csp 2.0 is out. the current sale is going to end in like 30 minutes though. two new features that i find extremely critical and Good:

they finally made word wrap work how you'd want it to work. fucking finally. also:

multi-layer liquify. hell yeah this shit is immediately useful

#pivstuff #clip studio paint #i have a 1.0 license but instead of upgrading to a 2.0 license i just got the update pass for the year #that way i get 2.0-2.9... and when 3.0 releases next year i'll just get the license for that #they really fucking complicated their release model and should have explained it in a different way. but alas #i guess the webcam handposer / color mixing stuff might be neat but i would have to actually try it first 🤷

a rough reference of my personal Godzilla redesign, Rekkugoji. isn't perfect at all, but is a pretty good reference and overall. notes on what's off with this sketch -Hands should look like a mix of human and theropod. either use a fake thumb similar to say, a panda, or a duplicated 3rd finger in order to get a 4 fingered look. cannot fully pronate, but do get close, allowing for fairly dynamic handposes. -build is slightly off, too leaned for a neutral position. -plates should look sorta 54ish. fairly large, but not massive ala miregoji or kiryugoji. -head is a bit too sharp and bird-y. should be a bit more rounded in the snout. -ears should be not quite mammalian. they're weird earlobes, ala the dinosaur earlobe trend. -Tail is segmented all the way down, and is similar to legendarygoji. thagomizer spines extend off the overlapping armor plates, which are rimmed with scales similar to the neck -skin is similar to minusgoji. a sort of blend of something like the '54 or shin and the MV goji. -quills are optional, alongside feathery "peachfuzz". -legs are build similar to shin, having a low, near-plantigrade looking digitgrade build. -fighting style is sortof. arc-y? has wide sweeping motions in physical combat, tends to slap, claw, kick, bite and tailslap. -atomic breath has a wide varying range, with it ranging from a smog ala shin, to a g14like "flamethrower" to a classic style, to shin's thin atomic breath, to finally the red spiral ray. will wordvomit some more if i spot them in this sketch, will post some pervious drawings for more references.

Redesigning old OCs for models 2

I was trying to go for a chibi model sample but I wonder if anyone would be interested in buying this pal as an adopt/ready to rig model? I could make him in normal instead of chibi too. space catboy/catpal(?) I could add other accessories too, maybe a handpose to show off cat-gloves. or a space-cat helmet. Obviously all rights to the design/model would go to the buyer. I could also make three emotes for only a small extra.

Again apologies for the downer episode earlier this late afternoon and yesterday for Lindbeck’s situation, so let’s switch back to the usual things people ask you:

Any thoughts you have for Teita? They’re the artist for Saias, Arvis, Innes and M!Byleth (I could be missing more)

Outside of their work for FEH, they were the artist for a otome visual novel called Charade Maniacs.

Honestly no worries, it's all good!

Teita is the artist for the above-mentioned characters, they've also drawn Conrad and Ballroom Quan.

Teita has a very distinctive art style, which I can really appreciate. It helps their artwork stand out a lot and makes it identifiable.

And I'll forever adore their interesting decision to make Conrad's thumbnail portrait in the barracks masked while when you click on the full portrait, you get this:

Conrad looks so angelic here, I love it.

They're also pretty great at doing expressions when they're actually given an expressive character as well:

I think what makes their style distinctive is the hair, eyes, and the way they shade/draw the mouth. Their anatomy also checks out most of the time, and they've got a nice thing going for their colorwork, beautiful picks of color and the lighting/shading is good.

Now, there's two criticisms I can note for Teita's artwork. The main one is posework. Now some of their pieces have some pretty good posework going on:

Some are... passable. Conrad's a bit rooted but the perspective is neat and he's got a nice strong stance:

And then there's... Quan, Arvis, and Saias:

Arvis and Saias are pretty rooted, they have their cloaks to give them some illusion of movement and some nice handposes going on but other than that, there is NOT much going on with their poses. And Quan is the biggest offense of them all, he doesn't even have his weapon! He's wielding a bow, is he not? So what's he doing in his attack pose? He's just... standing. With a dramatic hand. And that's it.

Ok so posework was the first complaint, the second one is a minor one but it's the lack of variety. Teita has drawn men and not much else. I'm hoping maybe they can expand a bit and experiment with drawing a female character, I have a feeling they could do a good mature character like Shamir, or Marisa, or even Reina.

Honestly other than that, I like seeing their work and it's kind of sad that we haven't seen their art in a while. I'd give Teita an 8/10, and here's hoping they come back again soon!

So im doing this thing were ill go on yelp and find things to do so i can meet new people and it was this little cute Coffee shop i seen that had 5 star reviews, Not to mention it was in this little cute town up yonder, they had snow already (Tuhh) reminds self, not to wear shorts next time. The employees was so nice and welcoming, starbucks who?? this might be my new spot to do work and enjoy the view. They even had decorations and cute christmas cups, I think im in Heaven lol. Sunflower Coffee shop 10 outta 10 def Recommend.

Scene 3 is on the way \o/

This was a bit trickier, since the whole body isn't shown - and I didn't want to draw everything outside of the camera, 'cause I'm lazy, lol. I also had to take a picture about my hand, 'cause for the love of god I wasn't able to draw this handpose without a proper reference XD

I don't think though that this form of Dandy would actually help my girl, Thilia getting up, 'cause as Luan, he is like a cat: lazy and gets what he wants at a completely random time. But I decided to animate it like this anyway, 'cause I liked the general idea and I also wanted to finally draw Luan. A painting about him is also planned for months now, and soon I'll probably have the time to actually start working on it :DDD
