Emma buys an antique desk that she sees in a charity shop (after coming out of prison and getting a job). Anyway, when she gets it back to her new apartment, she finds a letter in a secret compartment of the desk. It's from young and innocent Regina just before she meets Daniel.

They somehow end up writing to another via this desk. Sort of like in the film The Lake House. Emma does some Google searches and discovers who Regina is and who she will become (the EQ). But they end up falling in love via the letters and then they meet when Henry brings Emma to Storybrooke. Inspired by the film "The Love Letter (1998)

Only to be rescued by a mysterious blonde woman, whom she runs into again and again throughout her trip. Disappointed and let down that she is the only one without love this Christmas season, she forces Emma to pretend that they are dating in front of her family. Where love will slowly begin to bloom.

It might be overkill, but if you can get a copy of the DSM-5 from a local library or something, it lists all the diagnoses and criteria for various mental issues. At the very least, you might find convincing terms to use.

I had a group of friends but I wouldn't say we were a 'clique'.

I think so. Just in the fact that I still have no idea what kind of career I want and things like that. But in other ways I think I know exactly who I am. I don't know, it's complicated :P
