Just leaving this here.
At least somebody sees Azerbaijan’s bullshit for what it is.
My own country won’t do shit because it’s run by stupid old women who can’t even point out Armenia on a map, who’d rather we cut ourselves off from the world forever for the sake of “neutrality”.
Feel free to reblog.

The French Senate Committee Approves Amendment Allowing Cryptocurrency Companies to Hire Influencers for Advertising
Tumblr media
The French Senate's Committee on Economic Affairs approved a new amendment to legislation that would permit registered cryptocurrency companies to hire social media influencers for advertising and promotional purposes. The amendment modifies the original bill, which had limited influencer advertising for the crypto industry, to only those licensed by France's Financial Markets Authority, a bar that no cryptocurrency company currently meets. As all cryptocurrency companies in France are required to register with the AMF, the change in language in the amendment would allow companies registered with the AMF to pay influencers for promotion on social media without requiring a license. The proposed amendment must pass through the full Senate and the National Assembly for approval. Crypto Twitter has reacted positively to the

Only in Israel.
While taking shelter in a stairwell during a Hamas rocket attack on Tel Aviv, opposition leader Yair Lapid explains (via a translator) to the visiting president of the French Senate why Europe must stop sending money to the Palestinians.

Glad to see at least ONE EU member state (France) is calling out Azerbaijan’s bullshit.
Okay I don’t like Macron or his govt but at least that’s one thing they’re doing right.
(No I do NOT support Marie Laval either! She’s a heartless fascist who can choke on a bullet!)
(Most politicians in my country meanwhile are cowardly old women who think we shouldn’t take a stance on anything because it’ll apparently violate our precious “neutrality”. They probably couldn’t even point Armenia on a map.)
Reblog the shit out of this.

that last sentence is so powerful considering everything that's going on
including recent events in which french senators are currently trying to pass a bill to criminalize critiqueing the state of israel/ speaking up against zionism: "those who insult the state of israel would face two years imprisonment and a fine of EUR 75,000 "
imagine making it illegal to speak up against a state that has bombed civilians with white phosphorus
imagine making it illegal to speak up against a state that is carrying out collective punishment against the entire population in Gaza, as we speak
this might soon be the world we live in
