mighty because of their new technology, engines, and even actions that have potential to harm others when used carelessly.

At day, Tobias Holden is NWR 7's driver. At night, he reads records and books about Sodor's history with anomalies and significant cultural differences compared to Mainland's. Not originally from Sodor, he is aware of the island's cultural and environmental quirkiness and can't handle the thought of his wife being involved with those sorts of things. Even though he avoids confrontations, he'll do anything to get rid of anything that threatens the harmony of his life - and to an extent - the railways. He’ll make sure ghosts and spirit don’t exist. He’ll make sure the cases of people disappearing and other ones appearing out of nowhere don’t struck him and the people he cares about. There's an itch at the back of his mind that says that a certain driver for the NWR 2 and a lady dressed in magenta aren't really as simple as they look on the surface, and he's not going to keep quiet about it… eventually.

Trivia:

Rumours had it that he once got arrested in his youth because he body-slammed a cop.

He wishes to live a quiet life someday. There must be no other place as pretty as this island.

He likes hearing Thomas' jokes.

He doesn't like the idea of being separated from Henrietta. He'll do anything for her. Anything.

Likes: tiramisu, slow dancing, seeing pompous young people getting into trouble, his wife <3 Dislikes: people in power.

⠀★ THE TRICKSTER 'FAMOUS' OFFICIAL MV

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀famous is hak jiwoon's debut japanese ep, released alongside the music video for the leading single & title track of the same name. a song centred around the trickster's rise to fame. this entire music video, as well as the translation of the song, eludes to the death of the saesang fan that got too close — which goes without saying that he had used their vocals for the track. the music video opens up with jiwoon tied up in a warehouse, having been tied up like his victim, laid completely bare and defenseless before the viewer.

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀the next shot cuts to jiwoon holding a diamond while singing the lyrics 'shall i turn everything i touch into diamonds, those eyes gazing at me, shall give you a pearl' a sick nod to the way jiwoon had gouged out their eyes, replacing them with his diamond cufflinks

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀there was also the heavy use of religious themes, as well as greek mythology, to further jiwoon as some sort of DEITY to the viewer. this perfectly entwines with how jiwoon had written I HAVE SEEN GOD on the saesang's chest in their own blood. the red thread that jiwoon performs with throughout the song represents the thread of life, and how he is the one that holds this person's life in his hands, threatening to break it at any point — to which he does towards the end of the video, signifying the victim's death. one move in the choreo depicts jiwoon as jesus, nailed to the cross. and lastly, the usage of half eaten apples — the fan is seen as eve, while jiwoon the forbidden fruit. the temptation of him was too strong, even to the point of SERIAL STALKING and trying to get to close to what the trickster truly was.

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀throughout the chorus, jiwoon tells you EXACTLY who he is. he has never tried to shy away from the darker side of his character, but he plays the victim so well that nobody believes he's truly the one pulling the strings. the chorus chants the lines 'FAMOUS ( i'm so fabulous ) FAMOUS ( i'm so dangerous ) a voice calling for me and a delight of ecstasy'

⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀one of the final shots of the music video depicts jiwoon walking away from a smoke filled room, before cutting to a pile of mannequins burning in a heap — which could only be acknowledgment towards the fire that claimed no spin's life, and that's exactly what it is. no spin was jiwoon's first victims, the ones he holds closest and dearest to him, but they are also the one's that led way for THE TRICKSTER. jiwoon has his fame all thanks to them, and while a morbid and macabre way to remember them, jiwoon couldn't possibly be more thankful for their sacrifice.

Gokurakugai Chapter 10

Welp, Alma's recovered from his concerning case of arm-ripped-off-osis, but is still reeling from his loss of Kanata.

He's still completely miserable after killing somebody he cared about, but Tao is trying to maintain his resolve as somebody who hunts Maga.

In the meantime, Tatsuomi uncovered the CCTV footage from this brawl, showing some proper footage of our big bastard Yomi.

Alma's resolved to hunt down Yomi, while Tao and Tatsuomi start chasing down leads, Nei is off hunting mooks, and Yoki decides to get another teacher for Alma, to give him a decent power boost, and maybe a chance for some independent combat!

And this teacher.

After about a month of working on these, I finally give to you the completed refs for the (current) characters in my Squid Ink Spaghetti AU!

Here are some tidbits of info/bios on each of them... under the cut because it’s gonna be long lol

RED: Red is a former Octarian soldier currently residing in the Splatlands. To onlookers, he appears to be a sort of mysterious loner type that’s seldom seen in battle lobbies. But to the few who know him, he’s a very kind and friendly person. While open to the idea of trying new weapons, his go-to is the Splattershot Jr.

MIKE AND STEVEN: Two Inkling brothers who are rarely seen apart, with Mike being the older and Steven the younger. Steven is a very competitive Anarchy player, making it to the top of the ranks in record time with his Hydra Splatling he lovingly named Miki. While he seems cold and reserved on the outside, mostly due to the shadows that cover his eyes and stoic expression, he’s actually pretty chill, although a little nervous sometimes. Mike on the other hand is a very happy-go-lucky kind of guy; always in high spirits and ready to lend a hand. While not competitive like his brother, he dabbles in a bit of Ranked with Steven sometimes, but he mostly plays Turf War on his own, sporting his trusty Splat Dualies. He would go to the ends of the Earth for his little brother without hesitation and would absolutely bash some Inklings’s nonexistent skulls in if they even dare to say something bad about him.

BLAKE AND GOLD: Blake was a former Octarian soldier before being a victim of the Sanitization process, thankfully escaping in the middle of it, resulting in the right half of his upper body and the lower of his left being Sanitized. Now that he’s in Splatsville, he’s usually seen with a very chipper attitude as long as he’s with his friends. Gold, however, is a strange case. Being another victim of Sanitization, his memories and emotions were taken from him, but not his free will, which left him wandering around the Deep Sea Metro aimlessly until he met Blake, at which the two devised a plan to escape together. He relies mostly on instinct for decisions, and doesn’t talk too much unless prompted.

SILVER: Another former Octarian soldier and friend-turned-lover to Blake. He may not be able to speak, instead using sign language as his main form of communication, but he’s still very outgoing nonetheless. On occasion, he plays Anarchy, preferring to play with a small group of friends due to his lack of communication ability.

GREY: A young Inkling with a very unique genetic condition that leaves him unable to produce the chemicals needed to change his ink color, leaving it the same color as his name. Since playing Turf would prove to be more of a hassle for him, he instead makes ends meet by working shifts at Grizzco. One such shift led to him accidentally taking home a young Goldie Smallfry that snuck into his bag, which he decided to take in and name Shinto. When not at work, he prefers to spend his time playing TableTurf with friends. HYPNO: A cuttlefish Inking with a somewhat serious demeanor. Being rather old for an Inkling, he’s grown out of Turf Wars and instead spends his days doing his own thing. He may seem like a grumpy old man, but he’s very kind and understanding, given that you don’t prove to be an annoyance that is. He gathers at a local cafe to play TableTurf with some acquaintances, and is open to teaching younger folk how to play as well.

And now for the complicated relationship tree:

- Red, Blake, and Silver all know each other from the Octarian Army. Red acted as their mentor. - Blake and Gold live with Red in his home in Splatsville since they don’t exactly have anywhere else to go. - As stated previously, Blake and Silver are boyfriends (they start dating sometime after they reunite in Splatsville). - Red knows Steven personally, and they see each other as friendly rivals. - Mike and Steven are neighbors with Grey. Mike and Grey play TableTurf together sometimes, and he and Steven will babysit Shinto when Grey has to go to work. Shinto likes the both of them. - On the occasion Mike and Steven aren’t available, Grey asks Hypno to take care of the Smallfry, being only a few doors down from the youngster. He also plays TableTurf with him and even gives him a few lessons and tips. - Grey knows Neo Agent 3 (going by their official name of Veronika) and they’ll bring over their own Smallfry for “playdates” with Shinto.

Intermission 2! The crew is at the Awakening Woods now!

-Alph and Olimar go into a cave to try to find purple and white candy pop buds, Charlie and Brittany are surveying the area with the Hocotate ship giving them a tour, and Louie is trying to figure out a nice thing he can do for Olimar as a way of saying thanks.

-These three events happen at the same time, progressing with asks to each character. Story wise, a bit more development to Charlie's conflict. Rigol grieves over Vio much to other pikmins confusion and with the help of Astur, they end up discovering a ancient mural. Louie finds a secret garden where the Snagret Hole is (thanks to Blue!), and O and A are unsuccessful finding any candy pop buds (odd…)

Event 3: Part 1

-the next day, the crew wake up to find the Drake landed back on the Awakening Woods. The ship alerts the crew that Louie has gone off early, but left some wildflowers on the table for some odd reason.

(The small batch of flowers include: periwinkle, clover, lavender, dandelion flowers, etc.)

-Olimar is led by a blue pikmin (Blue, the reincarnation of Ne, holder of the strange flower) to the secret garden where Louie is.

-The koppaites, not worried at all, decide to just take the day to explore the area some more.

-The Hoco Ship stays behind, claiming he’s not feeling like himself, which the crew is semi confused about, but just brushes it off simply thinking it's just Rusty being…rusty.

- before this however, the asks were bound to have people telling Alph to smell one of the flowers, insisting he must even if he is allergic (lol). Alph reluctantly agrees and smells a lavender. A very dramatic pause later, he comedically sneezes and begins to question the askers before being hit with a memory.

-A memory of Alph with D(ead) by his side as they watch over his body in a white room. Then another memory (from A’s perspective) where Character D(?) is reaching towards him, telling him to smell the flower. (The Landing Event from the beginning!)

-Alph snaps back to reality by Charlie, who right behind him is D. Watching. Looming.

-He blinks and D is gone.

-Charlie asks again if Alph is alright. Alph responds that he is fine, and the two head out along with Brit outside.

((Again, two events occur at the same time before coming together so I’ll go over them one at a time!))

-Alph tells Brit he would like to speak with Charlie alone, so she reluctantly agrees and feins recalling a fruit she forgot to retrieve.

- C and A walk around the woods, stopping to battle a few fiery blowhogs. Charlie would have been happily answering a few asks before Alph gains the courage to ask about D.

-Alph begins to question Charlie about who D is (along with asks pushing questions too), C finally breaks and yells that he has no idea if D was even real or not. We learn that he believes he just…imagined them during his lonely solo missions.

-Alph is left dejected, C puts a hand on his shoulder and tells him to not bring up D again.

-But then C spots someone behind Alph

-the tall, bleeding transparent figure of D.

-C stumbles back in shock, Alph asks if Charlie is alright. C bumps into a red pikmin(Astur) carrying a bomb rock, causing the pik to stumble, nearly dropping the bomb but manages to not drop it.

- But Astur ends up right inline of a blow hogs fire

-C and A look in horror as the bomb detonates.

-Olimar is worried as he is led by several pikmin (including Blue and a rock Pikmin, Magnolia) to the Snagret Hole. The little group begin to travel past the cave deeper into the log. Olimar is astonished to find a full garden inside.

-The garden would’ve looked similar to a rest area, but with a variety of flowers, big and small. A tiny pond with a small river would be in the center, lined with rocks also varying in size. Spectralids and flutterbies are seen fluttering around.

-Olimar is amazed, marveling at how such a cave exists while the outdoors is getting cold. (Awakening woods here would have been fall themed to match the games changing its season every game. Pik 1 was summer, Pik 2 was spring.)

-He is startled by Louie suddenly appearing by his side. O learns that L sent the Blue to lead him to the garden. So they chill here for a while, Oli doodling and taking notes while talking with Lou and answering asks.

- Lou asks if Oli is ok after…well…everything. O has certainly been through…a lot. Bad luck seems to follow this poor guy wherever he goes.

-Olimar tells Lou not to worry about him, O claims he’s gotten quite used to the troubles the Pikmin planet throws at him, which makes moments like these all the more special.

-The two sit in silence, being present in the moment.

-Lou slightly shifts closer to Oli, his hand inching closer to his hand

-Oli notices Lou shifting around, and asks if he has anything to tell him. Lou is noticeably very very nervous, slightly stammering as he reaches behind himself about to pull something out before…

-BOOM!

-The two hear an explosion in the distance. Oli gets up to investigate the outside, Louie is visibly (slightly comedicly) frustrated at the interruption. The Hoco Ship comms the two alerting that 1, Charlie is down and 2…THE FOREST IS ON FIRE!

Event 3: Part 2

-Alph wakes up with a very heavy weight ontop of him. (It’s Charlie, milliseconds before the bomb blew, he shielded Alph and promptly got knocked out from the explosion.)

-A manages to push C off and is left momentarily dazed, wondering what just happened. Brit runs to his side, having heard the loud explosion.

-The explosion caused the surrounding area to set on fire. Brit comms the Ship to teleport Charlie back to the Drake, but her koppad isn’t working (neither is Alph’s…weird)

-So A+B use the few pikmin they have left to carry C back to the ship as the fire continues spreading…

-meanwhile, Olimar commands Louie to collect wayward pikmin(not in the fire) and bring them back to their onion. O goes to the Drake to bring out some reds but notices a gathering of pikmin around the onion. Confused, he attempts to whistle them over.

-Ontop of the Onion is a yellow pikmin(Rigol) seemingly speaking to the crowd. They and a majority of pikmin(notably blues, yellows, and winged) look to Olimar with blank eyes. These pikmin return inside the onion. A majority of Rock and Red pikmin listen to Olimar’s whistle, with only a few handful of blue, yellow, and winged following.

-The onion then proceeds to fly up into the air, and split in half!

-The first onion lands back on the ground(Red and Gray, we’ll refer to this one as…the onion), while the other onion flies to the direction of the fire(blue,yellow,pink, we’ll call this one the Tri onion)

-Olimar is left stunned

-The HOCOSHIP exits from the Drake, telling Oli she’s lost track of ABC’s signals in the fire. Olimar regains focus, and takes a small squad of red pikmin into the inferno. The Ship refuses to let him go into the flames(too dangerous, it's not worth the risk, etc) but Olimar goes in anyway.

-JUST as Oli goes into the fire, the Koppaites return to the base. Rusty’s about to express their relief but Brit interrupts, annoyed that he didn’t receive their distress signals. The ship immediately defends herself, saying he didn’t even receive ANY notifications.

-Louie arrives at the base, having retrieved several wayward Pikmin. He asks where Olimar is.

-A and B are left shocked as The Ship remembers.

-“Wait. If you three are here, and Louie is here as well…Olimar-Olimar went into the fire to look for…”

-A comedic pause between the crew, before Louie bolts directly into the flames

-The ship commands A and B to prepare for liftoff while he retrieves O and L

-Alph protests, wanting to help but Brit says something like uh, “dude we just got OUT of the fire. Let’s not go back there.” (I’m great at dialogue I know /sarc)

-A then asks, “but… what about the fire?” B hesitates before saying “well, there’s not much we can do about it…nature will naturally ease the flames.” Then adds, “who knows, maybe it’ll be good for the forest.”

-Alph agrees, and A and B both return inside the Drake

-We cut to Olimar calling for the Koppaites but to no avail. He hears a Pikmin cry nearby. He discovers a lone red pikmin cowering in a hole, a wound on their forehead. (Later, they are known as Clover)

-He gently helps them out of the hole and calms the little pikmin in his arms. The red pikmin in his squad appear to be pleased with their captain.

-The HOCOSHIP is flying above the forest fire, trying to detect his crew mates through the flames. They spot the Tri Onion from far away, dunking itself in a lake. Rusty is puzzled by that, but focuses back on her mission.

- Rusty finally manages to contact Oli, pinpointing his location and briefly comms Oli to yell at him. (“You idiot! Why would you do such a selfless, reckless act?! Now Louie is looking for you too!”)

-Olimar immediately began to focus on finding Louie, the ship following him from above the forest.

-We cut to Louie, who’s also looking for Oli. L is coughing and holding his chest. The smoke from the forest fire seems to be affecting him to a much greater extent than the others. (Must be a bug in his oxygen filter…)

-he then spots something glowing red in the distance. L begins to walk towards it, thinking it’s Olimar

- But as he gets closer, Louie freezes.

-It’s the Smoky Progg.

-Louie runs the opposite way, trying to get away but ends up collapsing. His coughing is getting worse, and his nose appears to be bleeding. The Progg slowly approaches L.

- Louie is terrified, thinking that this was the end…

-*CRACK*

-They both look up. A large tree branch is falling.

- The branch lands between the two, creating a wall between them.

-The Progg turns away, disappearing in the flames

-L is left frozen, wide eyed.

- He hears Oli calling for him, and spots his red antenna light. They both reunite, Olimar expressing his relief while lightly scolding Louie.

-Then Oli whistles behind Lou, red pikmin begin to climb down the tree the branch fell out of. It’s revealed O was the one to save L!

-The ship comes down to teleport the two(and the squad of reds!) into his cargo, and flies back to Drake.

-We see the Tri onion hovering above the forest, spreading a light water mist that slowly dispels the flames.

#floral au #story2 #so many questions and yet so few answered…storywise I mean XD #You can imagine how beautiful the garden scene wouldve been but MAN it would be a doozy to create along with the forest fire 😭#HOOOO boy this part of the story has been in my head for years! I’m finally glad to share the plans with you guys #maybe one day I’ll draw a couple of these moments…maybe one day…#hope you enjoy!
