Sugar Vlady prompt: Ursula and Nathan find Vlad’s old Star Trek fic. It was ported over to AO3 during a fandom purge, so neither realized until about halfway through the fourth Kinktober fic. They were definitely going to tell Vlad—he’d been heartbroken since he didn’t have the login info to save it himself—but now they also had ✨ideas✨.
*cackling* I don't know if you are remembering that one ask about him being a Trekkie or not, but that's very on brand.
He'd cringe so hard. But he's also absolutely not going to complain if they're into it an willing to humor him.
and what if i'm looking for scenes of imodna holding hands and almost every single one is laudna holding imogen's hand to ground her? what if there's almost no examples of imogen holding laudna's hand to ground her? what then??? WHAT THEN???????
it's not something I write into every day or even every week. If I've got a down hour or so, or if I'm on a plane, or if I'm in a green room with my phone, or whatever. It's exciting to return to and that excitement ends up joyfully fueling/shaping my more public writing. but it's also an exercise in restraint, a reminder that not everyone needs to see everything I write, even/especially if it's something that I am personally extremely excited about or obsessed with. That's also useful for me. Restraint is as good an editing tool as any. sometimes the text grows to what some might consider book-length (this year will almost certainly top out at more than 60k words) which, oddly, makes filing it away all the more satisfying? I can look back, see how my thinking evolved on A Single Thing, & keep it just for me.
A snake which can bite people and make them worse version of themselves, like compulsive liars or people with anger issues or no compassion, or just more likely to do bad things
What do you guys think it says about me that I've brought, played and completed (multiple times) the LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame on 3 out of 4 of the available platforms for it 🧍♂️
