Dye-ing Inside & Out AU

Completely out-of-ideas tattoo artist Character A scans the internet for any type of inspiration for designs they can find. They already specialize in darker, more metal ink with pretty badass imagery, but they’ve found that that type of style isn’t really in these days. Besides, no one who looks at a picture of Character A would ever expect the large, almost grotesque imagery to come out of Character A’s gun (they were basically a tiny little golden retriever, for pete’s sake).

In an attempt to find something more in line with both their customers’ expectations and what’s trending, Character A gets in contact with someone online who calls themselves an “Ecodyer,” or basically, someone who uses the natural dyes in organic substances to imprint their likeness onto clothing.

Character A happily agrees to come meet Character B at their workshop, but they’re stunned to not find a cute little cottagecore-esque individual but instead a burly biker holding a basket of ferns and irises, waving enthusiastically.
