3. YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN

(Dear reader to get a continual understanding, please read posts 1 and 2 of "Ye Must Be Born Again").

Our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST chose HIS words in John 3v3 "Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of GOD." And in John 3v5, HE says "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

To the glory of GOD my poor knowledge and training in English and Teaching may seem to be in play in this post, please forgive me. I am not being pedantic or outlandish. We need to fully understand the words of CHRIST to key into HIS message of Regeneration.

Let us look at the words used and their meanings.

1. VERILY, VERILY= surely, truly, of a truth, let it be your own, this is sure, is true, I AM telling you truly, so be it, I confirm and establish the pillars of,

it is certain, so believe in it

stand firm in it, I want you to trust ME, I want it to be permanent with you, to have the assurance, believe, Let it be of long and continuous. (Remember HE mentioned VERILY twice; and Divine Wisdom don't speak purposeless).

2. I SAY UNTO THEE =I, JESUS, the SON of GOD, in the bosom of the FATHER that knows what the FATHER knows and desires in HIS eternal plan and purpose, NOT prophet-servants like Adam up to John the Baptist, I AM the ONE you Nicodemus came to at night to be enlightened in the things of GOD, WHOSE doctrines you profess to teach people. I.AM teaching you, advising you, exhorting you, commanding you, the true position of the things of that GOD.

3ai.) EXCEPT= if not, unless,

3aii.) A MAN = a certain one, any man/woman/person/man-child/any person (see Rev 20v15).

any person, any kind of man, any man at all, every man, one man, some man, somebody, (meaning from Kings, Presidents to the least citizen, GOs to the least worshippers, idol worshippers and atheists).

3aiii.) BE BORN = by men who fathered chíldren/Of women giving birth to children/of one who brings others over to his way of life, to convert someone;

like GOD making CHRIST HIS SON; like GOD making men HIS sons through faith in CHRIST's work through through regeneration.

3aiv.) AGAIN = from above, from heaven or God, from the beginning, from the very first before Adam fell, anew, all over again

3b.) EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN OF THE SPIRIT= born with the personality and character of the HOLY SPIRIT.

In feeling, thinking, deciding,

the soul, knowing, desiring, deciding, and acting

Having the spiritual nature of CHRIST's affection, emotion, desire, and mental disposition

4ai.) HE CANNOT= not be able, not have power whether by virtue of one's own ability and resources, not to be able to do something, not to be capable, not strong and not powerful, could not, may not, might not.

4aii.) SEE=to perceive with the eyes, to perceive by any of the senses, notice, discern, discover, to turn the eyes, the mind, the attention to anything and everything of GOD, to pay attention, observe, to know get knowledge of, understand, be aware, to cherish,

4aiii.) THE KINGDOM = royal power, kingship, dominion, rule and reign of the royal power of Jesus as the triumphant Messiah

4aiv.) OF GOD =the TRINITY, FATHER, CHRIST, HOLY SPIRIT, the only and true GOD (John17:3), the things of GOD, HIS counsels, interests, things due to HIM.

4b.) HE CANNOT ENTER= to come in into the KINGDOM of GOD.

#Great_Commission #Holy_Spirit #Witness #Martyr #Global_Arena Instead of being concerned about the date of Christ’s return, the disciples’ job was to carry His message throughout the world. #YOU_SHALL_RECEIVE_POWER: This does not refer to personal power for godly living, as demonstrated in the lives of OT saints (ABRAHAM in Gen. 22; JOSEPH in Gen. 39; MOSES in Ex. 14; DANIEL in Dan. 6). This was power for a new task—namely, to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. Be witnesses is Christ’s command to His disciples to tell others about Him regardless of the consequences. Church tradition tells us that all but one of the eleven apostles who heard this promise became MARTYRS (John died in exile). God empowered His disciples to be faithful witnesses even when they faced the most vehement opposition. That same power for witnessing is available to us today. Our task is not to convince people, but to testify of the truth of the gospel. The "#power" believers receive from the Holy Spirit includes: -#courage -#boldness -#confidence -#insight -#ability -#authority. The disciples would need all these gifts to fulfill their #mission. If you believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior, you can experience the power of the Holy Spirit in your life. Jesus had instructed his disciples to witness to people of all nations about him (Mat 28:19-20). But they were told to wait first for the Holy Spirit (Luk 24:49). God has important work for you to do for him, but you must do it by the power of the Holy Spirit. We often like to get on with the job, even if it means running ahead of God. But waiting is sometimes part of God's plan. Are you waiting and listening for God's complete instructions, or are you running ahead of his plans? We need God's timing and power to be truly effective. This verse describes a series of ever-widening circles. The #Good_News was to spread, geographically, from #Jerusalem, into #Judea and #Samaria, and finally to the #ends_of_the_earth. It would begin with the devout Jews in Jerusalem and Samaria, spread to the mixed race in Samaria, and, finally, be offered to #Gentiles all over the world. As I sit here singing pattycake and head shoulders knees and toes with babygirl#2 I can see that she’s slowly learning how to do the moves and how to say the words although some words are unclear, although some of the moves she skips and some she does out of order or not “right” she is still trying, she still knows more than she knew before, I can see that there’s momentum. Watching this it reminds me of how this happens in our walk with Christ whether you’ve been walking or call yourself a Christian for your whole entire life or whether you’re new to the faith following Jesus.

I don’t think we ever fully reach the potential that we have in Christ I think there’s so much to learn there’s so much that the Holy Spirit can convict us of, so much to teach us, to show us the ways of God. God is infinite and so of course there’s more things to be revealed by Him.

If you continue to keep applying// putting into action what you learned//what was revealed you get stronger in the sense that you now know the words and the movements and are now able to sing by yourself. She won’t even remember when or maybe even how she learned it but I will. I will know. I will remember guiding her through it. To keep teaching her//showing her the way. To keep speaking to her. To keep singing with her. In a sense that’s kind of like the Holy Spirit.

NewSpring Church on the Holy Spirit:

He has been given to us so that we can know who God is and know how to follow Him. Often He will speak to us in our minds by giving us a thought or an idea. Or He will lead us by making an impression upon our heart to say something, do something, or think something according to His will. It’s important to recognize that the Holy Spirit will never speak anything to us that doesn’t align with scripture. If it conflicts with anything in the Bible, then it is not from the Spirit of God.

Like Jesus said, the Spirit will be with us forever. Therefore as Children of God we can have confidence that He will never leave us or let us down as we choose to follow Him all our days.
