Playing Story mode again you notice things that you didn’t notice before first time around

1. First of all you know that the man in the checkered shirt that shoots Brad and Micheal is Dave. My first time playing I didn’t realise it was actually Dave but now having played the story before I recogonise him so that’s the first thing I noticed

2. Second thing is that Lamar and Franklin actually meet Micheal as strangers before F breaks into his house. It was clever on Rockstar’s behalf to make M bump into Lamar and Franklin at the beach. First time playing I didn’t realise as I didn’t know who they all were but now I do I think it’s quite clever making them all meet before the story.

It’s that part where Lamar asks Micheal for directions to the beach house and Franklin is there behind him too. It’s a small interaction and can be easily missed if you don’t know the story well.

3. If you hover too long after doing the first repo job for Simeon (right when the story starts) you can actually hear and see Simeon show the car to Jimmy. First of all they test the speakers out and you can hear the music booming loudly outside. Simeon than talks to Jimmy about the payment and the car in more detail. After a while they finish and it’s quiet. But that isn’t the end. Simeon actually noticed me and said to F to go because “Lamar was waiting”

When I went back to Lamar, he didn’t say anything. But Simeon he did he told me to back off. He wasn’t happy I was hovering behind him for that long lol.

4. The last thing I notice (and this I find funny) If you choose the loud approach for the Vangelico job (first heist) Micheal will say the same dialogue to the police officer that he threw on the ground. You know that line of “You forget a thousand things everyday make sure this is one of them” yeah that one but the absolute bonkers and hilarous thing is that M still has his motorbike helmet on (to conceal his identity) and the helmet is pitch black and has a dark tinted visor …. So How the hell are people supposed to see him and know what he looks like?

And if you chose this approach T still recogonises Micheal later on through the news (because he sees M on TV) In the smart approach you can see Micheal’s face but in the loud approach you can’t since he covered up more but yet T is supposed to still recogonise him? I get that they are close but it’s a little plothole on Rockstar’s behalf that the line was still said regardless when you can’t actually see Micheal. I just find it funny.

And why does Franklin’s bike have an Italian swear word written on it along with the Italian Flag… I never noticed that before either until now 🤣

What Video Games I think Jigsaw and the Apprentices would play

Adam - Grand Theft Auto series. He regularly plays GTA Online with Amanda (he is better skilled at driving and Amanda is more skilled at shooting). Sometimes he convinces Lawrence to join. BONUS: THE KIDS

Diana - Love Nikki, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Untitled Goose Game. She likes being creative and causing chaos. Her favourite AC villager is Sable. She loves dressing Nikki up into fantasy princesses (but has also done like rockstar criminals). She likes Untitled Goose Game cause "look at the silly goose".

Corbette - Star Stable, Littlest Pet Shop (DS), Zoo Tycoon, Planet Zoo, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pokemon etc. She really loves animals. Did I ever talk about my love for Tekken? There was this post about games you played for more than 300 hours, and after GTA VC and LCS... it would definitely be Tekken 5 and 6 for me.

Anyway, my Tekken brainrot laid dormant deep inside of me for most of my teenage years and early adulthood. To be honest I entirely skipped Tekken 7 due to its performance on my PC at the time and its reliance on DLCs. I did manage to beat Tekken 4 in 2023 (the only one I've been missing until 7, but I quickly went back to not thinking about the franchise at all. That was the case until Tekken 8 demo dropped.

I downloaded it and played for a bit, not understanding what's going on story-wise at all, but instantly falling in love with its fluid 4k60 gameplay and new Nina design (she was always my main after all). It made me hungry for more Tekken and when I was talking about it with my s/o, I just had to check whether Tekken 7 finally received a 60fps patch on Xbox Series X. It didn't, but I ended up buying it anyway to satisfy my hunger for the franchise.

Played it a bit, finished the story and overall I had fun with it. I wasn't really satisfied with the story mode, but the gameplay was pleasant enough. I liked some of the new characters and overall it felt like a fulfilling return to the brainrot. That's what I thought before finding out that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is backwards compatible on Series X.

I ordered a physical copy and instantly got hyped. I wanted to play it since its release but it costed so much at the time... and after some time I forgot about it, probably due to GTA V coming out. Flash forward a few days, I received my copy and ran back to my house to play as much as I can before my night shift starts.

You gotta understand - it was and still is the ultimate Tekken game for me, mostly due to how many characters it has. I played every mainline Tekken game (and Tag Tournament) before playing TTT2 and to play as Jun, Michelle, Violet, Ogre and Kunimitsu in one game meant a lot to me - I really appreciate OG Tekken characters, even though Tekken 3 and 5 are my favorite entries. If I was to talk here about how much grind in Tekken 5/6 I endured to make certain characters look like the OGs, this post would end up being insufferably long.

Many story-based games take up all my time and attention but I'm still playing it and I'm really close to getting all the endings. I set most levels to have my favorite tracks form older Tekken games and I'm especially enjoying my time with Jun, Kunimitsu and Michelle.

Now that fighting games are one of the most anti-consumer genres in modern gaming, a few years will pass before I'll get Tekken 8. I'd have to spend $100+ on ultimate edition, only to wait years for all of its content to arrive anyway. And since a month after its release they started introducing shops and battle passes, my enthusiasm got tempered even more.

But I'm so happy to be back and Tekken 7 and Tag Tournament 2 (and the older ones) will do it for now! Especially TTT2, it's really a blast!

Yes, another song from the 80's. Though I only discovered it just two years ago, when I was playing GTA: Vice City Stories that features Phil Collins himself and this song. Then it just got stuck in my head days after, even memorizing the drum pattern at the near end of the song lol.

I first discovered Angela Aki when she sang a cover of FFVIII's 'Eyes on Me' and quickly fell in love with her. Then came this song and I loved her even more. I don't even have to translate the lyrics to know this is a great song.

The short version itself is already a masterpiece, but boy the additional five minutes even makes it ten times (pun intended) greater! Fun fact: I always use this song as a ten minute timer of everything.

Of all the story songs Taylor Swift has ever written, this one takes the number one spot for me. I really like the revenge-murder theme in it. Kinda unusual of T.S., but it worked.

2.) Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I’m a alpha girl, but I really like both styles! IDK when you get down to it, they both reflect a ‘art style’ to me. Like have you tried to make a MM sim alpha or a alpha sim MM? There’s work involved in that to make it look right!

3.) Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Honestly it depends lmao I make my sims high on the weight scale, even the skinny sims, so their bodies look natural. There’s been times where I’ve had to slightly tweak their hips or stomach width so a cc top doesn’t look strange and bulky. 😑😑 But when I play the game everyone is bound to gain weight and I don’t take certain characters to the gym as much as I should. 😂😂

4.) Do you use move objects? Uh yeah.

5.) Favorite mod? Before High School Days was a thing, I really loved the plumfruit mod by Arnie. 😍 There was also a hair styling mod I downloaded that’s pretty fun and effective for doing quick townie makeovers. Beyond that as a storyteller I owe my life to MC Command Center and TOOL annnd wickedwhims for more intimate scenes.

6.) First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? I literally don’t remember, but it was probably city living because I had the first version of Sal and Eve living in San Myshuno.

But even with that said it took me like, two days to get Pietro’s face and nose right. I hunted for certain facial details for him!! So I’m proud of him right now. 9.) Have you made a simself? I literally do nothing with my simself but she does indeed exist (images were taken long before Sink or Swim)

13.) Favorite life stage? Gameplay wise I love playing as kids and teens, coming up with all sorts of Elementary and High School drama 😂😂 I love playing with big family dynamics in general. it’s crazy because I don’t feature any kids or teens in my stories but one day!! one day!!

14.) Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I have moments where I just play the game to play it! But I do a lot of building and storytelling.

17.) What’s your favorite game? gta iv, gta v, bioshock 1 & 2, the mafia game series, the sims, dreamlight valley, i’ve been playing It Takes Two with a friend and I really love that game also!
