my clangen clan OneClan’s family tree as of 1/1/2023!

i literally started with all elders so the clan died off to just like 3 of em pretty quick lol. Bearstar was the first chosen leader and he died within one moon skip, and his deputy Ospreyspeckle too, thus making Larchwater Larchstar, who remained so for a really really long time before i decided to kill him off at 3 lives left and allow young Sprucespeckle to become Sprucestar. Claytail was an app at the start, and was my favorite character by far, and therefore of course deputy, and he was so for a super long time as well until he died :(

then i made his lookalike Chip deputy, and he ended up getting an injury and retiring to the elders den early lol (at 80ish moons old), so i made his adopted daughter Sprucespeckle deputy! the og med cat died immediately so i made loner McChicken the med cat (she’s dead now too but she was awesome). so the current standing is:

Leader: Sprucestar (prev.: Bearstar, Larchstar) Deputy: Snowfur (prev.: Ospreyspeckle, Claytail, Chip) Medicine Cats: Fernheart, Biteleaf, Rotmoon (prev.: Hollysplash, McChicken, Lightclaw)

and i have so many multiple litter couples!

Rookshadow and Mantisbrook have 13: Oaknose, Rattlerapid, Russetpaw, Bluffseed, Gleamheart, Quailwater, Snapgorse, Heathpaw, Lakebright, Fallenfur, Chivelight, Cricketpatch, Bubblingdapple

and right behind them, Lavenderclaw and Charfeather have 12: Lilacfrost, Sorrelthroat, Biteleaf, Snowfur, Smokejaw, Shellsun, Breezespots, Sloeblink, Ashstream (adopted), Greenpaw, Bubblekit, Prancekit

as for my favorite cats, its as follows: Claytail, Chip, McChicken, Almondblaze, Biteleaf, Barleystorm (he’s an a-hole), Ashstream, and Snowfur!

MOONS 48 & 49:

Moon 48: After a long but safe labor, FallenStar gives birth to OrangeKit and FinchKit, two beefy, happy babies. With her clan at her side once again, she is grateful to be able to enjoy the moment without the crushing pain of kittens lost. Allowing the cats of her previous litter to get up extra close, she gets to hold all her babies at once. Though it is usually not tradition for warriors to sleep in the nursery, the whole of PoppyClan hunkers down in the little den and celebrates by taking a group snooze.

Moon 49:

After moons of bashful looks and long walks together LoudWhisker and DarkFoot confess their feelings for one another at the same time. The clan isn't surprised- the toms had been sneaking away to gather herbs alone since their apprenticeships.

On one of their famous walks that very same moon, they stumble across a deceased molly, seemingly hit by a car as she'd been struggling to get across. At her belly lay two squirming newborns; and after giving the young cat a proper burial in the PoppyClan grave grounds, DarkFoot and LoudWhisker take the kits in as their own- a little girl, whom they name HoneyKit, and a little boy, PebbleKit. Though they mourn the death of the kits mother, they hope her spirit can rest easy knowing they will love them with all their hearts.

Landed in the clutches of Ma-Ma and her clan (basically a drug syndicate), he's threatened, abused - both verbally and physically - and coerced into helping the clan control and terrorize the whole of Peach Trees Mega Block. He does contain gib-ness, but he's also playful, and enjoys his patrolling. He also contains a bit of molly-ness by Clan standards, with how assertive he is.

He'd likely get remembered as what we'd consider to be a demiboy, a mix of Gibness and Tomness.

There's a couple cats now, with the Gender Update, who fit gibness in some form. Hollyleaf, Tallstar, Tigerclaw. Blackstar and Brokenstar were probably AGAB at birth because of the extra toe and bolt-shaped tail, respectively.

okay i feel like im going insane and making a red string board in my head but I've watched that Ichiban and Kiryu conversation way too many times and i swear Kiryu has to be lying to seem cool or the "proposal" he's talking about isn't a standard proposal. a man with nothing to hide wouldn't have his face shift from being this smug

to being this caught off guard when he's asked to give details

that's not the look of a man who's been asked to reveal something personal that might be emberassing or uncomfortable, that's the face of a man who got caught in a lie and doesn't know how to follow up.

i know Kiryu is pulling a story out of his ass to hold up a manly persona. he's looking around trying to come up with something believable because he didn't think through his gut reaction of "I need to seem cool in front of this younger guy who (maybe) looks up to me". man's looking around the skyline as if his childhood idea of a tough, macho yakuza is gonna float down and give him a story to tell.

I can't even think of who he could be referring to unless he's exaggerating his relationship with Yumi or Kaoru? or if it has something to do with the woman he's protecting in Gaiden but I wouldn't think so since that's just a side story. of course it's not impossible that he could have tried to have a relationship during one of the gaps in time between games (à la Majima having an ex-wife between games), but that would be a really cheap way to write themselves out of Kiryu being generally uninterested in women. in conclusion?
