She's proud.
Eddie munson x reader
Summary: short but sweet Wayne watching you and Eddie over the years. The upside down doesn't exist in this.
1983-
Eddie invited a girl he liked to his house to hang out. Wayne walked past his nephews room and peeked in checking nothing was going on. Wayne was met with his nephew and the girl who's name he didn't know sat awkwardly in the edge of Eddie's bed. He chuckled to himself and went to the bathroom.
1984-
Wayne was walking to the bathroom and saw Eddie's door open so he peeked in knowing you was over making sure you was both OK. You were Eddie's girlfriend and had been over a lot. Before he could speak he saw you laying on your side asleep and Eddie laying practically on top of you also asleep. He smiled and went to the bathroom.
1985-
Wayne heard a racket coming from Eddie's room, so he decided to go see what it was. You had graduated. Eddie had not. Yet you two were still together. When Wayne opened eddies door, he was met with you and Eddie Pillow fighting. You stood on his bed. Eddie stood next to the bed. Eddie dived taking you down to the bed, and he kissed you. Wayne closed the door and laughed, going back to the living room.
1986-
Wayne looked into his nephews room and saw the boxes piled as you both were taking them out to Eddie's van. You and Eddie found an apartment to rent off of a friend of Wayne's and took it immediately. Wayne smiled to himself looking to where Eddie's bed used to be to see you and Eddie stood your arms wrapped around one and other. Eddie looked at Wayne and smiled before you let eachother go and continued moving boxes.
1987-
Wayne was helping you, and Eddie at your apartment as you'd just got married and as there wasn't many people you had the after party there. He was helping throw trash away as you were just married. Eddie came walking out of the bathroom in his boxers and tee shirt before starting to help Wayne tidy.
Moments later you joined them on the cleaning mission. Not only were you wearing your matching wedding band with Eddie but also his tee shirt and his guitar pick necklace. Wayne glanced between the both of you as you looked at eachother with lovesick smiles as Eddie kisses you. You scrunch your face and mumble something to which Eddie pretends to be hurt by grabbing his chest.
You lean over and kiss him as he smiles finishing tidying up.
1988-
Wayne walks into your apartment seeing you stood in the kitchen and Eddie in the living room. He walks into the living room and sees Eddie standing bouncing his 5 day old daughter. "You did it." Wayne says, sitting on the couch. Eddie looks at his uncle, confused then to you as you enter the living room with a shrug.
You sit on the couch aswell also looking at Wayne confused. "When Eddie was around 11 he told me he never wanted a girlfriend let alone a wife and kids. When he met you he wanted that and more. Here he is stood bouncing you twos baby in your apartment married to you." Wayne says leaning back.
Eddie remembers the conversation between him and Wayne and smiles glancing down at his daughter. "And its like you said to me you say that now but you'll meet someone who will change that. Hate to say it but I suppose you was right." Eddie says eith an eye roll.
"You admitting to being wrong will always be funny to me you child." You say handing Wayne his coffee. Eddie passes you your daughter and sits next to you wrapping an arm around your shoulders. Wayne looks at the two of you and smiles again.
Both looking at your daughter. Both wearing wedding rings. Eddie glancing at you and smiling and occasionally kissing your head. Wayne thinks back to when you was both sat awkwardly on Eddie's bed.
"You know y/n when you left after the first time you came to the trailer Eddie wouldn't stop rambling about how embarrassed he was because held your hand and his hand was all sweaty and he thought he'd never see you again." Wayne says with a smirk looking Eddie dead in the eyes as his jaw goes slack.
"I hate you so much. I told you that in secret. Can't believe my own uncle would betray me like that." Eddie says mouth still agape starring at wayne.
"Your telling me out of everything I already know about you that embarrasses you. Eddie were married for fucks sake and that embarrasses you not that fact you decided it was a good time to take a dump while I was showering that." You say starring at your husband.
"Number one, we had just started talking n I had this big crush on you I thought I'd messed up so yes Mt teenager acts embarrass me. Number two why are you both spilling my secrets fuck me." HE says throwing his head back. You giggle and kiss his jaw.
Wayne smiles looking at the two of you seeing how Eddie's grown. How you've grown together. He's never been prouder.
Hours later you had gone to you and Eddie's bedroom to feed your daughter. Eddie seeing Wayne out. "By the way Ed?" Wayne says before he leaves ans Eddie glances up at him. "Your mother is so proud of you right now." HE says smiling at Eddie.
Eddie smiles at wayne and Nods. "You think?" He says raising his eyebrows.
"I know." Wayne says before leaving.
Eddie walks to your bedroom to see your daughter feeding of you and you glance at him. "He's right." You say. "HUH?" Eddie says confused.
"Your mom is so fucking proud of you." You says quietly. Eddie crawls next to you and kisses you. "I love you so fucking much." Eddie says putting his forehead on yours.
"I love you so fucking much too." You says kissing him again. Eddie looks at his daughter and rests his head on your shoulder.
This was all Eddie needed right here. His daughter and his wife. What he never thought could happen to him did. Nothing could ruin him. Not the bully's from Hawkins High, not his dad, not what people think of him. The only people who matter are sat on his bed with him. He kisses you again taking you by surprise this time and you smile at eachother.
You were Mr, Mrs and mini munson.
And Wayne ofcourse

Worlds Apart
(Yes the title is based on Separate Ways by Journey)
Summary: You and Eddie Munson had decided to keep your relationship a secret, but still, it was hard to keep his hands to himself when you wore your cheer uniform.
Eddie Munson x cheerleader! reader
warning: a lil jealousy, moaning, neck kissing, lowkey nsfw? thigh grabbing, secret relationship.
It’s kinda short lol sorry
Word count: 1527
Enjoy!
. . .
As you jumped up and down, your skirt flowing around your thighs as your pom-poms shaked in your hands as you smiled at the crowd.
It was just practice, but your outside practices always gathered a crowd, and you couldn’t say you minded. It was nice to see people getting excited to see you and your friends perform.
All the eyes being on you, watching with such intent. It made your heartbeat a little faster. More excited. You loved the cheering and praise you all got from the crowd, loving the way other little girls would try hard to follow your moves.
And yet, your eye’s searched for one person and one person only. Your boyfriend, Eddie Munson.
You couldn’t help but bite your lip out of nervousness, your eyes searching the crowd desperately.
And then, there he was. A bit behind the bleachers, but his eyes locked on you.
His eyes were only on you, only on your body, as if his eyes physically couldn’t look away.
You smiled at him, winking before you went into a heel stretch, your skirt flying up revealing your skin-tight shorts.
You knew exactly how much he loved your cheer skirt. For someone who hated the popular crowd, he sure did love your cheer uniform.
You saw him smile at you, his eyes traveling down your legs. He may have been trying to hid himself away from the crowd, but he stuck out like a sore thumb, and you loved it.
You and Eddie had been dating for over seven months now. And you still couldn’t believe it, the freak and the cheerleader, who would have thought? Certainly not you two, that's for sure. But, here you both were, dating and madly in love with each other.
You loved how dorky Eddie was, his nerdy and charismatic personality winning you over. Besides, you never liked jocks anyway.
And Eddie was so sweet to you. Always up for anything you wanted to do, always buying you anything your eyes would even glimpse at. He would always have a hand on you, on your thigh, your hand, your hair. He just loved touching you. Anything you wanted in this whole world, Eddie wouldn’t think twice before giving it to you.
God, Eddie Munson was going to be the death of you.
The one thing about your relationship was that it was secret. No one knew, no one.
Well, besides Eddie’s uncle.
You two had decided early on into the relationship that you two wanted to keep things only between you two. Not having it out in the open made you two feel safe and better about your relationship.
But now, now you wished so bad that you could show him off. Call him yours. Kiss him deeply in public. Feels his hands on you during class, oh how you would probably die if he felt you up during class-
“Y/N!” Chrissy Cunningham squealed excitedly, “That was a good practice! You did really good.”
You smiled at Chrissy, nodding your head, “Yeah totally! Oh my god Chriss you did so well!”
As you and Chrissy talked, you felt a hand on your shoulder, “Look at you two! You both did so well!”
Your shoulders couldn’t help but cringe as you felt Jasons' hands on you, but you smiled. “Thanks, Jason!”
Chrissy smiled at him as he snaked an arm around her, “So, what are you guys up to tonight? Patrick is throwing a party tonight. Y/N you should totally come! In fact, I know Patrick has had his eye on you for a while,” Jason winked at you as you mentally threw up.
“O-oh…um no. Sorry, I promised I’d uh- help my mom today. But you guys have fun!”
You Quickly avoided any other questions that Jason had for you. making your way over to the bleachers.
But he was nowhere to be seen, as you checked the other side, you realized that your long-haired boyfriend was nowhere to be found.
“Damn it,” you sighed.
The sight of Jason must have scared him off, must have brought him back to reality, and made him realize that you two couldn’t be seen together.
Your body shivered at the thought. Maybe it was weird, to be turned on by the prospect of how taboo your relationship was. About how no one, besides you two, knew about what you were doing.
But your body felt electric, electric at the thought of having him all to yourself. Leading a double life, as a goody-two-shoes cheerleader, and as Eddie Munson's lover.
But in times like this, you did wish that you could be open. Open about your relationship, to tell your friends that you weren't going to help your mom with some chores, but instead we're going to go and see your boyfriend. Watch a stupid horror movie, cuddle up on the couch as you held his hand, knowing your lips would somehow find his by the end of the night.
You wanted desperately to tell everyone that they were wrong about Eddie Munson, that he was a sweet, gentle, and caring person. That he was the kindest and most considerate man you’ve ever met. That he was so handsome, sometimes you could barely look away from his face.
And it pissed you off, how wrong they were, how they didn’t understand him like you did.
You kicked a rock away from your foot, needing to get your frustration out.
As you made your way over to the changing rooms, still frustrated and still upset about the fact that Eddie had left due to your friends, you felt a hand tug at your skirt.
You whipped around, preparing to slap whoever hand it was away. But only two see to shining deep brown eyes staring back at you
“Eddie!” you scolded, “What are you-”
Before you could say anything else, his hands grabbed yours, tugging you away.
And you let him, his hand intertwined in yours, as you let him lead you away to the nearby forest, watching as his face remained composed but the light in his eyes never faded.
You swallowed thickly, sometimes it was hard to know what he was thinking. Those deep brown eyes never betrayed any emotion that he truly felt. Sometimes you wish desperately to reach into his mind, to know exactly what he was planning.
But maybe that was another thing to love about him, his mystery.
“Eddie, what is this,” you asked.
When Eddie was sure that no one could see you too, he pursues his lips and turned to you. “Sorry,” he said, “ I just needed you to get away from those guys. I just… I wanted to talk to you.”
You quirked an eyebrow, “Talk about what?”
Eddie sighed, looking away from you. “Well for one,” he took a step closer to you, “I really like the skirt.”
You felt a hand come over your exposed thigh, his cold rings making you flinch with the contrast of his warm hands.
He now had you pinned up against a tree, his face dangerously close to yours. So close- in face- you could hear his breathing. And by god, did you want to kiss him.
“And for two,” he said, his voice in your ear, “who the fuck is Patrick?”
You sighed. Eddie wasn’t the jealous type, he truly wasn’t. But considering how your relationship was known by only you two, he had a problem getting a little more protective.
“Some jock guy. Friends of Jasons. He…he asked me out a few days ago.”
Eddie shot back, his hand leaving your thigh as if you burned him.
“What? And you didn’t think to tell me?”
You gave him a quizzical look. He normally was very chill, he was normally the more sensible one in your relationship. Although some may find that hard to believe.
“I didn’t because I didn’t think it mattered. Eddie, I love you. And I’ve never even thought about anyone else, much less Patrick.”
Eddie bit his lip, “So what you’re saying is,” his hands coming back to your waist, “You’re all mine?”
You rolled your eyes, “Yes, Eddie,” your arms wrapped around his shoulders, “I’m all yours.”
Eddie gave you that dorky smile you loved so much, “Good, because I’m all yours sweetheart.”
His lips came crashing down on yours, and you couldn’t help but smirk as you felt his body against yours. His hands coming to squeeze your thighs before moving to your hips.
As you both deepend the kiss, you noticed just how exposed you both were, in the middle of the woods somewhere.
You pulled back, but Eddie just used that as an excuse to attack your neck.
“Eddie,” you hated how his name came out in a moan, “Eddie, we should go back to your house. Yeah? I can…” you let out another moan as he bit down on your neck.
You could feel Eddies smirk on your skin, “You can show me what, sweetheart?”
You bit you lip, hard, before saying, “I can show you a few new moves. But some I learned only for you.”
Eddie’s face shot back from your neck, looking into your eyes.
“God,” he said breathlessly, “I love you.
. . .
A little short I know, but it’s my first story for this blog so I hope you like it :)

Buy me a Valentines drink | Masterlist |
Tumblr media
Eddie hated Valentine’s Day, hated anything to do with commercial holidays. He’d ramble on to you about how you shouldn’t buy into all the crap they sell.
You had been friends for years, every year his famous “I hate Valentine’s Day” speech was chanted under the moonlight with a can of beer and a fat blunt.
Not wanting to ruin his enthusiasm, you kept your mouth shut. You loved Valentines Day, every year at school you would receive at least 2 cards in your locker. Since leaving school the same 2 cards would sit on your mat in the morning of February 14th.
Your outfit would match the red, pink and white theme, you would bake themed cupcakes and drink themed cocktails. All in secret from Eddie.
Since you had begun sleeping with him, you would receive a little red card on your doorstep along with the other 2 cards. Not knowing that it was from Eddie, his handwriting was neater than you usually saw it.
As you danced around in your kitchen, balancing a metal cake tray in your hand. The doorbell rang, startling you letting it ring for a few moments to place the cupcakes into the oven.
The red and pink apron tied around your waist, humming the last verse of the song that was playing on the radio. Your face fell in shock as your eyes met Eddie’s.
He was clutching onto a red bouquet of roses and a cream envelope with a smile on his face.
“Eddie, I didn’t expect to see you” your cheeks flushed red as you steadied yourself with a little laugh and invited him in.
"Well you don't think I haven't guessed where you go on this particular day?" his eyebrows knitted together with that beautiful smile.
This year was different, his deep brown eyes tinkled in the light of your kitchen. The flowers on the counter with a small card tucked between the seams of the wrapping.
You felt embarrassed, flour coated your apron, your hair was scraped back in a bun and your kitchen was coated with various ingredients.
"I thought I was very conspicuous" you giggled, your cheeks flushing even redder.
He dipped his finger into the cake batter in front of him, you gasped in shock pulling the bowl away from him. You felt his eyes on you as you scraped it out into the cake tins, juggling the two pans as you opened the oven. Rushing over, he grabbed the oven and helped you.
Your faces inches apart, he leant down and kissed you. His hair tangling between your necklace and apron, your cake covered hands touched his face as he pushed you closer to the counter.
Lifting you up, sliding between your legs as things got heated. Your hands slid into his hair, tugging it slightly as his lips kissed across your cheek and onto your neck. Your breathing getting heavier as he nibbled down onto your skin, licking the red mark as he grinded against your crotch.
His hand slides underneath your blue jeans, his other undoing your button and zip to enable enough room. Your underwear was already drenched from kissing, he smirked at you as he spanked your clit softly.
"Already wet for me, I see" smirking, his hand began to play with your clit above your underwear.
You whimpered and whined on his lips as you grew wetter and wetter, his hand slid underneath the fabric touching your skin. Watching you shiver as his finger touched your clit, making soft circular motions that caused you to moan loudly.
Quickening his pace around your clit, feeling it grow wetter and wetter as your hips aggressively moved against the counter. His body is still pressing against yours, feeling his hard cock against your thigh as he moves with you.
Kissing your lips roughly, pushing you further against the wall as you rode against his fingers. Sliding them down between your folds as he pulled off your trousers, exposing more of your pussy to him.
He groaned at the sight of it, as he played with your entrance, spanking your clit before sliding his fingers slowly inside. You gasped at the feeling, your pussy pulsating around his fingers.
His lips sucking onto your neck as he curled his fingers inside you, gradually picking up the pace as he hit your soft spot. Desperately groaning into his mouth, his thumb played with your clit as his fingers slammed into you.
Grinding against the counter as you moved with his fingers, your apron was loose around your neck making you giggle as it hit Eddie in the face slightly.
“Fuck Eddie, im going to cum” you whined, his fingers moving quickly inside you as he watched your expressions change.
Pressing yourself against him, digging your nails into his back as he edged you closer to your orgasm. Your legs shaking against the counter, you came hard on his fingers. He continued until you were gasping with exhaustion, smirking as your hands fumbled over his jeans.
Quickly undoing them, letting them fall to his ankles as his hard cock moved against your thighs. He slowly slid his cock inside you, grunting as your pussy took his whole length.
Your hips bucking against his cock, sitting in a wet puddle of your own cum as he moved against you. Groaning, his hands gripping onto your skin for support as his tip hit your soft spot. Clenching around him, your moans echoed into his ear as you slipped slightly on the wet patch making you laugh as he continued to move inside you.
Picking you up and moving you, holding onto you as you bounced on his cock. Your oven timer loudly went off, startling you both. He put you on the floor, turning you so that your back faced him and edged himself inside you as you opened the oven.
His cock slid in and out of you as you carefully took the cakes out the oven, groaning as you threw it onto the counter. Grabbing onto as much of the side as you could, he bent your head closer to the drawer as he slammed into you.
Spanking your cheeks hard until it stung, enjoying the feeling of them rippling against his cock. His tip circling inside you, with every spank you felt him get closer and closer to his orgasm. Rocking yourself back and forth onto his cock, his groans filled your ears with extasy.
“Such a good boy for me aren’t you?” you panted, his body slamming into yours.
“Yes baby, all for you. Fuck i’m so close” he whimpered, slowly down slightly.
“You going to cum in me? Huh? Fill up my pretty pussy” you moaned aggressively, moving yourself back onto his cock.
Smirking to yourself as you felt his body twitch, his cock emptying his hot load of cum into your dripping pussy. He pulled your arms backwards as he grunted, thrusting his cum deeper inside you. Not moving from inside you until there was only a little bit of his cum dripping down your legs.
Quickly redressing, he pushed against the counter and kissed you. The cake slid closer to the wall from the pressure of your bodies, his tongue slid into your mouth as he smiled.
“Happy Valentine's day baby. I’ll be back later to fill your aching pussy once more” he pinched your ass before leaving the flowers on the counter.
Gasping in shock, you waited a moment before peering at the red note tucked into the flowers. Your heart racing as you recognise the coloured envelope, practically ripping open the letter to see the familiar handwriting. Rushing upstairs, after fumbling around in your desk you found the other cards from years before. Comparing them to the one from Eddie, you froze.
Eddie had been writing you love letters every year on Valentines Day, throughout your friendship they had been subtle but as you read the one from last year and the one from today. You noticed that they were deeper and longer, more intimate.
Eddie Munson had fallen in love with you and was slowly confessing his love to you through these letters every year. Melting at the idea, you flopped onto the bed clutching the red letters and smiled.
You knew weren’t wrong to think that he had feelings too.

As soon as the band left the stage, they were jumping up and down and screaming. It had taken them a bit, but they'd gotten here: to a stage with an audience that was way bigger than five people who weren't drunk. (Well. Most of them weren't drunk.)
Gareth and Eddie threw themselves at each other, laughing with maniacal joy.
"We did it, man!" Eddie shouted. "We did it!" He grinned hugely, not even caring that his face hurt, or that he could already feel the growing scratch in his throat.
Jeff careened into Gareth and Eddie. "Oh my God!" was all he could say. "Oh my God!"
Gareth slung his arms around his two best friends, waving over their fourth band member, Grant. "Waddya say we go get plastered? We've earned it."
"I won't turn down a drink or two," Jeff said with a grin.
Grant rolled his eyes. "I think you mean four."
"Well," Jeff said, his grin admitting everything.
Eddie brushed a hand through his hair and wiped sweat on his jacket sleeve. "What're we thinking, the roadhouse?"
Gareth grinned mischievously. "Nah. I was thinking Everett's."
Eddie very nearly choked. "Everett's? You want to go to the classiest restaurant in Hawkins, dressed like this and covered in sweat?"
Gareth shrugged. "Why not? We're about to be world famous, man!"
"That might be going a little too far," Jeff said.
"I dunno," Gareth said. "If we can make it big in a town that hates metal, I think we can make it everywhere."
Eddie rolled his eyes and ruffled Gareth's hair. "Keep dreaming, Gareth." He stood, panting for a moment, then shook himself out. "Alright. If we're gonna do this, I'm gonna get changed."
Grant snorted. "Afraid you're gonna run out the prisses at Everett's with your stench?"
As he left them standing there, Eddie flipped him off over his shoulder with a laugh.
~❊~
Eddie had never felt so out of place in his life. While his friends got piss drunk, Eddie stared around the posh restaurant, feeling the stares from its patrons—dressed properly, eating properly, sitting properly, sipping idly on alcoholic drinks—burning into him. He wanted to sink into the cushioned booth seat, but there was hardly enough room for his legs under the table sitting properly.
Gareth came back from the bar, plopping into his seat beside Eddie. He passed Eddie a drink. "Got ya one," he said, his voice already a little less sharp, and they'd only been in the restaurant for a half-hour.
"Uh, thanks," said Eddie. He'd never felt self-conscious about drinking before in his life. "Aren't we supposed to wait for the waitress like in a regular restaurant?"
"Nah, sign says we can walk up to the bar," said Jeff. "What's up with you, man?"
Eddie shrugged.
"Oh, come on, something's wrong, you're not yourself here," Jeff insisted.
"And why do you think?" Eddie grumbled.
"We deserve to be here as much as—"
"Hello, gentlemen!" said a light and welcoming voice. Eddie felt immeasurable relief that you presence had stopped an argument before he even saw you.
Then he did see you.
You were dressed like all the other waitresses in a dark green uniform, holding your little notebook to take orders, wearing a pleasant smile. But your hair was done up in a much more personalized way, meant to show off your features. Your nails were immaculately painted the same forest green as your uniform. You wore simple gold rings on almost every finger. A necklace of gold and small pearls hung around your neck. Something about you had a certain level of class.
Eddie felt the sudden urge to fix his hair and straighten out his jacket. He fidgeted with his rings.
"I see we've already been to the bar, but are there any drinks I can get you boys?" you asked. Your voice was pleasant and airy, not at all fake.
While his bandmates gave you their drink orders, Eddie just stared. He felt his heart begin to pound, almost as much as when he'd been shredding on his guitar just about two hours ago.
Gareth nudged him suddenly, and Eddie became aware that he was blatantly staring. And you had asked him a question. And he hadn't answered it. Because he was blatantly staring.
Eddie turned scarlet as your lips twitched in amusement. He wiped a hand over his face. "Er...sorry, what?"
"What can I get you to drink, love?"
Love. Oh, no. Oh, no no no no no. Eddie's cheeks were already burning before that word, but now he felt like he was in hell.
"Um...just...just water. Is. Is fine." For the love of Christ, stop stuttering, Eddie!
Grant frowned. "You alright, man?"
Gareth to the rescue, as usual. He said to you, "Sorry about him. We've just had a really big day for our band, and he's sort of out of it. Probably the heat from those lights on stage."
You closed your book, slipping it and your pen into your pocket. You leaned on the table. Eddie whisked his eyes from you to the table as your buttoned shirt revealed more than he'd been expecting. The feeling of mortification was new, unexpected, and made Eddie's stomach twist. "Your band?"
Gareth leaned forward. "Yep! We've finally performed in front of a huge crowd. It went really well, we came here to celebrate."
You sucked in your lower lip. "Your band... Is it Corroded Coffin, by any chance?"
Eddie's head snapped up. "You know us?"
You beamed. "I swore you looked familiar, I knew I recognized you all from somewhere! My brother drags me to all of your concerts!"
"Your brother?" asked Jeff.
"Drags?" asked Eddie, timid and frowning.
"Well, I say he drags me, but that's only literal. He takes me by the hand and pulls me to your performances every time he knows you have one. I love going to see you guys! Your music is so different from everything in Hawkins, I love it. He tried to get me to go tonight, but—" You stood straight up again and spread your arms, gesturing to the restaurant. "—as you can see, I'm trapped here."
"Wow," said Gareth, turning on the charm. Heat bubbled in Eddie's stomach. "I've never met a fan before."
"You two are the guitarists, right?" you said, gesturing between Eddie and Gareth.
"Yep. I'm Gareth, this is Eddie. That's Jeff, our drummer, and Grant, our electric bassist."
You offered your hand to each of them. "I'm Y/N. Oh, you probably know my brother, Dustin?"
"Henderson?" Eddie squawked as he shook your hand. Your rings clacked together. "He never told me you were still here in Hawkins!"
You shrugged. "I'm usually not, I'm only here for the summers now. Going to college in New York makes it a little difficult to come back to visit when school's in session. But I hope he mentioned me, at least."
Eddie and Gareth exchanged a look. "Maybe a few times?" Eddie said.
Your eyes rolled to the sky. "I'm gonna kill that kid one of these days."
The band laughed. Eddie found himself grinning at you more than he should be. Now that he was paying attention, he could see your slight resemblance to Dustin. He couldn't believe he hadn't noticed it before.
You tapped the table with your knuckles. "Well, I've kept you waiting long enough. Let me go get those drinks for you. Have a look at the menu, see what you'd like for appetizers. I'll be back in a few." You winked at Eddie and he turned scarlet.
After you had gotten out of earshot, the whole table turned toward Eddie.
"Water, dude?" Jeff demanded. "Seriously, what the hell's wrong?"
"Oh, I know what's wrong." Gareth was grinning like a madman. He leaned forward. Eddie could feel the teasing before it started. "Somebody's in love, isn't he?"
Eddie coughed. Well, that was a bit further than he was expecting. "You know, I was expecting the sex jokes, but not that."
The other three leaned far enough to see past the booth seats, each staring—quite obviously—at you.
"I mean, she's got a nice ass, I'll give you that," Gareth said.
"Gareth!" Eddie chided. "That's Dustin's sister!"
"So? Take her home!" Jeff said.
"Yeah," teased Gareth, "work it out of your system with a girl instead of by yourself. I mean, she's practically a groupie! I'm sure she'd love to go home with you."
Groaning, Eddie hid his face in his hands. "Fuck no. I don't care how pretty she is—and she's really fucking pretty, I'll give you that—I am not sleeping with Dustin's sister. He'd murder me in a heartbeat!"
Grant frowned. "Sweet, harmless little Dustin? Nah. Of the two of them, I'd say Y/N's the most capable of murder."
The entire group peered over the booth seats toward you, watching you flip a pen in your hand like a knife.
"Yeah, probably," Eddie decided, sinking back into his seat. "Point is, I'm not going to piss off Dustin like that. I'll piss him off in DnD as much as I want, but not by fooling around with his sister."
"C'mon, man, the kid idolizes you," Gareth said, nudging Eddie's shoulder. "I bet he'd be perfectly fine with you dating his sister."
Eddie spluttered. "Who said anything about dating?! You just suggested sleeping with her! One night stand, that whole shitty way things go."
Jeff rolled his eyes. "Yeah, but we know you, Eddie. You're all or nothing. If you got that girl, you'd never let her go."
"Finally, you say something intelligent."
You cleared your throat as you arrived at the table, startling the boys out of their conversation before any of them could embarrass Eddie further by bringing up your name in the conversation. "Alright, drinks for you, boys!" You set them on the table amidst their many 'thank you's. Your eye lingered on Eddie. "Eddie?"
His head snapped up and swiveled to you so quickly you heard his neck crack. He winced, rubbing at it.
"You're the lead singer, right?" He nodded at your question. "Damn, you've got an awesome voice."
Eddie couldn't help his grin. "Uh...thanks. I, uh..." God, he knew he was going to get teased so badly for showing off, but... "I write our music, too. Most of it."
Your eyes went wide. "Holy shit. Good singer, good writer, fantastic guitar player—you got it all, love!"
There it was again, that word that made Eddie's heart stutter in his chest. And accompanied by compliments. He thought his heart was going to burst.
"Why, thank you," he said, trying to sound suave. He sounded shy instead.
Your gaze remained on Eddie as you asked, "Has anybody decided on some appetizers? Or are we headed straight for the entrees?"
Eddie met and held your gaze. He started to smile. You dampened your lips with your tongue before returning the smile. Eddie heard his blood thrumming in his ears, noticed the look his bandmates were sharing.
"Um...can we have a few more moments with the menu?" Jeff asked, hesitant to break the spell between the pair of you.
"Of course," you said, still eyeing Eddie and not bothering to hide it. "I'll come back in five." You lingered a moment more before turning and walking back toward the kitchen.
Eddie let out a slow, shaky breath. He sat back in his seat, closing his eyes. "Fuck, man."
"Dude," Grant laughed, "you've got it bad."
Eddie shoved a hand through his hair and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Yeah, yeah, I know."
"Alright, so here's what you gotta do," said Gareth, leaning into the same position he took up when strategizing while playing DnD. "When we're leaving, you gotta go up to her by your lonesome and ask her on a date, say you wanna talk to a real fan or something. Come up with something cute to say, something that'll make her melt, so you can say that when you ask her."
"No!"
"Why not?"
Eddie groaned. "Look, even if she wasn't Dustin's sister, she's so far out of my league it's not funny. The last time I liked a girl out of my league, I pined for four fucking years, people. I'm not doing that again."
"Okay, fine, she's out of your league," agreed Jeff, earning a nasty look from Eddie. "But she's checking you out. She's not even trying to hide it from us! She probably wants you to ask."
Eddie groaned. "Leave me alone and just look at the menu. I'll get up and leave if you make her walk back over here just to leave again because you haven't decided on an appetizer yet."

The boys had let the subject drop throughout dinner, despite the obvious looks being passed between you and Eddie. Eddie was looking at you like you were an angel, and Eddie knew he was, but he couldn't help himself. You were making solid eye contact with him and only him every time you came to the table. Despite himself, Eddie was starting to believe Jeff was right, that you were probably hoping he'd ask you on a date, or at least would get the chance to talk to him one on one.
But Eddie remembered pining over Chrissy Cunningham for four years. He remembered wanting to die of embarrassment every time she walked into the room after she and Jason got together because oh my God, Chrissy's dating Jason, how could Eddie ever think she'd be willing to date Eddie when Jason was clearly her type and was the farthest thing from Eddie ever and—
No. He would not let himself do that again. Once was enough.
"Eddie."
Eddie looked up from his plate. "Yeah?"
Grant nodded toward the kitchen. "She's staring at you. Has been. For about ten minutes."
Eddie's stomach gave an uncomfortable lurch. "Stop. Don't tell me. I don't want to know."
You came over five minutes later. "Anyone up for dessert?"
They waved it away. "This was plenty, thank you," Jeff said for them all.
"I'm glad you enjoyed. Would you like another round of drinks, or shall I fetch the check?"
Eddie glanced at the others. "We'll do another round."
You smiled at Eddie. "He speaks!"
He blushed. "Sorry. Everything's a little sore after singing for hours."
"Oh, I don't blame you," you sympathized. "I imagine that's what the extra drinks are for." You took there orders and went up to the bar. Eddie's gaze followed you as you worked, watching you handle the thin stems of wine and martini glasses.
"Trying to prolong your time in her company?" Grant joked. Eddie turned red, caught.
"No, my throat actually does hurt," he said, lying through his teeth.
"Suuuure," said Gareth, rolling his eyes.
"Shut up!"

With the table littered in empty glasses and the check paid, there was no other reason for the band to stay. Eddie knew they had outstayed their welcome based on the judgmental glares of the other patrons and he ushered his friends out of the booth. He wasn't the only one in the restaurant to notice they were all unsteady on their feet.
Slim, gentle fingers wrapped around his arm. He froze, turning to stare you in the face. "Keep on eye on them, alright?"
Eddie nodded slowly, staring into your eyes. They were ridiculously beautiful, like looking into a deep and clear pool when the sun shone just right on its surface.
You pressed a small paper, ripped from blank receipt paper, into his hand. "Come back soon."
Eddie was dumbfounded. Unable to find words, he just nodded and slowly stepped away from you. He only broke eye contact when he bumped into a table. He glanced back, but you were already back to work.
He followed his friends out the door and missed your parting glance his way, a tiny smile at home on your face.
~❊~
"What'd ssshhe give you, dude?" Gareth asked, speech slurred, as soon as they got in his van.
"Nothing. Just told me to keep an eye on all your drunk asses."
"'m not drunk. Just a bit tibsy. Tibsy. Tipsy," he corrected, taking three tries to get it right.
Eddie rolled his eyes. "Sure, man, whatever you say." He drove them home and apologized to their families for how drunk they were. All the while, the crumpled paper seemed to burn a hole in his pocket.
When it was just him and Gareth in the van, Gareth asked again, "What'd she give you?" He seemed a little more sober this time.
Eddie didn't lie this time. "Dunno. Just told me to come back soon."
Gareth smiled sleepily. "She probably gave you her schedule or something. Wants you to come back. Likes you as much as you like her."
Eddie bit his lip. It did seem possible. "She's Dustin's sister," he reminded Gareth and himself, but it was becoming an increasingly thin reason to not like her.
~❊~
Eddie waited until he was sitting in the front seat of his van, by himself, to look at the paper. He'd parked in front of his trailer and had been parked there for twenty minutes. He couldn't remember if it was today or tomorrow Uncle Wayne was coming home early, and he wanted to be sure he was alone when he looked at what you'd given him.
Slowly, he reached into his pocket. Took out the receipt paper. Unfolded it by touch. Looked at the words.
Couldn't read them. Turned on the light. Ah, there. That was better.
I work Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends, noon to close.
That was all you'd written, but it was enough. You'd given him your usual shifts.
"Holy fuck," Eddie whispered, then shouted, "YES!" and punched the air victoriously.
He was going to go back. He'd go back as soon as he could.
And Dustin was going to get an earful for not telling Eddie about his sister sooner.

After a show, Eddie had been snatched off the street, bitten, and drank from by a newborn vampire. It's unfortunate but it happens all the time only he didn't stay down. After what was surely a traumatic night he woke up on a cold bed, broke out, and found his way back home which was trippy since his steps were like being in a full sprint. The only thing is he couldn't come inside so he knocked until she came to the door.
Tumblr media
" I'm back baby! " he says to her once he sees her, grinning unaware of the long fangs on full display.

It wasn't even a secret...
Eddie munson x reader
Summary: you and Eddie are married even have a new born. But thr younger hellfire members don't know?
Dustin Henderson walks into the munson trailer and hears loud music coming from Eddie's room. He approaches the room and through the crack of the door and sees a manicured hand grabbing at Eddie's bedside table only to see Eddie's not ringed hand grab it and pull it out of sight.
That's all he saw, but he got the point and left the trailer and sat in Eddie's van, which he never locked until he saw the lady exit.
But what Dustin didn't see was your wedding ring on top of Eddie's on the bedside table.
-
Months later Dustin was washing his hands in the munson bathroom when he threw the paper towel in the trash he saw a pregnancy test. It was positive. Dustin didn't mention it to Eddie or anyone thinking it was probably private.
What Dustin didn't see was how Eddie hugged you when the test came back positive as you both cried happy tears and kissed sweetly.
-
Months later Dustin and Mike approach the hellfire table and notice Eddie's not there. Weird they thought he wanted to graduate this year why would he be having time off.
"Where's Eddie?" Dustin asked setting his tray down. Gareth looks at Dustin and frowns. "What do you mean where's Eddie you know he isn't gonna be in for A few weeks." Gareth says confused.
Only then do Gareth, Doug and Jeff realise they genuinely do not know. They wasn't gonna be the ones to tell him so that's how they ended up at Eddie munson trailer skipping school.
Eddie was fast asleep an arm draped over you. He awoke suddenly to banging on the door cursing under his breath. He stands up and stretched kissing your head and peaking into the bassinet next to your side of the bed, only to see his week old daughter starring up at him with her wide brown eyes.
"Hey little lady." HE says picking her up making sure to support her head. He cradles her and heads to the door to let you sleep a bit longer. He walks into the kitchen and puts the kettle on to warm a bottle for his daughter haley. Then he walks to the front door expecting Wayne or someone.
Only to be met with a stunned Dustin and Mike. "Hello?" Eddie says confused. He let's them in as they stare at him in shock. "Whats going on guys?" Eddie asked slightly freaked out hy the look on the twos face.
"You have a baby?!" Dustin half yells.
"Dude shut the fuck up." Eddie says annoyed bouncing his daughter slightly so she doesn't cry from Dustins outburst.
"No I won't you have a baby and you didn't tell us what the fuck." Dustin half yells again.
Eddie looks between the boys with a look of confusion on his face. You walk out of your bedroom into the living room after hearing all the shouting.
"What's going on?" You ask crossing your arms over your chest. Both the teens and Eddie look at you. Your stood confused. Haley then cries and everyone looks at her.
Eddie walks over to you sliding her into your arms and she immediately stops crying as you bounce her and cradle her making soft shh noises. "Whose that's?" Mike askes Eddie's attention turning from you and haley to the two teens but you speak up. "His wife." You answer looking at the two boys
"You have a baby and a wife. How didn't we know that." Dustin says eyes wide.
"OK everyone stop, fuck me. Right. I thought you two knew but clearly you don't. This is my wife y/n who I've definitely told you about. The one I've been dating since I was like 15 and am now married to?" Eddie says waving his arms infant of you as you smile.
"OH we thought that was a cruel joke." Mike says scratching his head. Eddie looks at the boys in disbelief.
"Wow OK. This is y/n and my daughter haley who I'm gonna go with you also thought was a joke." Eddie says questionably getting nods from the boys.
"Y/n this is Dustin and Mike." Eddie says pointing at the boys rubbing his eyes.
"Hi nice to meet you?" You say still confused.
The boys says hello awkwardly.
"OK, now that's cleared up. Is that really why you came here." Eddie asks, slightly annoyed. The boys nod and explain that Gareth wouldn't tell them. You're starring at Eddie, who's clearly stressed and tired. Then, down to the little baby in your arms.
Eddie warms a baby bottle while the two teens talk to Eddie about the baby as you sit on the couch in the living room. He walks in handing you the warm bottle. "Can you feed her?" You ask quietly. But Eddie hears you.
"Yeh, yeh of course sweetheart." Eddie says sitting on the couch. You pass her to Eddie once he's sat along with her bottle kissing Eddie's cheek then haleys head before walking to your bedroom to get stuff for A shower.
"SO you like have a child." Dustin says watching Eddie feed his daughter the bottle.
"Yes and a wife." Eddie answers.
"And you've been married..." Mike says
"2 years been together for 5." Eddie says, setting the bottle by his feet, leaning back on the couch and laying the baby on his chest, gently patting her back.
"And the others knew." Dustin says as Eddie nods.
"How long are you off school?" Mike askes.
"I'm just going back to do my finals. I won't be there any other time." Eddie says as the tiny baby burps. The two nod.
Moments later you walk back in, wearing a pyjama vest and Eddie's sweats. Your stomach has shrunk since the birth of haley and it makes Eddie smile seeing you comfortable enough to wear the vest as when she was first born you wouldn't take off his hoodie.
Not that it mattered to Eddie he loved you every shape and form and you grew his baby in you. When you mentioned your insecurity to Eddie just before haley was born he comforted you and said, "either way your sexy no matter what n you've got me. If.. that helps? Probably not but you get my gist."
You sat next to Eddie and he handed you haley. "Common ill take you two home no point in going back to school." Eddie says. He too the teens to Dustin house and then came straight home.
He entered thr trailer and headed to your bedroom to see haley asleep on your shared bed and you sat up looking at her giving Eddie a smile when he entered the room. Eddie strips of everything but his boxers.
"Now give me a twirl." You says smiling at him from the bed.
He turns slowly as you clap quietly before laying on his side next to you. "SO those are two of your friends?" You say raising your brows and Eddie nods putting an arm over your waist.
Eddie looks at you then to his daughter and smiles. Taking your hand and kissing it. You lean down and kiss him on the lips.
"I love you." HE says as your foreheads touch.
"I love you too."
"I love you more."
"I love you most." You smirk kissing him again.
Yeah Eddie was a happy man. He may still be in school but he's got everything he wants Sat right on his bed. His beautiful wife and tiny daughter.
-
Months later he graduated walking off the stage hugging you nice and tight laying a sweet kiss on your lips. Wayne holding 3 month old haley who's arm where flapping for Eddie. He took her from Wayne kissing her nose as she open mouthed his cheek.
The stunned look on Jason's face to see Eddie munson holding a baby in one arm with his hair and his other arm around your waist as your hand was behind haleys head. Eddie smirked to himself kissing your head. Wayne shooting him a proud smile and nod. The others soon came running over. "Finally man thought you was gonna end up going to school with haley." Gareth says smirking at Eddie.
"Shut up Gareth." You says earning a laugh out of Eddie.
"Y/n I'm wounded." Gareth says shocked.
"You heard the lady shut up." Eddie says smirking.
Gareth rolls his eyes.
Everyone stands and talks. Eddie saying haley needs feeding so you guys have to go. In reality you had fed her before and Eddie just wanted to go home.
"I am so proud of you." You say kissing his cheek.
"Yeah? Do I get a special treat for how proud you are." Eddie smirks.
"Maybe... you'll see when haleys in bed." You say smirking at him running a hand through haleys curls.
Yeah Eddie was right. 86 was definitely his year.

Shot In The Dark Part Two
Summary: When the popular good-grade student starts to talk to Eddie Munson, he thinks it’s too good to be true. They become quick friends, but when she asks him out, learns that it was too good to be true...
Part Two of Shot In The Dark
Y'all I'm so sorry this took me so long, but I hope it lives up to everyone's expectations!
Warnings: angsty but turns to fluff, SUGGESTIVE AT THE END, Eddie sucks on tiddies- but nothing too hardcore, making out.
Thank you to everyone who loved this series :) I'm beyond thankful!
I'm so sorry for any spelling mistakes-
Fem version, the male version coming soon.
Word count: 6k . . . . . .
Eddie refused to leave his room for the next two days. Deciding instead, to get high in his room and forget about everything that happened between you and him.
The whole ordeal just felt too painful, too fresh in his mind.
Being the town freak, he knew he had a reputation. He knew that he was always going to be treated differently. And for the most part, he was okay with that.
He was okay being the outcast, being the weirdo that no one wanted to get too close to. He didn't mind it, because he just wanted to be himself. He didn't want to conform to what society wanted him to be.
The only thing he wanted was to be who he was.
But that day, that day in the parking lot. That made him rethink his entire stance.
He hated the fact that some random girl could make him feel like this, that some person who he had rarley talked to before a few months ago, could make him feel this shity.
He hated how, for once, just for an instant, he thought maybe he had a chance to have that stupid high school romance.
Eddie Munson was never one to search out any romantic partners. It was futile. No one wanted to be seen with the town freak. And he was too busy anyway.
Or at least, that's what he told himself.
Truth be told, he was kind of lonely. As much as he loved his bandmates, his DND group, and even his uncle, he wanted something more. Something deeper.
And for a moment, he thought he found that, with you.
But he supposed he was just being an idiot. Why the hell would you ever want to be with him? When you where…you.
So, here he was, in his bed staring up at the ceiling. High out of his mind.
He groaned, swinging his arm over his eyes, wanting to block out the world from his own mind.
He heard a knock at his door, and he groaned as Wayne let himself in.
“You doing all right there, kiddo?”
Wayne had started to notice the difference in Eddie’s demeanor. When he came home that night after you had asked him out, he noticed how Eddie was quieter, and a sullen expression was written all over his face.
Wayne didn't ask any questions, though, which was something that Eddie loved about his uncle. They had a silent agreement that when things got too rough for the either one of them, the other one didn’t bring it up.
But Eddie could tell that he was worrying his uncle, and a part of him felt bad.
However, the other part of him just couldn't seem to care. Just about anything. He felt numb to anything else around him.
But Eddie sighed, “Yeah, just not feeling great right now.”
Wayne nodded, saying nothing.
“Well… let me know if you need anything, alright?”
Eddie just nodded, and listened to his uncles footsteps as he left.
He knew, sooner or later, he was going to have to come out of his shell, he knew sooner or later he was going to have to face you again. To watch your judgmental eyes bare into his, feeling his soul being crush under your weight. He just couldn’t bare it.
Your face, laughing at him along with your friends, made him want to sink down into his bed and do absolutely nothing for eternity.
. . .
When Wayne had finally decided that Eddie needed to go back to school, he knew he wasn’t ready.
The whole drive in his van, all he could think about was how pitiful he would probably look in front of everyone.
And then he realized, his friends would ask him what happened to him. Why he just fell of the face of the planet for a few days.
He bit his lip as he tried to think of an excuse.
“Just had a bad trip, Rick gave me some bad weed man, had to stay home.” Yeah, that sounded believable.
But little did he know, most of the school had already heard about what happened with him and you. Much to his dismay.
“Was it really true? You really turned down Y/N?”
Eddie grimaced at the mention of your name, “No, it was all a fucking joke, Gareth. She didn’t actually want to go out with me, it was some stupid dare.”
But Gareth wasn’t convinced, “Are you sure? Y/N’s really not the type to do something like that.”
Eddie grumbled something under his breath and Jeff whispered to Gareth, “Dude, drop it.”
Suddenly, one of his little sheep pipped up, “Uh, Eddie? Maybe this is stupid- but my sister knows Y/N. They have P.E together. And she said that Y/N hasn’t come to school for the last few days.” Mike Wheeler said.
Eddie raised an eyebrow, “Yeah, well, I cussed her out pretty good when I found out. She probably just didn’t want to show her face around here.” Eddie finished his sentence with a growl.
The boys took the hint and decided to change the subject.
But still, Eddie couldn’t get you out of his goddamn head.
As the boys spoke to one another, his mind was elsewhere. He hated how he had talked to you when he last saw you. A twinge of regret ignited in the pit of his stomach. Even if it was some stupid dare, he still knew that he still cared about you.
However, he looked back at all the events that lead up to the parking lot. It had him thinking, was it all a dare? Even you helping him study? Even you walking into his favorite record shop? Even you coming to see his band? Was that really all coincidence? Or was that, too, part of some soul crushing dare?
If so, he had applauded your commitment.
He just couldn't stop thinking about the way your eyes shone with genuine tears. As if you were actually hurt about him turning you down. But he tried his best to convince himself that those tears were merely due to the fact that he had screamed at you in front of the whole parking lot.
A part of him regretted it, he wished he would have talked to you in a more calm demeanor. But he didn't, and now he felt the guilt rising up to his throat.
Why the hell should he care this much? You were the one who had pulled a stupid prank on him, obviously he was going to be upset.
He had to remind himself of that fact every time he felt guilty, trying his best to just move on already-
He was grumbling to himself, picking off the salt on the pretzels he packed for his lunch, when two cheerleaders walked up behind him.
They both stared down at him, crossing their arms.
“You know,” the brunette one said, startling him, “what you did to Y/N was totally uncalled for.”
The other, a blonde, nodded, “Yeah, the name calling was just a dick move. You could have just said no and moved on.”
Eddie raised a brow, “First, she started it by asking me out as a fucking joke. Secondly, I could care less.”
The first cheerleader arched her brow, “Asked you out as a joke? What are you talking about? Y/N never makes fun of anyone, she’s way too nice, she’s not like that.”
But Eddie rolled his eyes, “Save it, ladies. I saw her friends laughing and pointing at me as she asked me out. And believe me, I’ve been asked out as a joke before, and that’s usually how it goes.”
The other one, the blonde, gaped at him, “Oh my god- you really thought she was joking. No! Oh my- Jesus christ.”
The two cheerleaders looked at each other before shaking their heads.
“You’re so stupid,” the first one said rolling her eyes.
“Seriously. Y/N would only ever talk about you. Since like, last year. When you guys had english together. She said you were so funny, making her laugh. And when she finally worked up the courage to ask you out, you went and yelled at her. You really need to take a hint.”
“Yeah,” the blonde one said, “she all but stalked you, really. She knew what days your band played at the hideout, and what your favorite song was. Hell, she even knew that your least favorite class was, which was O’Donelle’s.”
Eddie’s eye’s where blown wide in disbelief. He felt his heart beating wildly in his chest as he tried to concentrate on what these girls had just told him.
You, had really actually tried to ask him out? Not as a joke?
Oh my god, was he fucking stupid.
. . .
As soon as the next period started, he was already inside his van.
He really could give two shits about skipping, this was more important.
His palms were sweaty, and his breathing was so irregular he swore he thought he was going to faint.
He turned on his van quickly, hands shaking with the key in the ignition.
You, the girl of his fucking dreams, had genuinely been trying to ask him out? The girl he was so fucking enamored with he lost sleep over? The girl who he thought he wasn’t good enough for, had been actually trying to ask him out?
He felt like such an idiot.
The whole ride to your house, he felt his hands shake beneath the steering wheel. his eyes were glued to the road, but his mind wandered elsewhere.
What was he even supposed to say to you? What was he supposed to do?
He bit his lip, trying his best to keep his thoughts in.
When he pulled into your driveway, he breathed a sigh of relief seeing that no cars parked outside. Meaning, that hopefully, your parents weren’t home.
He turned off the engine, silently watching his hands shake on the wheel.
When he finally stepped out of the van, it was as if his body moved on it’s own, his legs carried him to your door.
He could feel the sweat accumulate on his hands, and his legs felt like pure jelly.
His throat felt so tight, and he suddenly realized he had no idea what he was going to say to you.
Was he supposed to apologize? Supposed to beg for forgiveness and admit his feelings for you too?
He scoffed at himself. Yeah, like that would work.
He couldn't even be upset if you were mad at him, he would be mad at himself too.
He felt a strong punch to his gut as he remembered the horrible things he said to you. Remembering your face, you're beautiful, ethereal face. he remembered your eyes, scrunching up in pain as he said those terrible things about you.
He wanted to run away, at that exact moment he wanted to run. He hated how he treated you, and how he basically ruin something that could have been so magical.
He swore under his breath.
“’Should just go,” he said, “Y/N  probably doesn't want to see me anyways. It's just better if I-”
But he stopped in his tracks, watching as the door flung open.
And there you stood, hair disheveled, no makeup on your face, your eyes look puffy and red, and you were dressed in an oversized shirt and shorts.
Your face was shaped in annoyance, with a hint of anger.
“Are you just planning to stand outside my house all day, Munson? Waiting to yell at me again?”
He winced at the anger in your voice, although it was well deserved, it still made him feel like shit.
“N-no! I…I came here to…say I’m sorry…”
You stayed silent, watching his face.
And all of asuden, it all spilled out.
“I said some really… shitty things. None of which I meant, I really shouldn't have said all that. You didn't deserve it, really, you're sweet and kind, and considerate of other people. You've always been nice to me, and I mean, people aren't nice to me. I shouldn’t have said that to you, I just thought… I thought it was all a joke, seeing your friends, and seeing them laugh at me. It's just… I never thought that someone like you could actually like me… because… because I really like you. and I know I fucked up my chances, and I know I ruined everything. And I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry I'm a fucked up dick, you don't deserve that. I just… I just hope you're okay. Don't let a dick like me are you down, Y/N. I was just a stupid jerk, and I'm really sorry. I don’t-I don’t want you to forgive me, because I understand why you’d be so upset, you have every right to be. I just wanna do something, to make up for it, y’know? Anything, Y/N, I just want you to know I’m sorry.”
He fidgeted nervously with his rings, feeling his stomach twist up in nerves.
You stared at him, your eyes sharp and poised.
“Do you mean it?” Your voice was shaky.
“About being sorry? Of course, Y/N, I’m so sor-”
But you cut him off, “No…no about-about liking me.”
He sucked in a heavy breath, biting down on his lip before responding. “Y-yeah….yeah, I really like you, Y/N.”
You stayed silent for a minute.
“I’m sorry Eddie…I don’t-I don’t know what to think. I…I really like you, a lot. But what you said, it really hurt-”
Eddie interrupted you, “I know! I…I know,” he stared into your eyes, gulping down the lump in his throat.
“I know. And I’ll do anything, anything to show how sorry I am. Really, Y/N, please tell me what I can do.”
You bit your lip, “I…I don’t know. Eddie, I think you should leave.”
At your words, Eddie could have sworn his heart broke, his stomach dropped at your words. He could even feel tears well up in his eyes, but he blinked them away.
He wanted badly to get on his knees, beg you to let him do something, anything, to make it up to you. The thought that he made you feel this way, made him feel so shitty he was going partly insane.
But, he wanted to give you what you asked.
“Yeah…yeah, I understand…just- if you need me, I’ll be here.”
You nodded, and he could see a small tear drip down your cheek.
“Goodbye, Eddie.”
. . .
Three days past since he went to your house. And it hasn’t been easy on him.
Every day, he racked his brain for any ideas about how he could make it up to you. To show you how he was, truly sorry.
But no matter what, he couldn’t think of anything.
He had been continuously sullen for the last few days, and his club mates had begun to notice.
“Eddie?” Gareth asked, “You ok man?”
Eddie nodded, munching quietly on his pretzels.
Dustin shook his head, “He’s still upset about the whole Y/N thing. And the fact that Y/N just came back yesterday.”
“Yeah,” Mike said, “he’s having relationship problems.”
Eddie flung one of his pretzels at Mike, causing him to shut up.
“One more word, Wheeler, and you’ll regret the day you were born.”
It was an empty threat, and the boys knew it. But the depression in Eddie’s voice still made them uneasy.
“Did you try apologizing?” Jeff asked.
Eddie barked out a dry laugh, “Of course I did!”
He sighed, “But Y/N just turned me away, saying that I need to give ‘em space. Which yeah, I understand, but…I don’t know, I just wanna show how sorry I am.”
Gareth shook his head, “Na man, you gotta give Y/N space, it’s only fair.”
Eddie let out an exasperated sigh, “No shit, Gareth. But how do I then prove that I’m really sorry?”
The table fell silent.
“Well…” Dustin said, “maybe a romantic gesture? To show how sorry you are? I mean like, maybe you ask her out just like she did, but make it really romantic like.”
Eddie stared at the boy, mulling over his words.
Untill, suddenly, and Idea hit him. He smiled at the boy, “Henderson, you’re my new favorite freshman.”
. . .
Eddie had very low patience, so waiting for you was killing him.
But still, he knew he owed you this much.
He waited a few more days, but his heart still pulled when ever he saw you drifting down the hallways.
His stomach would drop as soon as he saw your face, however. Your sunken eyes and tired expression just making him feel worse.
But, he had a plan now.
He knew you stayed late at school fridays, usually studying or finishing up homework.
He decided to wait for you, outside the library. His hands twitching with anticipation.
When you finally came out, you nearly fell back when you saw Eddie’s face.
“Wow!” Eddie said, surging forward to grab you. “Jesus Christ, Y/N, I didn’t mean to give you a heart attack,” Eddie said, chuckling to himself.
But you just gave him a pout, “What are you doing here, Munson?”
He couldn’t help but let out a small wince at the use of his last name. Your tone sharp, stabbing him through his heart.
Nevertheless, he stood his ground, “I’m here to show you that I’m seriously sorry.”
You rolled your eyes, “Ok. And how are you going to do that? Wait for me like some pervy stalker?”
You crossed your arms over your chest, and he couldn’t help but think about how cute you where when you got mad.
He had to stifle a laugh as you furrowed your brows in an attempt at a scowl. An adorable pout on your face.
But he composed himself, “No, just…just let me take you out.”
You raised an eyebrow at him, “Didn’t I tell you to leave me alone?”
He nodded, “You did. And I waited. But…but I really do want to show you how sorry I am.”
At his confession, your eyes softened. You bit you lip, hesitant, “If I say yes, to you taking me out, then what?”
Eddie chuckled, “Then I take you out on a date, sweetheart.”
To his delight, your cute pout made a return.
He laughed, “I’ll take you on an amazing date, to make up for what I did. I really do want to make it up to you, Y/N. And if you say yes, than I promise to make it worth your while.”
You looked into his eye’s, heart beating out of your chest, “Alright, Munson…I’ll hold you to that.”
. . .
When Eddie had said he was taking you to Lover’s Lake, you rolled your eyes.
“The makeout spot, Munson? Really? Sorry to burst your bubble, but I’m not someone who’s particularly interested in fooling around on the first date.”
He laughed at that, “No no, we’re not doing anything like that, sweetheart. At least not yet anyway.”
You pinched his leg.
“Ouch! Hey I’m driving here!”
You giggled, but your eye’s became hard, “I still…haven’t really forgiven you yet. What you did… that really hurt.”
Eddie bit the inside of his cheek to keep from whimpering, “I know, really I do. Believe me, you have every right to be upset. But Y/N, I want you to know that I really do like you. Like a lot. It’s kind of embarrassing actually.”
He laughed awkwardly as you stared at him.
“When did you realize you liked me?”
You asked the question so seriously, it took him aback.
“U-uh, well. I think…when you were walking down the hallway, it was a few weeks after we talked at the library, and after we saw each other at the record shop. You were laughing at something one of the cheerleaders had said. And your face, it was just so pretty. Your laugh too, god I felt my knees buckle. And…and then I got mad. Well, I got jealous. Jealous because I wasn’t the one making you laugh. Jealous it wasn’t me you were walking with in the hall. And then I realized…I was so into you it made me go partly insane.”
The awkward silence almost killed him, he anxiously tapped his fingers against the steering wheel.
But before he could say anything else, you spoke.
“Last year, we had Mrs. Clicks english class together. You would always come in late, even though it was the last period of the day. But still, you’d walk in like you owned the place, a goofy smile on your face. And…and I felt like I had to hate you. Like I had to conform to what my friends told me about you. But then I noticed how…genuine you where. You did what you wanted, you were yourself. You didn’t live up to anyone expectations because you made your own expectations.”
You took in a long breath, “Then one day, when Heather, the cheer captain, told me…some nasty things. I came into Mrs. Clicks class with tear stains running down my cheeks. No one asked if I was ok, no one cared. But, when you walked in, you saw me. And after class you asked if I was ok. And then…you gave me this,” and you pulled something out of your pocket.
His handkerchief.
His eyes went wide. Oh god, he didn’t even remember that till you brought it up.
You smiled, “You don’t even really remember that, do you?”
He laughed, “No…not really. Sorry, I just thought I was helping out some poor girl.”
You smiled, “I know, that’s why I liked you, because you where just so natural. So naturally sweet, funny, charismatic. You where just naturally you.”
His hand gripped the steering wheel tightly. He tired his absolute hardest to not show how much your words had just flustered him.
“I heard…I heard about the things that Heather said to you. So when I saw how upset you where, I don’t know, it struck a cord with me,” he thought back to that day, remembering it suddenly.
“You…you thanked me for the handkerchief because tears were running down your face and Mrs. Click didn’t have any tissues. So I gave it to you.”
You smiled, “You told me, ‘You can keep it, it sucks seeing someone cry over someone’s stupid opinion.’”
“Yeah, well…society’s shit so might as well just be yourself right?”
You giggled, “Right.”
“Every since then I’ve kept it. It’s actually kinda embarrassing. But that’s when I knew I liked you. I was too nervous to do anything about it, though. You where just so cool, and of course I was so stupid that I didn’t even say anything to you till a year later.”
You giggled, your eyes fluttering over to his.
God, what were you doing to him?
. . .
When you finally got to Lovers Lake, Eddie was almost busiling with nerves.
“So, Munson, what exactly are we doing here?”
Eddie gulped down the lump in his throat, “I-um- I had…I had dinner planned for us.”
You raised an eyebrow, “What? Are we gathering berries and nuts?”
He dug the heel of his boot into the dirt below him, “No…I have takeout. It’s from Enzo’s though, real fancy.”
Your eye’s widened, your mouth gaping at him, “Eddie! That place is expensive! Even for takeout!”
Eddie nodded, “Yeah well, I told you I’d make it up to you.”
You shook your head, “You’re making it to hard to be mad at you.”
He smiled triumphantly, “Isn’t that the whole point, sweetness? To make you forgive me?”
You rolled your eye’s, but he didn’t miss your playful smile.
The night became one filled with laughter, even after finishing dinner, you two still talked till late into the night. First, you two had dinner, which then spun into you two talking for hours.
You laughed at Eddie, “You’re telling me, that you where the one who left those mock love letters in Mr. Hansons desk? Oh my god you’re a maniac.”
But Eddie just shrugged, “It was real easy too, I think he even thought it was Ms. Kelly sending him those. Oh my god, the look on his face when he realized it was a student, priceless!”
You both laughed, and you felt you cheeks start to hurt from all the smiling you where doing.
At first, you had tried to play hard, not giving him the satisfaction of forgiving him just yet. But, Eddie had so much natural charisma, and was so naturally funny, it made it hard to stay so mad at him.
Not to mention, he was so nice to look at-
“What can I say? I have a way with words I suppose,” Eddie said, shrugging.
You giggled, “Your confidence amazes me, Munson.”
He smiled at you, “Well, I try.”
You smiled back at him. The whole night had been so amazing.
Then, Eddie had shown you the stars, and interestingly, he knew a lot of the constellation and told you all about each one he knew.
You both laid on your backs, on top of the grass, as you peered up into the night sky. You could hear Shot In The Dark by Ozzy Osbourne playing quietly in his van.
“And then that’s the big dipper, that one is the little dipper. And I think…yeah that’s Orion's belt. See, those three there make a belt kinda shape.”
You stared into his eye’s, making him laugh, “Sweetness, you’re gonna miss the stars if you keep looking at me.”
You bit your lip, “I can see the stars just fine. Your eyes reflect them. And I think you’re more interesting to stare at then the stars.”
He felt his face become hot, your words taking him off guard.
“O-oh. Thank’s…”
Thanks?! Come on he had to say something more than that!
“But, I think you’re much more interesting, sweetness.”
His eyes looked back into your, as you broke into a soft smile, your eye’s shining in the moonlight.
Oh god, he felt like he couldn’t breath.
“Thank you, Eddie. For everything. I really appreciate it. No one… no one’s even done something like this for me. Thank you.”
Eddie’s mouth fell open, trying desperately to find something to say.
“I…well, I really wanted to make up for how I acted, sweetheart. You didn’t deserve that. And- and you don’t need to thank me, I wanted to take you out here. I’ve been thinking about it for a while, actually.”
You raised an eyebrow, “What do you mean, for a while?”
He saw a small smirk form on your lips, and he began nervously playing with the rings on his fingers.
“Well…I mean, ever since I realized I liked you, I’ve been thinking about where I would take you on our first date. At first, I thought maybe a picnic, but then I thought that’d be way to messy, plus I have no Idea how to cook.”
You laughed, scooting closer to him.
“And then I thought, maybe Enzo’s. But then I realized I have very little money and very very little nice clothing for somewhere like Enzo’s.”
Eddie’s face was a few inches from yours now, “And then, at lunch a few days ago, one of the freshman I know said that I should do something romantic for you, something to show you how I was, truly sorry. And then I thought, ‘what’s more romantic than dinner under the stars?’ So…yeah, here we are.”
You smiled, your head leaning in closer. So close, in fact, he could feel your breath against his face.
“Eddie…that means so much, I’m glad,” you said, smiling.
For a moment, you both lay there, still. Eddie perring into your eyes.
He saw, quickly, how your eyes flitted down onto his lips, until going back to his eyes.
“Eddie…” you said, slowly.
Before you could say anything else, he spoke quickly, “Can I kiss you?”
You smiled shyly. And nodded.
And his lips where on yours.
You tasted…perfect. So soft, so amazing.
Eddie almost creamed his pants when you moaned into his mouth, a shaky hand coming up to grasp his hair.
His hands came up to cradle your face, as if it was the most delicate thing in the world.
He groaned into your mouth as he felt you tug softly against his hair, the kiss slowly becoming messier and messier.
He had to push you away so he wouldn’t do anything to valgur.
You where out of breath, your lips swollen. You had never looked prettier.
“I forgive you…by the way.”
He smiled, a goofy, happy smile, “I’m glad, sweetheart.”
You smiled, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear.
You two stayed like that, still and in the moment. Staring into eachothers eyes, and smiling like idiots.
“Can I…do that again? You’re a nice kisser.”
Eddie could all but laugh, “Sweetheart, you don’t even need to ask.”
Your lips collided with his, but this kiss was much different than the first. Much more heated, more passionate.
And Eddie felt the blood rush straight to his dick when he felt you minover your way onto his lap.
His hands fell to your hips, fingers only touching you lightly, afraid he might scare you off.
But the moans you let out, oh god. His head felt fuzzy.
When you broke away, he was sure that would be the end of it. But he felt your lips trail down his neck, sucking lightly against his throat.
“Eddie?” You voice was quite as you spoke, “Is this alright?”
Eddie had stopped working, his mind blank as your hips grinded against his.
“Oh god-sweetness it’s more than alright,” he moaned loudly as you nipped his pulse point. “B-but Y/N you might have to get off soon. Don’t know how- how long I can hold off.”
“Hold off on what, Eds?”
Your voice was playful, down right seductive.
He never would have imagined, you being this forward-
His hands grasped your shirt, playing with the hem of it.
“Why don’t I take you out to dinner first, Y/N? Than after, we can have all the fun we want,” he said, winking.
You moved away from his neck, arching a brow, “Didn’t you already take me out to dinner? I mean, I consider this a dinner, don’t you?”
You batted your lashes sweetly, a small pout forming at your lips.
And he couldn’t stop himself from using his teeth to bite down gently on it. Earning a surprise yelp from you, which quickly turned into a moan.
He couldn’t help it, you just looked so…delicious.
“Sweetness, weren’t you the one who said you didn’t fool around on the first date?”
You giggled, “I don’t. But that’s mostly because I don’t go out with many guys.”
He raised an eyebrow, “I find that very hard to believe.”
“It’s true! Well…it’s mostly because I’ve like this one guy for like, a whole year now. So I just had to keep turning down other guys. Took me a whole year to ask him out.”
Eddie chuckled, “Yeah? He must be a lucky guy, than.”
You smiled, “I think I’m the lucky one.”
He smiled up at you, the moonlight beaming off your skin.
“Y/N…I need to know. Do you want to stop right now? Because I don’t want to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.”
You looked away from him, you squirming in his lap, “I mean…I don’t wanna go all the way- especially because this is, like, our first date. Just…just wanna…”
You looked everywhere but his eyes, and Eddie raised a brow at your shyness.
“What, is someone getting soft on me now? You’re adorable.”
His hands slowly inched their way to your thighs, and he kneaded them softly. Earning him a small whimper from you.
“I just…wanna do something nice.”
His lips where back on yours without another word. Nipping against your bottom lip, sucking against it.
You hands cradled his face so delicately, and Eddie could swear he felt himself melt.
His hands still held onto your thighs, but slowly moved up. Making sure to stop at your upper thighs, not wanted to go any farther than what you wanted.
You moaned into the kiss as Eddie slipped in his tongue. His hands squeezing your flesh as he found his jeans straining.
You must have felt it, too, because he felt your hips buckle down against him.
His eye’s rolled back as he felt you desperately wriggle against him, looking for any friction you could.
He moved from your mouth, making you wine as he did so. Until his mouth connected with your neck, kissing and sucking on it gently, leaving a few marks.
God, the idea of marking you up- if his pants weren’t straining before, they definitely where now.
“Eddie!”
The high-pitched moan you let out made him go down further, till his mouth found the buttons of your blouse.
He growled, a somewhat primal urge struck him as he ripped off the top button with his teeth.
“God, Eddie! Holy shit…”
His eye’s went back up to yours, “Sorry sweetness. This alright? We can stop now if you want.”
He was so lost in thought, he forgot that he had wanted to be gentle with you. This was only the first date.
But you nodded veimitly, “Please, Eddie. Want…want to feel you.”
He couldn’t help but groan at your words, he looked back into your eye’s, searching carefully to make sure this was ok.
You gave him a small nod, bitting down on your lip.
He smiled, looking up at you as he used his teeth to rip off the other buttons. Till your lacey bra was exposed.
He swore he was drooling at the sight, your breasts poking out.
“God, Y/N. shit,” he swore under his breath, his face inches away from your bra.
“Eddie,” you bit your lip, “I- you can rip that off to, if you want.”
His brain short-circuited as you said that, his eyes barring yours.
He felt a surge of confidence wash over him, “Yeah? You like when I do that, sweetheart?”
He saw your eyes dart away from his, but you nodded shyly.
He grinned at you cockily, staring at you as his teeth ripped off your bra. Watching you squirm as he spat it out, not looking at where it fell.
“Eddie…” your hips rocked against his, begging slightly.
He just smirked, but his confidence wavered as his eyes landed on your tits.
He felt his breath hitch, and his palms began to sweat.
“Oh god,” he whimpered out slowly.
He looked back at you, eye’s looking for permission, before you nodded, smiling down at him.
At that, his mouth began a trail of kisses down your right breast, his tongue swirling against your nipple.
His left hand moved from your thigh to your left breast, kneading the soft flesh delicately.
He swore, the high moan you let out made him see starts. And your hips grinding down on his, made him feel so goddamn lightheaded.
He switched over, his lips leaving a trail of kisses as he gave the same attention to your left breast.
You two stayed like that, till your chest was all marked up and littered with love bites.
“Sweetness…as much as I would love to continue this, we should really get you home…” he said, a glint of disappointment in his voice.
You pouted, “But-”
“No but’s, Y/N, it’s almost morning, I gotta get you home.”
“But… I didn’t do anything for you.”
He smiled, “Then, for our next date, you’ll just have to owe me.”
You grinned, “Next date? You’re cute, Munson. What time? I was thinking…today, six-thirty? You pick me up?”
You fluttered your lashes, and he laughed, “Y/N,” he said, buttoning back up your blouse, “You have no idea what you do to me.”
. . . . . .
Hi! I really hoped you all enjoyed! Thank you all again!
