"Alejandra..." With a raised brow he stares at the General standing unannounced on his doorstep. As she greets him as though invited, it was not knowing what she wanted that sees him stepping aside when prompted. Rio watches her enter his home, followed closely by her two henchmen and what looked like a waiter carrying a fancy bottle of wine and two glasses. What the fuck. Brown eyes narrow, more so when he zones in on their shoes, now trampling their dirty way across his clean floors. "Please, come in." He sasses to himself, closing the door behind them with an internal sigh. A house call from her personally already had his paranoia spinning out, not that it ever showed - calm exterior, giving nothing away as he came back into view. "You don't ever say much, do you, Rio? Why is that?" Alejandra, who had already made herself at home, asked as she sat at one end of the dining table. Taking his cue to sit at the other end, a smirk grows across his lips. Every time he'd spoken to her in the past always made him feel like somehow, whatever she asked was a trick question - now was not dissimilar. "Guess I just don't have much to say?" As the amusement washes over his features and mirrors in Alejandra's, he settles and shrugs a shoulder. "I speak enough. People are more inclined to listen to someone who just gets to the point." That was his honest answer, not too shy to tell her in those words that whatever she was doing here, he wanted to know sooner rather than later. A home invasion was not appreciated, especially not with Javi upstairs and Reina due to come by when she finished her shift.

"Very well, I'm here to discuss what happens next. Now Matias has been demoted and moved far away from here," she begins, pausing when she notes the second of surprise on Rio's face. "Fell shy on those details, did he? Hardly surprising, nobody wants to admit they're a disappointment." She adds, taking a sip from the wine the waiter poured her with a nod of approval. As the waiter is promptly dismissed, Rio sits forward, resting his arms on the table. "Meaning?" Curiosity was piqued enough to ask, to understand what it was that pushed her hand. "Meaning he isn't the capable hand I need running my empire. When it became clear to me that our enemy is not currently the gang here that runs guns, I asked him to meet with their leader. When that didn't happen I did some digging and learned of a personal vendetta. So not only does that make Matias a liability, he disobeyed a direct order. Now I'm sure I've made my point, we don't need to discuss my other reasons." Though she had a few, they weren't relevant. Rio didn't give much in the way of a reaction, he wasn't going to be petty and point out that he too had proposed a meet with the Son's, only to be ignored. Truth be told, he knew it was the right decision and he wasn't sad about it. Not after it became clear that Matias wasn't the friend to him that he originally thought. That was yet another irrelevant grievance, or rather, it was - it hardly mattered at all now.

"Then what shall we discuss, Alejandra? Restaurant recommendations for the duration of your stay?" Setting an amused smile on his lips, it's almost an achievement when he manages to pull a quiet laugh from her. "I'm leaving tomorrow, assuming I successfully appoint a new Teniente." Tipping her head to the side, she sets her glass down. "You." One word from her that made the hairs on the back of Rio's neck stand on end. "Me?" Raising a brow, his mind is already drifting back into a parade of tangled thoughts and questions. "Si, Rio, you. I know you're capable, you run a tight ship as a Capo and that's what I need in a Teniente. What do you say?" Well shit, how was that for straight to the point? Whilst she put it to him as a question, he knew fine well it wasn't - you don't say no to someone like her. In the three seconds grace he had before silence would speak for him, he thought about the risks involved. A higher station meant a bigger spotlight, more enemies, ones that might not gun for him personally but straight for those he loved. How could he protect them all? How would he see them coming? Though arguably these were all worries he already had just being a Capo and once more, worry or no worry, there was only one acceptable answer here.

"I'll do it," giving a slight nod, he rolls his shoulders and straightens up. "And I'll do it better, assuming you're also giving me the space to make some changes."

Title: His Grace, Duke of Castamar

The Duke of Castamar is a trusted and steadfast member of the Spanish nobility, but given the geographic location, he is often left to his own devices.  

Ignacio Matias Falcó works hard for his people and is a clever, sharp-tongued, intelligent leader who was able to carry out his duties without any fuss. 

Ignacio’s main interests are history and politics, besides being the advisor to the late King of Spain. He was also the King’s closest friend and companion for his entire life. 

Two years older than the future King, Ignacio was athletic, tall, eager to prosper at court and dashingly handsome. Their relationship was one of brothers more than anything. 

He returned to the country, the place he most adored, The Palace of Castamar once his best friend the crown prince, future King of Spain married the love of his life. 

Ignacio had grown up on the estate and knows all the best hiding places. He was raised by his governess and the staff. He knows all the great hiding spots since he once upon a time would use them to hide  from the governess and his father. He had a well established relationship with his father and was close to his mother. 

Personality Wise - he is very persistent and blunt. Ignacio takes great pride in his heritage and his Catholic faith. He has a good heart and is deeply empathic. He believes in progress and thinks that sometimes the future needs terrible sacrifices in order to get better. Ignacio is to be well-read and loves reading. 

He knows what he wants and will wait for however long it takes to get it. (Hence he is not missing this second shot at love with ines) He also has a strong will and is not easily swayed when tempted.  

It is important to mention, that he no longer sees things only in black and white. Nevertheless, Ignacio does not consider himself one of the aristocracy.

Yumi standing with Archie and he holds her hand to help ground her. They're awaiting the arrival of his grandparents, and Archie decided it was best for this to happen a good distance from Squid Coast. The night is lit by a full moon and clear skies as wind rustled the branches of the deep woods.

Archie feels Yumi's grasp tighten as two sets of gleaming red eyes appear. Lanterns were keeping any zombies away from their spot, and they reflect off of the eyes. Both shapes imposed in different ways, one being bulkier like a Ravager and the other reminding Yumi of a big wildcat; savage grace.

"Greetings, Yumi. Our boy has told us so much about you and it is an honor to see you in person."

"The honor is mine, you have a wonderful grandson." Mouth dry, Yumi shakes both of their hands, the rough skin and claws gentle.

"I would invite you two to follow me back to the Village but I'm not sure the golems or residents would react well."

Both Pillagers nod and give her an enchanted and beautifully carved wooden box that contains Netherite ingots and Emeralds.

"A gift to show our gratitude for all that you have done."

Shaking less, Yumi smiles and thanks them, turning to Archie.

"I look forward to your next visit. Keep them out of trouble." She chuckles.

"Don't worry, they won't get away with anything!"

He hugs his friend and then departs into the darkness, Yumi breathing out. She knows Matias and Fiadh will not ever harm her but that didn't make it easier being in their presence. She hoped with time she could become as accustomed to them as she was to Archie.

Curiosity killed the cat, and a few months ago what Rosalie was about to attempt would get her killed as well. With dear Kaz gone, Matias no longer held the same sway he once did. She'd still respect the bond that he shared with Teddy, but he was no longer a feeder for the Overlord. Matias was back to being another human working at the club. The man's recent behavior hadn't fully endeared him to her. She still believed that he was an annoyance more than anything else, but at least now he respected others. The fall from grace humbled him even if his name came up more than other humans. What was it that continued to draw the powerful to him? Selecting a private booth, Rose patiently awaited Matty. She smirked, seeing him hesitate as he walked through the curtain. "Oh do calm down, darling. I'm merely a customer for the evening." She scooted over, making room for him on the couch. "Would you care to join me? I can guarantee that I can make it worth your while."

Her fangs poked out slightly the closer that he got. Something more was going on in that little brain of his. One would think that working at Bite would have taught him better than this. She brushed her fingers against Teddy's marks. Interesting that he still had those, but that was not something that she wanted to discuss now. She leaned over, lips caressing his neck before gently piercing the flesh.
