Another session, you can tell he's starting to understand it more fully now. Always very exciting when a dog starts more consistently offering the behavior you want without needing a lure. Once I can put the target down and he immediately gets on it without luring from the very first rep then we'll start adding in the next step.
Keeping your family, house, and belongings secure can be difficult. No one wants to live in terror, and while technological advances have helped us relax, there is still something to be said about the advantages of having a safety dog. Dogs are naturally more mindful of their and therefore our surroundings, in addition to becoming cherished members of your family. Protection dogs that have been properly trained provide one of the best standards of protection available. To give you an idea of what we look for in the dogs we train, we've compiled a list of 5 of the most popular breeds of security dogs.
Belgian Malinois is a breed of dog that originated in Belgium
The Belgian Malinois is the preferred dog of the Israel Defense Forces and the Navy Seals because it is highly intelligent and trainable. These dogs have a high level of energy and a loud bark that deters possible threats. Constant stimulation and plenty of exercise can keep them strong while also keeping them from being bored. The Belgian Malinois is an excellent on-duty-at-all-times breed, making it an excellent choice for a home with a wide yard.
Rottweiler is a breed of dog
Rottweiler is naturally protective of their owners, which makes them excellent guard dogs. They'll always be looking out for you and your baby, so adding K9 security training to the mix is a smart idea. Even with basic commands like "sit" and "stay," consistency is crucial in training. They will make excellent guard dogs for families if given the proper training.
Shepherd dog from Germany
German shepherds, perhaps the most well-known breed of guard dog and a favorite among police officers, are intelligent, trustworthy, and already have an imposing appearance in the presence of strangers. Bark training is one form of training that these dogs respond to especially well. The sound of a dog barking will not only alarm you, but it will also deter anyone considering entering your house.
Almost any dog can be trained to be a security dog with the proper training. In addition to private instruction, we deliver advanced K9 protection training. Our professional trainers will help you and your dog achieve your goals.

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while here ! Updates ! Bowie has career changed to just being a companion dog for now. He has no drive to work and would much rather be home unless we are going hiking . This is okay. I have no need to push him further if he does not want to pursue the work that needs to be done.
February is coming and my prospect will be born ! I hope you are all excited to see him or her !
Chloe has cyst removed recently and is enjoying playing with Bowie, and is basically my dad's dog now. She loves him SO SO SO MUCH !
Laika is currently being mentored by my new breeder and mentor to learn tracking and agility ! I hope next year to compete in agility trials and obedience trials with her and my new puppy.
I am training dogs every day. My client list has grown to about 15 clients a week ! I absolutely adore bringing my human students closer to their doggy companions.
