I went to a botanical garden a while back and saw this beauty. I said aloud, "That is a botanical shitpost!" Then I misread its ID plaque and thought "Yes! Tree Euphoria is the emotion I'm experiencing!" Anyway, please witness this Tree Euphorbia (Euphorbia bourgaeana) with me

ok i doubt this is the true shape of the creature in question-- the fan shape looks like fasciation, which is an abnormality that can happen when a growing tip of a plant gets damaged or infected in a certain way-- but the absolute SHAPE this has taken as a result, like..... my god..... shapes that inflict tree europhoria upon ye for sure

BPD Acceptance & Awareness Flag

While there is a popular black and white BPD flag, I wanted to create one with more colour to show the depth of BPD. I was inspired by the NPD Awareness Flag by npdsafe, and the alternate NPD flag by npdflag to make this. I followed the amount of stripes the NPD flag has as to show solidarity between cluster B disorders.

Stripe Meanings:

(#000000) Black： Duality, Emptiness, and Support —

Black and White both represent the duality of BPD. Along with that, black represents feellings of being void, hollow and emptiness. It also represents support for people with BPD.

(#711f49) Purple-Red： Negative Intense Emotions —

Purple-Red, Dark Magenta, represents intense negative emotions, both internal and external. This includes overwhelming feelings of rejection, feelings of abandonment, anger, and more.

(#e24069) Pink-Red： Positive Intense Emotions —

Pink-Red, Lipstick Pink, represents intense positive emotions, both internal and external. This includes feelings of europhoria, love, healing, wellbeing, and more.

(#d6cce8) Light Lavender： Fear and Dissociation —

Light Lavender, Haze, represents fear, fear of abandonment, paranoia, dissociation, loss of sense of identity, feeling out of touch with reality, derealisation, and depersonalisation.

(#ada1d3) Dark Lavender：Solidarity and Remembrance. —

Dark Lavender, Periwinkle, represents solidarity between people with BPD and other cluster B disorders. It also serves as a reminder of the different ways BPD presents itself in different people. It also serves rememberance of those with BPD who have passed away.

White and Black both represent the duality of BPD. Along with that, white represents recovery, and that people with BPD are not hopeless.

How UK recovered from Europhoria

The relationship between the UK and the European Union has long been described in negative terms as an “awkward partnership” of ever “reluctant Europeans,” and eventually led to Brexit, according to UK in a Changing Europe.

However, the lack of a popular European identity coupled with deepening Europeanisation can hardly be considered an explanation for Brexit. In James Dennison’s recent working paper for UK in a Changing Europe, he attempted to explain why Britons in the late 1980s and early 1990s were so pro-European.

Dennison describes this phenomenon using a term used by the media in the UK, Europe and beyond to describe the mood of the time – Europhoria.

The Europhoria study provided a wealth of evidence that reminded how basic assumptions about even recent history are distorted by modernity, the author noted. Margaret Thatcher’s “Europe, the Future” 1984 paper called for a new Europe, dynamic through a single internal market, empowered through common defence, foreign, environmental, research and development policies.

The resulting Single Market Act succumbed to the sentiment for a single market in Europe, quickly supplemented by social rights and President Jacques Delors. Thatcher then called for a conference of British businessmen in 1988:

Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers (…) Bigger than Japan. Bigger than the United States. On your doorstep (…) And it’s only five years away.
