Memories:

- There was this lovely plum tree at the shrine I resided in that I would often sit under reading scrolls and eating the fruit it provided.

- I worked quite a small farm along with San Lang and grew various crops also at the shrine.

- One time I tried (and failed) to set up a sort of river pond for water crops, specifically water chestnuts.

- The shackles on my neck and ankle while appeared more akin to markings, they also looked like they were pressed into my skin almost like imbedded. When they broke they tore the area around and left some rather unsightly scars.

- In the same vain I also have scars on my chest and back from the 100 sword event.

- During Xianle times, I was a rather lax person and often tried to help people whenever I can, even if I was chastised for it.

"Who in their right mind would like Jun Wu?"

Me. I like Jun Wu. Call me crazy but I think he's pathetic. The strongest being in his entire universe but he gets pressed over a teenager's motivational quote. He's so pissed because this kid reminds him of himself and he's daring to do all the things he himself wanted to do. And he hates it, he's so jealous because HE failed. He was trying his best, it wasn't his fault, everyone pushed him, he wants so badly to believe this that he's torturing a kid to prove that the teen is going to fail too. That the world wasn't designed for people like them to succeed. That "Of course we're going to fail, people like us never win, we never get happy endings. Can't you see I'm trying to save you."

But that doesn't happen. The kid is stronger than he is and that is such a slap in the face. XD Because this child never had as much power as he did. Xie Lian couldn't see into the future. He was working with pure spite and an intense amount of determination to not loose to his tormentor.

Jun Wu is so tired of being the gifted kid but he can't stop because that's all he's been his entire life. He's so burnt out but he doesn't dare reveal that. He's nothing without the praise, the adoration, the worship, yet Xie Lian has moved past all that and he's happy. And that makes Jun Wu so mad, he's so mad. XD He's so sad and pitiful and despicable that he's desperate.... At the end he doesn't even remember what he's fighting for. What is he doing? What has he been trying to achieve for 2000 years? He's so tired. He doesn't even realise how tired he is until Mei Nianqing says something. He's so tired of being alone and rejected and hating himself even more than Hua Cheng hates himself. It's pathetic. It makes me feel a little sorry for him.
