Yes my brain cooked up more Matthias Jung stuff even if I still didn’t share much of his lore hhh

It came to my attention that it wasn’t clear that Jung eventually works for Drachma, so I did a tiny overview with his different stages in life and their looks. + bonus eras I never shared with anyone until recently. More under the cut

Okay that was a lie because I do want to share too much yet? However it’s necessary to explain, that after leading the invasion of Briggs, Jung gets imprisoned in Central City. Normally he would’ve been sentenced to death because of his deeds, but some circumstances and a deal lead to him “only” getting a life sentence.

Prison is where he spends all of the fma canon story line and he’s surprisingly content with it. It gives him a lot of time to reflect on himself and his choices in the past. Not that he suddenly regrets everything he did because his actions still feel justified to him. Though he gets critical about himself and starts asking himself what type of man he wants to be.

Silly little fun fact: Jung’s cell is right next to Kimblee’s given how they’re both enemies of state. Much to Jung’s annoyance because Kimberly never shuts up and doesn’t offer conversation topics Jung is interested in. That man wants to sulk in silence, stop talking about explosions smh.

There’s another phase in his life that’s hinted in the first pic. I’ll explain that one in a different post.

Bonus: Jung tier list bc why not?

I’d put prison era Jung into the middle now tho. He’s still quite problematic there, but he’s trying and I think he looks cute with the beard and short hair.

The ones on the top are walking red flags (excep for prison era Jung, he’s on thin ice). The other ones are still arrogant, but they evoke a strong urge to pat his head in me.
