There's a good chance I'm coping here, but it seems a bit strange to me to just throw away the Kevin x Hiromi ship when the penultimate season 1 episode had so much shipping fuel between the two of them:

It's pretty evident at this point that Hiromi does like Kevin back, so I do hope that Kevromi will be salvaged in Season 2 (and I think in order for that to happen, Hiromi needs to be let known about the truth regarding H&G so she can give Kevin a proper second chance).

Isobel Thorm, icon, godsend, hero, absolute titan, determined to carry the hurt/comfort genre on her STR 12 shoulders. I adore her.

Of course, the catch is that she herself has also Been Through The Horrors but chooses not to acknowledge this in favour of adamantly insisting on being the caretaker (which she is obviously very good at, like... professionally, as a cleric and healer).

And even more than that, caretaker to a person who is a big nigh-unkillable (but very significantly not, as Isobel herself points out, unharmable!) radiant wall of muscle and holy fury so used to being a champion and protector herself, extremely keen to dismiss her own issues as a bit of "paladin's fatigue" and "flights of fancy" and who is on so many levels, some very fundamental to her being, tied into being A Sword.

I guess my point is... fic writer comrades-in-arms, this is what we call a goldmine.

Okay, after doing the foursome with Halsin and the Drow twins, he talks to you about what they reminded him of initially; when he was a young druid, he he says he was something between a "guest, prisoner and consort," (already a red flag) to a noble Drow house. The house matron took an interest in him, and so did the patron. He says they perhaps saw him as a novelty.

And they chained him up in their bedchamber for THREE years.

And he says it wasn't ideal but also "not without its positives." He did "what was necessary to survive, and a few things that were less necessary." He says he feared for his life- and wanted to be free again, but was willing to wait for the moment to escape.

Like... None of this sounds good to me bro. He was scared? They chained him up for 3 years cause they were attracted to him- and he did things that were "necessary" to survive?

I'm sorry, but this made me feel so wrong and sad- and I didn't find it funny or like a "haha so this happened to me once," like he sets it up as. They made him a sex slave for three years basically? Chained him in a room for three years? He "enjoyed" parts of it- but also wanted to be free? It all just rubbed me the wrong way.
