It is so fucking frustrating to see people change their minds only because it is now affecting them. The lack of empathy and the intellectual dishonesty it takes to maintain a pro-life, anti-choice stance is maddening.

We have a WEALTH of evidence as to why banning abortion is objectively a bad thing. But they don't care about facts or evidence. They are too emotionally tied to 'BUT BUT BABIES!'

I hope this story does change minds, but it won't change enough. Not while we have an active movement that spreads lies (The religious right) and politicians who keep trying to force this issue.

And like... the majority of Americans are pro-choice! Something like 85% of Americans don't want abortion banned! But because of gerrymandering and political bullshit, it's being pushed and forced onto people who are against this! We have an extremist minority forcing their religious agenda on us.

I just watched John Oliver's video on abortion rights and it was nice to see that my favorite game of "let's see how long it takes for 'pro-life' people to admit they hate women" is still relevant.

It only took a couple of comments for anti-choicers to devolve into "women need to keep their legs shut." Absolutely no blame directed towards men who impregnate women because as we all know pregnancy only requires one person. Also, it was awesome seeing people defend the fact that anti-choicers don't support social welfare policies because "why should we have to pay for the consequences of you opening your legs?"

I do want to chew a bit and that's a literal sentence picture me chewing a nonphysical concept like gum on the lore of Dialtown with how phones are made because there is the intention to create this complexity around Callum and his decisions which I'M ALL FOR IT honestly because last time I saw a talking phone tell about his backstory I was left so shocked I had to take a break so it does make me wonder some things like... What even are the negatives of this? Of course it's an operation so it takes time and effort but even on top of that, what age is the surgery done at? How painful is the recovery?
