Finally it's cold enough for this beautiful patchwork jacket
I thrifted this beautiful patchwork jacket (for 8€!!) at the beginning of summer. Totally the wrong season for it, as it's also lined with warm fleece fabric. But I knew I just had to wait. Winter is always coming. I'm really happy I get to wear it finally!
There's just one thing I'd like to change: this jacket didn't come with draw strings to make the hood tighter. That is a feature that's very useful for windy days, so I can prevent the hood from being blown of my head. I will have to do a quick-fix and add drawstrings myself.

Picture 1: A close-up picture of Amy (me), looking kinda tired. She's a young, fat, white woman with glasses and long brown hair. It was on the way to work early in the morning, so tired is accurate (though I had a good nights sleep! Yay for that!). You can see the cute pointy end of the patchwork jacket hood. It's autumn now, so there are lots of layers: visible is the chunky knit fabric of my short-sleeved cardigan, it's a cosy knit in dark colours (black and red) mixed with some white specks. Also the black scarf with silver trees printed on it shows up a bit at the neck. Otherwise, the colourful patchwork jacket dominates!
Picture 2: A close-up picture of a public bench, with my light purple backpack sitting on it. A pink tote a bag with a white flower print (total with green stems and leaves!) is laying next to the backpack. You can see the trees are slowly changing colour and the first fallen leaves are down on the grass.
Picture 3: A mirrored image of Amy (me). Amy's a young, white, fat woman with long brown hair and glasses. She's wearing black jeans and shoes, but the top is way more colourful: You can see a bright red cardigan peaking out under her patchwork jacket. And the patchwork jacket itself is a riot of colours!! There's vibrant orange, red, purple, green, blue.... and embroidery of leaves, flowers and spirals on top! [/image description]

Trying to work on these silly sketches for my BG3 prequel but dropping hints of lore scattered everywhere is easier :^)
(Pic on the left, he reveals she's a Cambion to her, she's bubu about it. On the right, she is 100% willing to become a martyr to "atone for her sin")
You know what's the funniest thing? That while Raphael is Mephistopheles' son, Raksha is a tiefling of the Baalzebul bloodline. You know, sworn enemies and all despite their similarities. And yet they ended up loving each other (without even mentioning the other things that worked against their relationship).
Even more ironic, Raph's initial interest in her was because she reminded him of himself when he was younger (from a personality standpoint). She represents the psyche in contrast to Haarlep's eros in his mind I guess???

I have a mindset switch that not every stranger has a crush on me and it sounds plausible but I'm telling you for so long it's all I ever thought about when I was out and about outside. Then I got to thinking, "no one is seeking you out and that's okay" and it felt like a release from feeling like I was performing for strangers. Side note I'm pretty sure if anything did happen that was straight out of a movie, it most likely would annoy me on my commutes.

like to me shri’iia has the potential to be the most awful person ever and she’s delusional enough to think that whatever she does is justified bc she obsessively follows her oath. and she doesn’t really care about the consequences bc what matters to her is her oath. and she is her oath - and she embodies the tenets fully and wholeheartedly. so for her to actively choose to work against it, to go against her muscle memory and move in ways that are foreign to her and against her own brain, is something that is super fucking hard and requires a lot of planning and and discipline. and I think she wouldn’t have been able to keep up with the facade so the fact that she actually broke it is a blessing bc it relieves her from all that stress but also a curse bc that’s literally half her soul ripped away from her
but also a blessing bc she has no identity out of her oath so now she’s forced to actually reclaim herself and her autonomy or else she’ll spiral down into the void and she’ll find something or someone new to devote herself to and get completely obsessed at 🥰🌝

fun, not-necessarily realistic futuristic ideas: micro-climate weather control ( artificial sun, or rain for your living space, would you also like a cloud? ), weird multi-tool combinations ( e.g. can-opener, lock-pick, also a laser and a small pattern replicator to... patch up clothes idk ), an anti-grav table - you'll never hit your soft squishy feet against the table again, but also the thing will run away from you all the time it's an unstable table... err... idk, a candle that lights up if you press a button on the side? running on some fancy gas/mineral from that far away planet!! aka the inventions that almost won the market, but never really lived up to their expectations because why would they? they are too ridiculous))
