The warmth of his body, his scent and the way he hugs you, it's him, he doesn't say anything but it's not necessary. It is impossible that you did not know how to recognize it.

° Barely recovering, you look into each other's eyes without stopping to analyze each faction in the other's face, verifying that it really is you. I personally figured that their stagenames suit them already, and it's a 'mlp-able' name enough that i didn't have to change it! Names like Rio's, Jyushi, Hifumi and Dice's sound fitting me honestly 😭😭😭

Though, i'm always open to name suggestion or name changes to these characters (or the side characters)! I'm still pretty new to hypmic and in terms of pony naming, i tend to make them sound more sillier than i expected @_@

I appreciate how both ichi and jiro have jackets similar to their og ones. I miss the blue on ichi’s jacket just for contrast reasons but it works that neither of the bros have each other’s main color on them anymore (aside from the buttons on Jiro and Saburo).

Jiro tying his hair up is so cute I love that his eyes are more visible now.

Putting Saburo in a mustard yellow is such a big brained move by the designers it’s so yummy. I love the little triangles that come from his undershirt he looks so cute and comfy.

Ichi got rid of his two zippered shirt that makes me sad :((

This is my favorite samatoki outfit ever the blue leather jacket is just so good ugh. I want him to drape it over my shoulders when it starts to rain he looks like such a gentlemen. He does look a looot less like Yakuza though 🤧🤧🤧

Again I would LOVE to see what pants Kuko has on. I love this outfit for Kuko he looks so good. Also his hair looks shorter in the EP cover but I don’t know if I’m going crazy

OKAY SO most of my fic ideas are just self indulgent fluff fics of GenDice and Fling Poly because they rot my brain 24/7. I also ADORE yearning, love confessions, and the most awkward god-awful flirting you’ve ever laid eyes upon.

I love incorporating head-canons because everyone is just so right about any Fling Posse head-canon. Like, your Fling Posse gets a cat AU? Oh they for sure would own a kitty and Gentaro probably cradles it like a baby and then bitches about the cat hair all over his clothes.

finally finished ex-aid (it’s frankly kinda embarrassing how long it took me) so i wanna write down my many but very specific thoughts

disclaimer: fourze is the only other series i’ve completed so i can only make comparisons to that

1) costume & prop design — ok i’m not an expert obviously but tbh i wasn’t a huge fan of the suits’ design this time around. the color schemes are too… distracting and everyone kinda looked the same except for some tweaks according to their motifs. the suits where they have two gashats activated also look kinda messy?? but i get what they were going for. i honestly don’t like the gamer driver’s design at all. it’s tacky and i can’t take them seriously when they’re trudging in with that on their waists 😭 there’s a shot in ep 43 where taiga’s kneeling on the ground and hiiro’s standing next to him, but it was shot from the height of hiiro’s waist so you see his gamer driver on the top of the screen and it wasn’t a pretty shot LOL. i’m also not a fan of the fact that everyone had the same driver but i get that it’s like a console. coming from fourze from which i absolutely loved the suit and unique driver designs (especially meteor’s yes i am biased but no his design is so me) this was probably my biggest pain point about the show. then again, i’m not familiar with retro gaming so maybe it’s just me and that the designs are not my cup of tea. the gashats are cute though!

2) character dynamics — i’m the kind of person who focuses more on character dynamics than the plot and i think ex-aid really excelled in this. imo the difference between the dynamic in fourze vs ex-aid is that fourze is stronger in the group dynamic while ex-aid is stronger in the pair dynamic. although i love the KRC as a group, their pairs are mostly centered around gentaro so we didn’t get to see a lot of other pairs’ interactions as much as gentaro & [KRC member]. in ex-aid, most of the other characters’ most substantial interactions don’t revolve around emu (e.g. kiriya & kuroto, hiiro & taiga, taiga & nico, etc.) except for parado and poppy i think. of course, emu is a driving force in their character developments and vice versa, but the story focused on those specific interactions a lot more. what i’m trying to say is that i like KRC > CR as a group, but CR pairs > KRC pairs (except genryu and genken because i’m already insane about them).

3) plot — one of my favorite things about the plot is the ethical dilemmas that the characters face as doctors. how much truth do you reveal about the patient’s condition? what does it mean to be a doctor? and my favorite: “above all i must not play at god” (e.g. hiiro’s dilemma with bringing back saki who was believed to have died 5 years ago). that, coupled with dan masamune’s and kuroto’s god complexes? perfect. on that note, i love how the characters were written. i think this season’s writers really did sumn. but i’m also not great at literary analysis so i can’t elaborate more than this. side side note: i really hope iwanaga got at least one award for his acting cuz he was fantastic. looked up his wiki and found out he’s an irl genius made it even better. perfectly cast.

I had a dream where a small part of it was me running around at a bigass plaza, searching for old bff after an argument and I ran into Fling Posse at a cafeteria or what, and decided to hang out with them. DREAMS ARE SO WEIRD IT REALLY SHOWS HOW I SEE THEM 🤣 Gentaro was all mother-hen (patting Ramuda and little smooch on head LIKE AYO DAFUQ?? [inserts 'IT SHOULD'VE BE MEEE' meme]), Dice listening to me venting (altho he somehow disappeared half-way through the convo😭), and Ramuda being silly and wanting to order fried mushroom (me and him having back-and-forth of "fried mushroom?" "no it's [le shroom name]" "so it's fried mushroom-"). There was a part when all three of them were just napping on the table and it was so HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

okay ive been wondering for a while but do you have any opinions on whos a virgin and who isnt? i dont really have a solid answer for any of them except for rei who obviously isn’t because he has kids 😭

Kuko, Jyushi, and Hifumi are all still virgins. Jyushi cries whenever he gets close to intimate with someone and he’s just not ready yet. As much as Kuko likes to brag about it, he hasn’t gotten the right opportunity to have sex. Hifumi has intimacy issues due to his gynophobia and even though he’s confident about it, he hasn’t actually gone all the way with anyone.

Ichiro, Riou, and Gentaro definitely had a solid relationship when they were young and in love that they lost their V card in. Samatoki, Juto, Ramuda, Dice, Hitoya, and Sasara fuck around. Jakurai, Doppo, and Rosho definitely had some longer term relationships that just ended because they put their jobs first. And Rei has kids.

Honestly I feel as though Ace is just another Saburo. Imagine them poking fun at Deuce & Jiro for being dummies; my poor delinquent babies. 😢 Though I’m sure they’d both snap eventually.

Although I feel Jiro would be more willing to but Saburo in his place than Deuce. Even though Deuce is probably scarier. But I feel both can learn from each other in how to keep their cool. Them bonding over Jiro’s guitar skills or Deuce’s magical wheel is so cute! 🥰

Ichiro would probably get along with Idia the most in terms of interests, considering they’re both huge otakus. I’m sure it’d take time for Idia to open up & Ichiro’s a patient guy so there’d be no trouble. But I think Idia would have to do a double take: just how is such a cool, confident & manly guy an otaku???

Mad Trigger Crew

*slams hand down on the table* LILIA AND RIO COOK OFF! LET’S GO! With the rest of the Diasomnia gang & MTC being the judges, which means they have to taste their food as well. 😷

Samatoki: “You’re not a man unless you’ve had Rio’s cooking.”

Malleus: “Is that a challenge?”

They’re collecting insects, snakes, using whatever they can find in the pantry then dumping it all into one pot. It ends in a tie because both are equally horrifying. Jyuto & Sebek probably are the first ones to back out.

Though everyone would just eat their food to make them happy. Silver’s had more than his fair share but Rio probably has a bit more experience with cooking. So Rio might win, but this only provoked Lilia further as he challenges the soldier to a rematch. At that moment everyone just ups & leaves.

Fling Posse

Immediately Ramuda runs head first into Heartslabyul. It’s just so pretty & sparkly & filled with pretty flowers, how could he not! Plus there’s cake! He & Riddle would definitely be neck and neck with each other. Ramuda would either smother Riddle with cheery compliments of his dorm aesthetic, or might tease Riddle for being a stick in the mud and make him blow a fuse. 😅

Gentaro will have Azul pulling his hair out once he sees past his tricks and schemes. Gentaro’s an incredibly good liar himself so it’s not hard for him to spot the holes in the contract. Although, Azul has to admit his pretty words would make a valuable asset if Gentaro can get others to believe him so easily.

Ruggie & Dice are like two peas in a pod! However, Ruggie isn’t all that remorseful about swindling poor Dice into doing things for him, although it’s mostly chores & errands since Dice is always broke. Though Ruggie worries for Dice’s gambling addiction, but it’s his loss if it all goes under.

Matenrou

Malleus & Jakurai would get along swimmingly. They both find each other eaqually fascinating & they’re both mysterious in their own way. I can imagine Jakurai being Malleus’s therapists whenever he gets lonely, & they’re sitting in the Gargoyle Research Club together drinking tea. ☺️

Hifumi & Rook = chaos. They’re both the literal equivalent to glittering sunshine, so much so that everyone needs to wear suns glasses & a full bottle of sunscreen whenever they walk into the room. Rook would probably try to push Hifumin get more comfortable with women, but in a soft respectful way & Hifumin appreciates it.

Doppo would probably be a bit too afraid to approach anyone at first, he’s afraid he’ll get turned into a toad or something, but that doesn’t stop Trey from coming over. He’ll offer the salaryman a slice of cake & some space to vent, which he’s surprised at since Doppo seemed so harmless. Doppo might cry tears that someone finally understand him.

Dotsuitare Hompo

Floyd & Sasara hanging out together reminds me of the MCD days with Samatoki. Floyd caught Sasara’s eye because he was reminded of his former punk friends. But Floyd still being a child, Sasara decides to humor him with terrible puns. Puns Floyd seems to enjoy very much! At this point Jade & Floyd are ashamed.

Rosho being the good teacher he is helps Deuce with his homework! 😭 So cute! Rosho can understand Deuce’s bad habits & tries to steer him in the right direction, maybe talking about his own past will help ease the tension. Deuce is all for seeing his Sensei in action on a magical wheel! He admires Rosho-Sensei so much!

No one trusts Rei. Absolutely one. Sasara ratted him out as a conman for criticizing his jokes. Ruggie steers clear of him for sure.

Badass Temple

Already Leona’s sick of these gangsters running around, especially that crazed monk!! At first it was just them being cocky because both Leona & Kuko are spitfires, but then Leona made Jyushi cry so Kuko’s going after him!! He can’t even nap peacefully anymore without a sutra or some Lyrics getting blasted in his ears.

Jyushi starts crying when he first meets Jack because he thought he was there to beat him up. Of course that wasn’t good boy’s intentions but freaks out because he felt bad. Jack is Jyushi’s bodyguard & won’t tolerate anyone teasing Amanda either. They both don’t have that much in common but it’s cute to see Jyushi rant about visual kei.

I’m not too sure how Hitoya would react to the TWST students, since he’s clearly stated how he hates rude kids & NRC is full of problem children. But maybe he can be a role model for students like Riddle & Epel. Since he’s Nagoya’s supercool motorcycle dad! 🙌
