This 1989 home in North Salt Lake, Utah is a shape we've never seen before. It's kind of weird. 5bds, 2ba, $559,900, reduced by $5K. I don't know what they were trying to achieve, but it looks better from afar than it does up close.
Tumblr media
The living room isn't too spacious and is an odd shape.
Tumblr media
The dining area and kitchen.
Tumblr media
Hmmm, I don't know. I think that maybe they should've reduced it more than just $5K, b/c it's being sold as a fixer-upper. The kitchen is very small and dated. Wait. These are 2 different kitchens. I'm confused.
Tumblr media
I have no idea which of the 2 bedrooms they show are the primary. This one looks like the walls are some sort of faux suede fabric.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This room could also be the primary. I guess it's flexible.
Tumblr media
There is a driveway and a 2 car garage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The garage roof serves as a deck.
Tumblr media
The aerial view shows the rooftop deck.
Tumblr media
The lot measures .28 acre.

There are two kinds of rights at stake here: the rights to the master recordings of an artist’s work, and songwriting rights, known as publishing. One senior music publishing executive says their part of the business was ahead of the curve, explaining that publishing deals tend to work on exclusive licensing terms or retention periods. “Publishers pivoted from a rights-ownership business to the servicing of rights,” they say. Those retention periods are getting shorter, they add, down from about 25 years three decades ago to between 12 and 15 years today.
Message says he steers acts away from ownership-based contracts. “We have a default position that we won’t advise our artists to do life-of-copyright deals,” he says. “It’s not that we wouldn’t do them, but our strong advice would always be to come up with a licence arrangement of some description.”
This is the ideological underpinning of BMG and AWAL (Artists Without a Label), which is now under the ownership of Sony Music Entertainment. “The philosophy is flipping the relationship,” says Alistair Norbury, president of repertoire and marketing at BMG UK. “There had to be a fairer and more transparent way to work with the creative community.”
Acts on BMG’s roster – notably Kylie Minogue, Suede, Sigur Rós and Louis Tomlinson – are on licensing or assignment deals, so ownership of the recordings eventually reverts to them. “They want to be with a record label where they have creative control and ownership coming back to them at some point,” says Norbury.
AWAL sings from a similar hymn sheet. “AWAL emerged to help what we now call ‘independent artists’ to remain independent,” says Paul Hitchman, the company’s global COO. “Independent in the sense of owning their rights and retaining control over their career, but without having to compromise in terms of the expertise and support they can tap into, without having to compromise on the global reach and success that they can achieve.”
Norbury believes that, with more choices for acts, music companies have to repeatedly prove their worth and think about mutual gains rather than offering one-sided deals that are land grabs for all the rights. He says, “You want something successful in a long-term partnership rather than owning something that failed.”
In light of all this, the majors increasingly have to offer more flexible deal terms. They are also heavily investing in other artist and label services companies to gain a share of the boom in DIY and independent acts. Sony owns Awal and the Orchard. UMG has both Virgin Music Label & Artist Services and Ingrooves. Warner Music Group has Ada.
-
[Ed.: Louis Tomlinson’s licensing deal is with BMG. His publishing is through LT Publishing administered by Kobalt Music Group. This article implies that all rights for masters and publishing belong to Louis, and are licensed for a contracted period to BMG.]
[Ed.: In the second quarter of 2024, BMG has switched to in-house digital distribution and download services, and changed partners for physical distribution from Warner to UMG.]

A few Pernese dragon head concepts, based on different animal skulls, the author's descriptions, and Michael Whelan's art. To meet the book descriptions, Pernese dragon must have eye ridges, head knobs instead of ears, a wide field of vision through multifaceted eyes, smooth suede-like skin, and jaws capable of both grinding stone and predating large animals. I also decided to play around with the spectrum of Bronze while coloring the designs. I decided the Bronze palette should be a blend of Gold, Green, and Brown.
Equine: Classic horse headed Pernese dragon. Anne McCaffery described her dragons as having 'horse-like' heads, which could mean anything from wedge-shaped with large cheeks to recognizably equine.
Giraffine: This is how I pictured the dragons while reading the books as a kid. Giraffe and Okapi skulls look very draconic, have both knobs and ridges, and big globular eyes.
Ursine: Leaning more into the predatory nature of fire lizards and dragons, here is a design with bite power. Based on a Giant Panda skull with the snout elongated. This design has a bulky skull with massive jaws. A well-developed cranium, zygomatic arch and sagittal crest.
Varan: As much as Anne McCaffery insists her dragons are not reptilian, a monitor lizard skull makes a great design base. They have wedge-shaped heads with incredible bite force, perfect for crushing firestone. The fire lizard progenitor to the Pernese dragon is a coast scavenger and piscivore; a monitor head shape is perfect for both tasks. Perhaps fire lizards would look more delicate, like a tree monitor, while dragons would look more like a rock monitor.
Whelan-like: Michael Whelan's amazing cover art was what drew me to pick up Pern books in the first place. But his designs do not have head knobs and the anatomy is very 'shrink-wrapped' so I've tried to address those issues while keeping it recognizably "Whelan."
Alien: Not based on any earth skull. Bulbous eyes oriented high on the head to see Threadfall. Large surface area for nasal turbinates to warm/humidify the vast quantities of air required by a flying creature, and to filter out Thread char. Head knobs less bony, more fleshy and flexible. Still vaguely "horse-like" shape to the head.

RAPS + CRAFTS #19: AJ Suede
Tumblr media
1. Introduce yourself. Past projects? Current projects?
Suede God. Do your homework on my double digits of projects.
2. Where do you write? Do you have a routine time you write? Do you discipline yourself, or just let the words come when they will? Do you typically write on a daily basis?
I write any and everywhere when inspiration strikes. I get some of my best work done on public transportation. In the past, I've written my best hooks on the drives to and from jobs. Nowadays, it’s more about atmosphere than location.
3. What’s your medium—pen and paper, laptop, on your phone? Or do you compose a verse in your head and keep it there until it’s time to record?
Notes pad but not limited to that. If I could, I’d do the Jay-Z thing and memorize bar-for-bar, but at this point I just write everything down so I don’t forget.
4. Do you write in bars, or is it more disorganized than that?
I write in ways that are more like mathematical equations. Time signatures, iambic pentameter, and rhyme schemes I vaguely remember from smoking before my 10th grade English class in the Shakespeare unit. That mixed with the fundamentals. It’s all math.
5. How long into writing a verse or a song do you know it’s not working out the way you had in mind? Do you trash the material forever, or do you keep the discarded material to be reworked later?
Complicated question because even the “bad” stuff can be repurposed when it’s in season. Some of the bars might not flow because of time and place, but that’s always subject to change and vice versa.
6. Have you engaged with any other type of writing, whether presently or in the past? Fiction? Poetry? Playwriting? If so, how has that mode influenced your songwriting?
There are things that I want to do, but I don’t wanna say preemptively. I’d rather show if I end up being serious about it.
7. How much editing do you do after initially writing a verse/song? Do you labor over verses, working on them over a long period of time, or do you start and finish a piece in a quick burst?
I don’t often edit verses, but the longest part of all the album processes are the mix and master. Especially for the self-produced projects.
8. Do you write to a beat, or do you adjust and tweak lyrics to fit a beat?
There’s no right answer. Every song and beat combination requires different things. I do prefer to write to a beat 90% of the time, but sometimes you unlock new pockets when you write in silence and puzzle piece it together.
9. What dictates the direction of your lyrics? Are you led by an idea or topic you have in mind beforehand? Is it stream-of-consciousness? Is what you come up with determined by the constraint of the rhymes?
No comment. Can’t demystify the whole process.
10. Do you like to experiment with different forms and rhyme schemes, or do you keep your bars free and flexible?
Anything goes based on what the beat demands. I like to be like water; my style is similar to Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do. It’s a mixture of all the fundamentals, but I assume formlessness based on the musical situation. The stronger the foundation, the more flows and schemes you have access to. It’s just a matter of where and when each style is going to present itself.
11. What’s a verse you’re particularly proud of, one where you met the vision for what you desire to do with your lyrics?
I love all my kids, but always proud of the verse that I haven’t written yet. That will be the best one every time.
12. Can you pick a favorite bar of yours and describe the genesis of it?
I wholeheartedly wish I could. I’ll leave that to the people.
13. Do you feel strongly one way or another about punch-ins? Will you whittle a bar down in order to account for breath control, or are you comfortable punching-in so you don’t have to sacrifice any words?
Yes, I do feel strongly about punch-ins. I will restart a whole verse before I allow myself to punch-in. I can always hear the punch-in, even on other artists' songs. If you have to punch-in a million times, your live show is going to be a disaster. Punch-in artists often perform with their vocals playing over the instrumental. A real lack of breath control. If you’re doing it from an artistic standpoint, call-and-response etc., I understand.
14. What non-hiphop material do you turn to for inspiration? What non-music has influenced your work recently?
I would be here all day. I love a lot of music.
15. Writers are often saddled with self-doubt. Do you struggle to like your own shit, or does it all sound dope to you?
I’ve spent less time with self-doubt than most others, but it is a very natural feeling. I believe in what I can do and I’m validated by most of our favorite rappers, so I know I’m dope.
16. Who’s a rapper you listen to with such a distinguishable style that you need to resist the urge to imitate them?
ABSOLUTELY NOBODY. We all start off similar in one way or another from childhood influences, but I been in the game a long enough time that my rap DNA is 100% my own.
17. Do you have an agenda as an artist? Are there overarching concerns you want to communicate to the listener?
I just want to make the best music and let that speak for itself. I don’t have any concerns in the rap world. I just want to make a living off the music and take care of my own.

Preserving Style and Protection: The Ultimate Guide to Leather Glasses Cases
Tumblr media
In the realm of eyewear accessories, the choice of a glasses case is often overlooked, yet it plays a crucial role in maintaining the longevity and style of your eyeglasses. Among the myriad options available, the timeless and durable leather glasses case stands out as a reliable companion for eyewear enthusiasts. In this informative blog, we'll delve into the world of leather glasses cases, exploring their benefits, varieties, and tips on choosing the perfect one for your eyeglasses.
Why Leather? Leather has been a symbol of luxury and durability for centuries, and its use in crafting glasses cases is no exception. One of the primary advantages of leather is its ability to withstand wear and tear while providing a soft, protective cocoon for your eyeglasses. The natural flexibility of leather also ensures a snug fit, preventing unnecessary movement that could lead to scratches or damage.
Benefits of Leather Glasses Cases:
Durability: Leather is known for its resilience, ensuring your glasses remain shielded from the bumps and jostles of daily life.
Timeless Style: Leather exudes a classic and sophisticated aesthetic, adding a touch of elegance to your eyewear accessories.
Soft Interior: The interior of leather cases is often lined with a soft material, such as suede or fabric, preventing scratches on your lenses.
Varieties of Leather Glasses Cases:
Full-Grain Leather Cases: Crafted from the top layer of the hide, these cases boast a natural and unaltered surface, showcasing the leather's unique characteristics.
Genuine Leather Cases: Utilizing layers beneath the top grain, genuine leather cases are still durable and more affordable than full-grain options.
Leatherette Cases: An alternative for those seeking the leather look on a budget, leatherette is a synthetic material that mimics the appearance of genuine leather.
Choosing the Perfect Leather Glasses Case:
Size Matters: Ensure the case is appropriately sized for your glasses, providing a secure fit without excessive movement.
Closure Type: Opt for a case with a secure closure, such as a snap, magnetic, or zipper, to prevent accidental openings.
Interior Lining: Check for a soft interior lining to protect your glasses from scratches and ensure they stay in pristine condition.
Maintaining Your Leather Glasses Case:
Regular Cleaning: Wipe the case with a damp cloth to remove dirt and prevent the accumulation of grime.
Conditioning: Apply a leather conditioner to maintain the suppleness and prevent the leather from drying out.
In conclusion, investing in a quality leather glasses case is a small yet significant step toward preserving the lifespan and style of your eyewear. With the right choice, you not only protect your glasses but also make a fashion statement. Choose wisely, and let your leather glasses case be a reflection of your style and commitment to eyewear care.

the platypus really is the ultimate animal
funny name based on their flat webbed feet
cute as hell
furry with flat tails but have bills like a beaverduck
two layers of fur that they can trap a layer of air between for warmth and buoyancy and apparently their bills are flexible and feel like suede
they're carnivores and can hunt using electroreception like sharks
classed as mammals even though they eggs. but they also lactate
males have venomous spurs on their hind legs and their venom can cause extreme pain that lasts for months in humans
fur glows blue/green under uv light. for some reason
who is doing it like them

Dude I'm really shocked how flexible our gender is and how confusing it is when we don't actively decide what we want to present as. Overall we are very nonbinary, arguably transmasculine heavy leaning, but nonbinary nonetheless. Gender is eh for most of us, but a slight joy in life was how confusing we are to kids (in a positive curious way and not in a distressed way). Today though I was wearing a loose turtleneck and a suede vest so boobas were unintentionally more hidden than not and I had two adults assume I was a man / male / amab and I'm just like
*every time* someone gets confused or assumes I'm not a woman I just POG. Especially if someone just a moment ago assumed I was a woman. Yes please be confused that is the best thing.
That said, I think our genetics are MEGA masculine wired. Cause we got a hella deep voice (natural bass) and our face REALLY wants to beard cause I'm only 11 months on T and I literally shaved this morning and I gotta shave again.
Like we paused on the beard meme thing until I settle down enough that being gender confusing poses less career risks that I can't easily sue if they come @ me so I'm putting like 10% effort into masking as a "tomboy" but XD My natural literal five oclock shadow disagrees XD
Im pretty sure whenever we get back to it we might just beard like a beast pretty fast.

Econ anon here again just wanted to reply to some of the comments https://at.tumblr.com/the-bjd-community-confess/not-quite/x59g10p6gbrq
Thank you for your input and healthy discussion, warms my nerdy lil heart!! 🥹
Regarding e-commerce sites, I’m speaking purely in terms of maximizing efficiency for buying and selling on the second hand market. Far easier to sort through items on eBay than the #bjdsales IG hashtag for example. Also that’s why so many (Western people at least) end up buying recasts entering the hobby as there aren’t very many luxury goods today that you can’t buy legit off of e-commerce sites. You aren’t wrong as to the “why” knowledgable legit BJD buyers don’t list/search those sites but the result is still an overall hindrance to legitimate secondhand market transactions.
Regarding unknown buyers/sellers, this originally started back in the early 2000s when there were little to no recasts. The concern was overwhelmingly getting scammed and having someone run off with your money. Even now it’s rarely an issue an informed buyer is being sold a recast or being tricked into buying one. Most transaction issues with unknowns revolve around sale scams for legit dolls and items. I’d say recasts are part of the concern now, but that can usually be assuaged with a CoA verification . But overall even without recasts not selling/buying to/from unknowns would still be standard.
Great comments regarding IP issues and price. Although I will say what you mean by “inflexible” actually means more flexible or more elastic in economic terms.  Lol it is a bit confusing but basically what’s considered “flexible” isn’t based on whether the price of an item ever increases or decreases or the frequency it does, its based on people’s willingness to buy when it does change. We are essentially saying the same thing though!  Companies that raise their prices will be generally unsuccessful.
Taking this a step further this actually made me really consider if the BJD market is a competitive market as a whole. I would say the smaller companies and independent artists are price takers, meaning the above theory would apply to them as they cannot set a price in the market on their own. The market determines the price. Ex, heads are usually anywhere from $85-160 (depending on skin tone, size, etc). An artist charging $300+ for their head without any other extras, faceup, etc. would be looked at like they were insane lol.
HOWEVER, companies like V0lks and Soom are more likely Monopolies. They can set that higher price themselves regardless of the market and consumers are willing to pay it because of their brand and products (superior goods).
Soom especially quality is rather mid in comparison to the prices they charge for a basic nude doll. Many people complain about QA issues of head cap magnets being weak, obvious seam lines, the resin skin tones are not consistent between batches, need to be wired/sueded to pose, jointed hands are DYI kits, etc. Yet they are still widely popular despite all these quality issues.  But it’s also a big trait of Monopolies in economics that they do not have to prioritize quality above all else as people will want them regardless. V0lks on the other hand has higher quality standards but they have their own unique way of selling and offering dolls (lotteries, one-offs, not being able to buy blank dolls, full sets coming with glued in eyes, etc) that people do complain about often yet there are still thriving in business.
Not to mention both V0lks and Soom come out with limiteds and full sets that can be 3x-5x times the price of an average BJD doll already costing hundreds. They don’t even have to offer heads because they know people will want the sculpt enough to buy the full doll.
Going back to IP I don’t know much about IP law but I am not surprised at the costs to go through legal proceeds being ridiculously high, which you are right is likely the reason they don’t enforce. However, I don’t think it’s because the dolls are underpriced though. It’s likely even if they were able to charge say $300 a head, they still wouldn’t be able to generate enough to cover legal costs. Lawyers can be $300 & up an hour in addition to retainer fees. Only V0lks I would guess would have the resources to sue and even with them its likely the opportunity costs aren’t worth it to them.
At that level it’s never really about the principle of fighting for your IP and all about the money. Now if a multi-billion dollar company like Matt3l started stealing V0lks IP, you bet it would be worth then to sue. Not to mention they could likely get attorneys who would work for a percentage of the amount won, rather than charge hourly saving on the up front costs of legal expenses. But that usually just happens in extremely high profile situations when lots of money are involved. That’s why you rarely hear of anyone suing anyone else over IP if they themselves or the person they are suing aren’t a big corporation with lots of money, the costs wouldn’t be worth the reward otherwise.
Regarding Lou, I don’t think the argument about Lou its a bizarre at all. What you are suggesting would be a duopoly or a cartel (no not the drug kind lol!). Cartels in Econ are companies who each agree to make a certain amount of an item so they can split market profits on that item rather than compete (usually illegal to form in most industries due to anti-trust laws etc). Although I do think someone mentioned it in the comments too, the downside of cartels is one side (Lou in this case) is incentivized to cheat. Companies would be wary giving Lou molds as he could essentially then do what he wants, sell for lower prices, produce more than agreed upon, not give them their share of profits, etc, etc.  There is no promise he wouldn’t sell more than he is supposed to or even if they did give him an exclusive sculpt he could use it to copy and make his own (like he has before).
Regarding overhead costs of legit vs recast. This isn’t true at all that it would be more expensive for Lou to go legit or that he is saving lots of money by stealing at this stage. Although there are heavy fixed costs in the short run of starting a business, Lou is now a successful recaster. He has the materials and resources to sculpt his own if he wanted to. The start up costs of getting a warehouse, resin, casting materials, etc, for his recast business far out way the costs of spending a bit more time refining a doll with sculpting, sanding, etc. Time is the main cost in sculpting original creations rather than money.
For proof of this look no further than some of the western artists presales on IG. They will get people excited with their sculpting process and get lots of preorders. But when it actually comes to paying a caster and getting other supplies to produce the doll that’s when they flop. They either take way longer to deliver or out right become a scammer and don’t deliver dolls because the overhead costs of producing the doll were way higher than sculpting one, even when they weren’t the ones doing the casting themselves (short run vs long run marginal costs).
However, this is a pipe dream Lou going legit honestly. It’s far more lucrative and brings more economic profit for him to remain a recaster having a monopoly on it being the main recaster. If he were to go legit, another recaster seeing opportunity would take his spot. Thats why even if Lou’s recast factory blew up tomorrow and he left the businesses, it would only be a matter of time before another recaster took his spot.

Character Intro: Thespios (Kingdom of Ichor)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nicknames- Casanova jr. by the others
Showstopper by his father
The Moronic Wonder by Aggie
Age- 13 (immortal)
Location- Mania district, New Olympus
Personality- With a great respect for the performing arts, he loves garnering attention. He can be quite conceited & manipulative while having a complete disregard for conformative rules and authority. He's smart, observant, & quite cultured for someone his age.
He has the standard abilities of a god. As the god of acting his other powers and abilities include limited invsibility, limited shapeshifting (can transform himself into other people & characters for only 10 minutes), vocal projection, stage light manipulation, having an eidetic memory (can remember scenes from movies and TV shows, lines, & scripts), and limited illusion creation.
Thespios is the only child to his father Matikós (god of performance). They live on the top floor of The Tauros Building, a luxury high-rise apartment building in the Mania neighborhood of New Olympus. His bedroom is every theater kid's dream! It has a theather aesthetic with a semi-circle for the "mini amphitheater" that has a few rich red velvet seats for company along with a HUGE king sized bed covered in velvet & satin sheets and pillows with a bedframe resembling a stage. Instead of a TV there's a projector screen and instead of traditional lighting there's stage lights & neon light fixtures. On the walls there's posters of his favorite movies, TV shows, bands, and deities. He owns the latest Talos Core gaming system as well as an antique typewriter (which Thespios bought on oBay). He has one pet- a she-dragon named Ravenshade who has frost blue eyes & blue-black and deep fuchsia scales. She's his usual mode for transportation to school.
Thespios has a great relationship with his father. He appreciates the fact that his dad never stifled his creativity or interests. They both constantly frequent the museums, cinema, & opera with a favorite pasttime of theirs being riding dragonback! Thespios knows that he's not the only kid in the pantheon to be raised by a single parent, but he doesn't feel like he's "missing" out by not having another parent.
He's well aware of the events surrounding his conception- his birth mother (a maenad) being a surrogate for his father. Thespios recently met her with the two of them keeping in contact through e-mail every once in a while. There are even talks for Thespios to spend his next school vacation in Thebes where she lives.
His wardrobe consists of suede and leather shoes, leather jeans, regular jeans, polos, mink scarves, berets, sweaters, & leather jackets with black being a major color!
His father gifted him a gold & silver theater masks necklace which Thespios always wears.
A go-to drink for him is coffee. He LOVES coffee! Thespios is a pro when it comes to his father's espresso machine in their kitchen. He also likes pomegranate cola, lime flavored sparkling water, club soda, and chocolate espresso milkshakes from The Frozen Spoon. Usuals for him from The Roasted Bean includes cafe au laits, a medium pomegranate dragonfruit splash, & a large iced mocha.
Thespios has many talents. In addition to inheriting remarkable flexibility from his father he can also play the lyre, trumpet, and saxophone & he's also a pretty good drawer- mainly focusing on self portraits.
He has a few stamps on his passport, traveling to the other realms a few times! His favorite trip so far has been to the Underworld where he was at the film premier of Blooddancer! He even saved the ticket stubs in a scrapbook.
His favorite snacks include pomegranate flavored licorice twists, salt & vinegar potato chips, caramel olive oil popcorn, and red hot cinnamon jawbreakers.
Thespios is currently on break from school. As far as the godly kids, he sometimes hangs out with Deucalion (Deuce) and Thrasos (god of boldness, insolence, recklessness, & courage). Thespios admires the "bad-assery" of Anaideia (goddess of ruthlessness, shamelessness, & unforgiveness). He doesn't know too much about the "Drool Crew" (the kids of The Litae) except a time where Epidotes (god of purity) was partnered up with him for a project in their home economics class. Thespios' main friend group are some classmates in his drama class- a lampade named Blakelyn, twin Harpy brothers named Arnim & Aerion, a mermaid named Andrina, and a satyr named Kristanos. They are also part of the school's drama club. Thespios thinks that his drama teacher (a Centaur) Mr. Paspatis is a "mad genius." One student he doesn't seem to care about is Calocagathia (Aggie) (goddess of nobility & goodness). Thespios finds her "know-it-all perfect goody two-shoes" veneer to be offputting. He has only told Blakelyn what happened between the two of them afterschool months ago.
His go-to thing from The Bread Box is the blackberry goat cheese salad.
He's fluent in Old Greek, Latin, & French.
Thespios had his first kiss with Andrina at Kristanos' spin the bottle party a couple weeks ago. They still sometimes make out when they do homework together.
In the pantheon he really looks up to and admires The Muses (calls Melpomene "literal perfection"), Apollo (a favorite album of his being 1,000 Days of Sunlight), and the "mad" god Dionysus (secretly hopes that he'll be his mentor)! Thespios also likes hanging out with his noná, Felis (Titaness of cats). He has quite the number of crushes! Aside from Melpomene (muse of tragedy), he thinks that Aphrodite (goddess of love & beauty), Polyhymnia (muse of hymns), Ailuros (goddess of cats & warfare), and Adephagia (goddess of gluttony) are "total babes." There has uncomfortably been more than one "wet dream."
Two of his favorite desserts are the pain au chocolat and almond souffle. He gets them at Salon du Sucre. Thespios also likes the tiramisu cake from Hollyhock's Bakery.
He has a varied musical palate. Thespios listens to everything from M9, Apollo, Eclipse, Discordic Harmony to Death Theater, Eurydice, O, & the punk rock band Dissonance Machine. Lately he's been a fan of Orpheus, even getting a vinyl copy of his live album Immortalis Amor: Cello Concerto.
He's fond of collecting movie soundtracks, the latest addition being Blooddancer.
A guilty pleasure of his are samurai sushi rolls.
In his free time Thespios loves going to the cinema to catch the latest release! He also enjoys basketball, football (soccer), playing video games, laser tag, reading (is a fan of the god Favian's books), writing (journaling & his own poetry and screenplays), listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
His favorite meals are his dad's feijoada with yellow rice and keftedes.
"Theater is the art of looking at ourselves."

it all started with a mouse ... and yes it’s this mouse. ozzy’s existence is the reason why elias is here and why walt academy exists. for a good chunk of his life his dad lied to ozzy and his sister about their powers because of that when they did manifest, ozzy didn’t know how to control them. he was a danger to himself and to everyone else. instead of helping he built a school for his kids to help them. obviously, that created some tension between ozzy and mickey that caused ozzy to dip after graduation but what really sealed the deal was when mickey took ozzy’s mortality away without his permission. that earned his dad a good punch in the face and ozzy leaving for a second time. he’s back and please don’t associate him with his dad. his mom and sister though ? he’d do anything for them.

Finished bone for Link's bone armor! The base is made of half a tissue box, half a TP roll, lots of foil, and wire. A lot of paper mache and sanding and get boned! Well, bone get!
It's permanently glued to the bracer with suede cord for stability.
It feels so weird to have this giant bone on my forearm! I'm used to flexible bracers. There is 0 flex in this. I made the bone a bit shorter so it wouldn't hinder my elbow or wrist but it still feels weird haha.

Caillens armour is made of a combination of soft suede leather and tough, 3-4mm thick faux dragon skin leather rather than the same metal her fathers warriors wear in battle. Although her protection is very limited, she is able to be much more flexible when on the battlefield. The fact that it allows more arm freedom helps her much more when it comes to fighting. It combines both wereability and protection. Her armour is forest green in colouring with side lacing and metal buckles on the front that can be easily adapted for her physique.  Her leg protection is split at the front and the back of the hips, making it particularly suitable for when she’s riding her horse.  Her legs are covered with a similar material that’s lighter while on her feet she wears a special pair of boots that’s completely heelless and comes up to her thigh.
