Even Happy When It Rains

Written for @erasercloudzine

“I can’t take those memories away, just like you can’t take this throbbing headache from me.” Oboro touched the striking scars on his forehead, too big to be covered by the loosely floating strands of his hair. Shouta swallowed in Oboro’s stead, because he knew how sensitive those scars were on rainy days.

Again, he simply shook his head and wrapped his fingers around Oboro’s wrist, pulling it back, like Oboro had pulled him back.

“I just want you to know that I’m here, and no damn rainfall in this world will change that.”

I preemptively apologize, since I know it isn't what most of you followed me for, but I'm in a big writing mood today and am probably going to work on some BNHA fic. I'm wanting to work on some short one-shots (and multi-chaps with shorter chapters) to get back in the zone of casually writing and expand my zine portfolio if I'm being totally honest.

There's a Shigaraki-centric fic I've been sitting on for a while that I'm gonna post after a shower. (Alas, you'll have to read it on here, since I want to edit and expand it a little before posting to Ao3.) But aside from that, what would you like to see me write first?

As you're a part of the mod team for the one in a mil zine (which is such a great idea! I'm really excited for it), I was wondering what are some of your favorite rarepairs (if you don't mind me asking)?

Hey there! First of all, I don't mind at all! My askbox is open and I welcome any and all messages!

As far as rarepairs go, I'm an easy bitch. If a good fic has been written about the pairing, I probably ship it. That said, a few rarepairs that I started shipping without/before reading any fic about it are Dabi/Miruko, Shigaraki/Fuyumi, and Todoroki/Inasa. Oh, I also enjoy Shigaraki/Spinner and Toga/Tsuyu! Writing Laws of Brutality also inadvertently introduced me to the concept of Shouto/Toga, which has far more potential than I anticipated. A part that hasn't been posted yet caused some lowkey Aizawa/Rei vibes as well. Speaking of Aizawa, I lowkey crackshipped Aizawa/Kurogiri before certain recent chapters, and now... Erasercloud rights, I say.

(All of this is without getting into the crackship landmine that is KiR.)

So yes! Long story short, I am a rarepair multishipper taken to the extreme.

8/11/2022 UPDATE: ALL BUNDLES DELIVERED!

We're VERY happy to report that ALL physical bundles have officially arrived safe and sound, and ALL digital PDFs and merch have also been sent out! So what's next for the project?

Now that we know there's no need for replacement shipments, we can move forward with leftover sales! We need to get a proper count of A and B grade items and update our shop accordingly, as well as order some more shipping supplies. But this means the shop can re-open very soon!

Leftover sales will last approximately one month, or until products are completely sold out. Keep in mind, there are very minimal quantities of all products, so if you're interested, you'll want to order sooner rather than later.

Once leftovers end, we will of course send out those shipments next. Once we know everything has arrived safely, the last thing to do is handle finances. As a 50/50 project, we will ensure half of our final profit goes to our chosen charity, and the other half to contributors.

Once the money has been fully dispersed, that will officially mark the end of the project. There will not be a second edition of this zine, so once again, if you're interested in leftover sales, you don't want to wait. Stay tuned for when we'll be opening the shop again!
