Oooh also how do you feel about fusion foods? If someone were to fuse Palestinian food with say. Mexican cuisine. How do you feel about that? Everyone has personal opinions about fusion foods so I’d like to hear yours, esp if you think there’s a cuisine that could pair well!
(I say Mexican bc I saw a Palestinian fish dish (hehe) that seemed to remind people of a similar dish from Mexico!)
i'm chill with it, i think it'd be cool!! although many palestinians are very traditional and don't want to change our ways, i don't see the harm in mashing up some foods. a palestinian and mexican mashup sounds delicious!! as long as it works out i don't see the problem. better than whatever the fuck "chocolate hummus" the crackers invented.

Cultures are the tapestries of human existence—vivid, dynamic, and profoundly interconnected.
From the aromatic allure of cuisines to the rhythmic complexities of languages and the rich traditions of customs, every culture offers a window into the souls of its people.
Throughout history, humans have migrated, crossed seas and mountains, shifted borders, and mingled narratives, creating a beautiful mosaic of shared histories and divergent paths.
Take Israeli cuisine, for example.
It’s a vibrant fusion that mirrors the diverse heritage of the Jewish people. From the aromatic spices of the Middle East to the hearty stews of Eastern Europe, each dish tells a story of migration and settlement.
Jews returning from diasporas across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East brought with them culinary traditions as varied as the lands from which they came.
These traditions have mingled on the Israeli table, creating a cuisine characterized by its diversity and the capacity to unite flavors in astonishing ways.
This blend of tastes and traditions serves as a reminder: the land we live on is not really ours; it belongs to the planet. We are merely tenants here, not owners.
In this light, embracing and celebrating different cultures becomes a path to greater happiness and understanding.
Whether it's through enjoying a plate of hummus, dancing to a klezmer melody, or learning a few phrases in another tongue, every small act of cultural appreciation enriches our lives, making the global village a more connected and joyful place.
So, let's celebrate the diversity around us.
Dive into the myriad of cultures, foods, music, and languages.
You'll find that in celebration, there is a profound joy and a deeper connection to the world and its people.
You will be so much happier.

Vikings + modern food
A/N: first of all, I am SO honored to be ur first choice for your first request.
Second of all, disclaimer, I do not hate ppl with lactose intolerance, it’s just very funny to me when my brother knowingly consumes sth with excessive amounts of milk and then sprints to the toilet five minutes after finishing his food
Third of all, this was so fun to write and also i've been hoarding this imagine like some goblin creature bc i was so excited to post it. had to do it early after reading heart of winter (we need more bragi)
Tagged: @alicedopey, @bragisrunes (message/comment if you want to be added to any taglist)
Masterlist | based on this request | requests are OPEN!
Here are some foods I think you could achieve in 800 AD in Kattegat:
Pizza, if there are tomatoes from the Mediterranean
Italian noodles (I think you could defo manage Alfredo sauce and chicken, and noodles are just flour + water + egg maybe)
Some steak with sauteed onions and all that other good shii
Maybe, possibly, if the trade gods are feeling generous, soup dumplings and other Chinese foods (the biggest problem here would be the spices and the rice, since a lot of Chinese food has pretty simple ingredients)
Sashimi
Tuscan salmon (again the Mediterranean ppl have to pull up with them tomatoes)
Ice cream if it’s snowing for long enough and you have Tupperware to bury your fruits with you
Hummus if the middle eastern ppl pull up to Kattegat with Tahini and chickpeas
Things you could definitely not achieve (I am saying this having done 0 research):
Smoothies (blender)
Choco/vanilla ice cream
Anything vanilla/chocolate flavored
Sushi (nori + rice)
Several tier cakes
Anything involving huge (or any) amounts of refined sugar, food coloring or artificial flavours
Anything that has to be tempered or cooled down at an exact temperature
Anything that requires an airfryer, thermomix or other fancy cooking utensils I can’t afford  (rn)
Anything fried (how temperature? How so much oil? Maybe if u go to the blacksmith ig)
Mexican food (cries in guacamole and fajitas)
Ragnar
Very suspicious but tries it
You made Linguine Alfredo for the whole fam (Ragnar+Lagertha+Bjorn+Gyda+Athelstan)
Is lactose intolerant
Major L lol
Bjorn laughs when he comes back after one hour of shitting
Lagertha
Appreciates the Alfredo
Does not appreciate shitting husband
When Ragnar declares that it’s worth the risk
She declares the toilet (i think? maybe a hole in the ground?) is worth cleaning
Regardless, she asks you to teach her how to make pasta
Makes very good viking pasta afterwards
Bjorn (as a child bc I stanned him back then :’) )
Stans you for making his dad violently shit
Also stans pasta alfredo
Asks you to cook more, and promises to set the table for you
When your making spaghetti Bolognese, he hands you cream and asks you to sneak it in
You almost do
Gyda
She’s shyer about talking to you, but asks you to make more modern foods
Will help you get the ingredients and cook
If you use a fish she caught for cooking, she’ll cry with happiness
Is the most capable in making modern foods
Fascinated by ice cream
Makes Bjorn taste test everything she cooks before serving
He does it under one condition: trigger Ragnar’s lactose intolerance
Athelstan
Also very skeptical
Loves stuff that’s a fusion between modern and old
Suspicious of your cooking after the Alfredo-incident
He would love Tuscan salmon though
And soup dumplings
Why? It’s a form of bread + soup + warm. That’s why.
tagging @demon-of-the-ancient-world here for obvious reasons
Aslaug
Big fan of Chinese food
She tried modern food to prove to Ragnar that she would not loose control over her bowels bc of a large amount of cream
When she finds out about chopsticks it’s over for you
She eats everything with chopsticks
Thinks it’s more elegant than anything else
Defo a utensils gal
Ubbe
Grew up with the infamous story of the Alfredo incident (we’re going with that timeline in his case too, but not for the other characters)
Regardless, he’s ready to sacrifice his dignity to try something new
Very not lactose intolerant, and rubs it in Ragnar’s face
Loves a medium raw steak
Asks you to cook for him, but you’ll be able to teach him instead
Hvitserk
You give him pizza as a surprise
Looses his shit (not like Ragnar, in a more metaphorical sense here)
Making bread with toppings and baking it and eating it warm? Genius, why didn’t he think of that.
I just know he would gobble up that spicy salami pizza
Is okay with simpler toppings too
Loves everything you make for him, creates scary fusions
Sigurd
Skeptical. Extremely
He likes bean stew and boiled chicken
But not for long
Sucker for spicy foods
Also likes dumplings a lot
Will take them with him in the steamer for a picknick date
Ivar
Can absolutely NOT eat spicy food
Which Sigurd so laughs about
Eats slightly seasoned curry while tears are streaming down his face (manly tears)
Does not take milk to numb it down
You know those wontons with the spicy sauce that are hella good?
Yeah, he loves them without the sauce.
Clocks Sigurd in the jaw when he pours the sauce over Ivar’s not spicy ones
Heahmund
Idk if this is my hc or just personal distaste for this man and his weird ass voice showing through
Cannot handle spicy food (more homoerotic bonding ground for him and ivar yay!)
Does not like modern food (loser)
Secretly is lactose intolerant
Would probably die from a whiff of peanuts
Sticks to boiled chicken and beans (no salt!!!)
Alfred
Didn’t he go to the Vatican or something?
Got a taste for them Italian dishes
Idk if they already had pasta but that’s not the point
Alfred is a man of the world (at least at the dinner table)
Eats everything and anything you make
Yes, he sends hvitserk on a diplomatic mission to find new food
But only bc hvitserk begged him
Would shake his ass in front of his entire court for the mysterious loaded nachos you’ve described to him
Judith
Supports everything Alfred does
Tries his food with him
Oh man, if Sigurd and Judith ever met, they would have a spice eating contest
It delights her to mix two seeds of pepper into the food and watch some lord have a nervous breakdown
Could eat ghost pepper raw
As long as it burns her mouth, it’s good
Knows about the Alfredo incident in said timeline and uses it as a political weapon against the Vikings

Goodbye Grey Sky, Hello Blue - 20
Tumblr media
Summary: In an alternate universe where trains and zeppelins are still common forms of travel and the internet and cell phones exist, nineteen year old Peter Parker has few options left after he’s swindled out of his inheritance. Unable to pay for college, let alone keep the house left to him by his deceased aunt, he’s running out of time before he’s out on the streets. Desperate, Peter signs his life over to the Bureau of Civic Spousal Selections to take his chances as the selected husband of a complete stranger. After all, he only has to make it through a year and then he can choose to annul.
Dr. Stephen Strange has little interest in marriage, preferring to focus on his career. When his career is threatened by what a nosy board of directors considers a “lack of personal fulfillment and settling down,” he opts to select a spouse through the BCSS and chooses Peter Parker. The young man’s profile he’d briefly skimmed suggests intelligence and compatibility. It’s not ideal, but if after a year it’s not working out, he can always annul the marriage and send Peter on his way.
It’s a marriage neither truly wants, with sharp learning curves for both. It’s either going to be forever or it’s going to go down in flames.

Chapter 20
--------
Stephen and Tony were standing in the kitchen, watching as a technician carefully installed the new cold cabinet. There were various wires still visible, and Stephen put an arm out to stop Peter from getting too close. “They’re supposedly dead, but it’s best to not risk it,” he said.
“I get shocked one time…” Tony started.
“It was three times,” Stephen interrupted, voice flat. “And I refuse to go down in history as the man whose house killed Tony Stark.”
“Smart man,” the technician - Scott - said. “And I’ll have some diagnostics to run to make sure this cabinet runs smoothly and won’t blow the circuits for everything else, but I think we’re in good shape.”
“They’re not going to blow any circuits,” Tony said confidently. “I did all of the wiring myself.”
“I still have to run diagnostics, Boss,” Scott said. “Something about procedures and keeping OSHA and the techie’s union from getting too concerned.”
“Work, Lang,” Tony reminded him, though he was smiling, pleased.
“Did you eat lunch?” Peter asked. “Or was Sharon overestimating the remaining competence in the house?”
Stephen’s eyes narrowed; Peter simply smiled. “We had sandwiches and cut vegetables with some of the hummus you made,” Stephen explained.
“Well, I’m off to shower,” Sharon announced. Tony looked over, interested. “You’re not joining me,” she added.
“I think Tony took the last towel, I’ll come up and grab more,” Stephen said. He looked at Peter. “Make sure he doesn’t kill himself or Scott.”
“I’ll see what I can do,” Peter said. “But I’m only one person.”
Tumblr media
Sure enough, the towels in the bathroom were used up and Stephen grabbed a few more because Peter himself would need a shower after Sharon.
He handed her two and left the other on the bed for Peter and went downstairs.
Tony was still alive, as was Scott. Peter was sitting at the breakfast table with a book, occasionally glancing over to make sure the house wasn’t burning down.
“After Peter has his turn in the shower, he and I are going to go to the hardware store, maybe swing by a few other places,” Tony said.
“Oh?” Stephen asked. “You are, are you?”
Tony grinned. “Peter and I will do some manly science bonding and you can fuss over Sharon and make sure I’m not keeping her locked in the basement.”
“She’d be the one to keep you locked in the basement,” Stephen said with a scoff. “She’s the trained interrogator.”
“That she is,” Tony agreed. “And she’s an accomplished liar, so she’ll definitely be able to convince you I don’t keep her locked in the basement.”
Stephen just shook his head. He’d missed Tony’s antics. Marriage suited the man.
“Diagnostics all check out,” Scott said, coming up from the basement where the electrical box was housed. “And I went ahead and took a look around and you’ll need some more work if you want to finish out the basement the way you were talking about, but it can definitely be done.”
“What are we talking?” Tony asked him.
Scott and Tony had a conversation that Stephen didn’t understand, but he could see that Peter somewhat did. Well, Peter was going to be a scientist before he ended up saddled to Stephen, so that made sense.
He followed Peter upstairs when Sharon came down and despite Peter’s blushing protests, made to join him in the shower.
“Seriously?” Peter hissed out, watching as Stephen undressed. “Again?”
“If you don’t want an uncaged orgasm than I’d be more than happy to cage you back up and leave you to it,” Stephen said.
Annoyed, but clearly thinking a proper orgasm would be great, Peter stopped complaining and stepped back to allow Stephen into the shower.
Tumblr media
Sharon didn’t say anything when Peter and Stephen came back downstairs, both with their hair still a bit damp. Tony just smirked and Peter felt his cheeks flush with embarrassment. He was glad Stephen felt comfortable around his friends, but did he have to make it so obvious? There was definitely canned soup in the man’s future, once their guests were gone.
“Alright, can I steal Peter away now?” Tony asked. “We have science to discuss.”
Sharon rolled her eyes. “I didn’t steal him away,” she said. “I wanted to go for a run and if I hadn’t had a running partner, you’d have been too focused on tracking the damn chip in my neck to do any good here. Where you on your mobile when you got shocked?”
Tony looked away.
“He was,” Stephen confirmed at the same time Sharon’s words registered with Peter.
“He put a tracking chip in you?!” He near shouted, horrified at the thought of her being chipped like she was some kind of pet dog.
“Considering I was almost abducted less than a month after I married Tony, it seemed like a smart idea,” Sharon said easily, unconcerned. She met his gaze. “Tony has one, too.”
“Our rings are tracked,” Stephen reminded him. “Though that’s more of a government keeping tabs on its assets.”
Slowly, Peter nodded as he considered it all. “You’re really okay with it?”
“I am,” she confirmed with a smile. “It’s comforting to know the one you love will burn down the world if that’s what it takes to get you back.”
The look she and Tony shared was so intense Peter had to look away. When he did, Stephen leaned down. “That’s enough about that,” he whispered. “Don’t be rude.”
“So, hardware store?” He offered weakly.
Tony grinned. “Yep. Got a few things to buy and we need to give the new cold cabinet time to reach temperature. I figure we can discuss that paper of yours while these two,” he nodded at Stephen and Sharon. “Discuss whatever it is they discuss when I’m not around.”
"I just tell him about all my classified missions with the Bureau, since he and I have the whole doctor-patient confidentiality thing going for us.
Stephen snorted. She viewed her missions the same way he viewed his patients.
“Rude,” Tony said with a pout.
Tumblr media
After Tony and Peter absconded with Stephen’s Buick, Stephen and Sharon settled themselves in the den to play cards.
“Did you enjoy your run with Peter?” Stephen asked.
“I did. The park is a good one and Peter is good company,” Sharon said as she dealt the cards.
“You have what, two or three more months before running will start to be uncomfortable?”
Sharon looked up sharply, sucking in a breath.
“Doctor,” he reminded her. “The public wouldn’t know since you’re not showing yet but it’s easy for me to tell. I can only assume Tony doesn’t know; else he’d be crowing nonstop about how he’s reached the pinnacle of masculine achievement.”
Sharon snorted. “No, he doesn’t know yet. I’m planning on telling him after we get back to Malibu. I doubt he’d have let me travel if he’d known.”
“He’s going to be unbearable.” He studied his cards, discarded then drew one.
“You’re telling me!” She sobered. “And I wanted to get past the second month at least. I didn’t get that far last time.”
“There’s no chance of the same circumstances,” Stephen said gently. “He’s locked away where he can’t harm you or anyone else.”
“I know. Maybe in another life everything would have worked out.” She sighed. “But this is working out and I know that Tony will be an amazing father.”
“He will,” Stephen agreed. “And you’ll be a wonderful mother.”
They played a few rounds, evenly matched.
“Do you have any concerns?” he asked as they started their fifth round.
“About your marriage to Peter, my pregnancy, or my tracking down Quentin Beck?”
“Any of the above, I suppose,” he said.
She drew a card, frowned, and added it to her hand.
When she started laying her cards down for Gin, he groaned in annoyance. Between her and Peter, his ego as relates to cards was taking severe hits.
“First of all,” she began. “I think Peter’s a very nice young man.” She continued sharing her thoughts and Stephen, well-aware her guidance wasn’t something to scoff at, listened as he shuffled the deck and dealt another hand.
Tumblr media
Tony Stark was, as Stephen had repeatedly told him, just another man, Peter realized.
He was brilliant, sure. And he was personable and funny and Peter really liked him. He was just so normal, especially for a man who’d made it his life’s work to build things to help fix and improve the same world his father had once created weapons to destroy.
“What is it we’re looking for, exactly?” Peter asked.
Tony shrugged. “Anything that catches our eye, really.”
“So, there’s no plan?”
“Eh, I have a vague idea of what I need to get so your taller half can finish out the basement and set up some deep freezers, and the treadmill I’ll have delivered.”
Peter gaped. “He’s seriously going through with all of that?”
“What? It’s not like he can’t afford it, and I doubt you really want to have to run in the rain or snow if you don’t have to.” Tony studied him, apparently taken aback at his shock.
“But if he annuls when our year is up, then he’s basically just wasted his money,” Peter argued.
“And if he doesn’t annul, then you have a top-of-the-line finished basement at your disposal,” Tony countered.
“You don’t think I’d be the one to do it?” Peter asked curiously.
“I don’t know you,” Tony said simply, studying the various brackets for wiring. “I can’t really guess what you’d do.”
Peter wasn’t sure which one of them would annul, or if they even would. His focus had always been on surviving a year. He truly didn’t know how Stephen felt since he kept things locked tighter than a fortress, even with his attempts to be more open. If he had to wager a guess, he could only assume that Stephen wouldn’t end things since being married seemed to make his professional life easier.
For all Peter knew, if their marriage didn’t work out, there was nothing to stop Stephen from repeating the process with someone else.
That thought hit him like the awful sour candies his Aunt May’s friend Gilda had always tried to push on him. He definitely didn’t know how to feel about that.
“We’re not even at the half-year mark,” Peter said finally. “It’s a little too early to say.”
“Fair enough.”
They ended up with a truly baffling assortment of materials that clearly made perfect sense to Tony.
“Right. Do you need to stop anywhere else?” Tony asked.
The lubricant, Peter remembered.
“Um. The five-and-dime.”
Tumblr media
Once finished, Tony insisted he needed coffee, and they went into the local coffee and confectionary shop for a cup. They got their drinks along with a plate of pastries and sat.
“Now, tell me about this medical spider silk idea of yours. I have to admit, the theory is intriguing.”
This, Peter could do. In great detail.
“It’s not a theory,” Peter admitted, after going over the finer details of his research and conclusions. “It works.”
“Peter, you know better than that. It’s never been tested. You never submitted samples or a formula or anything,” Tony pointed out.
He debated if he really wanted to share it all, and then figured if not with Tony Stark, then with who?
“I read the fine print when I was chosen to submit my article to the journal, and any formula or intellectual property would have belonged to the Van Dyne School of Science, not me. That’s why I never wrote it down. But,” he continued. “I did test it and it does work.”
“Prove it.” Tony said finally.
“To do that I’d have to take my coat and shirt off,” Peter said, slightly embarrassed at the admission. He had a series of small, thin scars on either of his upper arms. His right side was more visible, but the left side? His formula for the medical spider silk worked. They were barely visible. The physicians at the BCSS hadn’t even registered them.
Tony frowned, then his eyes went wide when he realized what Peter was getting at. “You tested it on yourself!”
“Yeah. Controlled testing, even, because I had to know. I wasn’t about to theorize something in a publication like that unless I was sure of it.”
“Then why not try to do it now?” Tony asked. “I know Stephen; he wouldn’t stop you, not for something like this. Hell, he’d support you and connect you with investors!”
“Because it still wouldn’t be mine,” Peter said quietly. “It would be his. And if it’s his, there’s every chance the hospital, or it’s donors, or whoever would pressure him to sell it. Then the formula would be compromised, because of corporate greed. And then people would get hurt.”
He needed Tony to understand that he couldn’t let that happen. He couldn’t do something that would lead to people getting hurt. That would go against everything he believed in.
“If your circumstances hadn’t gone the way they did, what would you have worked towards?” Tony asked after long moments of sipping and studying his coffee and eating one of the fruit-filled pastries.
“Starting my own company for bio-chemical research specializing in medical applications,” he admitted quietly. The pain of losing that dream had hurt but he’d started making peace with it.
He didn’t have a bad life now. Sure, he was a selected spouse in a marriage he’d never wanted, but he didn’t hate or even resent Stephen. He could even in good conscience call himself content most days.
The sex certainly wasn’t terrible. He enjoyed when Stephen was completely focused on him and pleasure. Even the times when Peter’s cock remained locked away were pleasurable in a way he’d never imagined. He liked the way Stephen would surround him, caging him against his body, and handle him. It was so achingly intimate.
The day-to-day structures he had now were steadying, particularly after how chaotic his life had been those few months leading up to his marriage. He enjoyed the routine and consistency of it all. He mostly knew what to expect and while others might balk at it, he couldn’t. He needed the peace it brought.
Even with all of that though… knowing what could have been still ached sometimes.
“It would have been a hell of a company,” Tony said.
“Maybe. But life’s not exactly terrible now.” He knew what he was about to ask would be a tall order. “Please, don’t tell Stephen any of this.”
Tony sighed, looking uncomfortable before he finally nodded. “Okay. I won’t.”
“Thank you.”
Tumblr media
Dinner was once again spent at a restaurant - the very same one Stephen had taken Peter to a couple of times. They were seated at a table rather than a booth, and Peter felt just a bit exposed.
Tony asked Stephen what wine he’d like and Stephen shook his head. “Peter’s gotten me rather fond of lemon fizzy water,” he admitted.
“Share-Bear?”
“Works for me,” she said. “I’d like cherry, however.”
“When in Sanctum Heights, I suppose,” Tony said with a sigh.
Drinks delivered and orders placed, the four of them continued talking. Sharon spoke of the charity work she did in Malibu establishing libraries for several underprivileged daycare facilities. (Tony hung on her every word, pride and adoration all over his face.) Stephen shared that the country’s top neurological association had invited him to speak at the annual conference after the new year. (News to Peter, though he tried to hide his surprise.) Tony casually mentioned some initiative for something called “green energy” he was tossing around. And Peter… there wasn’t much he could add.
“Anything you’d like to get back into, now that you’re settling into life here?” Sharon asked.
“I enjoyed helping younger children with their Hebrew at my old Synagogue back in Midtown,” he said after wracking his mind. “I had a knack for it, so maybe I’ll look into something like that.”
“How did that work?” Tony asked.
“There were adults that taught them the reading and writing part, so I’d find books that had been translated and I’d read to them at story time. The immersion helps a lot.”
“That’s amazing,” Sharon said, looking at him as if he were the most adorable thing she’d ever seen. “Learning languages can be so tricky.”
“You speak six!” Tony chided.
“And like I said, it’s tricky!” she defended, cutting her gaze to him. “Gizon jasangaitza.”
“You know what? I’m going to pretend you just called me the world’s greatest lover,” he said with a pout.
Stephen chuckled.
“Ah, Stephen! Fancy seeing you out tonight!”
The easy grin on Stephen’s face faded. Peter saw a couple approaching their table, a handsome man escorting a stunning blonde woman.
“Dr. Richards, Dr. Storm,” he greeted.
“You must be Peter,” the woman said to him. “We’ve been so happy to hear that Stephen has settled down.”
“Peter,” Stephen said. “This is my colleague Dr. Reed Richards and his wife, Dr. Susan Storm.” He turned his attention to the interlopers. “My husband, Peter Strange. You already know Tony Stark and his wife Sharon Carter-Stark.”
Tony and Sharon each nodded in greeting, perfectly polite.
“It’s wonderful to see you again, Sharon,” Reed said. “You look lovely.”
She inclined her head graciously.
“We’ll continue on our way out,” Susan said. “We just wanted to say hello. I’m so looking forward to inviting you and Stephen over for dinner; I’ve been learning all about how to cook for your dietary needs.”
Surprised, Peter nodded. “We’ll look forward to it.”
The couple left and Peter felt the weight of Stephen’s stare. “What?”
“We’ll look forward to it?” Stephen asked skeptically.
“I’m not going to be rude to people I’ve just met,” Peter said defensively. “And if I had been, you know it would have reflected badly on you and you’d still be upset!”
“I didn’t realize you were still feuding with Reed,” Tony said.
“It’s less a feud and more of my extreme disgust at his lack of professional ethics while he continues to believe he did the right thing,” Stephen said tightly.
“Stephen,” Sharon said kindly. “You don’t have to ke-”
“Yes, I do,” Stephen interrupted, in a rare moment of aggravation towards her. He winced and apologized before continuing, “I do. Or I have no right to call myself a doctor.”
Peter placed his hand over Stephen’s and actually felt him relax at the touch.
“Any thoughts on what you’d like for me to cook tomorrow night and Friday night?” Peter asked.
“Stephen’s raved about your chicken and dumplings,” Tony offered. “I wouldn’t say no to that.”
“As long as it’s not liver, I’m fine,” Sharon said. “Like Tony said, I don’t complain about free food.”
“I could always look into getting field rations,” Peter teased. “So you’ll feel more at home.”
“And I’ll have an entire meal of bacon-wrapped shrimp waiting for you in Malibu the next time you visit,” she teased back.
He laughed, even though he could see the exasperated looks Tony and Stephen were exchanging.
Dinner ended up an enjoyable and mostly relaxing affair.
At least, no one else stopped by to bother them.
Tumblr media
They played cards for an hour or two before bedtime beckoned them. (Sharon won. They all could count cards with ease, but the woman was a spy who’d been trained to withstand torture.) The evening ablutions ritual repeated and though he still blushed furiously, Peter didn’t argue with Stephen when he was told to come to bed.
What was the point? When their guests were just going to spend the night similarly occupied and with less shame? When he himself wanted to feel Stephen’s hands on him and in him?
“I see you’ve purchased more lubricant,” Stephen praised. “Good.”
“I’m not the one paying for it,” Peter reminded him flippantly. “It’s your name on the account at the five-and-dime.”
“Brat,” Stephen chided with a smirk. “I’ll have to remind you of your place.”
Stephen did, and the squeaking of their bed drowned out any other noises in the house that night.
--------
And a fun little graphic I made for Sharon and Tony in this AU. ❤️💙
