Mythology and Legends of the Clans for my Warrior cats rewrite!

LionClan, LeopardClan and TigerClan

In the prophecy begins they introduce mythology with LionClan and such and then the just drop it never to be seen again as many ideas in this series have. This is to expand on the mythology we already have in warriors and to change and add to it.

First thing you’ll notice is that the leader of LeopardClan is now a snow leopards for a bit of variety. The three cats above us are known as Goldenstar, Swiftstar and Shadestar respectively!

Just like in canon the clans believe that the different ancient clans passed down different abilities that the cats of today have, as well as having different connections with the seasons and such. There’s no one clan that these big cat clans belonged too but different clans favour different stories and groups of big cats.

Kittens are also given their names for different reasons including in hopes of strength for weak kit or a kit that displays similar characteristics to the ancient clans.

LionClan They believe lions gave them the strength to fight and that they have associations with summer and the sun. ThunderClan favours them for Strength, while RiverClan and WindClan tends to favour the for the sun.

LeopardClan Believes leopards are what gives them the ability to climb, balance and run incredibly fast. they are associated with winter and the stars. Before SkyClan was kicked out they favoured leopards for their climbing, WindClan loves them for their speed and ThunderClan thinks spotted pelts are beautiful.

TigerClan Are believed to be what gives them stealth and the ability to swim, they are associated with Autumn and the moon. RiverClan favourites them for their ability to swim, ShadowClan for the ability of stalking and their dark pelts, and SkyClan for

Another thing is because cats don’t know that much about actual big cat species in the wild and of course they don’t know how to use a computer or read, different characters in their stories are different species of cats! Because house cats have such a variety in fur colours and patterns, their not gonna think these are different species!

These are all cannon characters redesigned!

Fleetfoot is a cheetah, cause u know, fast. Thorntooth is a black jaguar, TigerClan is known for their dark pelts and jaguars LOVE swimming. Sunpelt is based on an asiatic lion and an adolescent male lion. Petalkit is just a lion cub.

There will be more clan Mythology idea posts that I’m excited for and hopefully the starclan and dark forest post will be done soon.

The non-cats of Warrior cats! I was surprised how quickly I got these done. So first is the mythological Lionclan, with Goldenstar and his daughter Petalkit, and also Sunpelt fighting the big snake Mouthclaw. Then is the mythological Tigerclan, with Shadestar and Thorntooth, and the mythological Leopardclan, with Fleetfoot and Swiftstar. Rage and Fury are wild boars that Fleetfoot fights. Then is Midnight the badger and Sharptooth the mountain lion. After is the Pack Leader from TPB, and the Rat Leader from Firestar's Quest. I tried modeling the Pack Leader after a Beauceron. After them is Bunny, Pip, Samwise, and Spike. Bunny is from Pebbleshine's Kits, and lives with Bug. I gave them matching bows. Bunny is modeled after a Newfoundland. Pip is from TNP, and is modeled after a Russel Terrier. Samwise is from The Rise of Scourge and modeled after a Bloodhound, and Spike is mentioned by Eggs and Bacon in ASC, and is modeled after a Harrier. I don't really draw dogs too often but this was pretty satisfying to do.

Deputies in a Dark Reign

Little bit more blurry, and this time by m-o-u-r-i

--Hoot, Snow, and Rosebranch are she-cats, Goldengaze and Frogstreak are toms.

--Aside from Hoot, all designs are taken from @ambitiousauthor who wrote their descriptions in Gorsedaisy's Nightmare (also seen in Rainstar's Burden). Rose was listed as a calico, so I decided to be creative with it. I also added a scar to Snowpad.

--Snowpad had to stay in the medicine den for a long time after she received her injury, and many were skeptical that she would have survived. She has problems with memory and concentration, though thankfully is better at planning (which can also be affected if injured in the area that she was).

After her injury, Snowpad's personality changed. She became more impulsive, and less able to hold back bursts of emotion. In spite of this, she proved herself and became the deputy, later leader. Her own deputy was a friend and former apprentice of hers that helped her figure out methods to aid her memory and concentration.

Gatherings are tough for her due to the impulsivity and bursts of emotions bit, but with effort and hard work, she works around it--it is not completely gone, she cannot magically make it go away when she needs it to, but she can better direct it in a way that is not as harmful as it could be.

It's kind of hard to see, but Snowpad is all white with lighter paws!

--After Rainstar, Rosebranch was the first to become leader.

--Frogstreak was leader for seven moons before he passed. He was still young and wanted to prove himself, so when senior warriors and elders voiced their doubts, he lead the Clan into battle (likely for Sunningrocks, as it was the old territories).

What if the senior warriors and/or elders that talked badly about Frogstar's leadership were friends of his late father and he wanted to impress them, wanted to make them proud, and in doing so it got him killed

There were injuries, but nothing beyond scars. That is, until the fourth fight in, when Frogstreak's throat was slashed in a wound too big to come back from.

Warrior cats AU Eternal duo? 👀 (Eret and Foolish)

eret would be an ex-kittypet who wilbur was friends with named crown jewel. wilbur confides in her about clan matters, and him admitting to them that his father has no idea hes trying to start a revolt against dreamclan is what allows dreamstar to know that l'tomclan is relatively weak with it only having one adult warrior. after some battles and sally dropping off foxkit, wilbur breaks down and asks crown to join the clan, which she agrees to as long as she can keep going back to her house life. they become the deputy named berrycrown, and sootstar gets his three lives with berrycrown and beehearts guidance (beeheart and mothbite [tommy] are given their names early to look more like a real clan)

berrycrown is mystified by clan life and by the idea of starclan, getting three lives, all of it. and when dreamstar offers to let her be leader in his stead.. they accept. they lead the clan cats down a tunnel and let the main cats of dreamclan attack l'tomclan. sootstar loses a life and the apprentices are badly injured. in a small show of regret, berrycrown pleads for dreamstar to let sootstar take the apprentices back to camp. he agrees, and berrystar is given a crown of brambles and led to her ceremony.

his story stays pretty much the same, but since they can stay in the story a bit more consistently now they do have more chances to try and make up for what he did. he often allows other cats to visit their kittypet home since his owner is pretty relaxed about it all. they get a toy crown to replace the brambles when she throws the bramble crown away

as for foolish, hes a cat named goldenfin. hes from a long long line of reincarnations, as is berrystar, but while goldenfin has gotten his guidance and has fully come into his inheritance, crown got pretty much abandoned by her ancestor when he became a kittypet. goldenfin remembers him and berrystars past lifes, she does not.

the rest of his story stays pretty similar outside of some changes (his previous life was a df cat, giving him a connection to the crimson tree [the egg], his kids are ones captain seafoam [puffy] finds randomly), and that he makes a deal with XD to get his life back when he becomes a dark forest spirit. eventually, XD comes back to get his end of the deal, and fully grants goldenstar (mostly) infinite lives in exchange for his full worship. and, later on, agreement to take souls or else his soul will stay in the dark forest and he wont get a further reincarnation. again, most of the rest of his story stays the same (sharkskin leather pelt and shark teeth are things each reincarnation of him has a version of, mostly in that whenever they find their versions thats when they start getting guidance)

Goldenstar is a native to Frondclan, with a sharp pair of eyes and a voracious appetite. She's the most introverted of her high-rank counterparts, preferring to stay in her den unless coaxed out by duty or a growling stomach. It's not to say she's a bad leader- she keeps things up and running, of course, but not a lot of clanmates know her outside the listless orders.

Her time as deputy was a controversial period, both because of the inner turmoil within Frondclan and because of her young age, far from a seasoned warrior.

Her predecessor, Owlstar, had a nearly tyrannical hold over the clan for moons at that point. He had appointed Goldenbelly as deputy as she was his apprentice, and needed assurance of loyalty after the assassination of his previous deputy. However, this proved to be his downfall as Goldenbelly learnt uproot his system from the inside-out.

After Owlstar's exile (now named Owl), Goldenstar's climb to leadership was still far from smooth. Starclan didn't recognise her as a complete leader- but still gave her 9 lives under a catch. This catch?

She would always lose her lives 3 times in a row, no matter what.

Her first death streak happened during an expedition into the tunnels, in order to salvage an ancient herb.

The second death streak was (hint hint) caused by another leader, Blooming Dawn, attempting to lay claim over Frondclan. She killed Goldenstar in battle and threw her body into the river, causing Goldenstar to drown twice.

Her final death streak is yet to come, but in the meantime...

Overall Story:

Many moons before they were born, a stray that was new to the neighborhood and who had recently lost his three kits decided to take his grief out on the six new kittens on the street.

He was eventually chased out by Henry, the father of Charlie, one of the kits murdered. After this, StarClan decided to intervein. They sent a message to Henry in a dream and told him that in the future, he would find seven young cats. Henry was to lead the cats to build their own Clan, to help keep the other cats in the city safe. Henry agreed, and it became a waiting game until the cats arrived.

Flash forward about two years, the seven cats are found. Henry was clued into who six of them were by their looks and names, which perfectly mirrored the six dead kits. Henry took charge and helped create a Clan, LostClan, in the city, the first of it's kind. He did his best to lead the cats until his death.

This is where the story becomes relivent to the Dark Forest.

Goldenstar and Springsoul where three moons apart in age, and were considering asking each other to be mates. A wrench was thrown into this plan with the revelation that Goldenstar and Spiritstring had the spirits of dead kits inside their bodies, and as such, things were more complicated.

During this, Beargrowl was having... relationship issues with his littermates, Violetsong and Chickenclaw, as Violetsong had recently come out as transgender, and Beargrowl disapproved of it, saying that StarClan had made her a 'tom' and therefor 'he' would always be one. This lead to a rift growing in the group, as Chickenclaw was brought onto Beargrowl's side by force and the others in the group stayed on Violetsong's side.

These issues reached a stalemate after several years, as the Clan started growing from the small group to what was more 'acceptable' for a traditional Clan. Except that this Clan was in no way traditional.

Spiritstring had disbanded the medicine cat code, and the warrior code itself was being reconstructed. There were several warriors in relationships with those not in the Clan, and forget the traditional ways of denning and training apprentices!

However, StarClan couldn't stop this change. All they could do was wait for the killer from all those moons ago, now known as Burnkill, to be stopped and then they could reset the Clan. They could try again.

However, you can't stop city cats that easily! They survived past what StarClan had attempted to wipe them out with, and many of them were given access to StarClan once they died, though some went willingly to the Dark Forest.

Goldenstar, Spiritstring, Springsoul, and Beargrowl were all killed in the same outbreak of fire. Goldenstar had actually kicked Beargrowl into the fire instead of helping him escape. Nobody would miss him anyways.

Springsoul was condemned to the Dark Forest due to its actions while alive, which threatened many cats. He had even partaken in murder a few times. Springsoul didn't argue, and was just happy that Goldenstar and Spiritstring were allowed into StarClan.
