Optimising E-commerce Fulfilment through Collaborative Kitting Services
Ecommerce fulfilment services and kitting services are related to streamlining order fulfilment processes for e-commerce businesses. While they are distinct services, they often work hand-in-hand to ensure efficient and accurate product delivery to customers.
Tumblr media
Here’s how they are related –
Collaboration: E-commerce fulfilment services and kitting services can collaborate to provide comprehensive solutions for online retailers. Fulfilment providers receive and store inventory, while kitting services assemble the necessary components into kits or packages. These services can work together to ensure that the right components are readily available for kitting and that the assembled kits are seamlessly integrated into the order fulfilment process.
Value-Added Services: E-commerce fulfilment providers may offer additional value-added services, such as kitting, as part of their overall offering. This means that in addition to storing, packaging, and shipping individual products, they can assemble products into kits or bundles based on specific customer requirements. For example, fulfilment services may package products together for promotional kits or subscription box services.
Order Customisation: Kitting services can play a role in customising orders based on customer preferences or specific requests. E-commerce fulfilment services can collaborate with kitting services to ensure customised orders are accurately fulfilled, assembled, and packaged according to the customer’s specifications. This collaboration enhances the flexibility and personalization of the fulfilment process.
Efficiency and Accuracy: By integrating kitting services within the overall fulfilment process, e-commerce businesses can achieve higher levels of efficiency and accuracy. Kitting services help streamline the assembly and packaging of products, ensuring that the right components are included in each kit. E-commerce fulfilment services then take over, utilising their expertise in order processing, inventory management, and shipping to deliver the kits to customers on time.
Product Bundling: Kitting services are crucial in product bundling, where multiple items are packaged together as a single product offering. This could include creating gift sets, promotional bundles, or themed kits. E-commerce fulfilment services work closely with kitting services to ensure accurate assembly and seamless integration of these bundled products into the overall fulfilment process. By bundling products, businesses can increase sales, offer unique customer experiences, and encourage upselling.
Inventory Management and Forecasting: Kitting services provide valuable insights and data on the components and quantities needed for assembling kits. This information helps e-commerce fulfilment services in accurate inventory management and forecasting. By understanding the demand for specific kits, fulfilment providers can ensure the necessary components are available, minimising stockouts and optimising order fulfilment.
Packaging Optimisation: Kitting services can contribute to packaging optimisation efforts undertaken by e-commerce fulfilment providers. They can assist in determining the most efficient and cost-effective packaging methods for kits and individual products. By working together, both services can identify opportunities to reduce packaging waste, decrease shipping costs, and improve sustainability in the fulfilment process.
Quality Control: Kitting services often perform quality control checks during the assembly process to ensure that the components meet the required standards. This step ensures that the final kits are accurately assembled, properly packaged, and defects-free. E-commerce fulfilment services benefit from this quality control process, as they can trust that the assembled kits are of high quality and ready for shipment, reducing the likelihood of returns or customer dissatisfaction.
Streamlined Communication and Collaboration: Collaboration between e-commerce fulfilment and kitting services involves streamlined communication channels and close collaboration. E-commerce fulfilment providers need to communicate the specific kit requirements, packaging instructions, and any customisation details to the kitting service accurately. This collaboration ensures a seamless integration of kitting services within the broader fulfilment process, minimising errors and delays.
Scalability and Flexibility: The integration of kitting services within e-commerce fulfilment operations adds an element of scalability and flexibility. Both services can adapt to fluctuations in order volume, seasonal demands, or changing customer preferences. E-Commerce fulfilment providers can adjust their inventory levels and resource allocation based on the kitting requirements, ensuring smooth operations during periods of high demand or special promotions.
Enhanced Customer Experience: By combining e-commerce fulfilment services and kitting services, businesses can provide a superior customer experience. Kitting services enable businesses to offer customised products, personalised packaging, and unique bundles, which can delight customers and differentiate the brand. E-commerce fulfilment services ensure that these customised orders are accurately processed, efficiently packaged, and delivered promptly, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
E-commerce fulfilment services and kitting services collaborate closely to optimise order fulfilment processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience. Online retailers can optimise their fulfilment processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and provide customised and well-packaged products to their customers. These services create a streamlined and seamless fulfilment process by working together, ultimately benefiting e-commerce businesses and their customers.

Lucifer x m!reader
This became longer than I planned but I hope you enjoy! Warning that I'm better at f!reader so if I made any mistakes please let me know.
Requests are open :))
Lucifer x m!reader headcannons:
SFW
introductions first:
this man gets FLUSTERED when you show him 'proper' respect as the Ruler of Hell.
You're shy? You don't know what to do in the face of such royalty, such a powerful man. You attempt a bow, a low sweeping gesture that has you awkwardly bending at the waist and averting your gaze
Lucifer cannot help himself but think the display is adorable, hands resting against his cane, and an overly-confident smile gracing his face. He looks far too smug for his own good. He ignores the heat rising to his cheeks at seeing you stoop before him, fingers tapping at his cane as he watches you with a steady gaze, enjoying the way you flounder before him.
You're confident? You bow confidently, a mocking smile on your face, hands sweeping out to your sides in a little satirical theatrical display? You stare at him with a smirk, bright eyes from beneath dark locks?
Lucifer cannot ignore the heat rising to his cheeks, flustered at the overt display of... something.
He clears his throat quickly and has to look away, your gaze too much as you straighten and fix your clothing.
He will certainly remember that look later.
When he first meets you his interest in piqued, and this man falls hard and fast. Like a piece of gum stuck to your shoe, you cannot be rid of him.
He 'just so happens' to be in the same parts of Hell as you, running 'errands' despite his many servants.
Conveniently he just so happens to have a gift ready when he bumps into you. A donut? A bouquet of flowers? A rubber duck? You leave all of these interactions carrying something in your hands.
The first time you ask to meet him? Practically skips home, and rings Charlie straight away. He doesn't stop thinking about your not-a-date until it actually happens. And then he can't stop thinking about it afterward.
He constantly fiddles with his cane, and uses it often to tease you.
Taller than him? He uses it to tap against your shoulders and head to grab your attention, reprimanding you with a flirty tug of his cane, drawing you down to his level.
He loves pulling you down to his height from your tie or from the lapels of your jacket, pressing a long kiss through a grin against your lips. He always makes sure to straighten your garments back out when he's finished with you.
Shorter than him? He constantly swings his arms over your shoulders and waist, tugging you closer and flushing you against his side. When you stand too far for his hands to reach, the cane corrals you towards him, guiding you into his side with incessant taps and tugs.
His favourite move is slotting the tip of his cane into one of your belt loops, yanking you closer and into his embrace. His fingers often find their way to your belt loops, tugging you closer no matter the situation.
This man is not the best cook, but he simply adores when you cook for him. He always offers to help, but spends most of the time in the kitchen leant against the counter top, sometimes sat atop the counter, watching you work with a fond little smile on his face. He really is whipped.
Lucifer's love language is words of affirmation, acts of service and physical touch.
He'll do anything to be closer to you: tugs you into his lap while he works at his desk, arms encircling your waist as he listens to you ramble about your day. He may not look like he's paying attention, and you keep getting distracted by the soft kisses he presses against your jaw as he works, but if you were to ever ask him to recite what you just told him? he could do it with ease.
Despite the abundance of furniture in his mansion, he always ends up sat practically on top of you, or drags you on top of him as he reads or watches TV. He loves having you close, and loves it even more if you reciprocate his touchy-ness.
Will melt if you absentmindedly run your hands through his hair as you read something next to him.
Loves seeing you wear his clothes, especially his coat. His outfit is unmistakeable, and when you wear it there is no question about who you belong to. Any excuse he slips it from his frame and drapes it across your shoulders. He refuses to take it back so you just continue to wear it the rest of the day.
Graces you each morning with a kiss on your forehead, leaving his lips pressed against you and his arms wrapped around your torso until you wake up. Only then does he grin and lean in for a proper kiss.
NSFW
LOVES blowjobs. Giving or receiving.
Receiving: he's a flustered mess. Cheeks flaming red and hands gripping at his armrests, his thighs, his own shirt.
He's vocal: one touch and he's gasping. Anything more than a feather-light touch has him outright begging and moaning.
Giving: loves using it as a way to help you relax. You've had a hard day? He's kneeling between your legs as soon as you sit on the sofa. Complaining about someone at work? His hands are already on your belt. You have a headache? Let him distract you (only if you consent).
Loves when you tug on his hair.
Call him a 'good boy' or a 'pretty boy' and he falls over himself trying to get to you.
Call him one of those cheekily in public? He's whisking you away to more secluded corners immediately, and he won't be told otherwise.
If he really can't whisk you away, you feel his hot gaze against you the rest of the day. He won't forget.
He's cheeky, and attentive, and is absolutely terrible at keeping his hands to himself.
There is constantly a hand at the small of your back, grasping at your thigh, your knee, your forearm, anything he can reach.
You know he's in the mood when he waltzes into your living room, plops himself directly into your lap, and grins.
He'll act all innocent at first, asking about your day, carding his hand through your hair, offering sympathetic nods and mutterings as you vent.
Then his lips find their way to your cheek, your jaw, your throat, hands sliding across your shoulders and down your chest.
You stop, eager to comply with his wants. But he always shushes your with a tut and tells you to keep going, keep telling him about your day.
He loves watching you slowly lose your composure, teasing and pushing at you until you finally snap and grab his neck and finally pull his lips to yours.
He moans, pushing himself into your chest and down into your hips. He loves when you finally take control.
He's not ashamed of how vocal he is; he moans, he cries, he begs. His voice breaks and he's whiny. Isn't satisfied until his voice is coarse and his throat hurts.
Especially loves when his head is pushed into the bedsheets as you thrust into him so he can be as loud as he wants without the risk of drawing any of his servant over.
The only time he really gets on 'top' is early morning sex. He can't have you exerting yourself before the day has even started can he?
Loves waking you up with kisses pressed against the nape of your neck, continuing around the base of your throat as you turn to embrace him.
He likes to take things gentle and slow, thrusting into you at a leisurely but firm pace, face tucked between your neck and shoulder as he kisses against the warming skin.
If you really want to take the reigns one morning, he won't stop you. Falling onto his back with a laugh and a grin. But oh how he loves laying on top of you, sheets tangled between you legs, bringing you to a slow and steady but powerful release.
He doesn't stop when you finish, continuing that same slow agonising pace, whispering praises in your ear as your hands entwine into his hair.
He always likes to rest afterwards, kissing at you and playing with your hand as he talks about the duties he has to complete that day. But before long he's always tugging you to the bathroom, chirping about you both being absolutely filthy and needing a shower, but that grin he sends your way tells you you'll barely be any cleaner afterwards.

For me, the vibe drastically shifts when I think of the moon knight system individually—
Tumblr media
Like there’s Steven, who’s very sweet and accommodating. He’s easy going but just the right amount of snarky that never fails to make you snort with laughter.
He’s the kind of person I’d want to go to Starbucks with and order a large refresher only to walk around Target for a good two hours like it’s the mall or a farmer’s market.
Steven is Tuesday nights spent sprawled out on a modest sized couch, the two of you wrapped under a large blanket and trying to be respectful of each other’s space as you’re both self conscious of how much space you’re taking up.
But eventually, your calves are touching and ankles are interlocked as you’re leaning over him to get something off the end table.
It’s him standing at the bathroom sink, brushing his teeth and intently listening as you rambunctiously complain about obnoxious coworkers and customers over the noise of the shower running, shampoo being massaged into your scalp and rinsed from your hair.
He’s the partner you spent your adolescence daydreaming about.
Tumblr media
And then there’s reserved, calculated and partially measured Marc. He’s quiet in an attentive sort of way, the type of big, semi-permanently grumpy guy who’ll take mental notes of literally everything that has to concern with you.
For example, he’ll pinpoint the exact pieces in your wardrobe you’re more inclined to pull out and wear before anything else in your closet— and he’ll always be sure to have washed, folded and returned them to their drawers so that they’re ready for you to pull on again at the end of the day.
It’s the kind of act of service that’s so subtle, you don’t realize he’s been doing it for months.
This man will fully memorize your go-to restaurant orders and act like it’s simply a coincidence when the waiter arrives and he’s just finished flawlessly reciting what you want, for you.
He knows what things you tend to somehow always forget to pack in your purse for work and will neatly line them up on the kitchen bar so that you couldn’t possibly miss them (you still forget to take them though… and after a while, he just starts packing your work bag for you. It doesn’t take long and he finds it’s nice that it gives him something to do.)
Marc is Sunday mornings spent baking cupcakes, lining the counters with different flavored box mixes, eggs and large ceramic bowls. Splashes of vanilla extract, tins smeared with butter and coated in flour for easy removal. The smell of sweet chocolate icing filling the air.
The two of you taking turns alternating from dish duty to prep. Pressing indulgent kisses in between his shoulder blades as he whisks eggs into oil and water like the yellowy yolks owe him money.
The way you serenely clean up behind him— a little spilt cake mix here, or broken eggshells there— doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated. The small gestures really go miles for him.
Marc wordlessly gives out tender pecks, against your temple or at the nape of your neck just because. He’s comfortable silences and fingers warmly intertwined.
He’s the man you find yourself stealing glances at when you think he’s not looking, wondering how you got so lucky.
Tumblr media
And last, but never least, there’s Jake who’s hardy, spartan and disciplined. A true product of his environment and circumstances. Someone who learned from their oppressors and surpassed them in their capacity for brutality. The thing about Jake however, is that he has a great proclivity for gentleness as well.
Jake is Wednesday nights, the two of you undressing layer by layer, garments piling into a neat stack to later be placed into the laundry hamper. Jake resting his chin over your right shoulder, his arms wrapped around your middle as you fold your pants and his shirt.
He’s knelt alongside the white garden tub, his hand under the running water from the facet, adjusting the temperature as needed. Eucalyptus scented suds and bubbles fill the space around you as your back rests against his chest.
With his hands brought around your front, he peels one of the set of three clementines you’d brought from the kitchen. Hand feeding you segmented pieces to be lazily gnawed at, soft sloshes and splashes sounding at your feet as you wiggle your toes in the comfortable silence. The two of you exchanging hushed mumbles.
He’s cold nights with chill air slashing your cheeks, a steady chocolate stare he fixes you with as you shuffle in place in front of him. His neck craning as he leans forward, a gloved hand encasing your hands clasped at your mouth and moving them aside— his lips pressing against yours wordlessly.
He’s the protector you only ever heard about in passing stories.

Last two of Henry VIII's wives, two more K/Catherines! I'm all finished with this project!
Katherine Howard was Henry's fifth and youngest wife, and second to die by execcution at her husband's hand. She was cousin to Anne Boleyn, and like her, rose to the king's favor as a lady in waiting to Anne of Cleves. Her age at the time of their marriage being speculated to be between 15 to 21-- her husband was 49. The crimes levied against her at her arrest were primarily to do with two alleged affairs that the king was not aware of at the time of the union. History has not been kind to this young woman. Thankfully there has been recent retreadings of her story, and more scruitiny has been called upon to the older men who claimed to have loved her. She reportedly loved to dance, which is why I painted her mid-step. I also wanted to show off some Tudor era garments, so the lift of her dress is greatly exagerrated.
Katherine Parr was Henry's final wife. At the time of their marriage she had already been widowed twice, and was in service to Mary as a lady in waiting. Katherine was a staunch Protestant, perhaps even more so than Anne Boleyn, as she fervently supported the Reformation, and even spoke to Henry about finishing this work (at this point Henry himself lived as a quasi-Catholic, and was comfortable in the state of limbo he left his realm in by not defining Anglicanism further), which famously almost cost her her head. Katherine is actually quite notable for being the first named female author published in England, and she has three works credited to her. After Henry passed, Katherine made a swift marriage to her one-time lover, Thomas Seymour, which caused a great deal of scandal and pain to her step-children. She died after giving birth to a daughter only about a year after Henry. The dress she is wearing is based on a Tudor portrait by an unknown artist. It seems to be depicting the queen in a more relaxed attire than formal court attire, but, I have to say, I wish I had chosen a different outfit. Since making this design there has been a brilliant discovery of another portrait of Katherine, and if I ever will return to Katherine, I'd like to base her on that one. The portrait I referenced in this picture is dated to the late sixteenth century, but Katherine died in 1548, so I can't help but wonder if the dress is innaccurate. Curiously, there is also speculation that she had originally been painted wearing a French Hood for the piece, which was painted over later-- but it's only a theory.

After today’s lengthy service, a young man stayed after to speak with me. I was quite ready to return to the rectory and rest, to prepare for the more blasphemous things I had planned for the evening, but he seemed timid and shy — always appealing. He said that he came too late for the baptisms, since he was made to keep working today. I told him what a shame that was, him being forced to work on such a day, and how I could make a special exception just for him. He looked so familiar, though I didn’t know him. Before I could ask, he told me he’d been coming to mass when he could, as if to prove himself. His big eyes almost pleaded, and I remembered him more completely upon seeing them grow so wide. Yes, he’d been lurking around, with little interest in the homilies but a clear interest in me. Perhaps he wanted the attention from an authority figure, perhaps more…
The church was growing darker, only lit by the candles still going, and only the two of us stood there, together by the altar. I took him to the font, where I told him to kneel. He obeyed me quickly, and I tilted his head up. Such a pretty little lamb… I could feel him shiver a bit at my touch when I anointed him. Due to so much improper use, the fragrant scent of the holy oils stirred up something in me as well. I could hardly get through the baptism with how badly I wanted to take his newly saved soul.
His face glistened with holy water, and some started to drop down onto his clothes. I told him he should change into one of the white garments, to get out of those dirty, wet rags, and I had him follow me to a smaller room to have him dress. I stepped out as he did, feigning modesty, but I sat before the keyhole to watch him, one hand sliding through the pockets of my cassock. Such a handsome young man, and I was fortunate to see him strip. I was surprised to see he had a pussy, but the sight only made me more desperate to fill him. As he finished dressing, I scrambled to get back up before he came to the door, still wanting to keep appearances of having some form of self-control.
When he opened the door, I asked him to come back out and to the altar with me. I told him that he would be getting a much more special baptism now, and for him to kneel again as I leaned against the altar. Though he was visibly confused, he once again obeyed. Some of the candles had gone out, so I couldn’t see his face as much as I would have liked. “Be good for me, little lamb. You know what you need to do, don’t you?” I said, unbuttoning my cassock just enough to pull out my cock. He nodded and took me in his mouth. I could tell he was inexperienced, but he put his whole being into it, taking me all the way down his throat, gagging, letting his face get covered in his own saliva. I grabbed the back of his head to push him further, making him gasp when I allowed him to pull away. Even in the dark, I saw him try to slip his hand underneath his robes, but pulled his head off when he did to slap his face with my cock.
“Naughty boy. You’re supposed to be good during your baptism.” I teased him, shoving myself back down his throat. Soon after, I knew I wouldn’t be able to last much longer, so I pulled away again to come on his face, saying as I stroked myself, “I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”
He looked up at me, his face dirtied and eyes wet with tears from gagging. “Thank you, Father.”

So seonghwa is dating an idol and the both perform at kcon but seonghwa doesn't know that s/o is having an special stage with another idol and her outfit in both stages (her own and with the other idol) are very revealing so he gets kinda mad
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Idol!Seonghwa x Idol!female!reader
Summary : ⬆️⬆️⬆️
Warnings: NSFW MDNI
My first smut on here, please enjoy, I’m using bullet points for this time! Thanks for the request anon!
Tumblr media
It was your very first time performing at KCON, especially performing your risqué Collab song in front of so many people.
Your partner, Son Hyunwoo, Shownu of Monsta X, a big beefy man, a third Gen idol, known for sensual performances and his good looks.
Seonghwa knew the man, he was friends with him. Hell, the entirety of ateez was friends with Monsta X. He admired them.
But seeing his lover, another idol, L/N Y/N performing with said man, was another story.
Especially the outfit she was wearing to match his. The crop top that reached just below her breasts, a black harness wrapped around her chest, that pushed up her breasts just right.
The skirt she wore, just barely covering anything to the naked eye.
How could she wear such a thing, especially with the way Shownu was touching her, his hands reaching to her waist.
The pair swaying to the music, her vocals reverberating in the air.
Seonghwa was gripping the chairs armrest, no one knew of their relationship, yet here she is, dancing like no one else is in the room but shownu and her.
Oh he could hear the rumors now. Shownu and Y/N in a relationship. Only Seonghwa and her, plus the rest of his members, would know the truth.
The rest of ateez could see just how hard Seonghwa was clenching his jaw.
“Is everything alright, Seonghwa?” Hongjoong had asked, he was concerned.
He snapped out of his trance and took a look at his leader.
“No. She didn’t tell me about this performance. I mean, I knew she was gonna perform with someone, she never showed me her new song.”
His jaw was clenched tightly once again, eyes darting over to the stage.
She had just finished her performance.
It had ended with her in Shownu’s arms, his hand resting on her face, chests pressed together. Faces inches apart.
It really was just fan service.
Seonghwa knew that, but he couldn’t help feeling angry and jealous, he wouldn’t admit being jealous, no.
Seonghwa took this chance to leave his group dressing room and take off to hers.
After ushering out all of her stuff, saying it was important. They left him be. I
She already knew she was in trouble after the performance. She always told Seonghwa everything, but she wanted this performance to be a surprise.
She left the stage, hugging her Collab partner goodbye.
As she slowly trudged to her dressing room, she felt a pit in her stomach begin to form.
Just what has she got herself into..
“Took you long enough. You know what you did, so you took your sweet little time getting to me.”
The door behind her was locked shut.
“Hwa-“
“Don’t Hwa me, get on the couch and strip.”
Her eyes had widened, she didn’t realize her performance would make him this upset.
She knew if she spoke another word it would just rile him up more.
She removed her garments and sat on the couch, completely bare.
Her lover basked in her beautiful body.
“Always so lovely for me.”
He approached her, loosening his bottoms.
“Lean back.”
As he sat next to her, his hand slipping over to her dripping heat, excited over just the bare minimum.
“You must’ve known how I’d react, you’re already so wet for me, naughty.”
She could feel seonghwa’s smirk against her neck.
“Seonghwa please.”
He slapped her inner thigh, “Who said you could speak? Bad girls don’t get to talk.”
Soon enough he plunged two fingers in, not even prepping her for the second finger.
It was her punishment after all.
“You should have told me about this performance beforehand. Maybe then I wouldn’t have been so upset.”
“Then again, he was handsy and so were you. I probably still would’ve been upset.”
She gripped his forearms as he pumped his digits deep inside her. His thumb occasionally lifting up to paw at her clit.
“Should I even let the bad girl cum? I don’t think I should.”
She whimpered and writhed, overwhelmed with the pleasure he was giving her.
She needed to cum, how could he not let her?
He smirked at the distraught yet pleasured look on her face.
Curling his fingers up towards the spongy walls, he whispered in her ear.
“Bad girls don’t get to cum.”
He removed his fingers.
“Get dressed, no touching yourself until we’re home. I have a performance to get to.”
She was shocked nonetheless as he left her high and dry.
She regretted that performance.

Where to buy lingerie?🥀 Girlhood Tips #1 🥀
Tumblr media
Whatever happened to wearing beautiful undergarments while prancing around our rooms? One of the staples of being youthful is now seemingly dead and gone. I love to whine down in my fabulous undies and sway to my favorite songs.
Hopefully we can bring this tradition back! To help kick start this, I’ve compiled a list of size inclusive lingerie brands from cheapest to more pricier items.
(If you guys want more options or help please let me know! I'm a chronic online shopper😭)
$
(1-20 USD per set/item)
AliExpress
Ali express stores is the absolute cheapest option for both price and size…yall already know it's fast fashion most times but some reputable brands from them are (IEUHIA, Wriufred, ChenFa Store, and Aiangelaquin official store)
Not much to elaborate here but they usually have a XXS-XXL
Cannot link the stores but just search up by the shop name.
FreetheFrillies
Tumblr media
Handmade undergarments shop based out of the United Kingdom, features both religious and Victorian imagery on their clothing.
Sustainably at a reasonable price is one of their main concerns and they take pride in hand sewing each and every one of their items before they are shipped to you!
Material includes cotton, satin and elastics.
Sizes ranges from UK8/10 to UK16/18
ShopCryBunni
Tumblr media
Small indie early brand ran by a student in Salt Lake, Utah! Very simple designs usually solid color or floral garments with a small bow or a flower on top. Very affordable.
Shipping is quick and punctual usually taking 2-3 days on average inside of the US. Internal customers can take up to 2-3weeks.
Sizes range from xxs-L US standard and does not make custom sizing outside of that at the moment.
$$
(30-70 USD per set/item)
AKAMYDINH
Tumblr media
Small fashion label based in Saigon, Vietnam. They repurpose factory scraps and excess to make their brand as sustainable and ethical as possible! Their lingerie is simple solid colored bikini style sets with a frill finish. Occasionally with a cherry, bow, or floral embellishment.
XXS-XXL is the sizes offered with a additional custom sizing upon request!
70% of their items are made to order while the other 30% is made by fairly paid seamstresses.
Quick and helpful customer service with an outstanding 4.8 stars. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for simple yet ethical clothing.
Besos Biquinis
Tumblr media
Famous tik tok brand that is known for their super cute vintage day of the week panties packs!
Their other items are more expensive like the 100+ range but most of their undies are $40-70 USD
Sizining is XS to XL usually. However, only going up to L in bottoms. Biggest cup size is C-DD cup without band specifics.
Unsure about custom sizing but I’d assume not? It’s always worth it to email! :)
Cute packaging and great customers service from what I’ve hear they also send out PRs soooo….if you have a big following definitely worth checking them out
ShesArMermaidCat
Tumblr media
An absolute classic in the coquette community! She makes Dolores haze inspired garments with bloomers and cupcake style tops. The sets are usually solid colored or gingham! Perfect for the more modest Americana girlies.
She’s a gem and has amazing communication. You can also request a custom piece or size.
Each and every set is made to order and is handmade right out of California. 10/10 definitely recommend this shop for every Lolita!
FeelingVaugeVintage
Tumblr media
Exotic dancer style lingerie brand. This is for the girls who are secy workers or love that style of lingerie. Much more form fitting, skimpy and trashy which I love and I know there's girls who love it too!
Handmade brand based off of esty who is always running sales. Currently offer 20% off when you buy two and 30% off when you buy three! Great deal an already cheap brand.
Sizing is a standard S-L but with any handmade brand just message the seller and ask if they can make a custom size just for you ;) they are a very sweet and punctual seller and they have well over 16,000 sales and a 4.8 star! Definitely recommend!

Handmade sustainable brand that sells tons of babydoll and lolita style clothes. This business is ran by Sheana Hinesley and is a fairly popular place to shop both on Depop and Etsy! They use standard sizing US S - L and is open to doing custom sizing
I do own an outfit for them and well made and I do think it’s worth the price! Fair warning is that shipping takes. 3 months to a year….. And at times their communication is less than the standard.
Would mainly suggest either buying second hand or through their Etsy for the best experience possible!

Love for lemons 🍋
Extremely well known sister brand of Victoria’s Secret that has absolute gorgeous pieces. Their pieces are packed with laces, frills, and florals! Perfect for a more mature, classy coquette.
Unfortunately not as size or comfort inclusive as our last pick but they do have sizes ranging from. XXS-2X and the cups can go up to a big as 38DDD but unfortunately that’s usually for select items such as teddies :/
One the bright side items such as garters, shoes, skirts, and swimwear is available compared to other brands. International shipping is available as well as sales and discounts. P.s. there’s a sale going on for $30 USD on select items.
Good customer services with no custom sizing however you should always mail before buying if unsure! I’d still pick lemons over Victoria’s any day! Tea.

Sweet Secret (Levi Ackerman x Reader)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Levi Ackerman x F! Reader CEO Levi Ackerman coming in hot. I've been wanting to write a CEO Levi/Sugar daddy Levi story for a hot minute. Enjoy! Summary: You needed a job. Ackerman Inc was hiring for an in house assistant for none other than the CEO: Levi Ackerman. He's known to be essentially the worst to work with, you decide to take the job and take on the challenge that is Levi Ackerman. Will your relationship remain professional, or will their be monetary value added to the stakes? Or possibly even... love? ao3 Chapter Eight: Patience
WARNING: smut ahead, you've been warned!
After your post-tan shower, you start to get ready. Levi is lounging on the bed with his book, sipping a cup of tea that he ordered from room service. His hands are over the top of the cup, letting the heat hit his palm.
“I don’t know what to wear.” You sift through your luggage. “What’s the dress code for tonight?”
“You have to wear a dress.” Levi said without looking up.
“The restaurant said that?”
“I want you to wear a dress.” He finally looked at you as he look a sip.
“Well what if I didn’t bring a dress?”
“I brought one for you.” Levi placed the cup on the side table. He strides to his bag, pulling out a black box with a black satin bow.
“I can’t accept this.” You push the box away.
“You can and you will.” Levi pushed the box into your chest slightly.
You gently pull on the ribbon, not wanting to tear it. When you open the box, you spot your favorite color - sage green.
As you lift the fabric, a square neck corset dress is revealed. There’s a thigh high slit which gives away why Levi bought it for you. The man has a thing for your thick, plush thighs.
“I don’t have heels to match this.”
“Shut up.” Levi pulled out another box that contained light pink suede heels. “You talk too damn much.”
(See the dress here)
You sigh as you look down at your new garments. You can’t help but wonder if you deserve this.
Where you come from - no one gets out. It’s the same cycle over and over again. But you were determined to leave. You never touched a single drug. You drink alcohol sparingly.
You were not going to be like your parents. Specifically, your mother.
Once your hair and makeup is done, you put on your dress and heels. The dress fits your curves perfectly while also accentuating your chest. The heels are gorgeous and compliment your new tan well. You watch your long, wavy hair cascade down your back as you finish getting ready. A spritz of your favorite vanilla perfume is the cherry on top.
When you step out of the bathroom, Levi is putting on a watch. A very expensive looking one. It’s simple, but elegant.
Just like him.
When he looks at you, he swears there’s an angel in front of him.
He’s wearing a sage green suit with a white dress shirt underneath. Two buttons are undone, revealing his clavicle.
You just told him your favorite color… how did have these already? Coincidence?
“You clean up nice.” You past Levi to grab your purse.
“I guess I’ll return the compliment.” He brushed a piece of lint off his sleeve.
“I told you today my favorite color was THIS specific shade of green.” You pinch the fabric at his wrists.
“You did.”
“So… you just also like this color?”
“No. I already knew your favorite color.”
“And you just… played dumb?”
“I absolutely did.” Levi peers through his front fringe to look at you. “I can’t let you in on all of my secrets now can I?”
_________________
After the delicious dinner, you can’t help but feel tension between you and Levi.
Sexual tension.
Tonight you wanted to act on it.
“Levi can you grab the champagne please? And two glasses?”
Levi, without a word or sarcastic remark, grabbed the bottle along with two glasses. You make your way to the balcony where there are two lounge chairs and a beautiful view of the water.
It’s so… private. Peaceful.
Levi poured your glass and sat next to you.
“Cheers to… this conference.” You smile, holding up your glass. Levi nods, clinking his glass gently with yours. You both take a sip while staring at each other.
As you set your glass down, you hold your gaze on Levi. His eyes wander to your chest, then your thighs, down to your legs.
“Do you like what you see, Levi?” Your voice is lower - almost at a whisper.
“I like when you’re obedient and where what I ask.” Levi’s half lidded eyes met yours.
“What else do you want me to do?” You press your elbow to your knee and rest your chin on your palm. Levi now has a full view of your chest.
“I want you sit there and let me taste you.”
You’re almost surprised by the words that are coming out of his mouth. “Let’s go inside th-“ You try to stand up.
“I said, sit there and let me taste you.” Levi stands up and moves closer to you. He puts his hands on either side of you on the armrests, letting his body hover over yours. “Do I make myself clear?”
“Yes.” You gulp. You push yourself forward to press your lips to his, but he pulls away.
“Patience.” He whispers as his hand meets your cheek. “Do I have to teach you a lesson already?”
“No.” You shake your head, your breath shaky.
In silence, Levi presses his lips to your cheek, trailing kisses to your ear down to your neck. You feel him bite gently while simultaneously sucking on the spot.
“No marks.” You push his chest slightly.
“You said not where people can see.” He growled.
“People see my neck every day, Levi.” You throw your head back as pleasure fills your veins.
Levi pulls himself off of your neck, planting kisses down to the top of your breasts. “These are so beautiful.” His large hand caresses your skin. He begins to knead one tit in one hand, while pulling down the top of your dress with the other.
You feel your core heat up, undoubtably soaking. Levi takes the nipple in his mouth, sucking on the nub gently. While he sucks, his other hand massages your other tit. Soft moans leave your mouth as he makes home in your breasts.
“Levi, please.” You whine as you dig your fingers in his hair. You drag the pads of your fingers along his uppercut, pulling him into you.
“Please what? Use your words.” He grumbled against your skin. He began to bite down on your plump tit, leaving purple marks. He then moved on to the other breast, careful not to give one more attention than the other.
“Kiss me.” You sigh, the skin between your thighs getting coated with your arousal.
“Please.” Levi looks up at you through his blue-grey eyes.
“Please kiss me Levi. Please, please, please.” You whine again, almost unable to control yourself.
“What a spoiled brat I’ve created.” Levi brings his lips to yours, placing soft kisses along your mouth. He pays special attention to your bottom lip, begging for his tongue to enter.
“Mm.” You moan against him as you wrap your arms around his neck. Levi tastes like fresh mint as his tongue dances with yours.
“I’ve been thinking about your thighs all day.” Levi groaned against you as he places his hand on your right thigh. “How they feel around my body, pressed against my ears -“ He pulls himself off of you to kneel on the ground in front of you.
Your breath hitches as he lowers himself so your legs drape over him.
“Let me take off my shoes,” You reach for the strap of your heels.
“No. Those stay on.” Levi pushed your hand away.
You lean back as Levi positions himself in front of you. His hands run a trail up to your dress, pushing it so it pools around your waist, revealing your lace thong.
“This is pretty.” Levi’s fingers pad over the fabric. “Too bad they’ll be getting torn.” Levi grasps the string and pulls it quickly, snapping the undergarment.
“Levi!”
“I’ll buy you more.” He threw the underwear on the ground.
You look forward, watching the waves crash onto the shore. The air smells like coconuts and freshly cut grass.
Levi presses his palms to each of your thighs, bringing his mouth closer to your pussy. He kisses the plush flesh of your inner thighs as he gets closer to your core. You instantly press your thighs against his head at the touch.
“Such a pretty pussy.” Levi whispers. “I bet it tastes as good as it looks.”
Levi presses soft kisses to your slit, letting his tongue slide past your folds. Your eyes roll back and you moan, gripping onto his raven locks.
“So wet already.” He hummed as he inserted two fingers inside of you, his tongue finding your clit and focusing on it. While is tongue twirled around your sensitive nub, you feel your insides pulsate. Your hands press Levi into you more until he stops all movement.
You open your eyes and look down at him, but he’s already staring at you.
“You can’t cum until I say so.” The vibration of his voice against your pussy making your toes curl.
“But Levi-“ You whine. “I want to cum.”
“Patience.” Levi reiterated when he said before. “You will not cum until I say so.”
You nod, even though the last thing you want to do is listen to him. His fingers start to move again as he sucks on your clit gently, letting his tongue dance around the nub.
“Levi,” You moan loudly. Fuck it if your neighbors can hear you.
“Say my name again.” Levi hummed, his fingers pumping in and out of you at a fast pace.
“Levi, please.” A mixture of moans and almost inaudible noises escape your mouth.
“Tell me you want to cum.”
“I want to come, Levi. Please.” You beg.
“Go.” Levi buried his lips in your pussy, his hand gripping your thigh while the other pumped fingers into you.
You feel your pussy clench around him as you chase that high. A wave of ecstasy fills your body as the world went dark. You don’t know if your eyes are open or closed at this point.
Levi devoured you through your high, letting your juices cover his face. “What a good girl. Can you come again for me?” Levi continued to suck on your clit, adding a third finger inside of you. He pumps them quickly as he moves one hand to your breast, massaging it gently.
“Fuck, Levi.” You moan, your toes curling as you press your thighs into the sides of his face. Another wave comes, catching you by surprise. You’ve never came twice before within the same session.
Levi smiles against your heat before pulling away. “You taste so good, I had to have seconds.”
Your breath is erratic as your legs shake. Levi places soft kisses on your thighs as he makes his way up to your mouth.  Your lips are pouty and swollen from his kisses earlier, which makes him smile. He’s left you… a mess. Bruised and eaten.
“Taste yourself.” Levi presses a gentle kiss to your lips. You moan at the contact, involuntarily. “You made such a mess on these chairs.”
“Levi, I want to feel you.” You pull him down to you.
“Not yet.” He whispers, kissing your cheek.
“When?”
“Patience, brat.”

A Tangle of Souls - Chapter 1
Tumblr media
From her perch at the window of a lonely tower in Casterly Rock, a girl with long silver hair watched as the first light of dawn began to spill over the horizon. The room around her was bathed in a soft, golden glow as the sun slowly rose, painting the sky in hues of pink and gold.
With an air of quiet contemplation, she observed the world outside coming to life. Faint echoes of castle chatter floated up through the still morning air, carried on the breeze like distant whispers.
The clatter of armour and the rhythmic hoofbeats of horses echoed from the courtyard below, punctuated by the occasional shout of a soldier going about his duties.
From her lofty vantage point, the girl could see tiny figures moving about, going about their daily tasks within the castle walls. Servants hurried across the grounds, preparing for the day ahead, while merchants arrived with carts laden with goods for trade.
Amidst the distant sounds of activity, snippets of conversation drifted up to the tower. Laughter from the kitchens mingled with the more serious tones of knights discussing strategy, creating a symphony of voices that underscored the solitude of the girl above.
Despite the distance separating her from the bustling life below, the girl felt a sense of connection to the world outside her tower. It was a reminder that even in her solitude, she was still a part of something larger, a silent observer of the ebb and flow of life within Casterly Rock.
As the sun climbed higher, its warm rays illuminated the girl's silver hair, casting it in a halo of light. She stood there, a solitary figure in the tower, captivated by the beauty unfolding before her.
In the distance, the sound of waves crashing against the cliffs mingled with the gentle rustle of the wind. It was a serene moment, a brief respite from the chaos of the world below.
Lost in the beauty of the sunrise, the girl felt a sense of peace wash over her. For a moment, she was content to simply be, to watch as the world woke up around her.
As the sun reached its zenith, she tore her gaze away from the window, reluctantly turning her back on the breathtaking sight before her. But the memory of the sunrise, and the sense of tranquillity it brought her, would stay with her long after the morning had passed.
The silence was gently broken by the soft creak of the door. A maid, her steps light and purposeful, entered the chamber, carrying a tray laden with breakfast delicacies.
Her presence brought with it a comforting familiarity, a routine in the otherwise solitary existence of the girl in the tower. With gentle hands, the maid set the tray down on a nearby table, arranging the dishes with care as if presenting a feast fit for royalty.
"Good morning, little lady," the maid said with a warm smile, her voice a gentle melody in the stillness of the room.
The girl turned from her perch at the window, her silver hair catching the sunlight as she acknowledged the maid with a nod. Though she seldom spoke, her eyes held a quiet gratitude for Tysa's companionship, a silent acknowledgment of the comfort her presence brought.
With practiced efficiency, Tysa went about her tasks, pouring a cup of steaming tea and arranging a plate of freshly baked bread and fruit. She moved with a grace born of years of service, each movement fluid and precise as she attended to the girl's needs.
As the girl ate, the maid stood nearby, her watchful gaze never faltering. She offered quiet words of encouragement, her voice a soothing balm to the girl's solitude.
Once breakfast was finished, Tysa turned her attention to dressing the girl, selecting garments in shades of silver and blue, their soft textures a comforting embrace against the girl's skin.
With gentle hands, Tysa helped the girl into her attire, smoothing out wrinkles and adjusting folds with meticulous attention to detail. Each movement was performed with a tenderness born of affection, a silent gesture of devotion to the girl in the tower.
As she worked, she shared snippets of gossip from the castle below, tales of love and intrigue that echoed through the stone walls.
And though the girl remained silent, her lavender eyes sparkled with quiet amusement at the maid's stories, a fleeting glimpse of the joy that her presence brought.
Once the girl was dressed, Tysa stepped back, a satisfied smile gracing her lips. "You look beautiful, Jaena," she said, her words a gentle affirmation of the girl's worth.
With a final nod of gratitude, the girl returned her attention to the window, her gaze once again drawn to the world outside. And as she watched the sunrise paint the sky in hues of pink and gold, she knew that she was not truly alone, for in the maid's presence, she found solace and companionship in her secluded tower atop Casterly Rock.
"I am told your lessons will be postponed for the day." Tysa sighed, knowing that besides her presence, Jaena looked forward to her Valyrian and history lessons. Maester Rewan had come down with some sort of flu, however, and would be unable to attend the girl.
"Quite alright," Jaena reached for the scraps of paper underneath her bed. "Today will be a painting day, then."
The heavy oak door creaked softly as Lord Jason Lannister slipped into the dimly lit chamber. Shadows danced along the stone walls, casting eerie shapes that seemed to whisper secrets of their own.
Tysa smiled fondly as she gathered the breakfast trays and bid the lady a good day; eyes catching on the overfull wall sketches from Jaena's childhood. Her favourites were the coloured ones depicting the dragons - ones Jaena said came to her in dreams. Tysa hoped to all Seven Gods, that one day Jaena's dreams would meet her back.
Tumblr media
Through a small peephole hidden behind a tapestry, he surveyed the girl he had taken so many years ago. She sat against the post of her bed, bathed in the soft glow of fading daylight filtering through the windowpane. A charcoal sketchbook lay open in her lap, the pages filled with delicate outlines of the coastline, each stroke a testament to her talent.
Lord Jason watched her with a mixture of admiration and frustration. She had been intended as his secret weapon, a pawn in the intricate game of thrones that defined their world. Yet, as time wore on, he couldn't shake the nagging realization that she possessed a potential far beyond what he had initially perceived.
Countless hours had been invested in her education, shaping her mind with the complex knowledge of High Valyrian and the labyrinthine lore of Westeros. Yet, despite his efforts to mould her into the perfect instrument of manipulation, she had found solace in the seemingly trivial pursuit of art.
As he watched her frown at a particular stroke of charcoal, Lord Jason's thoughts churned with possibilities. With King Viserys' health waning and the power struggle for the Iron Throne looming on the horizon, a new opportunity presented itself. And in the delicate dance of alliances and betrayals that defined courtly politics, the girl he once stole could prove to be a valuable asset.
The girl continued with her artwork, her focus consumed by the intricate lines and curves that danced across the page. Oblivious to the machinations unfolding around her, she poured her soul into each stroke, finding solace and expression in the creative process.
And as the sun hung low in the sky, casting its buttery light upon the chamber, Lord Jason knew that the wheels of fate were set in motion. In the depths of his thoughts, ambition reigned supreme, and he resolved to do whatever was necessary to secure his place in the annals of history.
He envisioned the girl's presence at court, a silent yet potent force lurking in the shadows, her very existence a whispered threat to those who would dare oppose his ambitions.
As the first light of dusk began to filter through the window, the girl finally set aside her sketchbook with a satisfied sigh. Stretching languidly, she rose from her seat and moved to the washbasin, splashing cool water on her face to chase away the remnants of dark charcoal.
It was then that Lord Jason stepped forward from the darkness, his presence causing her to startle slightly. She turned to face him, her expression a curious mixture of surprise and wariness.
"Lord Jason," she greeted him, her voice soft yet tinged with a hint of caution. "What brings you to my chambers at such a late hour?"
Lord Jason offered her a tight-lipped smile, his gaze studying her intently. "I trust your day was well, my dear?"
She nodded, though there was a flicker of uncertainty in her eyes. "As well as can be expected," she replied. "But forgive me, I must ask again, what brings you here?"
Lord Jason hesitated for a moment, weighing his words carefully. "I wished to discuss a matter of great importance with you," he said finally. "A matter that concerns the future of House Lannister, and indeed, the future of the realm."
The girl's brow furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean?"
Lord Jason took a step closer, his eyes locking with hers. "The time has come for you to fulfil your destiny," he said solemnly. "You have been groomed for this moment since the day you came into my care. Now, the fate of Westeros lies in your hands."
The girl's eyes, so much like those of her uncle, widened in surprise, a thousand questions racing through her mind. "But how? What do you expect me to do?"
Lord Jason reached out and took her hand in his, his grip firm yet reassuring. "You possess a power that few in this world can comprehend," he said. "A power that can sway the hearts and minds of men. It is time for you to embrace that power, to step out of the shadows and into the light."
She stared at him. Jaena was a bastard - had always been told about her maid mother, seduced by Prince Daemon at a nameday celebration for the Lannister twin brothers. Had been told that bastards were nothing more, in her case, than a pretty thing to be looked at.
"I... I don't understand," she stammered. "What is it that you want from me?"
Lord Jason's gaze softened with an emotion she had never seen from him in her seventeen years of life, his thumb tracing circles on the back of her hand. "I want you to be the voice of my house on behalf of yours," he said gently. "To stand by my side as we navigate the treacherous waters of courtly politics. Together, we will forge a path to greatness, and nothing will stand in our way."
The girl's heart pounded in her chest, her head swimming with the enormity of his words. Could she truly be the key to his ambitions, the instrument through which he would achieve his goals?
Even as doubt gnawed at the edges of her mind, a spark of something else flickered to life within her. A sense of purpose, of destiny, that she had never known before. And as she looked into Lord Jason's eyes, she knew that she could no longer deny the call to greatness that beckoned her forward. Yet, amidst her aspirations, her heart yearned not for the confines of power or the shadow of Lord Jason, but for liberation. She sought a place where she could truly belong, where her spirit could soar freely, unshackled from the chains of her past.
With a nod of determination, she squared her shoulders and met his gaze head-on. "I will do whatever it takes," she vowed, her voice ringing with conviction.
As the first rays of moonlight flooded the chamber, casting their long shadows upon the stone floor, Lord Jason knew that the game had only just begun. But with the girl at his side, he was more confident than ever that victory would soon be within his grasp.
For they were not just players in the game of thrones; they were the architects of their destiny, bound together by fate and ambition, destined to carve their names into the annals of history for all eternity.

Several full moons had passed ever since you had agreed to come to terms with the man who is supposed to be your Lord Husband, Jacaerys.
Over the course of time, you had learned to, at least, put aside the things you once felt for him, and strictly focus on your duties as the future Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Fortunately, concentrating solely on your responsabilities helped you tolerate his presence, and even, sleep in the same bed.
You had even learned how to playfully jest to one another, and whisper secrets or gossips when you were public. Rhaenyra was delighted to see how you both began getting along rather well, but on the other side, a notorioys hint of bitter jealousy made Lucerys’ stomach turn awfully. He knew that, sooner or later, you would eventually have to come to terms with Jace, marry him, and produce heirs for the security of the Throne’s inheritance. Seven Hells, even Luke himself had given you recommendations to overcome your spite mixed with disappointed angst so you could get used to Jacaerys’ presence as your husband before your wedding.
And the big day had finally arrived.
Maidens and other servants quickly walked in a rush over the halls, occasionally stumbling upon one another as they all prepared the grand feast for your wedding. Lords, Ladies and other allies of the Targaryen’s black team were continously welcomed by Rhaenyra into Dragonstone, while the people of service finished to prepare the decorations for the ceremony, and the food.
All the while, you stood very disquieted in front of the mirror. Fidgeting with your fingers, a young maiden stood behind of you, tenderly finishing to brush and braid your hair fitting enough for a proper wedding bride. Her hands moved delicately, as your eyes were fixed upon your own figure in the mirror. The dress was rather beautiful, of course, but you were in absolute disbelief that this moment had finally come. Your heart vehemently pounded against your chest without resting for a bit, even hearing for yourself the way it was constantly beating. You were befriending Jacaerys slowly and surely, and you knew that you would eventually marry. Yet, that wasn’t enough for you to not be nervous at your own wedding.
“Is this alright, my Princess?” with a cooing voice, she craned her head to peek at you in the mirror from over your shoulder. A weak, yet kind smile appeared at the corner of your lips, her voice being enough to bring you back into reality. “It’s delightful, dear Myna. I love it, thank you.” you complimented, as some small giggles spurred from her lips at your compliment, and bowed down with her head. A soft knock was heard upon the door of your quarters, where you were getting dressed, during the brief moment none of you spoke to one another.
“Come in!” you shouted. As soon as you approved for the person to enter your chambers, the door was swiftly opened, revealing Lucerys. A sheepish smile formed upon his lips, accompanied by a faint rosy fluster and wide hazel eyes at the sight of how graceful you seemed under wedding garments. “My Prince,” Myna, the young maiden that was helping you get dressed and prepare your hair, curtsied down at him. He smiled, and bowed down his head politely. “You are dismissed. Thank you for everything, Myna.” the maid feebly smiled a bit shyly at your words, also curtsying down at you, before she left the room, and closed the door behind of her. It left you only, with Lucerys. Alone.
You felt his green gaze piercing behind of you, but you had never turned your head around to look back at him. “Luke.” you greeted. The way he so dumbfoundedly stared at you with a blush that never ceased and only spread further across his face, made you yourself feel flustered. He had stared at you in many ways that brought butterflies upon your stomach, but this one was different. “I would’ve guessed you were helping your mother greet the Lords and Ladies that will be attending the ceremony, or perhaps getting dressed for the occasion?” a slight tease was heard in your voice. With gentle footsteps and his arms behind his back, he walked towards you, continuing to gawk upon you through the mirror.
“I should, but I preferred to meet the bride.” he retorted, cheekily placing his head on your shoulder, continuing to stare at you through the mirror. For a brief moment, his eyes noticed your fidgeting. “I can tell you must be rather nervous, but don’t be. You look tremendously beautiful, and you will do great.” for a brief moment, he hesitated to say the following words, but the impulse was far too greater to hold back himself. “Jace is lucky to have you as his wife.”
You nibbled your lower lip discreetly at those words, lowering your gaze. Your cheeks boiled, and a vast grin overtook your face rather rapidly. Before you could respond with anything at all, dismissing his compliments, he spoke again. “I have brought a gift for you, as well. I think it will be very fitting for the future Queen of the Seven Kingdoms to wear it.” once again, your sight was raised to look at him, this time with an intrigued expression on your face. Finally, you turned your body around to look at what he was going to gift you. Luke’s arms appeared from behind his back, delicately holding a precious, shining necklace. From the end, it hung a bright ruby. Noticing your eyes twinkling with curiousity, he smirked, bringing it closer for you to properly give it a look.
“Do you know what this is?” as he inquired you so, you lifted softly part of the collar, holding the hanging ruby in your palms. A few moments of silence took over your chambers, as your eyes scanned the piece of jewellery very carefully. Noticing the furrowed eyebrows and intrigued look that remained on your beauteous face, he knew you weren’t fully aware of what it truly was. “It’s made of true, and pure Valyrian steel. It’s a necklace that Queen Visenya once wore.” upon hearing his words, your sight was abruptly lifted to look deep into his hazel eyes. Queen Visenya had worn it? And he would gift it to you for your wedding? you thought to yourself.
“Lucerys, I-” before fully answering, you stammered briefly in shock. “This carries a great ton of worth for the legacy of your House, why give it to me? You... Shouldn’t you give this to, perhaps, your future Lady of the Tides?” with a smooth movement, you let go of the necklace. You had to admit, mentioning a future Lady of the Tides made your stomach twist. A small chuckle escaped from his lips, shaking his head slowly. “Why give this to my future Lady of the Tides, when the future Queen of the realm could have this?” lucerys retorted, making your fluster appear once again at the way he notoriously favoured you, despite being his brother’s wife. “Besides, I personally believe you are far more worthy of carrying such piece of jewellery, than anyone else.”
You grinned along him, being unaware of how to properly express your gratitude without stumbling upon your words like a fool. “Now, turn around and allow me to have the honours of helping you with this, will you?” a chuckle escaped from you. Without being reluctant to his proposal, you immediatly turned around, moving your hair slightly towards one of your sides, very graciously falling over your shoulder before you held your own hair with your hand merely to not disturb him while helping you put on the necklace. With tender, careful movements, Lucerys finished to move aside some last strands of hair, and placed the jewellery around your neck.
As he clicked the necklace so it would be perfectly adjusted to your neck, with the ruby hanging on your chest, he continued to stand behind of you, moving his head to peek over your shoulder. You noticed, he had slightly grown taller. His hazel eyes were fixed on the way the jewellery perfectly fitted you, and without hesitating, his arms were immediatly wrapped around your body rather confidently. You gasped quietly, and one of his hands went to play with the ruby of the necklace, grinning as his chin was placed on your shoulder once again. The crimson tint your cheeks had taken were far more than obvious, and deep down inside, he adored it.
“You look delightful, (y/n). I could not see anyone more fitting to wear such necklace, other than you.” he whispered, making your smile grow wider. Even, show a bit of tooth. It was clear he had a raging envy for his brother, at having such beautiful and loving wife such as yourself - but what was there for him to do about it? Simply, show his appreciation towards you, treat you as you should be treated. A true Queen.
“You will be marvellous tonight, at the wedding. You will be the envy of all the other ladies.”
Tumblr media
The moment had come, shortly after you had finished to finally prepare yourself for the wedding ceremony. The specific room selected inside Dragonstone to host and celebrate your wedding was rather grand, and was mesmerisingly decored. The scent of the fresh flowers taken from the gardens that was not only part of the decorations, but as well some flowers were placed in your own clothing, was intoxicatingly delightful. The vast lightning coming from the flames of the candles were more than enough to illuminate the entirety of the place, charmingly. Accompanying the tranquil atmosphere, soft instruments were played in the background.
Your nerves made your hands slightly trembled as you walked down the aisle, feeling the stare of everyone present. The eyes of the guests, whom had stood up from their seats at your presence, gawked upon you absolutely thrilled. The long tail of your dress and all the layers of soft, fine fabric was smoothly dragged through the carpet on the floor as you walked. You swallowed anxiously, looking directly into Jace’s coffee coloured eyes, who politely smiled at you to ease your notorious nerves.
Having arrive to stand in front of Jace, the young Prince and future King couldn’t help but lower his sight discreetly at the necklace Lucerys had previously gifted you. His smile remained there, though his eyebrows furrowed slightly, as he leaned down closer to your face to whisper into your head. “Queen Visenya’s necklace suits you rather well, my dear. But, may I ask, who gave it to you?” it’s not as if you weren’t supposed to have her necklace, or anything. It was a mere curiousity that clearly resonated in his voice. Jace pressumed, his mother must have given it to you. Tiptoing ever so slightly, you whispered back, gently.
“Your brother, Lucerys, gave it to me before the ceremony.”
A very softly whispered “ah,” escaped from his lips, a bit surprised at his brother’s bold actions. It was no secret that, ever since you had came to Dragonstone, you developed a lovely relationship with Lucerys, but he had never thought his brother would give you such a worthy gift right before your wedding, especially one that represented their House’s legacy. Jace thought it suited you rather preciously, and just like Lucerys thought, it especially was for someone that was meant to be a Queen. But, either way, knowing his brother, Jacaerys deeply sensed there was something else he probably wasn’t aware of. It was only fair, after the pain he had made you go through, if you ever were to be with his brother.
“Shall we start the ceremony, Lord Husband?” you inquired, using a normal tone enough for every guest to hear your question. The ruby hanging at the end of your necklace reflected the flames of every nearby candle used to lit the place, it was a great honour for House Targaryen, and you yourself were pleased with it.
“Yes, we shall, my Lady Wife.” he replied, holding a frowny smile, remaining polite and proper for the situation.
Tumblr media
You had given your vows to one another, in front of every Lord, Lady, ally, and other guests that there were in your wedding. Even if you had enjoyed the brief taste and sensation of Jace’s lips from the kiss you had to give to one another for the ceremony, it wasn’t as delightful as you fantasised it would be. It was for no other reason, than the fact that you were learning step-by-step how to push aside what you once felt for him, reminding to yourself constantly that your marriage was just a political arrangement benefitial for your Houses, and that he preferred to have an affair with Lady Baela. The thought of it being bitter still was occasionally obnoxious to you, but not as dreadful as it once was.
The feast was filled with food, traditional dances, and some smooth instrumental music playing in the background according to every occasion for the wedding ceremony. Most of the guests were standing in the middle of the hall in a small little crowd they had made, dancing with one another as laughter echoed through the room. Everyone seemed to have a vast smile on their lips, chuckling in a childish manner and baltering around the hall. You were slightly far away from the crowd, observing the scenery. The way the entire place had been decorated to cherish the union of your House with House Velaryon was as charmingly captivating as it could ever be, and you would rather appreciate the moment staring from afar, without getting drained amidst the dancing crowd. Some were drunk already, even.
“Having fun, I pressume?” a familiar voice came from your side, and you turned around to curiously stare. A wide grin formed on your lips, noticing it was obviously none other than Lucerys. His hazel eyes would not leave your very own body. He felt as if it wasn’t proper to be eyeing up and down the wife of his elder brother, but it wasn’t as if both of you had married for true love - he was simply fervently admiring a beauty. “Lots of them.” you retorted sarcastically, gazing back towards the large crowd.
Lucerys scoffed. “I can tell.” he replied, before allowing a few seconds of silence to pass before he spoke up again. “Do you not enjoy the feast?” his gaze turned back at you, admiring the way your features seeemed to be highlighted under the dimly lighted candle flames. You sighed, not responding for a few seconds, before turning around to him again. “I am enjoying the feast. I appreciate how the entire castle was specifically decored according to the wedding, and it was very beautifully decored, but...”
The entirety of your body turned around to face him. He discreetly swallowed, having his arms behind his back and not helping himself but staring down at the jewellery he had previously gifted you. A prideful small smirk grew at the corner of his lips, being contented at how precious you looked. Truly, a sight to admire. “I still don’t know how to feel with my betrothal. Time has passed rather quickly, I can say, more than I would have wished. It’s just... A political wedding, not really for love.” you confessed to him, in a low tone. Luke attentively heard everything you told him, slightly tilting his head to his side.
“And... I’m afraid by the time I have to start producing heirs, you know?” a scoff escaped from his nostrils, looking down for a brief moment before gazing up back at you again. Of course, he understood perfectly that fear of yours. He profoundly desired to throw himself at you and hold you firmly in his arms, but he had to contain himself at the eyes of the public.
“I know. But fear not, I promise you will be greatly taken care of and protected.” his hand went to be placed on your shoulder comfortingly, rubbing it gently, giving him a side grin. Your heart felt warm at the gentleness of his touch, with little butterflies fluttering their wings around your stomach. The sweet tension between you two amidst the cheery crowd was felt, making you forget about the rest of the world. You would give it all, just to have Lucerys as your own betrothed.
“Besides, we have one another to trust in all of our insecurities and secrets, do we not?” the smile on your lips quivered into an even greater one, making you release a guffawk. Your eyes twinkled as you laughed, with your cheeks becoming rosy and boiling. It was true, even if you trusted in Rhaenyra to talk to her, she couldn’t compare to the comfortingly warm way Lucerys made you feel. A true person you could rely, and confide all your secrets, thoughts, and whatever remained locked deep inside you.
“You are right, Luke. We do have each other, after all.” you responded in a quiet tone. Your eyes looked deep into his own as you smiled. Gods, he felt as if he could melt right under your beautiful gaze.
His chest suddenly rose, releasing a loud huff after staring at one another for a few seconds. It was a good type of tension, but one you could cut with a knife. It was too notorious for the rest of the people how you felt for each other, but both of you were too scared to boldly act upon your desires, even if your parents allowed you to act as your heart and conscience dictated.
“I think, this will be a long night. Perhaps, you could give me the honours of taking you dancing? I mean, Jace is chatting to some Lords, after all.” lucerys then offered you one of his hands, appearing from behind his back. You stared down at it with a grin, your heart pounding strongly against your chest, and took his own hand without hesitating. He was a bit timid when it came to doing these types of things with you, but he enjoyed them nevertheless. Besides, it was worth it a thousand of times.
You turned around to look at Jacaerys, and he was indeed laughing and chatting with some Lords and Ladies that had been invited to your wedding. Craning your head to look back at him, you nodded. At least, you had someone to truly enjoy the night with. Someone you favoured, over anything, and anyone.
“And I would be honoured, to accept your proposal, my Prince.” you teased, “Let us enjoy the night, together. We have a long way to go from here.”

The Importance of Safety and Security in Warehousing and Distribution
Safety and security should come first in warehousing and distribution. With the fast-paced nature of these operations and the potential risks involved, it is crucial to establish robust safety and security measures to protect employees, assets, and the overall supply chain. This comprehensive blog will delve into the importance of safety and security in warehousing and distribution.
From minimising accidents and injuries to safeguarding inventory and mitigating risks, we will explore the key aspects of creating a safe and secure environment in pick and pack services. By understanding the significance of safety and security measures and implementing best practices, businesses can protect their employees, enhance operational efficiency, and build customer trust.
1. Ensuring Employee Safety
The well-being of warehouse employees should always be a top priority. Warehousing and distribution environments are rife with potential hazards, from operating heavy machinery and forklifts to manual handling tasks and working at heights. Organisations can drastically reduce the risk of accidents and injuries by implementing robust safety protocols, offering comprehensive training programs, and ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines.
It is crucial to delve into important topics such as the correct usage of equipment, the implementation of ergonomic practices to prevent musculoskeletal injuries, the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) to mitigate risks, and the scheduling of regular safety training sessions to keep employees informed and updated on best practices.
By prioritising employee safety, businesses can foster a secure and productive work environment while minimising the likelihood of workplace incidents.
2. Minimising Inventory Loss and Damage
Effective safety and security measures directly impact inventory management. Warehouses safeguard valuable goods; any loss or damage can lead to financial losses and impact customer satisfaction. Implementing security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control, and alarms, can deter theft and unauthorised access. Also, proper storage techniques, clear aisleways, and inventory tracking systems can prevent damage caused by mishandling or improper storage conditions.
3. Implementing Fire Safety Measures
Warehousing and distribution are susceptible to fire hazards due to flammable materials and electrical systems. Adequate fire safety measures, such as fire detection systems, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and well-maintained electrical systems, are essential for preventing and minimising the impact of fires. Regular fire drills, training sessions on emergency evacuation procedures, and establishing designated assembly points are crucial in ensuring employee safety during emergencies.
4. Managing Hazardous Materials
Warehousing and distribution often involve handling hazardous materials, such as chemicals, gases, or flammable substances. Complying with strict safety regulations and guidelines is vital when dealing with such materials. It includes proper storage, labelling, handling procedures, and employee training on the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Regular inspections, audits, and documentation are necessary to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
5. Enhancing Cybersecurity
In the digital age, warehouses increasingly rely on technology and interconnected systems. This dependence on technology brings the risk of cyber threats, including data breaches, hacking, and unauthorised access to critical information. Establishing robust cybersecurity measures, such as network security protocols, regular system updates, encryption, and employee training on cybersecurity best practices, is crucial to protect sensitive data and maintaining operations’ integrity.
6. Creating a Safety Culture
Safety and security should be ingrained in warehousing and distribution. Promoting a safety-conscious environment starts from the top down, with leadership demonstrating a commitment to safety and consistently enforcing protocols. Encouraging employee participation, recognising and rewarding safe practices, and fostering open communication channels for reporting potential hazards or incidents are key elements in creating a safety culture.
7. Regular Training and Improvement
Training programs should be an ongoing initiative to ensure employees are updated with safety protocols, equipment operation, and emergency procedures. Conducting regular safety meetings, refresher training sessions, and providing resources for employees to enhance their safety knowledge will contribute to a safer and more secure work environment.
Continuous improvement involves regularly evaluating safety and security practices, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes. It can include conducting safety audits, analysing incident reports, and seeking employee feedback to address potential hazards or weaknesses in existing procedures. Embracing new technologies and industry best practices can also aid continuous improvement efforts.
8. Cost Savings
Implementing effective safety and security measures in pick and pack service centres can save high costs. Businesses can reduce medical expenses, worker compensation claims, and potential lawsuits by preventing accidents and injuries. Additionally, minimising inventory loss due to theft or damage preserves valuable assets and avoids the need for costly replacements.
Maintaining compliance with safety regulations also helps avoid fines and penalties. Moreover, insurance premiums can be lowered by demonstrating a commitment to robust safety and security practices, as insurance providers recognise the reduced risk of incidents and claims. Ultimately, prioritising safety and security protects employees and assets and contributes to the organisation’s financial well-being.
In conclusion,
The importance of safety and security in warehousing and distribution cannot be overstated. It is not only a moral obligation to prioritise the well-being of employees, but also a strategic investment that protects assets, ensures operational continuity, and maintains a positive reputation. Organisations can significantly reduce accidents, inventory loss, and potential liabilities by implementing comprehensive safety protocols, such as employee training, fire prevention measures, and proper management of hazardous materials.
Additionally, robust security measures, both physical and digital, safeguard valuable inventory, mitigate the risk of theft, and protect sensitive data from cyber threats. The cost savings achieved through effective safety and security measures and the increased trust and confidence gained from customers and stakeholders create a solid foundation for long-term success.
By fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and compliance, warehouses, and distribution centres can thrive in a secure environment, supporting the growth and sustainability of their operations.

yes this has plot now yes this might be longer than i planned it to be dont fucking look at me
ao3 | PART ONE | PART TWO | PART THREE | PART FOUR | PART FIVE | PART SIX | 7 | 8
The father sends you off with a gift basket of vegetables and a bottle of wine for your help. He insisted, even after you refused, stating that you hadn't needed to visit and offer your services after he'd drunkenly harassed you the other night.
Death ditches you as soon as it starts raining, the prick, and you have to rush back to your inn drenched in rainwater. The innkeeper clicks her tongue over your state and ushers you into a warm bath, readying the fireplace for you to warm up by as soon as you're out. You end up falling asleep on one of the couches right by it, dozing away underneath a heavy, well-worn quilt.
You wake up to loud knocks on the front door the next morning. You tiredly open your eyes to see the innkeeper open the door to talk to someone, though their voices are way too far for you to clearly hear. Yawning, you stretch your arms, rising to sit back against the couch.
You can already feel the beginnings of a cold starting. Ugh. And you still had research work to do for Elrick's family. You run a hand over your face.
Right. Look for the spellcaster that made the spindle curse, which means look into the recent business contracts of Elrick's love's family, which means look into said love's family, which means look into Elrick's love. Fantastic.
You take a shower to wake yourself up. The innkeeper is nice enough to tell you she'll bring breakfast up for you, so you take your time standing under the hot water to shake as much fatigue off your muscles as you can. Your red cloak's still drying on the clothesline out back, so you'll have to ditch it and go with your regular clothes for now.
You return to your room to find your breakfast being pillaged by the massive wolf sitting on your bed.
"Fuck off!" You toss a boot at Death, since you'd grabbed your pair from the closet to lace up when you headed out. He catches it in mid-air without looking. "You don't even need to eat!"
"Says who?"
"You're Death!" You march forward to snatch your plate away from him. He tosses your boot right back at you, forcing you to duck. "What the fuck are you even doing here?"
"Business," he says.
"Then go collect the soul of whatever poor bastard kicked the bucket yesterday." You drop your other boot in favor of hurriedly shoveling food into your mouth, just in case he takes your plate from you again. "I'unno why you keep pestering me."
"Schadenfreude," he says. "You're annoying. I want to see you get put in a jar and shaken around."
You sneer at him. "I hope you get put in a jar and shaken around."
You finish your breakfast in record time, quickly putting on your boots to head downstairs for whatever bullshit involving death and gloom you're about to find yourself in if the wolf himself is here. There are two women waiting by the fireplace, both of them talking to the innkeeper with hushed tones and wringing hands. All of them stop at the sight of you on the staircase.
You have to stop yourself from turning around to see if they can see Death, but they make no mention of the wolf looming behind your shoulder. "Yes?"
"We heard from the Huntsman down the road," one of the old ladies says. "He says you know how to use magic?"
Oh boy.
Turns out the ladies' niece is sick. Has been sick for about a month, and none of the doctors can figure out what's wrong with her. With the scarcity of witches in town, they haven't been able to turn to magic for help, and so they'd decided to seek you out after they'd heard from their neighbor.
"We don't have much, but we're seamstresses," they say. "We would be indebted you, and we'll fix all your garments without charge."
"At…at least let me see what's wrong first," you say, because with Death hovering around, you have a sneaking suspicion that one of these old ladies is gonna offer her remaining life up for her niece, and you're not really keen on helping that along today.
Their house is a short walk from the inn. It's a nice sunny day out, a welcome change from the storm last night. You're welcomed into a small two-storey house a little ways off the main road, and led up to a child's room where a little girl lies asleep on her bed, feverish. Her mother and father are sitting by her bedside, tired looks on their faces.
They turn as you enter the room, glancing to their aunts with hopeful expressions. Ah fuck.
"Okay," you say, mostly to yourself, and then clear your throat to address everyone else. "Tell me what's wrong with her."
It's an issue of health. The little girl has always been frail since she's been born, and during a spike of ill weather a month ago, her health had taken a turn for the worse and she's never recovered. Your heart clenches as the mother recounts everything, breaking into sobs halfway through and leaning on her husband. You sit awkwardly on a chair beside the bed, listening to her crying. Death stands at the foot of the child's bed, silent, the picturesque Grim Reaper waiting to collect someone's soul.
But he's clearly not here to do so just yet. It's not time. He's waiting, and he's here to see if you're going to do anything to buy the girl some time.
You sigh and give the family their options, as best as you can.
"Here's my suggestion," you say, after you've told them about the Fountain of Youth and the Crossroads Deal. "We buy some time for you daughter, and then one of you travels to Far Far Away. There are more witches there, ones who can help with restoring health. This isn't my usual line of work, so I can't make your daughter magically well."
"Can you search for us?" the father asks.
"I'm afraid I'm already trying to search for someone else's problem," you say, and his face falls. These people have no knowledge of where to find witches when they've lived in a place so derived of them, and with so little time to save their daughter,  you can understand their anxiety.
You glance towards the girl. In the corner of your eye, you notice Death raising an eyebrow. You sigh.
"Okay," you say. "I'll…try to look for someone who can help." You try not to look at the couple's bright smiles as you take out your spellbook (you guess it really is yours now) to flip for the page to the Fountain of Youth.
As you walk the couple through the steps for the spell, you try to ignore Death's gaze bearing down on you.
-
You grab lunch on the road so you can start your search into Elrick's affair first. Death had left after the Fountain of Youth exchange, and you relax at the sudden freedom from his judging stare. You start with interrogating Muffet about everything she knows about the situation, asking for names and addresses of her sources, and then go to investigate those sources afterwards.
By sunset, you think you have a decent grasp of the picture. The family you're dealing with is some old money bloodline that used to sell fabric to Duloc's old royalty. Ever since the collapse of the Farquaad line, they've been struggling to keep afloat, and are not entertaining commoners getting involved with their daughter. As some of the people you've interviewed are staff or family members of staff who work at this estate, you think the news of the girl being sent away in a tower is pretty reliable.
So that's a bust, as you'd thought it would be. No way you're getting her back to Poisonapple in nine days. Finding the original spellcaster to break the curse might just be as difficult, as according to everyone, the spindle that Elrick pricked himself on was just a regular spinning wheel.
Magic. With all its clauses and implications and high specifications. The curse was probably something like as long as he pricks himself on something sharp and didn't really need a spindle. Kinda like how your curse needs words to be worded as a command, because requests never work.
Well, you're heading to Far Far Away, you suppose. First to find a witch that can help with restoring health and another with a specialty in analyzing intricate spellwork to find a loophole. There has to be one. They used to televise princess christenings, and everyone saw the mess that happened with Sleeping Beauty.
You grab dinner at the pub and pack up what little belongings you have, check that your weapons are in top shape in case you meet trouble on the road, and head out.
One day down, eight more remaining.
-
Far Far Away is several days away from Poisonapple and is terribly…loud. Loud and bright and bombastic. You're no stranger to bustling cities - you've worked many a job at Del Mar and their rambunctious parties. But Far Far Away is…
Well, there's 3d magical ads on billboards about perfumes and cheeses and all sorts of stuff every which way you turn. Bright, moving posters are plastered on every surface you can find. Television screens blast shows from the display windows you pass by. You've been in cities, but Far Far Away is a city-city.
Which means as soon as you start asking for a witch, several hundred people immediately start pulling you in several different directions.
"Would you like to get your future told? I can tell you your future career for a cheap price! And if you get the premium package, I can tell you what your future spouse is like -"
"She's a fraud! Don't listen to her, she ain't even a witch, she's a fortune teller. Now you follow me, lovely, I'm a witch, and if you get the Gold Plan of my services - "
"You're the fraud. None'a you lot even know what a fuckin' witch is anymore. I'm the actual witch here, descended from a long bloodline of -"
"Nobody gives a shit about your ma or your ma's ma and whatever broom they rode in."
"Why you - !"
It takes you thirty minutes to escape their grabbing hands and sprint away from their vicinity. Far Far Away, it turns out, has a thriving magical community, and a 'witch district', as locals call it. It's a long stretch of road that's nothing but magic shops, with sellers of magical items (both real and fake) and all sorts of magic users.
But you don't need a fortune teller, or whoever's gonna sell you which premium plan of their services. You need someone who can help a sick child, preferably a witch who specializes in herb or sky magic, and someone who can deconstruct a curse, which means you're looking for a wizard. Or a mage with a specificity in curse magic. Depends on who you can find, you're not picky. You've arrived at Far Far Away at noon, day four of your nine-day deadline; you've only got so many hours to spare.
You check in at the cheapest inn you can find, get a map of the city, and begin your usual interviewing. You introduce yourself as a traveler, sent in by your relatives to find a cure for your sick baby sister. There are a lot of fake magic users in town, you know that - it's a tourist town, after all - so hopefully, this will help narrow down your pool of options.
The innkeeper is nice enough to mark your map to show you shops he personally trusts. Several of them, unfortunately, are inventory shops, and only about six of them are for magic users. You thank him for his time anyway, and spend the next few hours visiting one shop after the other.
The inventory shops are legitimate, as far as you can tell, but their wares are more on the safe, legal side (so nobody can start slinging curses at each other). As for the people you visit, only two of them are of any help. One is a specialist in potions, the other in Earth magic. Close enough to what you were looking for.
They both know each other too, which is convenient. You invite them to dinner to discuss your problem and hope that the hefty chunk of your savings (and the girl's family's promise of free seamstress services) will be enough to persuade them to help you.
At six o'clock, both of them close down shop and meet you at The Wooden Eye, a small pub in the quieter side of town. You buy them drinks and food, hoping to get on their good side, before you recount to them exactly what's happened in Poisonapple that you need their help with.
Gertrude, the potions specialist, falls silent after your tale. Madeleine, the earth witch, puts a hand over her mouth as concern flits across her face.
"Oh, dear," she says. "I…am not sure how much I can help outside of advising them on dietary needs as supplements."
"Isn't Earth magic Life magic?" you ask.
"It is, but we still have specializations. It's not a catch-all thing. I work with plants, how to use them for divination, for healing, for protection. I make hex bags, talismans, healing poultices." She sighs. "I can't completely upturn a child's biological disposition, and thorough healing isn't my specialty. You need a sky witch for that."
"I can help make potions to keep the kid going for a bit, but it's not a permanent cure. It'll be like…taking vitamins, daily treatments." She shrugs. "Sort of like what Maddie can do."
"No, no, that's plenty of help," you say. "She can have a long life with steady treatment, yes?"
Both girls turn to each other. They nod, and say, "Yes."
You breathe out a sigh of relief. That's wonderful news. Better than you can ask for. You just need to convince them to help.
"Would you be amicable for travel?" you ask.
You need them to talk to the family in Poisonapple so they can have their own arrangement. You're a mercenary, after all, not an errand runner. You're gonna pick up a long job somewhere far one day, and you're not gonna be there as their middle man. You offer to pay for their fare back to the village, hand them a map and some instructions, and they thankfully, thankfully, agree.
Now for Elrick.
"I suppose you wouldn't know any wizards in town?" you ask. "I still have one other person I'm here on a job for."
"Last wizard who lived here moved far down the south continent to take care of her mom," Gertrude says. "What do you need help with? Maybe someone else in town can do it."
"I need a curse broken but we can't find the original spellcaster. True Love's Kiss is out of the options too," you say, taking a sip of your drink. "Some kid got cursed by a rich family for getting too close to their daughter."
Both of them wince.
"Yeah, I suppose you'll need a wizard to deconstruct the curse," Madeleine says. "Ain't there a mage at the Forbidden Forest though, Gerry?"
"He doesn't work with curses." Gertrude shakes her head, and to you, says: "Sorry."
"It's fine," you say. You have several leads anyway, all you need to do is chase them. You can pay a visit to the Forbidden Forest tomorrow.
You and the girls finish up your meal before you bid each other goodbye. You leave the pub, hunt down the nearest expedited magic mail service you can find to send a message to both families you're on the job for. Good news for the little girl's family, and a lead for Elrick's.
Hopefully the young boy's brother and father can be patient just a bit longer. Four days down, three left.

Now that I don't feel guilty because I wrote yours, I'd love to see how you'd do Teslen (I know it's your thing!) with number 12 from the 'Ways to Say I Love You' Prompts.
Thank yoooou 😁
Prompt 12: "No one’s ever done this for me before…"
It very much got away from me, but it was stupidly fun to write, even if it is more Teslen when you squint and tilt your head (I was aiming for like acts of service love with a side of banter).
Also, Teslen being my thing 🤣 I swear I used to do other stuff too!!
---
A sharp curse, followed by a disgruntled muttering sounded from the other side of the bathroom door and Helen took a deep breath against her headache.
3… 2…
“Helen?”
She sighed.
“Nikola?”
There was another curse and she stood, moving toward the otherside of the room.
“I think I need…”
She pushed open the door.
“… a hand.”
He was standing in the middle of the bathroom, dripping small globs of murky green gunk onto the white of the tiles, hand held awkwardly out from his sides to keep his talons from doing any more harm than they’d apparently already done. His eyes were still pitch black, and each word sounded thick through the mouthful of too sharp teeth that had crowded out from his gums.
Giving her a rather pathetic look (as a large glob of gunk fell wetly off of his chin) he gestured towards his filthy clothing and cocked his head.
“Sorry,” he offered far more meekly than she’d expected.
Helen said nothing, biting back another sigh and wishing she’d had the foresight to grab some painkillers from her kit bag. She nodded once and Nikola moved to step towards her, but Helen held up a hand.
“Let’s keep the mess in one spot, shall we?” She arched an eyebrow, glancing pointedly at the sludgy mess by his feet. Nikola followed her gaze, pulling a face but remaining still.
Helen approached cautiously, a very human instinct to run from the vampire warring with the knowledge that beneath the nasty visage, it was still just Nikola. She eyed his coat, looking for a spot that was at least partially clean.
“The back should be mostly clear,” he offered, jerking his head but not shifting. Helen stepped to the side, relieved to find that the back of his coat was in fact clean enough that she could grab a hold without getting more of the gunk on herself. She’d already had to spend ten minutes scrubbing it off of her hands once and she didn’t relish the thought of having to do it again.
Reaching up she grabbed the back of his coat, tugging it until it was sliding back and Nikola could shuffle his arms through, fingers carefully pressed together to minimise the threat of his claws. Discarding the coat and moving back around to his front, Helen began work on his waistcoat (only a little gunk).
“Perhaps this will teach you to stop rushing in ahead of me,” she said, sliding the garment off of his shoulders.
“Or perhaps this is a perfect example of why I should rush in,” he retorted. Helen glanced up to him and frowned before she began working on his belt. “It’s worth noting that my being in front is the reason you are not currently covered in this SCIU snot,” he continued.
Helen made a face.
“Or maybe I wouldn’t have immediately pressed every button I could find just for the hell of it, and so this… mess could have been avoided entirely.”
“I did not press every button.”
Helen merely raised an eyebrow as she started on the row of buttons down the front of his shirt. She worked in silence for a few moments, stripping him of the soiled garments as quickly as she could manage. When he began to toe off his shoes, Helen stood back.
“Are you feeling any more in control?” she asked, scanning his features. He looked just as vampiric as he had in the moments after they’d been sprayed.
“It’s not about control,” he replied as he pushed the shoes off to the side. “I just can’t…”
“Get it under control,” Helen finished. Nikola sighed at that.
“I’m not about to feast on you, if that’s what’s got you so uptight,” he retorted.
“Glad to know.”
“Oh stop being so snippy with me,” he said. “It’s not my fault I got sprayed with whatever nasty experiment they were mucking about with, and can’t make these,” he waved his talons in front of her face, “go away. You were the one who said washing it off should do the trick.”
A sharp retort was on her tongue, but Helen bit it back. She knew she’d been short with him (which, generally speaking, she would argue he deserved) but not a single thing had gone according to plan all day and the fact that she now had to undress Nikola – no doubt prompting all manner of lewd comments for the foreseeable future – felt like the very terrible icing on an exceptionally unpleasant cake.
Taking in a deep breath, she met his eye.
“You need to bathe.”
For a split second she could see the innuendo forming in his mouth, but apparently he decided to play the gentleman and swallowed it. Trying for a steady, scientific approach, she reached for the clasp of his trousers, met his eye once more, and then swiftly tugged them down over his hips, dragging his underwear along with it.
She left him to step out of them, turning instead to the bathtub and fiddling with the knobs until a steady stream of warm water was filling the tub.
“This will have to do until we can get you into a decontamination shower,” she said, looking over her shoulder briefly. He’d grabbed his mostly clean shirt and was using the sleeve of it to wipe his face. Straightening up, she met his eye once more.
“I’ll leave you to it.” Helen moved towards the door, stopping only when Nikola made a small, uncertain noise. She turned.
“I’m not sure I’ll be able to do much with these without a shower head to help me along,” he said with another wave of his talons, this time far more sheepish.
“And you need to get the substance off your skin,” she agreed, closing her eyes for half a second. Helen took a deep breath and gestured towards the rub. “Alright then.”
They both moved in silence then, collecting up what they would need to clean him up, and it wasn’t until Nikola climbed into the tub that he spoke again.
“I just don’t understand what possible purpose this could serve,” Nikola grumbled, leaning back against the edge of the tub as his hands settled on the edge. “What value is there in a gunk that makes me vamp out if it doesn’t turn me into some sort of mindless slave at the same time?”
“It’s the optics of it,” Helen replied, clearing the decorative stool beside the tub and dragging it over. “Imagine if you could awaken the beastie in every abnormal for miles around. You’d be hard pressed to find a government that wouldn’t help fund a counter attack.” She settled beside him, pressing on his shoulder until he sank lower into the water.
“Utter maniacs,” he muttered, closing his eyes as he tipped his head back. Helen slid one hand into his hair, pulling him back up slightly while the other grabbed at a bottle of soap she’d nabbed from the counter. With one hand she flicked the cap open and tipped it onto his scalp.
“Well, I did try and tell you that,” she replied, half joking. Nikola’s lips quirked into the beginnings of a smile.
“I suppose one of these days I’ll have to start listening to you,” he murmured as her fingers began to work through the grease of his hair. The substance was unpleasantly thick and seemed to want to cling to each hair.
Helen scoffed.
“That will be the day I officially retire,” she said. “And perhaps pigs fly.”
Nikola chuckled quietly, but offered no rebuttal as he tipped his head further back to give her better access. For a few long minutes, Helen worked in silence, soaping, rinsing and soaping again. Nikola was being exceptionally well behaved, which she suspected had more to do with his long term goals for the evening that giving her a break.
When her nails scratched as the nape of his neck slightly, he hummed softly and a spasm of something flitted across his face.
“You know,” he began, “no one’s ever done this for me before…”
“Washed your hair?” she asked, quietly bemused by his tone.
“Well, I suppose my mother when I was a child, but you’re certainly the first of my paramours to perform the service.”
“I am not your paramour.”
“Then why are we holed up in a very quaint little bed and breakfast, with such a glamourous, sharable bathtub and nary a shower in sight?” he countered, not opening his eyes.
“You know very well this was the only accommodation available at such short notice. And I don’t exactly get to decide where SCIU sets up their facilities,” Helen replied, tugging a little more harshly on his hair as she once more rubbed soap into the slowly loosening mess. “It was this or we camp.”
“And you didn’t bring the children,” he continued, as if she hadn’t spoken.
“Henry and Will had only just gotten back from their latest expedition.” She sighed, unsure why she was justifying herself to Nikola. “You were the only one left to call on, I’m afraid.”
He pulled a face at that and she smiled a little triumphantly, if only because he couldn’t see it.
Then his eyes flew open and her face dropped.
The twinkle in his eye suggested she hadn’t been quite quick enough.
“Have you done this before?” His tone suggested the beginning of a line of banter she didn’t have it in her to deal with.
“Yes.”
Nikola’s lips twitched and she cut him off.
“Ashley used to hate washing her hair,” she continued. Something happened to his expression for a split second, but she didn’t dwell on it. “I became quite adept at ensuring that no bubbles get into your eyes as a matter of self-preservation.”
After a pause his cocksure grin was back and he was all but leering up at her.
“So, then I’m the first of your paramours to receive the honours?”
She smiled back, looking away from her work to meet his eye.
“Do you really want me to answer that?”
His lips pressed into a frustrated line.
“No.”
Helen chuckled.
“That’s what I thought.” She tapped the side of his head. “Sit up.”
Obligingly, Nikola moved forwards, sitting up and she pointedly did not watch the water that rolled down his shoulders. She would not, under any circumstances, give him the satisfaction. Instead she grabbed the empty cup she’d nabbed earlier, dipping it into the water and bringing it up to his head. Cupping her other hand along his hairline, she rinsed the suds from his hair.
When she was satisfied with her work, she leaned back and smiled.
“Done.”
“Surely you missed a spot,” he said quickly, leaning forwards. Helen merely reached across and grabbed one of the towels hanging beside the tub.
“Given you seem to have dealt with your little problem,” she replied, pressing the towel against his chest above the water line, “I’m going to have to argue the evidence is to the contrary.”
Nikola looked down at his hands, capturing the towel just as she withdrew her hand and stood. He seemed momentarily shocked by his own very normal nails, and she watched as he ran his tongue across his teeth and Helen found herself faintly relieved that she was faced once more with a very normal looking Nikola.
She stood, turning away as he began to move before bending down to collect up his filthy outfit. When she heard the soft sounds of his steps on the tile, she turned back to him. Nikola had wrapped the towel low around his hips and was sauntering towards her with an air of arrogance he hadn’t been able to maintain when covered in gunk.
“Go get dressed,” she said, making a point to look him in the eye. He waited for her gaze to slip, and she was quite proud of the fact that it did not. Instead she gestured to the door, shepherding him towards it. “You’re not the only one who needs to bathe here, Nikola.”
“Oh Helen,” he purred, “surely you’ll allow me to return the favour…” He lounged in the doorway as if the sight of his bare chest might sway her.
Helen simply smiled and raised one hand.
“No need." She waggled her fingers at him. “I’m not the one with a talon problem.”
And before he could even formulate another line to try, she pushed at said bare chest, shutting the door firmly between them and trying very hard not to think about the fact she still had to share a bed with him until first light.

Back to the Night We Met - Ch3
You wake one morning, and enjoy the serenity of the snowfall. You help Angus bond closer with Mary, and a devastating turn to the holiday occurs. Tw: mentions of death/grieving, smoking.
It was three days until Christmas. December 22nd. I’d been up late that morning, with nothing to do i relished in the extra time i got to sleep in.
9:30, my clock said. I groaned to myself. Much too late to have breakfast with the others, though for what it’s worth i got to miss out on Teddy’s usual morning insult parade.
“Whatever you say, church mouse” Is what he’d said when i’d asked him to please stop taking all the toast at breakfast yesterday.
Anyhow, i rolled out of bed in my nightgown, a soft, silk garment that made the scratchy and stiff Barton infirmary beds actually bearable. The others had since disappeared, all except for Ye-Joon, who’d been reading, curled up on his bed across the room.
“Morning…” I wave gently.
“Hello” He said back quite shyly.
“Why aren’t you with the others?” I inquire.
“Oh.. i just felt like some quiet.” I nod understandingly. Ye-Joon, not unlike myself, was quite introverted. I let him know he’s welcome to any pick from my stack of books before i left out into the hall, wandering down to the kitchen, hoping i can scavenge something for breakfast, maybe if i’m lucky there’ll still be some coffee left in the pot.
As i wander into the kitchen, i notice Teddy sitting there, a sour look on his face. I relish in the opportunity to irritate him as i come in.
“something wrong? Why the long face Kountze?”
He sneered at me. “Somebody took my picture.” I can’t help but smirk a little, realising immediately what had happened.
“Oh reaaallly? Wow- who would do that..?” He just grumbled, and didn’t really answer. I tried not to laugh. “I’m sure it’ll turn up.”
I was pleased to find that enough coffee had indeed been left in the pot for me, i took a mug of it, and a warm green sweater outside, hoping to relish in the beautiful view of the soft snowfall.
Outside there was a fair few benches in the courtyard. They provided a view out to the seemingly endless forest, the (now frozen) lake and river, and even the soft, billowing clouds of chimneys from the town over. I saw as my breath turned to cloud in the chilled air, and i decided on the bench underneath a huge stained glass window.
I thought about Mary. As much as we’d all had troubles with our families, there was nobody i had stronger sympathy for than her. I’d found her, a few mornings ago, sitting in the empty auditorium with Curtis’ memorial picture. I had gone in myself to just sit at the back, knowing it was always quiet, i read there sometimes for a change of scenery. When i’d gently pushed open the door (it squeaks if you do it fast) she’d turned to look. We didn’t exchange any words, just a simple, sympathetic look. Curtis would have been 19 this year. He was the year above me and the senior boys, but they’d told me he was so kind to the younger kids. The boys told me he’d applied to service so when he finished he’d be able to go to college because they didn’t have the finances to, it was just him and Mary after all. That day i just sat in the pew with her, some distance apart. I didn’t dare try and talk about it with her, but the least i could give her was my solidarity.
The one time Jason & I were alone in the kitchen, we were talking about it, and he’d recounted a memory he’d had with Curtis, touring the new first-year students on Introduction Day. He told me that Curtis had spent extra time with a first year student who didn’t know any of the other new kids, encouraging them to involve eachother in a group. He spoke so highly of Curtis’ compassion, and kindness. The same kindness i recognised in Mary. It broke my heart for her.
We all like to believe people get what they deserve. But the truth is, they simply don’t. It always seemed to me that good, honest people suffer too much, and those completely undeserving of good things, don’t suffer enough for what they do to others.
I was recalling this somber feeling, looking out over the fresh snow, when i’d heard the door to the courtyard open. I turn hopefully, and to my relief, it was Angus. He, i could see, had already been up for a few hours, and, parallelling my memory of Mary, came to sit by me on the bench without a word. At this point i’d finished my coffee, and placed my mug on the side-table, now just enjoying the serenity.
After a while - “It’s beautiful isn’t it? the snow?” I smiled even hearing his voice. He spoke softly, almost as if not to ruin the peace of the moment.
“It’s lovely. It almost looks like a soft blanket, though that illusion only lasts as long as before you touch it.” He nods with a smile.
“What’re you thinking about out here?” It’s a thoughtful question.
“Mary… and Curtis. Though i never got to meet him, i can see how much it’s hurting her. He seemed like a real golden boy.” He nodded knowingly.
“He was.”
A beat passes in conversation.
“I wish I could help more. But death is one of those things i guess. Nothing anybody can do, but everybody wishes they could.”
As he says so, he lights a cigarette. i look at it thoughtfully, the black smoke providing a stark contrast against the blinding snow.
“I know. It’s just sad. And it’ll be sad forever, but i think- in time you get further away from the hurt, you know? Life must go on.” We start to share the cigarette, exhaling out into the open air.
“Say, Mary does like to smoke though. Maybe we could cheer her up?” I broach the idea carefully, knowing that Mary had a distaste for the boys, not without reason, of course. But still, I wondered if taking Angus with me was the best idea.
“When Hunham fell asleep last night- i” He laughs lightly
“What did you do?”
“He- he’d drank a lot of that brandy, and i might’ve grabbed the ring of keys from his bedside when i knew he definitely was out. I mayyyyyy have done a bit of a tour of the place, and i know for a fact that Principal Endicott has a drawer filled with Marlboros. And lemon sherbets- but that’s less important.” He seems emboldened by sharing this secret with me.
“You- WOW… i can’t believe you did that!” I couldn’t help but giggle.
“I had to, i was indebted to since you brought me back my picture.”
I smile. “Did you take any out?” He smirks and nods back at me, i’m very clearly impressed.
“We should bring Mary some - last time i saw her she told me she’s rationing hers because she won’t be able to get out to town till past Christmas.” He hands me a fully wrapped packet from the pocket of his windbreaker, i turn it over in my hands with a chuckle. “Good find.”
When we arrived at Mary’s quarters, i led, and knocked on the door twice. We exchanged a sort of nervous look before it opened.
“Oh! What are you two doing here?” She asks, her Boston accent thick.
“It was actually Angus’ idea, he uh- came across some of these, you mentioned you’d been down on them and you wouldn’t be able to get any more before Christmas?” I pass her the pack. SHe beams at us, though does seem surprised at Angus’ involvement.
“You got these for me?” She points to Angus, he has a bit of a timid look now, far from his usual gruff and annoyed disposition.
“I did.” Mary smiles appreciatively, turning back to me.
“Well, thank you both very much. You know, not many of those boys out there even think twice about me, it means a lot to me that you have.” Her tone is warm and sweet, she reminded me of many women i’d known from home, and it filled me with so much pride to see we’ve made her happy. I admired the way her face dimpled when she smiled, even in such a hard time, she was filled with so much grace. She explained though, that she couldn’t stay and was soon needed in the kitchen to prepare whatever was in the walk-in for this evening. We let her go and start walking back to the infirmary together, sharing another cigarette. Angus was the first to talk.
“D’you think i’m back in her good graces?” He passes it to me, i inhale.
“Absolutely. Well ‘n truly.” I say affirmatively. “Though, i was quite impressed with you, i mean, you were really just sneaking about like that? All night? I mean- how did you kill the time?”
“Well, i figured if i can’t go home, i might as well make the most of my time here. I regretted not waking you up to join me, but i figured you needed the sleep. I started in the library-”
An unfamiliar, and deafening sound interrupted us, it sounded like mad whooshing and whirling, like standing too close to an airplane propeller. As we rounded the corner of the building we saw it. Jason’s dad. And his helicopter we’d been hearing about non-stop.
Angus made quick work of the cigarette, throwing it behind a pot plant quickly as to not get in trouble. The other boys were crowded on the grass around the helicopter already, and we urgently ran up to see what was going on, and with awe Jason told us; “My dad said as long as you guys can get permission from your parents, you’re welcome to come with us out to the Alps! Who can ski?”
I had never even seen a pair of skis in real life, let alone use them. I knew Angus had been itching to get out of Barton, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity, almost too good and too perfect. I did wonder about Mary though, would she feel abandoned if we all got up and left? I couldn’t do that to her.
After all the boys were taking turns phoning their parents, it was Angus’ turn and then mine.
After the third ring i knew we weren’t getting anywhere. The realisation that he’d have to stay at Barton after all absolutely crushed what was left of the joy in his face, and i felt my heart break for him. He couldn’t even get a hold of his own mother, too preoccupied in her own honeymoon to call her only son.
I saw his face start to redden, the embarrassment and shame clear on his expression.
“Hey, hey look…” I try to give him a reassuring pat on his shoulder.
“I’ll stay. I don’t need to go skiing, i don’t even know how…”
My heart swelled at his reaction, his lip trembled as he turned to me
“are you sure? I can’t- i can’t ask you to do that.” I shake my head.
“you don’t have to. I’ll stay. the snow is prettier here anyway.” I try to smile but it comes across as weak. It was his turn to shake his head. I can see in his face all he wanted was the phone to suddenly ring back, so he wouldn’t feel indebted to me, and we’d all be able to go skiing together, but it was too good to be true after all. He pulls me into a tight hug and manages a soft and whispered “Thank you.”
