Been playing a lot of Wynncraft lately, especially after the 2.0 update, so I decided to make actual Characters out of my different profiles!

This is Zephyr (she/her), a half-enderman Mage with a specialization into the Light Bender archetype <3

Her palette is heavily inspired by the Warped Forest biome in the nether, and the eye motif on her cloak is one that’s shared by all of my Wynn characters for Fun Backstory Reasons that I won’t bore yall with here :p

ingo voice emmet i dont think we're in pokemon anymore

i just think the very coincidental amnesia thing between pla ingo and the way guardians work in destiny is really funny to think about. ingo and emmet both get rezzed in a dilapidated subway 200 years after the great war, and they dont take well to the violence part of guardian responsibilities, but by god can they evacuate citizens. thank fuck warlock armor is basically just a coat and nice pants and shiny boots anyways i dont play warlocks i cant make up armor for them

in an attempt to subvert expectations (for... myself), i gave ingo Void and emmet Stasis. if i draw them like this again im just gonna go Solar and Arc bc sometimes the obvious answer rlly is the correct one

sketch doodle that didn't make it in: ingo's ghost has a custom shell shaped like Chandelure, and emmet's ghost has an Eelektross one. i then thought about making them both Klinklangs, and then i just scrapped the ghosts altogether

please explain The Nightmare Stick

Disclaimer: I am neither a farmer nor a squash expert. I am just a Certified Hater of Vine Borers.

The Nightmare Stick is my latest strategy in a long, vigilant struggle against these motherfuckers. Year after year, I had lost countless beautiful, innocent squash plants, and last year they had targeted my (ripening!!!) pumpkins.

The Nightmare Stick is a long, sharpened piece of wire I added barbs to. To use The Nightmare Stick, simply locate the affected vine, make a small incision near the root with a sharp knife, insert The Nightmare Stick, and go Hogwild, then remove. (I did this 2-3 times per vine because I was Full of Hate. Probably unneccessary. The plants lived though!)

As an experiment, I Used The Nightmare Stick on all my squash plants, then applied some neem oil over the open parts just on my zuchinnis. My poor pumpkins finished ripening, but stopped fruiting and died halfway through the season (I think I caught them too late tbh. The vines were already kinda sawdusty when I Found Out.) The zucchinis, though, outlasted the entire rest of my garden.

➛ You and Satan have a little competition on how many cats you're able to spot in a month. Though you suspect he just uses that as an excuse to drag you out of the house with him more often because you "wouldn't have equal opportunities if you weren't out and about".

➛ Trying out recipes with Beel! He's the perfect taste tester (as long as you're the one providing the taste tests and as long as you keep an eye on whatever you're cooking at all times lest it disappear when you look away), imperfect attempts mean free food, and the satisfaction of both spending time with him and making something the whole house can enjoy in the end makes all the mild annoyance that comes with first tries worth it

➛ If you somehow manage to fall asleep in someplace other than one of the bedrooms, expect to find a blanket/coat draped over you c/o Lucifer, and/or an unexpected cuddle buddy in Mammon or Belphegor

➛ Asmo being Asmo, he probably has a lot of gifts addressed to him, be it samples of unreleased/limited edition beauty products or little care packages gifted by one of his admirers. As much as he appreciates them, he can't use all of them at once, so every month or so, he gives a portion of the gifts to the rest of the House. Isn't that generous of him~?

January 17th. It had bled into late morning. She still hadn't moved.

The room echoed with the memories of one of the worst days of her life.

That it also held memories of one of the best didn't really help, only served to make her feel guilty for hurting.

The phone rang again.

She ignored it.

Again.

Absently she felt some shuffling behind her, loosely aware but still mostly out of it.

"Moshi Moshi," the boy chirped, trying to be quiet, yet not quite succeeding.

"Daikichi-chan?"

"Oh! Uncle Tenshi!"

"Where is your mother?"

"Oh. Mama is right here. Today is bad."

"What do you mean 'today is bad'?"

"Mama is sad. She won't get up."

"What do mean, she won't get up?"

She sighed, and rolled slightly, startling the small boy. The note of agitated almost-hysteria she caught from the faint voice on the line drawing her out just enough.

"Give mama the phone baby, it's ok."

The tiny hand passed the device over, and he curled into her, pressing as close as having a physical body would allow.

"Hello, Kenshi. Did you need something?"

She sounded tired. Worn. Absent. Even to herself she could hear the wrong.

"What is wrong with you?" to the point, no nonsense.

She snorted, he apparently wasn't in the mood for bullshit or pretend niceties today. "What isn't, Kenshi," blatant self deprecation was unusual, she normally at least tried to make a joke of it, "It's just a bad day. I do have them too yanno."

The line was quiet for a moment.

"What can I do?" 

She blinked, and combed her fingers through Kichi's curls.

"I don't think there's anything you can do. Anything anyone can do. The memories aren't going to just go away," she huffed a soft laugh, "Unless you want to hunt someone down for me."

"That could be arranged," so matter of fact and plainly stated.

This was something he could do, at least. Familiar territory. Easy.

"You don't even know who I'm talking about."

"So tell me."

She breathed for a moment, deep, trying to settle the cold unrest in her chest, "Maybe another time. What did you need?"

"It doesn't matter," a blasé dismissal.

"It does, it always does," she paused a beat, "Come over, for dinner."

"Am I going to end up cooking?" he already knew the answer, and it wasn't although he minded. He couldn't let her off too easily though.

"Do you mind?"

"If you were anyone else, Kimi-hime," his voice dripped in condescension, threaded with fondness.

"If I were anyone else, you probably would have stabbed me by now," her flat delivery betrayed by the amusement sinking into her tone.

His indulgent laugh was interrupted by a small voice, little body half splayed over her, "No stabbing mommy!"

She laughed, an exaggerated put upon sigh in her ear.

"Yes, yes, no stabbing mommy. I'll be there in a few hours."
