I know Ozzie was mostly happy that Fizz was quitting his job with Mammon, but with him being a fire twirler as part of the original Deadly Sins circus, I'm betting he was also immensely proud at Fizz performing his act instead of just being a clown, which was Mammon's. ^_^ Knowing that now, it's also likely the reason why the insignia change happened in this scene (not just being a statement that Fizz is with Ozzie ;) ) and I wouldn't be surprised if some of Fizz's moves were ones Ozzie performed/Fizz made into an homage to Ozzie. ^_^<3<3<3

may i humbly request some poco headcanons for this au..

Oh gosh Poco my boy- ask and you shall receive! (This one is VERY long thank you for your time 🛐🛐)

Poco's death, as of now, is unknown, even to him. One day, he woke up as a skeleton, clutching his trusty guitar. He always had a soul full of music and went off to explore this seemingly new world.

His attacks in this AU are quite similar, with his musical strums carrying quite a punch! Mostly, he plays a more upbeat tune to heal hid allies.

Currently I am working to redesign him slightly, but I have some notes to add on his design! His entire body is just the skeleton, no fur or feathered parts at all. In the redesign, I want him to wear some fake fur and feathers to replicate a fluffy, more friendly looking dragon.

The reason he wears fake fur and feathers is because as he played just as a skeleton with a hat and a tailored suit, he scared off some younger kids with his bones. Now, he's much more fluffy looking and approachable, especially for the younglings. He also uses small claw protectors on his hands so that he doesn't accidentally break his guitar strings (they are reinforced as well in case).

He slowly started to gain fame with his music as he explored the world, bringing songs that had a distinct ring to it. They were always a joy to listen to. Minus a few sour notes here and there, it's agreed that Poco is just very fun to watch perform.

It was in his expeditions with music that he met El Primo and Amber, fellow performers with their own craft. El Primo was an up and coming luchadar, while Amber was still finding what niche she could do in this growing world of entertainment.

Extra notes on Amber: She might've been a ribbon dancer or a baton twirler at this point! Her performances in the sky were really quite nice. She was happy, though other performers caught wind and were inevitably better than her, even with all the efforts she put in. This later led to her practicing with fire dances, as she learned her feathers were fireproof.

Back to Poco, while he played songs and did have a nice fanbase, they sadly left him for a bigger and much more popular band. This is based on old descriptions in-game. At this time, he nearly fell into a lot of sadness, feeling alone again as when he woke up after becoming a skeleton. He fell into a creative slump during this time.

When all hope was lost, El Primo and Amber helped him back on his feet to find his rhythm again. They stuck with their friend no matter what anyone thought. Now he's slowly building up his fanbase again at the park, becoming much more successful!

He's still part of the Bad Randoms band. He got invited on a few years back from Stu, who had seen a small show of his one day at a tavern. He and Stu became good pals a while back (I mean, who could be friends with Poco), and when Stu met him again he invited him on with a band that he and Buzz were forming. Buzz liked his vibes and they've been rocking ever since 🤘

Sometimes, he gets dreams of his time when he was alive. They're faint and far in between, but it slowly becomes clear it wasn't...recent. He'd been down under for a good few years, at least. Once he woke up crying, apparently seeing some loved ones in the dream. His heart, though now bound by magic, still missed them. If only he could remember their names.

Poco can play quite a few instruments! The guitar, ukulele, bass, banjo, harp, and keyboard. Oh, and maracas! He's got a whole collection at home 😎

He has a prehensile tail, which helps him carry his guitar.

He's very light, kind of like holding a couple of grapes /ref (seriously though, on average he's very lightweight. His bones were hollow as he was able to fly before, but now he cannot. Sometimes he gets dreams of flying, but it sort of spooks him out, even if it is fun.)

He has a lovely singing voice! Poco can do a few solid imitations of other brawlers' voices, and sometimes, they even help in brawls to disorient enemies in the bushes.

Shika Morikawa / Cure Petal

Her birthday is September 5th, making her a Virgo!

Unlike Hiroko, she has a girlfriend from the jump - Hotaru Honoo, the vice president of the student council, who's basically the devoted wife to Shika's workaholic husband.

She just has intense girlhusband energy, I don't know how else to explain it. World's most married student council president.

Her given name means "deer", and her mascot partner is a deer fairy. I love on the nose naming so much.

Her mother works at the local natural history museum, and Shika has something of an interest in it herself.

Shika is a member of the tennis team and is quite skilled at the sport, on top of being athletic in general. She also has a lot of stamina when running.

She's the defensive warrior of the team as Cure Petal - she starts out knowing how to create shields in Cure form and then later gains healing and energy reflection as powers.

Ai Yukimura / Cure Glacier

Her birthday is June 28th, making her a Cancer!

She's the oldest of five kids - her younger siblings are named Tatsuya, Ayame, Yuto, and Yoko.

She also has a dog - a long-haired chihuahua named Maron!

Every Cait story has that one handsome lesbian with a bunch of fangirls. That's Ai. Half the female student body seems to have a crush on her, and she will flirt right back with them.

Ai is usually a very chill person (heh) but she can get overly worked up when someone brings out her competitive side, to the point of developing severe tunnel vision.

She's basically the mom of the team, with the best domestic skills and a great way with kids. She also gives excellent hugs.

As Cure Glacier, she's the team's powerhouse, being the tallest and physically strongest of the group. Naturally, she brings some of her experience as an ice hockey player to battle.

Teruko Hidaka / Cure Helios

Her birthday is December 22nd, making her a Sagittarius!

She's the youngest of three children and only recently started working regularly at her family's ryokan

Teruko is actually girlier than people assume and mainly holds back on presenting more femininely due to self-confidence issues. She actually gets along really well with her fashionista fairy partner.

She is bi and secretly carrying a torch for her childhood friend, Genta. She's also very close with his little sister, Eiko.

She is known as "Teruru" to her closest friends, and her teammates go on to pick the nickname up as well.

She is a member of the softball team! Every Cure in this squad is an athlete, basically.

As Cure Helios, she serves as a secondary powerhouse within the team, being light on her feet and hitting hard with her fire-based powers.

Ayaka Oozora / Cure Zephyr

Her birthday is September 27th, making her a Libra!

She wants to be an environmental lawyer like her father when she grows up and is already doing her best to be both knowledgeable about and involved on that front, as much as a high school girl can. This girl absolutely knows about Tree Law.

Ayaka has almost as many fangirls within the student body as Ai does and is considered the princess to her prince. She doesn't seem particularly interested in romance herself, however.

Definitely the most fashionable of the group and will leap at the chance to help someone find a look that works for them.

While Ayaka does not consider herself a theater kid, she is genuinely good at acting and has taken advantage of this.

She is a member of the cheerleading team and is a highly skilled baton twirler. Since everyone has magic batons as a sidearm in this series, you'd better believe she brings that skill there.

She is the speedy, long-ranged fighter of the team as Cure Zephyr. While everyone on the team can fly thanks to fairy magic, she is also the most adept in the air.

Worldbuilding: It’s a Breeze

I’d like to see a classic urban fantasy battle not in a cramped and litter-strewn alley, but in an open, chilly, wind-tunnel of a suburban parking lot.

Think about it. For one thing, if your magic system works at all off the elements you should have an incredible bonus to both wind and earth spells (all that asphalt). Cold, too. Definitely cold, enough to slow down thought; with wind plucking spell components, critical evidence, or just aggravating IRS paperwork you don’t want to have to do again from your hapless grip. While any characters lighter than your average beagle - say, some annoying winged fairies - risk getting swept away over the rooftops. Or at least swept off their feet, and not in a romantic way.

The visuals, man. The visuals could be awesome.

Dragons getting tangled in the lightpoles. Parking spaces on fire, red and orange and viscous green, as fire spells sear the asphalt. Cars to smash, grocery carts to careen and spin, possible hordes of lizards summoned from the hedge-bits on lot islands. And of course characters tumbling across the way and suffering road rash before slamming into the side of a monster pickup or dinged RV hard enough to set off the car alarm. Magical rune-light duking it out with blinding sunlight, gloomy clouds, or the eerie yellow of sodium lamps at night. Sudden blinding gleams of light from glass, plastic, or newly waxed cars.

And don’t forget all the possible obstacles and things to fight on, over, around, and through. Stacks of mulch, piles of bricks, rattling falls of planters, tangles of outdoor furniture. Not to mention witnesses!

...Though less of those than you’d think, given how many people walk through parking lots with their heads bent over their phones and their ears filled with earbuds. Parking lots are between here and there; a space liminal enough magic should work even better, while annoying enough to people who want to be there that they’re paying almost no attention to even the weirdest sights. Flaring fires, roaring monsters, guys brandishing swords and staves? Yawn, more sign-twirler-type ad guys, keep ‘em away from me.

And your fight would have so many sound effects. Passing traffic; the wails of sirens, fire and ambulance, that have nothing at all to do with the havoc your characters are currently wreaking. The odd stray helicopter overhead; air ambulance, search and rescue, sometimes the news.

Scents are less of a thing because of the volume of air moving by, but that should sharpen the ones up close and personal during the fight. And if you smell grit and a bit of oil... protect your head, you’re about to hit the ground hard.

I think it’d be a neat scene. Anyone want to give it a try?

Their evenings typically began with making dinner and rehashing the work week, but eventually it devolved into mixing drinks and painting each other’s nails with Cutex while one of them read from that week’s edition of Life and showed them the photographs. Sometimes it felt like they were just playing house as grown women, but Sophie savored the time she spent at Ethel’s place. It was impossible to forget about the war, but at least Sophie could forget about her mother for more than a few hours while she was there.

Despite its small size, Market Street was a well-kept stretch of town, the type Fareisians would describe as "charming." The storefronts were swept and tidy, some of them boasting small flower boxes or other decorations like a chalk board with a short message of welcome scrawled on it. Every door, and many windows, stood open to invite potential customers into its depths. Sephris pointed out some of them: the cobbler, the inn, the school. There were no alternatives here. The only exception seemed to be the grocers. They passed one market at the beginning of the street, there was another at the end of town, and otherwise specialty sellers set up shop with carts and stalls on any part of the road that wasn't already occupied. A handful of shoppers frequented the road with unbothered leisure. It was a far cry from the heart of Fareis, where people always bustled about and there was never a still moment.

She left luaus before the fire twirlers began so she would not be in the audience if one of them lost their grip, didn’t drink from the raw coconuts that fell on the beach in case they were contaminated with a strange germ, and did not explore the tide pools among the slippery rocks, convinced that either a rogue wave or the uneven footing would trip her and leave her a concussed vegetable.

53 years ago today on August 9, 1969, pregnant Sharon Tate, 18 year old Steve Parent, celebrity hairstylist Jay Sebring, Wojciech Fryowski and his girlfriend Abigail Folger had their lives taken.

I am an informational blog but you can find all there is to know about this case anywhere online. I want these people to rest in peace and not reduce them to only murder victims.

I present you with some facts about Sharon Tate, whether or not you know them. I am all for her being remembered as the person she was and not what happened to her.

Sharon Tate was an amazing actress who was most famous for her role in Valley of the Dolls (1967) and marrying director Roman Polanski who she was going to share a son with. May we remember her amazing work and how much of a warm, gentle and gorgeous person she was.

1. She was a pageant QUEEN and started when she was only 6 months old. She won the ‘Miss Tiny Tot of Dallas’ pageant and in 1959 alone, she won 5 different beauty pageants.

2. She attended an American high school in Italy and graduated after a year of attending.

3. During her time in Italy, she discovered a movie Hemingway’s Adventures of a Young Man was being filmed and landed herself as an extra. This is what helped her break into acting.

4. Sharon was on her high school’s basketball team, was a cheerleader, a baton twirler, served on the student council and starred as Juliet in the school’s play of Romeo and Juliet. She was also elected homecoming queen and senior prom queen, obviously.

5. Sharon had a lack of self confidence and a lot of people doubted her, including filmmaker and director of Eye of the Devil, J. Lee Thompson who considered firing her from the project. She proved him wrong and as soon as he saw her act, he found her ‘tremendously exciting’.

6. She often went without makeup but when it came to lipstick, she used Vaseline instead to keep her lips shiny.

7. Sharon was pro-nudity and thought of it as part of the job. She posed nude for a 1967 issue of Playboy to promote Roman Polanski’s film that she starred in.

8. Sharon’s work has inspired iconic characters including Felicity Shagwell from Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Malibu Barbie!

9. Sharon was close to landing the lead role of Rosemary’s Baby but director Roman Polanski felt that their relationship made it impossible to suggest her for the role. Instead, she is an uncredited extra in the film.

10. While filming Don’t Make Waves, she was wearing a parachute that deployed at the wrong time. This was a near death experience that she luckily escaped.

11. There is a rumour that Elizabeth Taylor wouldn’t work with Sharon who was set to have a small, walk-on role in The Sandpiper because Taylor wasn’t a fan of having a young, pretty actress like Sharon on set.

12. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Valley of the Dolls.

In her Grown-up AU she is a Octavinelle 1st yr student and befriends Prince Cheka who is a RSA 2nd yr student. The two met when they were younger at NRC Halloween event over at the Savanaclaw runned area where they played the games together. Rosé is known for bubbles appearing around her which Cheka finds so fun. 12yrs later they met again during a nrc event that invited the rsa over. Cheka recognized the bubbly aura around her immediately. They forgot about the event and just chilled with each other.

okay, some random questions, just to try and offer some for your ocs Logistically, who runs/joins the bug circus. (there was a trope of children running away to join a circus, so i'm wondering if that trope applies to some of your bug circus members. ) -how is food/resources sourced if its a traveling circus, or does the circus exist only in one place, and bugs have to travel to them? -Does the circus preform unsafe or dangerous tasks, to try and convince people to join? (they might not actually be dangerous, but looking dangerous could be part of the charm. Jumping though a ring of fire, for example. ) -Are there bug stereotypes with the performers (Such as a flea circus, or having flea acrobats)

-Does the circus have a coherent color pattern/color theming, or does each performer wear their own favorite colors/outfits, as long as they're vivid and bright?

-How does the circus protect itself against dangerous insects. (Things like 'The beast' centipede might exist in other areas of the world if they're a traveling circus, os are some of the members fighters? do they employ guards?)

OKAY SO: putting this under a read more LMAO this is very in dep

There are two ringmasters! Ghost (ghost mantis) and Flower (Spiny Flower Mantis). Ghost was the original, and found the circus with Honey(bumblebee strongbug). Flower joined later, and eventually became a ringmaster with Ghost. As of right now, I've opened up the circus to some friends of mine, and theres a singular instance of kids joining the circus, but excluding other peoples ocs, the youngest members joined at 19 and 22, and they are now 21 and 24.

Food/Resources are pooled by money collected via performances/the carnival that takes place post performance! Normally two bugs (Honey and Diana, bumblebee stronbug and glasswing butterfly acrobat), take care of dinner, and they are normally also helped by misc circus members. If the circus is in a town/city/place, they will normally get food/resources there, and cook a dish depending on what area they are in.

Yes, the circus does do dangerous acts! Some examples are knife throwing, fire twirling, and just in general some of the acrobat routines. For some of the members, danger is their specialty! Diana, like I mentioned before, is an acrobat. She specializes in trapeze, and generally does a lot of the other types of acrobatic performances. She loves doing dangerous acts, and even does duo performances with Honey at times. Another example is Saran(milkweed assassin bug, fire twirler/wielder). The circus does dangerous acts, but only if the performers are confident in them. It's not really a recruitment tactic, it's more of a way to wow the audience!

I don't know if this really works for stereotypes, but all of the clowns are moths and or butterflies as of right now! There is an io moth, an atlas moth, and an owl butterfly.

honestly, rn, i'm unsure! It's sorta hard for everybody to have a coherent color scheme due to. bug colors. Every section might get their own color scheme, but that doesn't apply to the clowns obviously

Some of the members have fighting experience! Such as Vex(emerald jewel wasp, sword swallower), and Saran(mentioned in 3). There are two bugs who specialize in the carnival, as they helped make it an addition to the circus. Terra and Rudd, both leafcutter ants. As I make more, there will be some who do specialize in security. The other cool thing is since the circus doesn't originate in bugaria they might have different weapons! I'll elaborate more on this later lol
