tried to write more of the side order fic and yknow. wrote about 600 words, lost it thanks to ao3 randomly logging me out upon me trying to save the draft, rewrote those 600 or so words but a bit differently, but still similar enough to get the point across, and lost motivation for the day

just tried to do a side order run with almost no upgrades, got absolutely fucking steamrolled by pinging marciale on floor 20, screamed loud enough to where everyone in the house at the moment might've heard me, and just calmly turned the switch off for now.

right after doing well during the splatfest [minus the times where the other team would spawn camp] and starting to feel even a tiny bit competent at the game-

I did think it was pretty weird that they brought up that the memverse was made from Tartar’s data and then proceeded to do… nothing with that. I really like your idea!

like. does smollusk KNOW tartar? or maybe order learned its methods from tartar?? nope. never confirmed. they just mention that his data was used and go back to pretending it simply didn't exist

im making a fic based around the idea i had for tartar having a palette, fuck it [itll be started tomorrow. not now because it is 8am and i should really sleep lmao]

itll take place in the same au my other fic takes place in, just?? a bit in the future, maybe??? it'll be after all the other palettes are already beaten. so. however long they considered that taking, in-game

EXPANDING ON THIS GENERAL IDEA

i came up with an idea for an extra boss fight that eight can only come across with tartar's palette.

remember concept art versions of tartar? and how much they leaned into making it look like some eldritch horror?

and remember the side order concept art? with the radiation spikes?

ok so what if i had this idea a while back of tartar having a palette. and if the fact that a robot, a "soulless" being, has a palette isnt weird enough. his is also all kinds of fucked up for [currently] unknown reasons [weapon randomizes every 5 levels, sub and special are random each run, danger levels appear more often, etc]

i have been losing my mind over this i am going to scream.

hi i came up with an idea involving the marlin airport. remember how my tartar has a fear of heights? and how marina and eight consider him a friend?

what if, as a way to celebrate off the hook getting their own plane. 8 and marina send him tickets so he can come and celebrate with them via taking a vacation. without knowing of his fear of heights

grizz is gonna HAVE to come along, just to help keep him from getting too freaked out and shutting down

i just got the urge write this idea down after suddenly thinking about the marlin airport and honestly??? i might use this for the next chapter of my grizztar fic. or it could be a oneshot. idk im losing my mind it is 4 in the morning and i feel like ass rn. this is the best idea ive gotten in a while that doesnt outright have side order spoilers in it

Tartar has anxiety and Grizz has adhd and slight depression. they're just a couple washed up villains who were given a second chance at life and decided to use that second chance to just live normal lives [or at least try to]

this is based around an au/fic i made on ao3 titled Moving Forward is the Future. this blog, specifically, takes place maybe a month after the events of chapter 10. dont worry, you wont have to read the fic to understand what's going on here lmao

ORCA, CQ, Lil Judd, and Eight will appear once in a great while after i make refs for them, but they all do have their own things going on, so don't expect to see too much of them. sorry-
