I’ve been reading most every day from a One Year Bible that has daily reading from the Old and New Testament, psalms and proverbs. I want to finish the whole book so when I hear something in a sermon, I kind of know the context. Yesterday I found some bible study videos and took some quality time to watch and learn and take notes. It really helped my mood, which has been down and quite empty for awhile. Engaging versus just reading is key I have found. 20 years ago today I walked into an obscure medieval shop in an alley with my Legend of Zelda loving son so he could look at swords.
