I really hope I captured your Hueso alright, he is such a good dad and the twins deserve a little bit of support. Plus I couldn't NOT draw the Leos together >:) (also I saw some fanart where Hueso's threatening Draxum to get Leo and I thought it was so good so I tried to nod to that concept here as well lol)

how did you go about designing gemini mikey venus and jennika's masks? they look so cool!

Oh gosh what a fun question. I'm about to babble a bunch so I'll put it below a cut 'cause it's long, sorry...

The main motivation for giving Mikey a mask in the first place was I wanted him to have some design element that called back to the horns on Draxum's helmet, (kinda like how @evenmoreofadisaster's Two does) to represent how Mikey looks up to him and emphasize the importance of their relationship. I didn't wanna just do the same thing as EMD, though, of course, and that same design element wouldn't work for Mikey the way it does for Two, anyway. So then the question was-- how do I give this guy horns?

I ended up landing on "oh, I can give him a mask!" I referenced a bunch of different japanese oni masks for the design-- it specifically has 'X's' for eyes to reference his canon kneepads. :3c I hadn't planned to include Venus and Jennika when I designed Mikey, and ended up adding them in a bit later, but it always kinda seemed obvious that they should have masks, too...

I wanted Venus's mask to appear a bit calmer and softer, to kind of reflect her personality, and while I considered giving her the classic "mask tail braid," I also wanted to give her a bow (since all the Hamato Kids have one somewhere!) and keep her 'different,' so I ended up deviating slightly and giving her braids coming from the mask's 'mouth,' instead, to represent smoke, steam, or clouds, which is a somewhat common motif I saw when looking at reference materials for her.

For Jennika, I knew I wanted to give her a big ol' bow, and after a bit of experimenting I decided the best way to do this was to put the mask on the back of her head-- which I also found meant I had the chance to add the fun little design element of giving her 'horns' that sort of appear to be her own by poking out over the top of her head. She's a bit of a spit-fire, so she has sort of 'devilish' little horns to represent this. Her mask being on the back of her head instead of the front like her siblings is also sort of a reference to how she feels a bit less connected to their 'mission' than them, or at least, feels the devotion differently than they do. Venus and Mikey's masks, the visual representation of their relationship with Draxum and their 'divine mission,' is right in the forefront, covering half their faces. Though Jennika still wears a mask, her face is bare-- her mask is behind her, rather than being the very first thing you see.

EMD ROTTMNT AU and EMD! Two/Donnie by @evenmoreofadisaster and OC Lillian by me! Still ongoing draft of art that's finishing soon!

Some facts about my oc + abt her in this AU:

-Full name: Lillian Jevika "Hellburn" Banner

-Age:16

-Height: 5'7"[in my own interpretation I view Two to be at least 5'8"-5'9"]

-She/Her+ Female

-Hypersexual/Polysexual

-Cannibalistic. 'Demon born in human form'--- has royalty blood

-Leader of "Hellburn Riot", a tight-knit villain team consisting of 4 girls: Lillian, Zayna, Merlin and Tanya

•In this AU(just like the og one I created), Lillian comes from a parallel world where her mother was a queen named Alista, Entity of Harmony and Peace. In this timeline, the Kraang attacked her world, and during this time Lillian was only a toddler. So while Queen Alista fought off the Kraang, her father Flama sent her through a portal to another world before getting blasted by a laser beam. Throughout this time, Lillian experienced cruelty from the humans of the new universe she arrived in but was saved by Zayna's father and her, taking her in before he died of lung cancer a couple of years later, leaving Lillian under Zayna's care till now.

•But unlike in my AU where Lillian and her team knew all the Hamato brothers altogether, Hellburn Riot instead has ties with One and Two, along with Draxum of course. And as for Lillian's relationship with Two.....let's just say they are f*cking deranged. With Lillian being a yandere and Two seeing her as a way to prove himself to Draxum- since not only was Lillian INCREDIBLY powerful but she was also (secret) royalty- the two of them developed a twisted kind of love but still respects one another.

"Draxum fears/doesn't trust him like he trusts One." Yo????? The idea that Draxum is afraid of Two is such an interesting take on these characters

Draxum: I fear no man. But that thing... Two: (builds 20 different kinds of lethal weapons in one night while trying to figure out how to alter his genetic makeup) Draxum: it scares me.. yeah I think Two and Draxum's relationship is interesting because Draxum sees all the most dangerous parts of himself amplified in Two, sees how dangerously smart Two is at an early age, but how he's incredibly reckless at the same time. Two will sacrifice anything without hesitation to get the job done and Draxum can only see how that could go wrong. He knows that Two would have no problem doing whatever Draxum asked him to do, which is terrifying because Draxum carefully balances his own ethics with his mission to protect the yokai. Meanwhile Two's only moral compass is doing anything and everything Draxum asks and only wants his dad's approval. So Draxum pushing Two away because he makes the mission too easy and because he often makes him worry for his experiments is really just making Two more determined to get his way, more angry, more chaotic, and so he takes way more risks.

What appeals you to stoki? And what is it you don't like about steve/bucky, steve/tony, tony/loki, thor/loki, etc (romantic side)? Oh yeah, is there an emd game kinda pair for tony & thor since you hc them as manwhore? Basically me asking about your opinion and hcs on mcu ships (romantic/platonic)

Oh, now this is a toughie!

Loki has had a lot of trouble in his life, he would need someone dependable and strong in his life to help him see his worth, I think Steve fits that bill quite well.  They just seem to work (for me) on so many levels.

Steve/Bucky has been done to death, I think that’s part of the reason it doesn’t appeal.  I am sure there are thousands of stories out there about them, well written and probably having a thousand kudos as they are the ‘in’ pairing.  I just see them as brothers, not lovers.  Good luck to all those that do ship them though.

Steve/Tony well it’s sort of comic book canon that they flirt with each other in some odd way.  But as I take my cues from the MCU, I see zero chemistry there at all.  Nada, zip.  Plus I couldn’t see Steve being happy with a playboy.

Thor/Loki gives me the heebie jeebies, they were raised as brothers, that just comes over as creepy for them to fall into bed together.  I guess if it’s an AU where they aren’t raised together then it would not be as bad?

Tony/Loki, yeah I could see it, they are both self-destructive personalities, but that’s not always a good thing.  Again, it’s been done to death for me, so anything I wrote for it would be probably already out there.  Just not for me I’m afraid. 

I thought about writing a Tony/Thor scene for Oddity, it just never made the cut.  As Thor is currently single in it, as is Tony, you never know!  I actually have a plot idea for Thor/Bucky hooking up, as a byproduct of trying to get Steve and Loki together.. Eh.  Maybe?
