After a school day ended, y/n decided to hang at Karen’s house.

Karen reclined on her bed, her eyes fixed on her girlfriend, Y/n, who sat across from her, a mischievous glint in her eyes. The room was bathed in a soft, warm glow from the string lights adorning the walls, casting an intimate ambiance over the space.

Y/n crawled closer to Karen with a small smile, admiring her girlfriend’s face. Straddling Karen, Y/n leaned in closer, her lips hovering just inches from Karen's. "You know, baby, I can't stop thinking about that math test for tomorrow. But more than that, I can’t stop thinking about your lips,”

Karen's heart fluttered at the thought, a playful smirk dancing on her lips. "Oh, really? And what exactly were you thinking we should do?"

Y/n chuckled, closing the distance between them and capturing Karen's lips in a passionate kiss. Karen melted into the embrace, her hands tangling in Y/n's hair as she deepened the kiss.

Their lips moved together in a fevered dance, each touch sending sparks flying between them. Karen's heart raced with desire as she lost herself in the intoxicating sensation of Y/n's lips against hers.

But just as the kiss threatened to consume them both, Karen pulled away, her chest heaving with anticipation.

"Wait," Karen murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "Don't pull away... Not yet."

Y/n tugged on the hem of Karen’s shirt with hereyes widened in surprise at the unexpected request, but she complied, leaning back in to capture Karen's lips once more. This time, the kiss was slower, more deliberate, as Karen took control, her hands trailing down Y/n's back, pulling her closer.

Y/n gasped against Karen's lips, her own hands roaming over Karen's body with a newfound urgency. Karen's dominance was intoxicating, igniting a fire within Y/n that threatened to consume her whole.

As they kissed, the outside world faded away, leaving only the two of them lost in the moment. Karen's touch was electric, sending shivers down Y/n's spine as they moved together in perfect harmony.

But eventually, the need for air forced them to break apart, their chests heaving with exertion as they struggled to catch their breath.

Karen's eyes were dark with desire as she gazed at Y/n, a smirk playing on her lips. "Well, that was...i dont know."

Y/n chuckled breathlessly, her heart still racing from the intensity of their kiss. “Oh just shut up and kiss me again.”

This time Ellie was the one who didn't answer the question, shrugging and turning to the stable which Shimmer was stood in. Grabbing her reigns and pulling her out.

"You riding with me?" You shook your head. "Star hasn't gotten enough exercise lately. She needs her workout Ellie." You spoke seriously making her laugh, guiding Shimmer to the gate while you followed after her.

"When we have our sleepover can we watch that new scary movie that you found?" You asked as you both exited Jackson into the cool summer wasteland, the mountains beginning to reflect the light of the sunrise peeking over the horizon.

"Yeah. But I'm not keeping the lights on." You grumbled something under your breath. "Fine. Maybe one." "No I don't need one." "You did last time." You huffed, looking away from her. "Did not."

"What'd you say?" "Nothing." You muttered. "Yeah that's what I thought."

"You're a dick." "You love it."

You shook your head with a little hum. "Nope."

Her eyes scanned your body as you continued down the golden path, giving little pockets of shade through the trees.

"What?" You broke her line of thought, eyes shooting back to your own. "Nothing."

Your ears turned hot along with your cheeks, even though you couldn't see it. Glancing away from her and staring off into the distance.

"We're here." You both slid off your horses, Ellie's hand finding itself on the small of your back as you both walked inside. Cautiously looking around through the small walls of the shop. One of the only ones left on the homey little street just outside of the large neighborhood.

"Do you ever wonder who owned these places?" You asked, grabbing the book from under the counter and signing your names, the entire time her fingers tickled your lower back and hereyes never stopping their movement as she watched outside the front door.

"Sometimes, mostly when you bring it up."

"I like to think about what we'd be like before." You began while standing up straight, turning to meet her eyes. "Like what we'd be and how our lives would go. Do you think we'd have met?" She shrugged. "Probably." "Yeah, we're practically soulmates, like in those stories. Tied together through time." You said dramatically

The comment made her blush this time, even though she knew you meant in a friendly way. Giving her that sweet smile she loved so much.

"You are so corny." "You love it." You giggled.

"I think you would be an astronaut, or do something with how good you are at drawing. And I could run a shop for flowers, or bakery. Or even a bookstore–"

You continued to ramble as you walked out of the shop, Ellie right behind you, though her eyes were locked somewhere else.

"Right?" "Yeah." She didn't hear a word you said afterwards.

"We could've been roommates." You climbed up onto Star. "Sleepovers, every night. Then again we could technically do that now too." Her hand suddenly grabbed your calf, giving you a little squeeze before climbing up on Shimmer.

"You should really just move in." You said matter-of-factly, continuing to ride down the road. "Or you could live with me." "You only have one bed, how're you supposed to have anyone over?" "I have a couch." "Ew I'm never sitting on that thing again."

You could hear her laugh from behind you.

"I haven't on the couch yet, just the bed." "Ellie! I have to sleep there tonight. I'm gonna cancel if you keep talking." She snorted. "I do change the sheets." "Thank God."

You rode in a comfortable silence after that. The cool air sending a light shiver up your spine, relaxing when the breeze blew past. Closing your eyes while leaning forward making your back arch just the lightest.

Ellie knew staring was wrong, admiring you like this would make you uncomfortable if you were aware of it. Surely it would, but she couldn't help herself, you were just so pretty.

Especially when you were so relaxed and sat so nicely.

Making those little noises while you stretched your arms back, looking around yourself and at the trees.

Turning to her with that fucking smile.

"I can't wait to go back to bed." You yawned, dragging her away from your appearance.

You all but threw yourself onto the mattress, your feet hanging off the bed as you kicked off your shoes snuggling deep into the fresh sheets.

You stared at her with an agape mouth, faux shock on your face.

"You are such an ass today." You stood up and shoved her shoulder playfully turning your body away from her and taking your shirt off to change.

"I'm tired." Was all Ellie said in response, climbing up into her spot on the bed. You unclasped your bra and set it aside with your shirt, planning on bringing the clothes home tomorrow once you left.

"Excuses, excuses." You muttered, putting one of her shirts over your head and pulling it down. "Mhm." You glanced over your shoulder as you unbuttoned your jean shorts, seeing her clicking around with her game controller.

"I'm gonna put on a random movie. Background noise, y'know?" "M'kay." You slipped down the shorts and grabbed a pair of sleep shorts you'd left here before.

"I'll probably fall asleep a few minutes in though." She shrugged, scooting over as you made your way to your spot on the bed. Her arm opened wide for you to lay back against, snuggling into a throw blanket that technically was yours, you'd just kept forgetting to bring it home.

The particular movie she'd chosen though started off at a scene that happened to make you go wide eyed.
