summary — a certain notion appears inside your mind, like a lightbulb on top of your head as if you were having an eureka moment when in fact, you weren’t. it was just a silly idea in which you are curious to know the answer to. alternatively, just your average grocery shopping with him with a little twist and that being placing every item that you see into the cart.

He doesn’t show an ounce of care and will just let you have your fun, for now. Because yeah, sure, you can add that box of mugs that are identical to the ones you have at home, dear, but that doesn’t mean you’ll see it getting packed into the grocery bags; Oh, that ladle set sure does look nice (you won’t see it in your place ever). He’ll let you indulge in your pleasures and won’t deny you of it, however, so much can only one do in this economy and some of the things that you are putting in is exceeding that. He’ll put some of the things back whenever you are not looking, trying not to get noticed. Perhaps you won’t notice it at first when a few things are missing and somehow, the cart doesn’t seem to get full no matter how many you are adding to it. He’ll act so innocent and naive when you ask him about it, however, smiling at you softly and asking you what you are talking about. He’ll only tell you of it once you’re on your way back with the bags, expressing an apology that he has to remove some of the things in the cart that you added and you two will get it again next time.

Oh no, dear, the cart is full already? You just have to wait there and he’ll get another one for you, so for the meantime, you can scope and look out for other items that you want to get. One word, supportive. Or maybe he just loves to spoil you a lot. Either way, he clearly lets you do whatever you want; he’s a little bit of an enabler, perhaps. The weight of the groceries is nothing compared to the affection he has for you. You don’t even have to look at the price either—he advises you not to do so because that’s not really a concern (for him, atleast). Really, he loves you a lot to the point that he is willing to just watch you as he pushes the quite heavy cart and carries a basket like how you would carry a bag with just your arm (need yourself a man who’ll willingly push the cart for you and follow you around). He doesn’t mind it, it’s only one of the many things that he’ll do for you. There’s just one thing, however. You don’t know what you’re going to do with the pile of things you got so before paying it on the counter, you’ll have to return many of them.

At first, it starts off just like how it usually would: you grab some of the things that you need and want then place it in the cart as you two walk around the store and he simply lets you do as you want, just like your normal day of grocery shopping with him. Until several items were placed into the cart later and he had to question himself, why? Are those needed? What would you need a new blender for when there is a completely functional and working one at your home? He’s visibly confused but he will simply let you be because how could he stop you when you’re clearly enjoying whatever you are doing and he adores watching you in such light—you, simply, just walking and being with him has him falling head over heels for you. In lieu of that, it’s probably the reason why he’ll let you get away with doing some things including whatever you are doing (but that doesn’t mean he won’t be having any questions). Oh, how long the receipt will be. He will have to stop you as soon as the cart gets full and there is no more room for other important items, however. I mean, come on, there are more knives and cups there than there are for eggs and milk together.

Is that really necessary? What’s that? Do you want it? He’s quite verbal on what is happening, becoming (your) voice of reason on this whimsical notion. His reaction is a mix of everything, he’ll let you add whatever you want but at the same time, he’ll place some of it back and would’ve stopped you from adding a few—perhaps he’ll also express his confusion, but never will there be annoyance: “Where are you going to use that for?” He’ll act more like a mother asking their child what in the world are they adding into the cart, just without the scolding part and telling you how it is expensive and you’re not the one paying for everything. He doesn’t mind you placing many things as long as they are essential and of necessity. He’ll let in a few of your wants here and there but not so much that it will consume half of the space of the cart. He’s more on the rational side of things, keeping you grounded to reality and that reality being the costs, the amount of things you’ll have to carry on the way back, and where you will even place some of those products that you completely don’t need.

All became a game of fun with him just as quick as you placed that one vase in the cart. Well, everything feels like a game with him even if it’s as simple as who’ll finish their food first. It’s silly, if you are going to be honest. You two were acting like children whose both of their parents lost sight of them at the store and are now running around the place, each with their own cart of their own (random) items. The competition? Who fills their cart first is the winner (with no duplicate items). Whenever you two would have an accidental encounter, you would check each other’s cart and see who has more then proceed to tease one another of who is the winner. However, the reality of the situation dawns over you two when you remember that you have to bring these things to the counter and pay for it—and the fact that you have to return, if not all, most of the items back to their proper places. By then, you two would have to start over the grocery shopping adventure again but this time, only with what is completely necessary in your cart. You’ll still have your own fun with him in this busy place, nonetheless.

Xiao, Kazuha, and Venti are roommates in the University Dorm house, Scaramouche lives with his aunt that lives near the univ, Aether with his sister, and Heizou alone.

Although, most of the time, they have a sleepover at the dorms because Heizou argues that “You guys will be the reason if we’re late for that 7 am class if you don’t let us sleep here.”

No, he just wanna spend time with his friends.

Xiao excelsin mathematics, Kazuha and Venti in literature and music, Aether’s an average in everything, Scaramouche doesn’t care but pass subjects anyways, and Heizou is good at everything.

Heizou and Aether makes sure that everyone in the circle is studying and listening while Kazuha is in charge of checking if everyone’s eating right. Xiao always gets an earful because the man lives in instants.

Scaramouche and Xiao are the reason no one dares to touch and taunt their group, but Scaramouche will falter at the gaze of her aunt, and Xiao is the most reserved in their circle.

Venti sings. He sings a low, gentle tone when everyone feels exhausted after a long day at the university, he hums softly when he feels like one of his friends are having an anxiety attack, but can’t talk about it (He always know, he’s the most observant) and he sings his heart out to cheer anyone.

Aether and Kazuha are the middleman. Scara’s being an asshole to one of their classmates? Kazuha will be shooting him a glare from across the room. Venti being the chaos himself? Aether will come and calm down the oh-so energetic lad.

And oh, they all know about Xiao’s little crush on you, with—again, as the calmest— Kazuha and Aether giving the best advice. Aether sometimesasking hissistertobring you to one of their friend dates so his friend can spend some time with you out of the campus.

Scaramouche will be throwing disgusting looks teasingly at Xiao when he notices that the latter is lovestruck, earning a glare with the same energy.

Venti, contrary to popular belief, is the most helpful. This is because he’s also your friend. He tells Xiao one dinner at the dormwhat or what not to do when it comes to you, with the said man giving him a “I don’t need that. I don’t like her” of which Kazuha sighed into.

“What was that for? I really don’t!” can be heard throughout the room.

And it was Scaramouche who had made him realized that he did like you.

“Well if you don’t like her, then I guess you wouldn’t mind if I pursue her?”

Cue the pissed off Xiao halfheartedly admitting he is head over heels for you.

Since their group is always the hot topic at school— please, they’re all good looking, academically good (somehow), kind of rich, etc., you’re genuinely surprised when one of them falls for you. And Venti will laugh it off because you are, if not better, as good as his friends.

They didn’t help Xiao in the confession part, though. They want their friend to do it himself because it will only be worth it by then.

But the pride and joy they’ve felt when he did? It’s comparable to yours.

When you started dating, you find yourself always almost hanging around their friend group.

Scaramouche still throwing disgusted looks at the sight of you and Xiao, with your boyfriend returning a sharp stare.

It was a peaceful day at inazuma, [Name] had just finished doing a commission with the traveler, and they were hanging out for a bit and traveler suddenly brought up a topic about Heizou.

``Hey [Name], do you and Heizou work together?`` Traveler says ``Well yes, he’s my colleague, why do you ask?`` [Name] says, sipping his tea.

``He’s pretty cool, and he talks about you a lot!`` Traveler says and [Name] stopped ``he talks about me?`` this had caught [Names] attention, he wanted to know what Heizou thinks of him all of a sudden, but he didn’t know why.

``Well, he says your cute, tall and handsome? also said that you have a great personality,`` [Name] blushed, thinking that his colleague though of him that way... made something spark in him.

He turned his face away and calmed his thoughts ``Really? thats what the stupid detective talks about? i think he could do better,`` He was actually happy to hear that Heizou thought of him this way, it gave him the little more hope he needed.

``Oh? me? a stupid detective, how inaccurate of you detective [Name]~`` [Name] tensed up and looked behind him to see Heizou with a smirk on his face.

``W-What are you doing here?! don’t you have a job to do??`` [Name] said as Heizou chuckled ``Hey traveler, mind leaving us alone for a moment?`` Traveler seemed to know what was going on, and nodded and then left to go to a more farther place from the two.

``What do you want now Shikanoin...`` [name] Refused to make eye contact or even glance at the detective, he was too flustered to even know what the detective was going to do as well.

``So, how come the most ‘smartest’ Detective can’t even look at Detective heizou in the eye? is he too flustered~`` Heizou said in a flirty tone and sat next to [Name].

``Shut up`` Heizou laughs and put his hand on the others thigh ``Don’t tell me you have an interest in me~ how cute of you~`` [Name] blushed even more, you can probably imagine how red he is tbh.

``Stop it Shikanoin..`` ``Look at your face! its so red! you probably do like me!`` [Name] gripped onto his pants, biting his lip, and all of a sudden.

Heizou x Reader: Shall We Dance

Here to kick off the Genshin side of dancing series somehow this short anemo boi become the dark horse of spicy content…of this dancing series. Honestly his theme was made for bachata~

It was supposed to be a stakeout in the Tanuki woods to catch a common crook. However, the night was going slow and you and Heizou were getting bored, which was never good.

At least the view from the tree you both were perched it was picturesque.

The breeze blew over the evening sky and the Sakura petals fell pink against the dark night.

"Hey you wanna dance" Heizhou suggested suddenly and randomly

"Huh okay?" somewhat agreeing in jest on half believing this would happen as he helped you jump down from the tree lifting you up into a twirl.

Thus the dance began with the willows in the woods framing your dance.

You began by swaying a bit with the breeze following the night's music as he embraced you behind from times before twirling into another position.

Turning, spinning hands-on hip, and shoulders constantly circling on another and swaying hips to the beat of Heizou’s theme.

A hand on you back pushing you into a spin and yours reaching out to push against his shoulder to do a twirl or two.

The little lights from the pathways lighted your way as you danced in the shadows.

At times even shifting to look over each other shoulders and at each other in playful rhythm and knocking shoulders. Then ending meeting holding hands to reconnect in the middle.

His arm around your waist and your hands on his chest “Hold tight” he says with a twinkle in his eye kicking off into his ultimate to lift you up into Sakura tree.

“Shall we go catch the culprit or continue dancing in the tree?” teases Heizou with a wink as he pins you beneath the branches.

Possible upcoming series or an addition to the shall we dance/dancing with the star’s series

Element of surprise series where the boys use their element to surprise their significant other.

Once he sees the sight of a singular bed in a room that the two of you had to stay in the whole night, the idea that the two of you will be sharing it flusters him. Is he really going to share a bed with you? Never in his wildest dreams will he even imagine of being in the same bed as you (in the context of just sleeping in it). He tries to hide his shyness and embarrassment by talking quite a lot—“It was such a tiring day. Oh hey, there’s only one bed here.” paired with a nervous chuckle, he says. He wouldn’t sleep immediately, maybe he’ll do something for a little bit but he wouldn’t sleep immediately. He’ll wait for you until you do so and if you ever invite him to just come to the bed already so he can get the rest that he needs, he will (not before hesitating) but will only sit on the edge while his back is facing you because he doesn’t know if he can face you properly with his cheeks completely flustered and his eyes darting all over the place, not able to remain still. Archons, what is he supposed to do?

He immediately becomes a gentleman, seemingly knowing what to do as soon as he sees there’s only one bed—he’ll be sleeping on the floor instead while you take the bed. He wouldn’t hesitate in doing so as long as you’re comfortable and satisfied in your sleep, he wouldn’t mind sacrificing a bit just for your own happiness, after all. It will take him quite a lot of convincing and talking just so you could urge him to just sleep besides you and share the bed with him—you won’t mind it really as he doesn’t seem to be the type of person that would be horrible to sleep together with (probably no snores and not much of a movement). He’ll get on the bed, on your side but not too close as he maintains a distance, and he’ll sit instead of laying down—“I am not sleepy yet.”—and he will choose to either talk and tell you stories that he has heard from when he was a kid or from the people around or he will choose to remain in silence, choosing to enjoy the sound of the leaves rustling outside and the quiet hum of the evening breeze, as he waits for you to drift off to sleep.

Cyno, Diluc, Zhongli, Tighnari, Childe, Kazuha

There's only one bed? Oh no, what are you going to do? What in the world is he going to do? Of course, sleep on it. What else even? Should he even care about the fact that there’s only one bed for you two? As long as there’s a bed, it should be no problem for you both as the bed is big enough to fit you two. He wouldn’t even bother thinking of setting some sort of boundary between you two and would even say something along the lines of not minding if you get too close to him and hug him while you sleep. He’s just so casual about it as if he has gotten used to sharing a bed with someone when in fact, this is probably his first time as despite the nonchalant act that he shows, his mind is just all over the place. Despite the casual and carefree show that he puts on, once you lay down beside him and he could inhale your scent, his heart will flutter out of his chest and his thoughts would get too loud that he’s afraid you might be able to hear him—he knows he wouldn’t be able to sleep for the whole night.

There’s only one bed and there’s two of you—one of you has to be on the floor and it’s not going to be him. However, if you insist, earlier on, and fight with him that you’ll be on the bed also, both of you would compromise on having a boundary in the middle of the bed and that boundary is just consisting of one pillow because archons forbid for the two of you to have so much pillows in a singular bed. “This line must not and should not be crossed or I’m going to kick you off the fucking bed,” he tells you as he points at the pillow placed at the space in between of him and you before he turns around and dozes off to sleep—it sounds like a baseless threat, one that sounds silly instead of scary, but you still listened anyways, not wanting to have any of your rest being more cut off or interrupted. Now, you’ll just have to see if the line will be maintained or one of you will cross it in the next morning.

He wouldn’t sleep at all. He’ll be up doing something else, doing something entirely different as long as he is not and will be sleeping and it's not because he dislikes the idea of sharing a bed with you, it’s just more like he wouldn’t be able to handle it—I mean, sharing a bed, really? How cramped can it be? How awkward can it be? How hard will it be for him? It’s probably much better that he keeps awake and watches over you as you sleep instead of having such loud and persisting thoughts inside his head as he tries to rest in the bed while you’re there beside him—he probably would feel more overwhelmed with his thoughts and feelings. “Xiao? Why won’t you come to the bed so you can get at least some rest?” You say to him, tone gentle and soothing like you’re trying to make him trust you but he still insisted on not doing so, simply just shaking his head and turning his head away—And maybe that hurt you a bit but you have to brush it off as well, that’s just how he is, always keeping a safe distance from you as if he’s afraid to get close.

KAZUHA, the type to wake up in the morning before you and instead of waking you up also, he would rather prefer watching you sleep, admiring each of your features and memorizing the lines on your face, burning the memory in his mind. with the sun already rising, sunlight had seeped into the room, gently laying on the floor and your face like spilled honey. his happiness and peace came in the form of you, in the morning as he watches you sleep before you stir and open your eyes, smiling at him as soon as you see him—“why did you not wake me up?” you would say to him and what could he tell you aside from “i love you”?

KAZUHA, the type to kiss you on your forehead as soon as he sees you rouse up from your sleep, spilling warmth from his lips as he greets you, “did you have a good sleep?” with the most gentle of smiles. he seeps affection into your skin, burying into your bones, leaving traces of him in the crevices of your mind. also the type to often get up before you so he could cook breakfast and bring it to you on your bed as soon as you wake up; “how did you sleep, love?”

KAZUHA, the type to be extremely clingy and affectionate; the type to wrap his arms around your waist and hug you from the behind, burying his face on the skin of your neck and letting out a satisfied sigh with his worries dissipating along with it. but double the clinginess when he’s drunk or upset, he’s affectionately drunk in a way that he clings to you like a koala is to a tree and wouldn’t want you leaving his side—immediately grabs you and pulls you back to him when you try to do so. when he’s upset, however, he tends to be silent and would rather just have you hug him and listen to the sound of your heartbeat which puts him at ease.

HEIZHOU, the type to notice the smallest things about you. he’s a detective, a man with a sharp mind and keen observation, how could he not notice the way you style your hair a little bit different than usual or the way sadness ghosted over your smile whenever you think of a distant memory—or perhaps it was something along the lines of nostalgia and yearning. he’ll catch on the smallest details of you, etches it in the crevices of his mind and burned in his memory; “isn’t that your favorite color?” he asks, pointing at a flower standing alone in a small patch of grass, and you knit your eyebrows for a moment before turning to look at him, “how did you know?”, which only causes him to shrug, acting as if it was just a lucky guess when it was all because he sees your gaze lingering over a particular shade or noticing the way your features soften at the sight of that particular hue.

WANDERER, the type to not show his feelings through words but rather with actions instead, and oftentimes with gifts. however, the same goes for him. he’s not used to such words, often responding to it in quite a mean manner by brushing it off and rolling his eyes but trust me and just observe his reaction carefully—he would turn away from you but despite that, you could still see the way his ears redden. he simply doesn’t know how to take it, only knowing how to either ignore it or somewhat agree with it, stating that it is only a must that you love him and that you should stay by his side for eternity that will come. he adores you, he really does and it’s way more than you might think, he’s just unable to convey it in a manner that you will understand so he does it in his own way in which is not hard for you to grasp the meaning behind it.
