Last night I had a dream that Jeff Winger was trans but didn’t want to transition because she was scared of what exactly her life would be like afterwards but she had such strong dysphoria that she ended up socially transitioning without doing any other form of transitioning and everyone loved and supported her still and I was there in the room feeling overwhelmed with queer solidarity so I sent a text to my best friend that said “Jeff Winger 🤝 Elanore Shellstrop- being queer but in an environment that’s so safe that they never need to come out”

"Someone in the Bad Place has requested an appointment with you," Janet said formally. "OK." Eleanor set her book aside. "Who?" Usually Janet just popped up by Elanor's shoulder and said -- in tones she'd learned from Jason -- Yo, Homie! Madison wants to see you!. Although she hadn't done that in a while; most of the people Eleanor had known on Earth had moved on by now. Eleanor frowned. Almost everyone she'd known on Earth. Certainly everyone she'd had any major interaction with... except for .... Eleanor felt her stomach drop. Oh no. Janet's eyes were infinitely compassionate. "Donna Shellstrop," she said quietly.

(For those who wish to fit this into the timeline, it takes place after season 4. A few sentences were modified to avoid spoilers.)

Okay so what if my fanfiction story uses the Gaimanverse and specifically Lux as a hub; I could theoretically bring in any character I want. Jane Villanueva from Jane the Virgin celebrates her 40th at Lux. Or maybe Mateo's 21st is there. I'm sure its reasonable to assume Elanore Shellstrop crossed through Lux, or maybe some of the older Glee kids? Maybe Betty Suarez goes for a drink after a day full of long editorial meetings in LA. Idk. Who knows? But that's what I want to write.

Season three of the good place is so funny because they really tried to push this whole “learning about ethics makes you a better person” narrative but they all just really needed therapy
