Fi is one of the most subtly powerful entities in TLOZ. Her role in the stories is even more of a Deus ex machina than Zelda/Hylia's/The Goddesses.

In Twilight Princess Link has been cursed by an otherworldly force. I'm taking about magic that doesn't even exist in Hyrule, or abide by it's magic systems. As soon as Link approaches the Master Sword it effortlessly dispels the curse. Yes,Fi is more powerful than even Eldritch sci-fi, extra dimensional forces.

Fi was capable of keeping all of Hyrule in perpetual time stop for what is implied to be several centuries in wind waker, and that was before being fully powered up.

Fi is capable of sealing the Zelda franchise's version of Anti-Jesus permanently, with only a small bit of him escaping to be reborn (the rest was canonically sealed in skyward sword).

Fi is so awesome and I love her. She's the ultimate Big good figure in Zelda, moreso than even Zelda herself at times.

Alright so Fi and Ghirahim in my au -

Some background info:

They're siblings here, born to good friends of Royalty. However, Ghirahim was kidnapped by Ganondorf as a baby so was raised very much differently to Fi. They possess the same levels of loyalty and intellect, but Fi was raised to be of service and protection to the Royal Family wheras Ghirahim was raised to wreak havoc and cause destruction. However, they're both used as human (hylian?) weapons by their respective loyalties, and as a result they both see themselves as just mere tools.

Fi-

AroAce, She/They, 25 years old (acts MUCH older)

- Lives with Sun and her sister as protection, and is very close with Sky.

- Sees themself as nothing more than a tool to be used by others for their convenience (Sky is working to help undo this mindset)

- Undiagnosed autism in the fact that she struggles with finding the right time or words to say in a conversation so ends up staying quiet unless they have relevant information and accidentally interrupts people (please let me know if this isn't actually an autism thing, I'm just projecting here and apparently that's a sign of autism)

- Is the main link (heh) between the Links and the Royal Family

- Fairly reserved but isn't afraid to speak up or kick ass

Ghirahim-

You cannot tell me this man isn't gay as hell. He/They, and 27 years old.

- Is basically Ganondorf's son and raised to continue his legacy and cause havoc

- But also was raised with high expectations and punished harshly for failing to meet them, so is constantly seeking praise by trying hard to fulfil Ganondorf's wishes

- Eeeeeevil but also just sees himself as a tool for Ganondorf

- Likes theatrics and would be an actor in another world

- Inconveniences and tries to kill the Links (and gets away with it)

- Harassess Sky in particular

- Cannot shut up

Drew something a bit different this time ^^

I know I said not to think too deeply about it on my last Mask and Fi drawing [THIS] but... I thought too deeply about it, augh. Their relationship is so complicated but I wanted to show another side of it. Hopefully I managed it here.

Fi may not have understood the animosity Mask showed towards her back in the war, but that's not the case after everything. And even if they have a bond now (kind of) it's... messy. And it's not like Mask has the stones to open the door (nor does he think he should, what with what happened last time he did). So... yeah...

It's a bit bittersweet and there's still resentment there. Just. Complicated.

"Fi is the name I was given"

okay so, I really like the idea of Fi changing her design or "growing up" along with the improvements of the Master Sword. I decided to go with a childish look in her first form because I took elements of Fi's original inspiration, The Fairy Queen form Wind Waker. Also I used the Goddess Sword color palette and details: for example the shape of her "boots" were based on the little thing at the end of the handle.

And yeah, her "arms" will grow later. Don´t worry about that.
