This was an early Goldenloin test with his original long hair design. We were pushing for a more rock star / glam rock feel for him, and were considering Paul Rudd for the voice. So I did this test using the audio from I Love You, Man.
I think the fact that Ambrosius in the movie isn’t a natural blond is super interesting considering how one of Gloreth’s most distinctive features is her blonde hair. I wonder if his parents made him dye it to look more like Gloreth or if he’s been dyeing it blond ever since he was a kid because he wanted to look like her.
had a nimona au stuck in my head for months ever since my friend lent me the graphic novel to read before I watched the film adaption when it premiered
will most likely redesign their outfits, gotta make Zoeya more metal!!
Just finished Nimona and i loved it but WHY THE FUCK did Ballister stay with Goldenloin after he betrayed him like three times 💀💀 bro if my sword killed the queen and I say I didn't do it my boyfriend better fucking believe me.
Maybe possibly (probably) going to write a 5 +1 of bad habits Ambrosius picked up to spite his parents and everyone’s demands of him / expectations of him being a perfect character rather than a person. Any long standing headcanons anyone really loves?
Nimona was at times both hilarious and sad. It reminded me of the importance of questioning the stories we're told, especially when we only get one side of the tale.
Goldenloin welcomes in the new year this #AniMonday
This was the first test I did for Nimona . The design team had this amazing idea of giving Goldy's hair a graphic "stair-stepping" look, and my task was to try and visualize it in motion.
guys i looked up ambrosius goldenloin on pinterest and i got pictures of a flower. then i realised that i actually spelled it goldenLION and that is a flower. ambrosius goldenlion is a golden flower and ambrosius goldenloin is a golden child
