imagine your f/o asking you to paint their nails for them because you just 'do it better'. carefully positioning their hand in your grasp; their fingers twitching, threatening to curl over yours and hold onto your hand but in the end they think better of it because you just look so cute, so concentrated as you slick the lacquer over their nails. you take your time, making sure that the coat is as even as possible; wanting to make your beloved feel as pretty as you know they are. your touch is gentle and warm around their fingers as you layer on the paint, its glossy sheen slowly transitioning from clear to opaque due to your efforts.

they smile as they watch you work, enjoying the opportunity to shamelessly admire your features while your attention is diverted. if you notice, you don't show it, only glancing up occasionally to mumble out a soft "stop moving" under your breath as you hold your f/o's hand steady. they can't help it if they're a little restless; no matter how long you've been together, these moments of casual intimacy always make them feel just as nervous as the first time.

what color do they pick? does your darling request a different pastel shade on every nail, or prefer to stick to simple classics (red, black, neutrals)? either way, you know they'll insist upon returning the favor after you're done, making sure to match your nails with theirs . even though you saw right through their excuse from the beginning, you'll never turn down the chance to spend time with them. ;p

I had a hard time deciding how I want to go about my new s/i. I was thinking two separate ones for Tyler and Enid. However, the dynamic is just way too funny if I just make it poly.
