I thought that Kryptos and Hectorgon may have been from the same place because of the fact they both have mouths but Hectorgon doesn't really have eyes? I feel like that's probably important in making that conclusion so maybe not.

Kryptos and Bill are probably not from the same dimension (despite similar design characteristics) because of said visible mouth being absent on Cipher, therefore probably not being from the same dimension. Maybe some kind of Spiderverse situation where Kryptos plays Bill's role in his dimension but like they're not the same person (at least im pretty sure thats how it worked in those movies im stupid i apologize)

I also want to point out Amorphous Shape and Bill are the only characters with this kind of eyeshape? I was gonna point out that maybe they're from the same dimension but Amorphous has this cube on it? Which wouldn't really fit because we know that Bill comes from a 2-D world and a cube is a 3-D object (nah, really?) so. Or maybe it folded itself in like that in a 3-D space. This could be possible that they are from the same dimension. But what are Amorphous Shape's arms bro??? Is this a factor in this?? I need answers??

My conclusion: Unclear but I think we can say that they are not all from the same 2D dimension.

Bill- Sadodere (Sadistic) bc you know why, and Yandere (We all know) Pyronica- Kamidere (Prideful/self-centered), Dorodere (Like Toga from LOV) or Hiyakasudere (Tease) Keyhole- 100% Derdere (kind/energetic) Xanthar- Ahodere (Oblivious to love/affection) Teeth- Tsundere (We all know), Ahodere, or Kuudere (Stoic) Kryptos- Probably a Bakadere (Childish), Tsundere, or Kamidere Hectorgon- maybe Darudere (Lazy), or Nemuidere (sleepy) (idk I just imagine him being a lazy guy.) Paci-fire- Sadodere, Kitikudere (Mean to hide affection), or Kamidere 8-Ball- 99% Ahodere, with 1% Kamidere Amorphous Shape- Hiyakasudere (Flirty) Lava-Lamp- Kamidere and/or Kitikudere (I Imagine him as some snarky guy lol.) Liam (derogatory) is Bill Cipher, I’m using my first human design for him here because I’m attached. He probably looks more dapper when he’s going into cities, but I’m well aware he’s several cuils removed from Actual Bill Cipher, but I’m making him a raider boss in a fallout au.

So I ALSO made the Henchmaniacs into a gathering of mutated fellas and guys who are just kind of fucked up. None of them are strictly good people but while I was designing them I was getting sad about how a lot of people probably get into raiding because they were in bad positions in life and if they’d gotten proper help.

Liam/Bill is a psyker, for added threat, because I don’t think the modern games have played enough with that.

Also I gotta say...I really struggled with Teeth. Short buff guy won out but he might get a second pass later.

kryptos being a flatlander is all well and good and interesting to chew on but hectorgon potentially being a spacelander is wilder imo. like with kryptos being a flatlander headcanons may vary but the general idea of “there was one guy in bill’s home dimension that he was at least a little attached to for whatever reason and bill kept him around” makes sense, you can see the through line, but hectorgon being a spacelander is a little insane. like there’s a subtle implication that there’s a similar caste system in spaceland, so hectorgon would have been like, low nobility, and the idea of bill a. wanting a spacelander around at all and b. choosing, while not a polygonal prism, a hexagonal noble, is NUTS. what on earth did this guy do to roll with bill’s gang

Follow up on Bill gender: Bill and Mable's gender conversation implied that one could have a number-of-sides identity which might not be reflected by your... assigned shape? This analogy is breaking down. To the question: Do you think that was true in his real life home dimension, or just something he was chill about on a whim? Will it ever come up in the fic?

Yeah, there were trans shapes. Bill is one of them! Like I'm calling him "triangle" for simplicity but really it's pyramid which is like 4/5 triangle and 1/5 square simultaneously in a higher-dimensional way, but like also he's been calling himself a spherical triangle for literally a trillion years and he's still kinda loyal to that identity because he's only been thinking of himself as a pyramid for 4000-odd years, and spherical triangle captures some of the experience of being 2D in a 3D way but not all of the experience and it leaves out the squareness so pyramid's more accurate but "pyramid" doesn't reflect the whole "grew up with psychic powers" experience and Bill thinks being psychic is an important part of his gender identity still so like he's wondering whether fourth-dimensional hyperspherical pyramid is the best fit, but he doesn't FEEL 4D, he feels 2D in a 3D way—you know what, you know what, it's complicated, you're just a human, you can call him a triangle, it's fine, it's close enough, really, he's somewhere under the triangle umbrella, it's fine, don't worry about it, really don't worry about it, it's cool, he's cool with it.

Hectorgon decided somewhere along the way that he didn't feel like a 2D hexagon anymore and got some work done and is a 3D hexagonal prism now and is content with it. Amorphous Shape has stuff going on with them Bill can't even beGIN to make sense of but sometimes they look like a bunch of squares and sometimes they look like a bunch of other polygons and everyone just nods and goes with it, and tbh naming yourself Amorphous Shape is sort of like renaming yourself Genderfluid Human and then all your friends nickname you Derf. Bill's dad was intersex in one direction and picked up a trans-ish gender presentation in a totally different direction. As a child Bill met another spherical shape that looked like a line in the second dimension but in the third dimension was a polygon—a biangle—struggling to get that recognized as an actual sex.

And all this is like, the shape equivalent of having a gender that can't be described with anything less than five terms and a freshly-baked set of new neopronouns. There were also more conventional trans identities—assigned squares who wanted to be seen as lines, triangles who wanted to be seen as pentagons, hexagons that were sometimes hexagons and sometimes octagons, septagons that felt sideless, etc.

Bill's stance on all this since he was equivalent-to-a-teen has been Anybody Can Do Anything They Want Forever.

He got in fights with his dad about whether including biangles when greeting his audiences—"Welcome, lines, bis, and tris; quads, quints, and more"—would alienate the Traditional Members Of The Audience.

I don't know how much of all of the above will ever actually make it into the fic aside from discussing biangles.
