this is my element (+ album)

asking me to pick my fave album is like asking an orphan matron to pick her favorite baby boy

thats some weird and cruel circumstances to put upon me i feel like it changes every damn week like a rota

i mean what if my beats misbehave and i gotta put 'em in time out i cant play permanent on that theyre too cute

but yknow what i can show you one thing thats been on my mind lately

so when i was a kid we had this skateboard vid by "element skateboards" on DVD

they were this skateboard kit slash apparel company that was all about progressivism and shit and they did these much lauded comp tapes of dudes riding around on their boards and doing the dopest of macho tricks on the shit

putting the rock in the house like a big man

we had some of their merch actually

so anyways the one we had back then was This Is My Element

released 2007

mostly clips from cali i think and i mean the camerawork is fucking insane on some of those shots

this is gonna sound lame as fuck but i prob spent so many cumulative hours just peelin through the footage and ogling the shit outta it

the whole thing has an original soundtrack of ambient beats

got some abstract hip hop jams, got some more indie stuff, lots of acoustic sampling

and basically every track minus one is done by sampler beast david p. madson AKA "odd nosdam"

he is the master of the beat machine i shit you not hes always been kinda my idol on this stuff

anyways he had an E-mu SP-1200 which is a really oldschool sampler invented by dave rossum in the late 80s

revolutionary to the hip hop scene

nosdam had this mega distinct sound to his music that i always wanted to replicate on my own beats

i dont know for sure if he used it on T.I.M.E. but he uses some of the same samples from "vol. 9" which was exclusively SP-1200 so im gonna get a lil j’accuzi on that

it couldve been a boss dr sampler SP-202 though idk

so aside from beating the shit out of the pause/resume button to flip my whole cranium at the cinematography or whatever i would also kinda play it on loop to listen to the soundtrack and space out at 2am

If you guys are heavy into the tgcf or mdzs fandom than you’ll know exactly who this author, Evie, is. She wrote NPAB and The Soul Remains, along with a bunch of other beautiful fics. BUT MY GOD THIS ONE!!! I never see anyone talk about Post Mortem and I will proudly say this is my fav Wangxian fic, and one of my favorite fics period. The story is wonderful, characters r well written, beautifully paced, plot is to die for(lol). She’s an amazing author all in all so check her work out if you haven’t!!

Sexuality Headcanon: I personally don’t think people in PIDW think about sex and sexuality much as anything ridged. In a world with sex pollen and I assume gender change magic around every corner I figure people don’t care. But I do think Liu Qingge is almost exclusively attracted to men. Mostly he’s attracted to strength though.

Gender Headcanon: As with above I don’t think Liu Qingge really thinks about gender at all, he just wants to have the best body to fight in. If he got hit by a gender change spell he’d take a couple minutes to adjust and go right back to knocking heads together. He genuinely doesn’t care.

A ship I have with said character: LiuShen is my top ship for him, but once again I’m super flexible with shipping. He just needs someone to let him devote himself to them and actually let him protect them like he wants. I will say BingLiuShen is one of my favorite polyships, and I do judge LiuShen fics by what they do with Luo Binghe.

A BROTP I have with said character: I like to imagine him and Mu Qingfan have a fun ribbing friendship. LQG is always getting into trouble and MQF is the exasperated doctor cleaning up his messes. At the same time though, MQF will get caught up in experiments without regard for himself or others and LQG is one of the only people able to pull him out.

A NOTP I have with said character: I don’t really have one for him, I haven’t come across anything that’s a no from me. Maybe Yang Yixuan?

A random headcanon: He’s not actually dumb, he has a perfect young lord’s education but he doesn’t really apply it. He’s got a one track mind but he does know things.

General Opinion over said character: Another fave! He won me over with his loyalty and unwavering faith. He’s got such a knightly charm about him that really endears him to me.

MuJiu is my fave pair but it's so rare so I-uh. Kind of go insane when I read one. Well, anyways, this is my Mu Qingfang, sorry no mustache. I haven't actually seen the donghua so I literally just slapped on a 'guy who thinks he's plain but his creator says he's handsome so he must be cute right plus a braid bcs'. Shen Jiu and Yue Qingyuan are based on popular designs but not anything specific I copied, I just went off while shaking in joy over this fic.

Oh, I forgot the 'you' part in the title....

Anyways, this thing's got MuJiu of course, Yandere Qi, Tianlang-jun Asshole Creep #1, Liu Binghe Asshole Creep #2 but more leaning good boy, Tianlang-jun spoiling Luo Binghe in a very messed up way because they're unhinged it's in the blood, literally, and *raising Mu Qingfang and shaking him around* Medic Deux Ex Machina Medic Halo Cool Moments For Our Boi and soft Shen Jiu for his Healer but Still An Asshole, And Where Is Shang Qinghua After Yandere Qingyuan apparently did away with him? name and whatever you want to share about yourself Y'all can find my real name with little to no digging but I'm Mano and I'm a queer neurodivergent middle-aged cislady who lives in the US with my pupper (who you can see on my blog) Lillie Bear/Lovebug/Buggy (depending on my mood) and my husband because yep queer gals sometimes marry people who don't share their sex/gender. when did you watch bad buddy/join the fandom? I wish I knew when I first watched. It was definitely after April 22, 2022 (when I watched Heartstopper for the first time). So probably early May 2022, because I think I activated iQiyi for KP on May 27, and I had watched BBS by then. In terms of the fandom, well...Deepa was my first fandom interaction, and I think she followed me on Twitter because of a fic I wrote. I'm private on Twitter though, so my presence in the fandom is (still) very small.

favorite ship(s) Oh PatPran all the way every day. I am a...sucker for a good canon ship. I almost exclusively read/interact with canon ships. Can't explain it, it's just what my brain wants.

favorite character(s) Pat. Hands down, every day of the week and twice on Sunday and with no hesitation. But I also admit to a very deep fascination with Dissaya. And I like Uncle Tong.

favorite episode(s) episode 5 because kiss scene on roof so good. But I also love episode 11, even though I find it deeply sad.

favorite scene(s) I mean, rooftop kiss. But my second favorite scene, and a scene I screenshot constantly just for shits and giggles, is the scene in episode 11, after their night together, when Pat comes out of the bedroom and onto the balcony, and Pran senses him and looks up at Pat with a fucking WIDE-ASS clear as a bell smile of joy. Because Pat knows at that moment, and Pran has already known, that the honeymoon has to end. But Pat also knows that smiling boy is his. And it's all in Pat's face when he looks down at Pran.

one thing you would change about the show if you could great question. And so many of my first thoughts about this I've just summarily rejected in the last 45 seconds of thinking. I don't know, man. I am stumped.

what are your some of your favorite fanworks made by other people? This is not in any way a reflection on the quality of the fanfic out there, but I am a one-and-done kinda gal with fanfic. I love you all, and I love all your fics, believe you me. That I don't have titles here isn't a reflection on you. It's me! I do have some fave edits though; there is something about watching these vids, set to this music that just...MY HEART.

Wish - cinema

picks you up around 7. you cover the tickets and he gets the snacks. lets you get whatever you want and shares with you. probably gets you slurpees with all the flavors. any movie is fine with him, he just went there to stare at you.

yawns and puts his arm around you. whispers funny things to you during the movie. you'll catch him staring at you the entire time. if you look at him, he won't look away, he just waits for you to watch the movie again. he'll squeeze your thigh and look back to the screen with a smile.

when the movie's over he'll drive you back home. lets you know how much he liked hanging out with you. that night, he texts you and asks when he can see you again.

Keum - coffee shop

such a nice boy. brings you to a café and pays for whatever you want. probably gets an iced americano. gets a little treat too bc he knows girls love a good treat.

he'll talk to you about anything and everything. school, work, your childhood, he really wants to get to know you before pursuing a relationship. he charms you with his shy smile. probably taps your foot with his under the table.

walks you home when you finish. if he had a good time, he'll kiss you on the forehead. texts you that night to let you know how much he enjoyed your company. wants to plan a second date! tells everyone how cute you were.

Mu - museum

he's actually a very artistic guy. that's a part of himself that he wants the share with you, so he'll take you to his fave. meets you at a cafe so you can get iced coffee before going.

talks, and talks, and talks about his favorite pieces. asks you what you think of them and lets you drag him around too. if you show him some interest, he gets so excited. he catches you staring at him while he looks at the art. blushes sooo much.

once youve had your fun, you’ll end up walking around the city. he keeps conversation going so well. feels sad when you part ways. texts you that night to let you know how much he likes you. :)

Amin - baseball game

ended up buying two tickets on a whim. he thought of you while ordering them. he’s so happy when you agree to go bc he already bought the tickets. picks you up pretty early bc he knows you’ll have to sit in traffic. and hopefully talk to him >:)

talks to you the entire time. buys lunch because he insists on being a man. even though he already bought the tickets. :) if you know what’s going on, that’s awesome. if you don’t, that’s awesome too, bc he gets to talk to you more. lets your shoulders touch and pretends like he doesn’t notice.

if you get cold when the sun sets, he’ll give you his sweatshirt. cute. asks if you want to get dinner on the way home. he lets you pay this time. after he drops you off, he honks the horn at you. texts you goodnight and asks when you want to meet again.

Baekseung - amusement park

when he asks you to go with him, you’re like “i thought you were a scaredy cat?” and he goes “that’s why i need you to come protect me”. he’s so cute and funny. mentally prepared himself for the date.

picks you up and buys tickets. lets you drag him around wherever you want to go. likes watching you have fun. he would LOVE to buy you stupid matching hats. either squids or crabs. he thinks it’s so cute and couple-y. takes you on the lame rides so he doesn’t have a heart attack.

at the end of the day, you might be a little sunburnt and nauseous. he still had a good time. takes the long way home so he can talk to you more. also has a nice playlist he put together. that night, he sends you the pictures he took and asks for another date.

Ayden - picnic

it’s soooo cute. he asks you on a whim if you want to have a lunch date with him. of course you say yes. he asks his roommates to help him cook for you. they love young love, so they help him put it all together.

he brings japchae, mandu, a little salad, random snacks, and drinks for you. he doesn’t want you to go hungry :( when he picks you up, he’s so smiley. loves the way you smile when he says he’s got a picnic prepared for you. takes you to a park and even has a cute blanket for sitting on. so excited when you like the meal he made, he worked so hard.

you cloud-watch and people-watch. just mindlessly talking to one another. you see a heart cloud and he thinks it’s a good sign. when you clean up, he throws stuff back in the car and takes you for a walk. he’s so sad when it’s time to bring you home. he asks you to see a movie with him that weekend.

Yewang - karaoke

just wants to sing to you while you eat good food. meets you there and rents a booth for a few hours. hopefully you can entertain yourselves that long.

you order food before you sing. sits around with you talking about life. but when he pull out that mic. GIRL. he sings the sweetest songs all night. would love to sing duets with you. also serenades you with some old love songs. you’re surprised he knows the lyrics to every song.

he stares at you when you sing. thinks you’re sooo pretty and already starts planning your next date. gets dessert to share with you. <3 takes cute pictures too. sends them to you that night and asks when your next date is.

Jeff - convenience store

doesn't have a car. he gets a ride to your house to pick you up. then you'll walk to the store. y'all would make some popular recipes and then share them. i'm thinking corn cheese kimchi fried rice and cheesy fire noodle kimbap. saur good.

makes you laugh allll night. he's so funny. he's a little intimidated but doesn't disappoint. you'll walk back to your place after you eat and watch movies. he'll sneak under the blanket with you and might even link your pinkies together. woah.

when you lay your head on his shoulder, he relishes in the moment, but realizes that you're probably tired. his ride comes to get him, so he leaves reluctantly. but not before patting your head and wishing you a good night. facetimes you the next day too.

it is to this day the funniest fucking sequence of events that have ever brought me to a fandom. i was planning on just enjoying ace attorney casually i had NO idea how amazing it was.

some other faves... i got to voice manfred when we played goodbyes and i didn't know anything about him, my friends just forced me to and i 100% winged it and ended up having the TIME OF MY LIFE. the only thing i remember was being off my shits and at multiple points bellowing 'PISS YOUR PANTS BOY' at half the cast. every day i regret not recording it.

the way we started voicing characters was, initially rin was voicing all of them but when we got to samurai they were like 'im not going to even try with oldbag because i've never seen anyone be able to keep up with her dialogue except like one streamer' and i don't know how to leave challenges alone so i said 'ill do it' and then i DID but no one told me what her first name was so as soon as she took the stand i LOST IT just howling and almost flubbed my lines. then we all started claiming characters to voice and it turned into a whole thing.

the day we started JFA i was really nervous and i just wandered around my apartment alone talking at objects in the worst german accent imaginable. i was so nervous. i was so scared. and then the second court started i felt this incredible rush go through me like i was meant to do that voice forever. and all my friends were cheering. and it was paradise.

i went into 2-4 completely unspoiled and played the airport scene without having any idea what it entailed. i was in tears by the end of it and all my friends were like mu your voice acting <3 and i was sobbing on mute like NOT ACTING BABES <3 the next day i again wandered around my apartment feeling like my chest was full of glowing light.

heaven official's blessing by mxtx (pt. 1)

(finished reading on April 1 2022)

unedited digital annotations for books one to three:

(SPOILERS AHEAD FOR BOOKS ONE TO THREE)

okay so I didn't think I would be doing annotations because this book is so fucking long (even though I never want it to end and actually doesn't feel that long) and I'm already almost halfway through

but

I need somewhere to record all my internal screaming otherwise I'm literally going to combust

thoughts thus far -

BOOK ONE

took a while for me to understand the world but the world-building is so insane and immersive that when I did get it it just took the whole story to a whole new level

also having watched the donghua really helped visualise the characters/scenes

I love Xie Lian with all my heart, he's like the epitome of contradiction and the storytelling is fabulous how with every new story we peel back a little bit more of his character and see a new unexpected side to him

Hua Cheng is also my love and I was literally screaming for all his scenes because to us the reader it is so obvious he is so far gone for Xie Lian and yet Xie Lian is so fucking blind to it

I am an absolute sucker for the trope where a big scary evil person is unbelievably soft for their sweet and innocent love

and also shoutout to my fave the iconic gender-fluid Wind Master, we stan

sidenote - the translation was a little rough at first but the more I read the more I got into it and even the translated writing has some truly stunning lines

BOOK TWO

didn't love a lot of this tbh, but only because it was 400 pages of Xie Lian having a full-on breakdown and like the character development and storytelling where phenomenal but all the while my heart was breaking for him

lots of interesting ethics and philosophy stuff

also - we love Feng Xin, Mu Qing is a shady bitch, and calling it now but those two were definitely the deputy gods in disguise in the first book

what I really was living for in this book though was young Hua Cheng's and Xie Lian's interactions, like could they be any more adorable

also was screaming because from the donghua I thought Xie Lian had only met Hua Cheng once but no, they actually met like a dozen times? and all pivotal moments in Xie Lian's life too?? how the fuck does he not remember him?? I mean maybe it's because Xie Lian just finds older Hua Cheng too handsome (it's literally said in every scene where they meet) and his brain can't think of anything else when looking at him but what do I know

also also Qi Rong is one disturbed fucker

BOOK THREE - where we are when starting these annotations

okay so (minus Qi Rong) I love this ragtag group of misfits just chilling at Puqi Shrine, also love the rivalry between a knife and a scrap of silk

the kiss scene!! and I can't believe Xie Lian had a full on meltdown about it then literally asked Hua Cheng out on a date like two seconds later (also their whole date was so freaking cute and we appreciate ghost henchpeople supporting their overlord gallivanting around with the love of his life)

also we stan Hua Cheng being a supportive bf even if his bf is an oblivious ass

at the same time though a lot of this book seems like it was written on crack - like the whole accidental poisoning thing was so fucking hilarious but so completely random

that being said I've laughed out loud at several chapters in this book - perhaps my fave was Xie Lian's failed attempt at a street performance, like yeah that's my boi

wow I've literally written a whole ass essay

but now back to my regularly scheduled reading

I never want this to end though

BOOK 3 CONTINUED

not Xie Lian being embarrassed about asking for his bf's phone number

“To watch with your own eyes your beloved be trampled and ridiculed, yet be unable to do anything. That’s the worst suffering in the world.” - okay but can he make it any more obvious

after eight hundred years of nothing, Hua Cheng just has a marriage proposal and an offer to move in together within the span of a day? I can't decide whether he's moving too slow or too fast

Xie Lian literally about to combust at the sight of a shirtless Hua Cheng is absolutely priceless

oof okay this coffin scene is getting intense

ngl, I really hope there aren't any super explicit scenes in the book because MXTX's attitude towards consent in the few scenes I read in Mo Dao Zu Shi made me feel kinda gross and ruined novel!WangXian's relationship a bit for me - that being said, I think it might just be for those characters specifically and so maybe if HuaLian do have any explicit scenes it'll be a lot softer and wholly consensual - and tbf, especially with Xie Lian's whole purity thing, the affectionate touches and kiss scene thus far have been wholly respectful and consensual, like Hua Cheng is so soft with Xie Lian it's actually adorable

their heart-to-heart moment on the beach is making me scream for various reasons but mostly because Hua Cheng is literally confessing his love?? like could he be any more obvious?? and the dumbass Xie Lian is just like ‘hmm what are these strange feelings, is that jealousy? nah, we're just bros’ - I love him but he's so fucking stupid at times

oh man, I thought Ming Yi was sus but then the dice game seemed to clear his name - that's a very clever plot device

this whole plot twist is just so well-written and well-thought out in general, like the writing for this part of the story is amazing and yeah I thought it was more than coincidence that the Wind Master and the Water Demon had the name Xuan but I never suspected this extent of conspiracy - just wow, flawlessly done

I don't really understand Quan Yizhen's character but the whole accidentally eating Xie Lian's poison was just too funny, again that's another scene I could easily imagine in the donghua

I am living for Hua Cheng disguising himself as Lan Ying - also this entire story arc Xie Lian constantly seems like he doesn't know ‘whether to laugh or to cry’

Xie Lian is simultaneously terrifying and a complete and utter cinnamon roll, we stan

Crown Prince Xie Lan? More like Genius Detective Xie Lian, uncovering corrupt Heavenly Officials one god at a time

yeah Fu Yao is definitely Mu Qing and Hua Cheng knows it, whether Xie Lian has figured it out too is anyone's guess, he can be something of an unreliable narrator even if it is a third person POV

okay I like Feng Xin and I feel bad for him now, like he's so obviously heartbroken and its sad to think no one knew he once had a wife he loved for almost a thousand years - I mean, it's nowhere near as tragic as Xie Lian's life, but still

it really does seem like every major god or ghost is somehow related to Xie Lian - Hua Cheng, Feng Xin, Mu Qing, Qi Rong, Lan Chang, Pei Su, Banyue, and the other Crown Prince of Yong'an whose name I forget

who knew Pei Ming would be the one to ship Hua Cheng and Xie Lian - like he literally clocks onto their relationship right away with the whole getting Xie Lian to kiss E'ming and then two seconds later telling him to actually kiss Hua Cheng to save him lol - Pei Ming is a bit of a dickhead but we appreciate an ally

at this point it's pretty clear Xie Lian enjoys ‘accidentally’ poisoning people - just waiting to see if this is a comedic trope or an actual plot device

Pei Ming being done with how insufferably in love Hua Cheng and Xie Lian are is a fat mood

also I suspect this white-clothed Crown Prince is the white-clothed calamity in the smiling-crying mask

so basically every heavenly official ever has somehow ended up at demon realm central

okay but Ling Wen is a badass, like sure she murdered a bunch of people, but most of those people were a bunch of sexist knobs and compared to the shit some of the other heavenly officials have done it’s actually pretty minor? also this woman was literally holding heaven together for centuries, like as soon as she dips literally everything falls into chaos because the male gods don’t know how to do shit

I love scenes like this one now where Xie Lian and Pei Ming are caught in the net because its just so hilariously chaotic, like the whole dialogue where Xie Lian is all ‘can you please not kill me, thank you’ and Ling Wen is like ‘hmm nah sorry, no can do’ and Xie Lian is like ‘but I’m just here for the bants’ literally had me crying

red string of fate!! Hua Cheng tying him and his boyf together both literally and symbolically, we love to see it

Yin Yu is too good, and like I know he's barely had any pagetime thus far but he's now one of my fav characters okay, like he's such a mood - also he's so obviously aware of how his master Hua Cheng is whipped for Xie Lian and whole-heartedly supports it and that just makes me like him even more

I also still don’t know how I feel about Quan Yizhen

okay so there's definitely a conspiracy with the Crown Prince of Wuyong and Xie Lian, I'm guessing this is building up to what book four will be about - also I read a comment that said book four was epically tragic and I'm not sure if I'm ready for that, I don't want Xie Lian to suffer anymore :(

Xie Lian outwardly: yes yes the red string is a very practical spell; Xie Lian internally: what a relief to know my boyf- uh I mean my friend is safe and that I'll always be able to find him

and then the next scene is Hua Cheng literally telling him to have a bit more self-preservation (which tbf, Xie Lian really does need because he's just like so casual about literally dying multiple times??) - how soft these two are for each other is literally going to be the death of me

wow Hua Cheng is so jealous but like, tbf, Xie Lian is being so vague in trying to say he trusts Hua Cheng?? like just tell him directly dude

so we're getting the story of how Xie Lian forged Ruoye too? oof I already know it's going to make me bawl

so this is the other group of gods and ghosts who are all a little older than the Xianle lot (except Pei Su) and are instead centred around Pei Ming - Ling Wen, Xuan Ji, the Rain Master, Rong Guang, that other statue civil god

so is it the Rain Master throwing Pei Ming off the ox or is it Xie Lian in retaliation for Pei Ming being rude to Hua Cheng? I guess we'll never know

no but literally, who isn't at Mount Tongl'u at this point? like even Feng Xin and Mu Qing are here now

Hua Cheng acting sus - he definitely rescued Xie Lian and brought him to the mountain cave - okay Hua Cheng is undoubtedly lying now, my theory is that Hua Cheng carved all these sculptures of Xie Lian in the ten years he was in Mount Tongl'u and that's also why some of the sculptures are better than others as he improved over time

also Hua Cheng trapping Mu Qing and Feng Xin is low-key hilarious

so yeah Xie Lian knew it was Mu Qing and Feng Xin since book one - called it! he really is an unreliable narrator

I CAN'T BELIEVE THE BIG REVEAL IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING

ngl the statues are kind of creepy, like it's almost stalkery?

it's honestly perfectly understandable why Mu Qing and Feng Xin are freaking out, like they genuinely are just trying to be good friends - I just want to hear Hua Cheng's explanation for everything

at the same time I too am very much freaking out wow

ITS HAPPENING AHHH

no but the murals are actually really sweet? - oof except the one that is very obviously from the Land of Tender with a probably naked Xie Lian lol

also I really want to know what the fuck is going on in Xie Lian's mind right now but the storytelling is done very well in that it's Feng Xin and Mu Qing who are voicing their discoveries out loud

noo Hua Cheng don't listen to them!! they're just trying to be good friends but don't let them think Xie Lian rejected you when he still doesn't know that you love him!!

being queer and being called ‘disgusting’ hurts more than non-queer people could ever understand - of course this makes Hua Cheng vulnerable, my poor sweet gay, honestly I would punch Mu Qing now too

but tbf again to both Mu Qing and Feng Xin, they don't understand Hua Cheng and how pure his love is and are freaked out by all that they've learnt so probably think Hua Cheng's going to assault Xie Lian - obvs not going to happen though

OH FUCK ME ITS HAPPENED THEY'VE CONFESSED AND LIKE THEY STILL HAVENT SAID ANYTHING REALLY BUT THEY BOTH NOW KNOW AND MY HEART FEELS SO FULL IM LITERALLY ABOUT TO START SOBBING WITH HAPPINESS

lol Xie Lian finally admitting how attracted he is to capable and aggressive Hua Cheng

things are getting intense!! what the fuck does this White No-face want?? like I have a few ideas but nothing concrete yet

also I can't believe I'm at the end of book three?? and only 500 pages left to go?? I genuinely never want this story to end, it's just too good

I AM OBSESSED! I LOVE LOVE LOVE HUA CHENG AND GOUSHI'S DYNAMIC! lmao of all the relationships I expected to love, this random, borderline in-law duo has got to be my fave!

Thus, Hua Cheng went forward, and held onto Guoshi's arm as if he was assisting an elderly senior. "Guoshi, sir, please. Watch your step."

Guoshi turned his head and saw the one assisting him wasn't Xie Lian, and knitted his brows.

"Huh? Why is it you?"

Xie Lian guessed that Hua Cheng was worried it might not be convenient for Xie Lian to take another person along. Also, Hua Cheng wanted, for the sake of some particular goal, to show himself off a little in front of the elder, to demonstrate some attentive diligence, which was why he offered to take over.

Seeing this, Xie Lian couldn't help but puff a laugh, hiding it with a light cough. "San Lang said very sincerely that he wanted to assist you, so I…"

As for Hua Cheng, he said, with a smile covering his face, "Does it matter if it's me or gege?

Besides, I respect you very much, sir, so of course I don't mind assisting, this is nothing."

Guoshi was speechless for a moment, then said, "If you really do respect me, then put away that fake smile on your face. That fakeness really is too much…"

Hua Cheng immediately put that smile away. "Oh."

I am so worried. The one time the snake eyes show up on the dice is probably gonna be the first and last time...and also the worst time

I KNEW MU QING WAS SUS!! I KNEW IT!! I CALLED IT! HE IS FAKE FOR SURE!

Hmmmm Feng Xin....I dunno....it seems kinda ✨️interesting✨️ how you can tell the body of your "enemy" from just his shadow 🤔 😏

Ruoye was wisely playing dead, laying unmoving. Xie Lian didn’t want to say any more to it either and threw it aside.

Lmao the way Fengqing had to constantly remind Xie Lian to not 'lose his marbles' every time he sees Hua Cheng and Xie Lian proceeds to do EXACTLY that lmaoooo

MU QING HAS A CURSED SHACKLE??? DUDE I AM SO SHOCKED THOOO FOR WHAT???? Also ugh so utterly disgusted with Jun Wu like excuse me??? What did u ask Mu Qing to do to Xie Lian that was so vile???? I am gonna slaughter Jun Wu myself rn

I get it, and especially because to cope with the trauma, Xie Lian either avoids it or jokes about it and ya...Hua Cheng baby boi has every right to be mad :(

This was the first time Hua Cheng had ever spoken to Xie Lian with this kind of expression and tone, and Xie Lian was completely taken aback.

Another one for the non-existent bingo I have made for tgcf, this time it's everyone surfing??? On corpses???

The three rode the mutants and flowed down with the current. As if they were rafting, the further down the stream they went, the steeper the hills became, and the faster the speed.

The way he was begging Xie Lian, so full of hope, like he was hanging on to the last thread of his life, suddenly made Xie Lian remember another scene from another time. That time, when dusk was falling, many, many years ago, when he too begged Mu Qing with the same desperate hope—

“You know I wasn’t lying, right?”

How had Mu Qing answered him back then?

Mu Qing had thought Xie Lian’s silence was him hesitating on whether or not to save him, but turns out Xie Lian was instead trying to think of how to save him. And thank goodness that Xie Lian could still think with such a clear head in such a dire situation.

The beads of sweat on his forehead were rolling thicker.

The moment he looked up, Xie Lian had extended a hand to him, smiling. “In any case, although a little late, this hand isn’t extended too late, right?”

Okay so about YOU, let me spoil you then - I hope it'll sense made - in s4 Joe went to the UK started hanging out with insufferable posh people and "met" a guy named Reese (he was a writer and was running for Mayor of London). Turned out Reese was killing said posh twats and tried to frame Joe, became his stalker, wanted to be killing mates together (the Reese x Joe ship has sailed ajsuajahjsjsja). BUT! So today i had to visit a doctor and had mu blood taken for tests. And i always feel so tored and sick after that. So i can just imagine when their gf has to go and have her blood taken. After they sit in the hospital w her to let her recover (i have fainted and usually am bordering) making sure she kays down drinks water etc etc. Also taking her home straught away letting her nam while getting her fave food or sth jist special theh love but usually di not get for her to brighten her day. Big brained anon

Either they’re waiting for you together because the sight of your boys really eases you down, and Eddie’s making all these silly faces while Aemond just looks on very softy at you during the process or they split because Eddie’s lowkey weary of hospitals — the scent and the whole vibe really freaks him out. So they agree that while Aemond will stay with you, Eddie’s gonna run to get everything ready back home, he’s in charge of getting the goodies/snacks, picking up the food order and stopping by Family Video to get your favorite movies.

Blankets are also freshly washed, and everything is settled at the trailer. When Eddie comes back to the hospital, you’re already out — all weakened and cuddled up to Aemond in the waiting room. He’s stroking your hair and your sides and just letting you be, nuzzled on his chest, while he’s holding a sugary drink or a granola for you in one hand, to help with the energy while Eddie returns.

And back in Eddie’s trailer, it’s just heaven. You find you don’t quite mind having had your blood taken because they dote on you BIG TIME. The entire day is spent indulging, warm within a bundle of blankets, sandwiched in between them just watching movies and napping. Obviously kisses to your forehead and cheeks are a given, all throughout 🥺

((At some point, I’m going to properly put into words why I think Scott is such an interesting character. Granted, I don’t follow his story line very closely, I just know things about him from reading X-M//en comics in general, so take everything I say about him with a grain of salt because it’s a little headcanon based!! BUT I’m just so freaking interested in his character development. The shift in his character and his ideals from aligning with Xa//vier to becoming more... militaristic as opposed to hoping for compromise and acceptance of his people by humans who continue to scorn them at every turn. Hell, even the Av//en//gers and such have, time and again, proven that they’re not interested in mu//tant politics and actually helping them! There have been times when some of them have even referred to mu//tants as “you people” or “those people”, or “your type”, things like that (I’m looking at you Ma//rc Sp//ect//or during the Av//X event). I’m just so invested in Scott’s shift to being the kind of leader that Mag//neto sides with, that half of the team turns away from and the other half walks alongside. I mean, when the X-M//en split, Scott and Logan take opposing sides and it’s... not necessarily what you would think it would be based on the kind of stereotypes of who they are. People think of Scott as a boy scout and, to a degree, they’re not wrong. Especially younger, more idealistic, Scott. But as he gets older, as he watches the world burn around him despite his best efforts to save it, as he witnesses how ungrateful and cruel humanity still is towards his people despite everything they’ve given and sacrificed to keep them safe... of course he grows disenchanted with the idea of co-existence. He starts to grow bitter. And he loses a lot of that hope that there’s a chance of peace between mut//ants and humans. His people are still being attacked and killed and hated and feared and he’s spent most of his life trying to change that to no avail. I mean, when Le//gion loses 6 of his personas and Xa//vier, Ro//gue, Re//my, and Le//gion go to find them... Scott sends Mag//neto with them (Fren//zy joins too, but apparently of her own accord lmao). And they’re like “Why? Why him?” but then Sus//an in Suns//hine (one of Le//gion’s missing personas) heightens their emotions and Mag//neto decides to move to kill David because, according to him, that’s why Scott sent him. Because if they couldn’t get David’s personalities back, if they couldn’t get everything under control in a timely manner, or if things seemed to be unfixable, then Mag//neto was there to KILL him to put an end to it all. It it comes to saving Le//gion or saving the world, Scott would choose the world. Obviously. And so... he sent Mag//neto as the kill switch. And that just... it feels so unlike the Scott that people generally know? The one in the movies or even in the cartoons. The one who once told Logan that the X-Men don’t kill, that there’s always another way. And idfk I need to read more to actually talk about this because I’m missing a lot of pieces, of course (I mostly read Ro//gue’s stuff because she’s my fave lol) but, my god, it’s so interesting to read him going from your generic, mostly optimistic, leader to... a man who is shouldering the burden of realization that every goddamned thing he’s been through, though it’s saved lives, saved planets and so on (which is important and he doesn’t dismiss the importance or gravity of that, mind you!), hasn’t amounted to any real change for his people. Xa//vier preached that they would use their powers for good and, through that, they would eventually find acceptance in this world that hated them. But it’s been years, it’s been decades, and NOTHING has changed. He and the people he cares about have lost so much, and sometimes it feels like so little has been gained. Again, he’s not dismissive of the ways that they’ve helped people, but... it seems like, time and again, no one is on their side. Not unless it serves a purpose for them. And that’s not to say that’s the truth, necessarily. But that’s how it must feel to him. So he throws himself into his work- not with the thought that it’ll someday create a brighter future, a bond between humans and mutants... but just because being a hero, being a leader, is what he knows. It’s what he’s good at. He was created for it, in a way. And so he carries on. He keeps helping. He keeps sending his people out to fight battles on behalf of the people who still wish them dead, because he’s a good person. But he’s also reached the point that he feels that he needs to put the survival of his people first in a lot of ways. And ANYWAY I’m gonna keep reading because this is just from, like, a glimpse at him, so to speak, and chances are that these thoughts are gonna change as I keep reading Le//gacy and such, but for now. This. Also, “at some point” is what I said at the beginning... then proceeded to ramble. Which is basically my M.O. at this point

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled dash content. I’m gonna head to bed soon because I used all of my social energy up being stuck on fucking REGISTERS all day again and I also have to be up at 6:30 tomorrow morning. So... yay.))
