What's your favourite ice cream flavour?
:3c! butter pecan, and she better be LOADED. (rocky road, pistachio, coffee, and jamocha almond fudge (baskin robbins flavor) are also on the list of top tier flavors for me :3c)
ok but hang on. so butter pecan holds a lot of nostalgia and Good Feelings and Memories for me, a lot of warmth. my grandma was the one who introduced me to this flavor, and always was happy to plop a scoop into one of those glass dessert bowls for me. but i'll tell ya: i'm starting to wonder if i'd somehow gotten the flavor wrong.
cuz like. i'm a 90s kid, ok, and flavors sure do change. i know one thing and it's that it WAS the Dreyer's brand (also known as Edy's, because america is stupid like that (take Carls Jr. vs Hardee's, for example IT'S THE SAME THING, WHY)) and i'm PRETTY SURE it was the Grand because Slow Churned may have been a Later thing? like more recent, within the past 10/15 years? and i coulda sworn it had toffee bits or something when i was little. but it wasn't a toffee-specific ice cream.
also there used to be a gelato brand that had THE. FUCKING. BEST. key lime pie gelato ON GOD. it was like. mello or something..?? now that was mid-late 2000s. i know this because i was at least 19 and living on my own. i have a lot of food-based memories don't look at me. also was def playing Wrath at the time STOP LOOKING AT ME,
i also realy like the Halo Top line tho, and a lot of the Enlightened stuff (MARSHMALLOW PEANUT BUTTER SWIRL BABY MY LOVE AND MY LIFE PLEASE COME BACK. PLEASE PLEASE P L E A S E COME BACK) and i'm glad i'm not seeing Arctic Zero anywhere anymore because that shit was TRASH. anyway did you guys ever know i wanted to be a junk food blogger hahaha

Hop on the bus, Gus!
Paul Simon - Still Crazy After All These Years (Columbia, 1975) - Designed by John Berg and Anthony Maggiore, photograph by Edie Baskin
I don't recall ever seeing Simon with a mustache. Unless he shaved it off immediately after this photo shoot.
Words cannot describe how much of a Paul Simon fanatic my mom is, and I'm not exaggerating: she has a CD box set of Simon & Garfunkel's whole studio recordings and a huge CD box compilation of Simon's solo work up to 1994. She's got issues.
Some copies of this album are embossed.

what if Carol Baskin's husband, Howard Baskin, is actually Edie Baskin? Edie Baskin is the lesser known son of Baskin-Robbins founder, Burt Baskin.
