Do I hate how Disney has monopolized a massive chunk of Hollywood, thereby making it much harder for smaller Indie animation companies to be recognized? Yes.

Do I hate that Disney is remaking their classics solely because they know it'll bring in money instead of gambling on new stories? Yes.

Do I hate the implication that animation is somehow a lesser form of media, and therefore HAS to be remade into live action to be taken seriously? Yes.

Do I hate that most of these "live action" movies are typically made using an insane amount of CGI (The Lion King one is legit all CGI) and therefore shouldn't be counted as "live action"? Yes, one of my pet peeves.

Do I hate that Disney constantly chooses CGI over better alternatives (see: wig designers, special effects makeup artists, set designers, animal trainers, etc) because most other alternatives are unionized and CGI artists aren't so Disney can be as shitty as they want to them and not have to pay them as much? Oh my fucking god yes

But am I absolutely ecstatic at the fact that little kids of color are FINALLY getting to see themselves represented as their favorite princess?

Definitely.

thinking about what taylor album would speak to each of them the most

I feel like Rikki is reputation to an extent but she is very midnights coded to me?? Like that episode where she puts her headphones in to sleep— she is certainly queuing yoyok, question, the Great War (the Zane of it all), maroon, anti-hero, etc.

Cleo is so SO speak now!! She is listening to mine and enchanted after hanging out with Lewis. She is blasting better than revenge and the story of us after seeing charlotte. Her outfits, her cheeriness and angst. She is SO speak now. Not to mention the vault tracks? When emma falls in love?? Timeless!!

Emma is a hard one for me. Her older sister and academic vibes give me strong folkmore energy (mirrorball, this is me trying, dorothea (sobbing bc she becomes the dorothea), long story short). Yet she also has that classic girl next door thing that leads me closer to red or 1989. I think red is the closest to encompassing the full vibe of Emma but I don’t know…

so like i've been thinking about h2o, mermaids and stuff... i know at least once this question popped out in everyone's mind, but like. does anyone know the answer?? ...

so.... do the girls have periods??? if yes, how the hell do they work? where does all the blood go when they are mermaids? what if they are mermaids for an entire day???!! so what i think personally iss their periods stopped when they became mermaids in the first place. like, the uterus is still there, but no periods, which means (aswering two questions in one) they can't get pregnant, at least not in a human way. why i think that, is because out of 50s mermaids only gracie has family and children, but not louise nor julia. and who became human out of 3 of them? gracie! and besides, even if mermaids could get pregnant, i can kinda imagine where would child go in mermaid form, but how would they give birth? hmmm well actually wait. if their own body's luqiuds can't make them transform (like tears, sweat ect), then it's kinda possible? but what if you are in labor while being in mermaid form???? what is the child gonna do... like see, this is why i think mermaids don't have periods and can't get pregnant, it is the easiest option, but also the most logical one (in my opinion)
