Do any of my followers personally know someone who is working for $7.25 an hour in 2024? I know a huge chunk of states match the federal minimum but are places actually paying that much? Because it doesn't even seem like illegal immigrants could get by for pay that low if they weren't paying into taxes.
Something I'm really hating about Enshrouded is the water situation. In my single player game I have more water than I know what to do with because there's a well near my base.
In multi-player it's a different story. That well doesn't provide enough water for everyone. I looked up water and there are a few wells on the map you can farm water from. Eventually you can build a well at your base, but that's going to require getting past that boss fight I just did. It shouldn't be that bad for a party of 4 but it's still a pain in the ass when a raid boss requires a lot of potions and potions require a lot of water.
So what you're saying is war... war never changes.
This is a view I've been pushing for a long time. Basic cheap night vision is almost blind without its IR illumination turned on. The more expensive stuff is pretty good with ambient light, but most people, including the majority bro-vets, will still illuminate anyway because "W3 0wN Th3 N1gHt". No, the night is heavy contested these days, even outside of war zones. Entry level night vision is enough to see someone else's IR, and the events in Ukraine have proven that old school patrol tactics, like sectors of responsibility, tail gunners, etc remain relevant even in the high technology age.
About a decade ago my buddy's cousin tried starting a youtube channel. His first video was an introduction with his name, where he lives, where he goes to school, and a fairly detailed list of his normal daily schedule. We had a good talk about internet safety.
I hopped back into my Enshrouded solo game for a bit. A lot of my quests are locked behind needing to fight the Fell Wysp Wyvern. I tried the fights a couple times before with no luck.
First time I got stomped pretty hard and I had to retreat. The second time I couldn't even find my way in and gave up. Third time I got in and burned through probably 300 arrows to get the fight. I also used like 3 of the big health potions and 6 normal health potions. Not bad at all.
I used the wyvern head to strengthen the flame and called it good. I don't want to burn out on it in case the boys want to get back into this more regularly.
It's only been 2 weeks but I decided to try it out and there's a strong minty flavor. 10/10 would recommend.
I have a problem with my mojitos not being minty enough even if I muddle the mint into the drink so I prefer to infuse instead. There's probably 2 1/2oz of leaves after removing the stems. I only needed to remove about a shot from the half gallon to make enough room.
It won't be ready for about a month but I'm pretty sure it'll be minty enough lol.
Helldivers just got an update. You can read the patch notes right here.
One of the most noticeable things is that there's a new modifier for how frequently random patrols spawn. If you have a full 4-man crew there's no change but the smaller your team the bigger the increase.
Burning damage gets a 15% reduction which is nice.
The Quasar Cannon gets a 5 second increase to "recharge" which I really hope means the cool-down and not the charge-up prior to taking the shot because the latter takes too long as it is.
The heavy machine gun now has a third person aiming reticle.
The revolver got a slight damage buff and added a speed loader for significantly faster reloading when completely empty.
The Jar-5 Dominator which is my favorite primary got a slight damage nerf which I haven't really noticed.
Bile Spewers and Nursing spewers move a little slower now.
Hulks need a little more damage to stagger.
The mission to raise the flag used to be on the easiest difficulties only but now you can do it on any difficulty.
There's a lot more changes but these are the ones most important to me.
