I love your unhinged energy of your comics it's just *chef's kiss"
I wanna ask how you rig your chibi characters if you use a program or an app ಥ‿ಥ
thanks! 💚💜💚
I use Spine (professional version)! I'm pretty sure it's the same program the Twst devs use for the chibis; I decided to try reverse-engineering 'em basically because my license was just sitting around gathering dust, and I thought it'd be fun practice (this was before I tried to rig Meleanor's cape). it is an industry-standard program and, unfortunately, is priced accordingly, so it's a bit expensive if you're not planning on using it professionally -- there is a free trial, though I think you can't save/export anything in it? BUT it is truly excellent and can do a ton of super cool stuff, plus is genuinely just fun to mess around in, so I 10000% recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting into 2D rigging!
behold...the BONES...Najma and her billion discrete tassels...don't pay attention to all the extra bones from my desperate attempts to control Meleanor's meshes

“I was having an emotion, and I hate that. I’d rather have nice safe emotions about shows on the entertainment media; having them about things real-life humans said and did just led to stupid decisions.”

murph knocking it out of the PARK this episode both as riz (badass lil creature, fiercely dedicated to his friends, so deeply loving to his mom & reassuring her that he sees her + appreciates all she does for him) and just as murph (“the beans are due,” laughing at ally’s lack of written saving throws, reaction to the trap door bit, “so tactical, so late”)

Doctor Who is at its best when the plot is a little bit stupid, the special effects have the budget of a freddo, and the acting is completely and entirely sincere

tease tidbit tuesday 🫧
hi friends, i'm procrastinating doing my fema courses in favor of watching season 4 <3 have a lil bit of eddie vs the hoa
It’s just—Buck is big and it kind of drives Eddie a little crazy.
Like? God, okay. He’s a little stupid over it. You’ll have to forgive him.
He is so big, right, larger than Eddie and Eddie isn’t a small guy. He’s filled out since finishing his probationary year, settling in his career and getting comfortable in the life he chose for himself and Chris. He’s more functional muscle than big gains; his stomach’s soft, protected by a sweet layer of fat, but his core’s solid and his arms are twice the size they used to be when he was twenty-seven.
See? He isn’t small.
But, like, Buck’s just bigger, wider and broader and thicker, and there’s something so delicious about having somebody that large at his mercy, at his every beck and call. Buck has this quality about him, no matter his size, like he’s always ready to drop to his knees and let himself be taken care of, and it has Eddie’s head buzzing in a way that most definitely isn’t from the beer.

You know, episodes-wise, Egon's Ghost and The Boogeyman is Back, aren't that far away from each other (Season 2, episode 60, and Season 3 episode 3. about 8 episodes apart)
Can you imagine almost/kinda dying and ending up in the Netherworld (not to be confused with the Netherlands), and then, like, a few months later, almost dying again?
No wonder Egon was so terrified it brought the Boogeyman back. Sure they risk their lives each day but those were two incidences where death was very real for him, and they weren't too far away from each other
