There's a disabled angel in good omens 🥺

#listen im only in episode two and i know there's some drama going down but im focusing on this lol #i love that not only do they show the angel using a wheelchair and being ambulatory #but they also visibly show them miracling innaccessibility issues so that they Can still use the chair #instead of just getting rid of the disability #part of my is conflicted bc im like... there's disabilities in heaven? and that makes Me sad bc my disability is hell and painful as fuck #But getting rid of disability in fantasy is eugenist crap and showing that god made a disabled angel is a net good thing #while it personally makes me sad to think if there was a heaven i could still be in pain all the time #not all disabilites are bad and need to be cured we're a wide spectrum and we've been fighting for disabled rep esp in fantasy for ages #it's objectively good my personal feelings about my own disability aside #part of me thinks it's cliche to say 'you were made perfect' bc they're an angel But it's not we literally havent had this type of rep lol #anyways it made me happy to see #and im so glad it's a power chair user that's ambulatory it's important for abled ppl to see that #anyways y'all keep your drama and spoilers off my post im not far in and im only talking about this shoo #oh also!! love the fantasy hover chair they use in heaven specifically too i wish we had that it kicks ass #p

#i havent drawn them in a while ^_^ changed their hanfu a little so they only really wear the top half #and the leg shape as well.. i used doll joints in the past just so it wouldnt bother me drawing their leg bending but at this point idc #the red parts on their hanfu are meant to kinda visually mirror sailor's red rope.. something something bound by fate #and i opted for a ginkgo pattern this time around since i think its suits them better. coincidentally ginkgo also has medicinal properties #and i kept the marking frm when zah drew them because it really is such a nice touch that i wanna keep it in their design :) #and if we're going off the idea of sailor bringing them clothes to wear as souvenirs id bet he picked that pattern out since it #reminded him of xin lol. you can also see they have a little fish charm as their jin bu (sailor has a matching one) #they are so friends to me... i love them sm #still need to update their page a little since i overhauled some of their lore.. theres a whole slidedeck and everything lol #my art #myart #my oc #myoc #oc #xin ya #lmk #lmk oc #lego monkie kid oc #ref sheet #oc ref sheet #oc reference sheet #fur #furry art #furry

what do you think about zora design? about past and current designs? how would you change it? actually!!! what are the zora (and other races) like in your sword of fate au???

got distracted by the second question. look at my little guys:

these are some of the current (working) designs!! from left to right it's sheikah, zora, hylian, goron, and gerudo! these aren't necessarily the average builds/designs for each race but they're the most important character from each race lol. sword of fate takes place really early-on in the timeline, so the culture and separation of races is still kind of loose especially among the humanoid races. the current generation of zora is basically the first generation to call themselves zora and attempt to establish a government or hold any authority alongside the other races of hyrule, and because they're kind of a young race i imagine they're less fishy and more invertebrate-like in this stage, hence my jellyfish princess! (her dad is a giant squid lol.) the sheikah are descendants of the original surface humans, whereas the hylians and gerudo are two seperate sects that both originally came from skyloft. the hylians built a few villages which each have their own distinct vibe while the gerudo took a more nomadic approach and roam the desert in small independently governed groups. The gorons are the most well-established race at this point, having been on the surface a lot longer than basically everyone else, and so they have a much stronger culture and shared identity than a lot of the other races that are still kind of getting their footing.

#no rito because sof is like 200-300 years at most after sksw and the idea of bird people existing in such close proximity to horse birds #weirds me out ngl. i think some of the hylians in skyloft village (not actually in the sky but built way up in the mountains to mimic it) #might actually still ride loftwings. havent decided yet. anyway #the sheikah and hylian villages recognize the authority of & are (loosely) governed by the hyrulian royal family #the gorons & zora recognize the royals as a foreign governing body but don't submit to them--they have their own governments #and the gerudo just kind of have a mutual 'you don't fuck with me i dont fuck with you' agreement with the hyrulian government lol #& then of course their are some fringe sects like the one ganon comes from. who are also basically ignored until they become a problem #asks #loz: sword of fate #< wow it's been a while since i used that tag lmfao #um anyway. i can do a seperate post abt canon zora designs if anyone wants it ig lmfao
