Gaza and all of Palestine have been under siege for decades, not only by bullets but also by economic sanctions. Belarus, China, Cuba, Iran, People’s Korea, Nicaragua, the Russian Federation, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe have had their economies targeted by U.S. and European banksters for destruction.
In response, the 16-nation Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) designated Oct. 25 as Anti-Sanctions Day. This year, thousands of people marched in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, on Oct. 25 to say No! to this economic warfare.

Yesterday, Joe Biden signed off on economic sanctions against the state of Texas disallowing that republic from exporting LNG (liquid natural gas)
The first act in a state of war is always sanctions
Tumblr media
I know what you are thinking,
Angie, the Biden admin only put a temporary pause on the pending approvals of LNG exports
The Biden admin's move is designed to act as a sanction against Texas… make no mistake
HERE
The export of LNG from Texas would likely be bound for countries in the EU; Germany, for example. Guess where Germany will get their LNG from… Russia Why would Biden do such of a thingy? Think Hunter… think Burisma Holdings

The Constitution of the United States of America was put in place to protect us from people like Joe Biden, Barrack Hussein Obama, George H W Bush, Paul Ryan, James Comey, and the Clintons; just to name a few

finished this comic (based on that wolf meme that's based on the proverb that's often falsely attributed to a mythic Cherokee elder...) ages ago & forgot about it, but these last weeks changed that...
I guess the "joke" is that it's easy to feel powerless, to feel rage and then burn out, or to act like all is well in order to create a false peace, but none of these things will change the world. we must hold each other close, breathe, and act out of love & not anger, so that we are able to act at all. there was a beautiful statement I came across this week that I can no longer find, something like: "you should not stand up to evil acts because you would hope that if our roles were reversed, I would do the same for you. that is patronage, not solidarity. solidarity is standing up for me, as I would for you, because it is part of the work of us creating a world where evil acts cannot take place." every voice that denounces this absolute global shame, this g3nocid3 unfolding before our eyes, that speaks beyond the alienation, the censorship, and the threats so needed to maintain such atrocities, is a voice that can carry us into a better world. so speak up.
learn from direct sources. and BOYCOTT! because human decency is not the language warmongers speak, it is money.

Nicolas Maduro responded to Trump's recent comments claiming that when he left office, Venezuela was on the brink of collapse thanks to the Trump Administration's blockade, sanctions and active measures by the CIA/State Dept.
youtube
"Ex-President of the United States, Donald Trump, declared his crime. A crime against humanity, against the people of Venezuela."
"He declared that the objective of his government and of the aggression and sanctions against Venezuela was to make Venezuelan society collapse so that the Imperialist power of the United States would seize Venezuelan oil, seize Venezuela's wealth."
"As a good lawyer would say, 'by the confession of the parties, there is no need for evidence.' Trump has declared his guilt in crimes against humanity against the noble and peaceful people of Venezuela."

Once again, nothing stays static, impunity expands, and when the rights to boycott and divest are stripped away for Palestinian solidarity, the right to use these same tools to push for climate action, gun control and LGBTQ+ rights are stripped away as well. In a way, this is an advantage, because it presents an opportunity to deepen alliances across movements. Every major progressive organization and union has a stake in protecting the right to boycott and divest as core tenets of free expression and critical tools of social transformation.
Naomi Klein in The Guardian. We have a tool to stop Israel’s war crimes: BDS
Enough. It’s time for a boycott.

By Wennys Díaz Ballaga Due to the complex economic situation of the country and, in particular, due to the limitations in the insurance of fuel, the conception of the celebrations for May 1st has been redesigned. Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, member of the Party's Political Bureau and general secretary of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba, reported at a press conference. In all the municipalities of the country, small parades or mass acts will be held in communities, bateyes, work and student centers, in which the resistance capacity of the working people and their commitment to constantly contribute to economic and social development of the nation will be recognized. The mobilizations, he said, will be promoted by neighborhood organizations, the National Association of Small Farmers, unions and the community, with the minimum use of transportation. The Secretary General of the CTC urged that a festive atmosphere prevail, although from the stands the continued war will be denounced, meaning the blockade of the U.S. Government and its insistence on keeping Cuba on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism in order to hinder all economic progress. In Havana, on May 1, the working people of the closest municipalities (Plaza de la Revolución, Old Havana, Centro Habana, Cerro and Playa) will gather on the Malecón, and local activities will be carried out in the rest.
