this silly little group. this dastardly trio of triumphant neighsayers.

meet; trixie and her partners <3

to most people’s surprise, trixie and maud got together first. and were a singular couple for a really long time, but starlight came along with some baggage attached to her. and they accepted her into the group very quickly.

they all love each other, though maud would be lying if they said they didn’t accept starlight into their coupling due to the fact she was trixie’s best friend. they do truly love trixie, and appreciate starlight. but they just can’t help but adore the way starlight makes their little lulamoon smile ,,,

starlight on the other hand is a bit of a wild card, who put herself into the duo’s life by showing up on their doorstep in tears. and after some weeks, put herself into their good graces and was accepted in with some charm and dedicated words. it’s not like starlight doesn’t want companionship- but she’d prefer if her life didn’t feel required to have it. so she happily accommodates trixie, and appeals to her happiness and wishes. and talks to maud as a friend. but other than that, she wants to rebuild herself. she’s done with her past, and is ready to remake her own life.

meanwhile, the great and powerful trixie is just floating on air, as they receive all the love and attention in the world from the ponies who matter most to them smother them in love~ they really are just happy, and are excited to have such a wonderful life. the great and powerful trixie does deserve only perfection after all! although, they would be lying if one asked if a part of trixie was worried that starlight might do something dangerous- but no matter! the great and powerful trixie is here to love and enjoy life as is !

Belisarius was a general in the Eastern Roman Empire who reconquered North Africa from the Vandals, and Italy from the Ostrogoths. In the latter campaign, his army managed to return the eternal city of Rome back to the Empire. He is often considered as a great commander of the Eastern Roman Empire, as well as the last great Roman general.

Something that's always interested and bothered me is how many people I've met who have actively complained about how useless Earth Ponies are, claiming that they're the low end and that all they have is 'strength', and that if they were an Earth Pony in equestria they'd be so mad. Well, yes, they do have strength but like each race has it's purpose and each race is very important, including Earth Ponies. And Earth Ponies aren't boring or enable of talent just because of being resident of the grounds... And you don't have to have wings and horns to be an interesting of enticing pony. Sure there are tons of vantage points that Unicorns have, such as the ability to learn master and grow their magical talent, and an Earth Pony would struggle to get to high areas or get across large cliffs due to their inability to simply soar across, but there are plenty of other options that (Imo) make Earth Ponies extremely awesome.

From Foals I think Earth-Ponies are forced to learn how to work twice as hard to be at a basis to live amongst other races in equestrian society (As we may see a lot with AJ as at the start of the show especially she is a workaholic) and theres even an entire episode centered around her farm work being rivalled by two unicorn brothers, Flim and Flam

It's very apparent that there are vantage points for other races in pony society but that never stops Earth Ponies from striving to be the best they can be and help equestria grow. They take on the crops, the food industry, they take on school systems, hell, they even take on Spy jobs (I'm looking at you BonBon...)

Earth Ponies play a HEAVY role in a large scale of places and I feel as though we should be giving them much more credit as a fandom? The mayor of Ponyville is an Earth Pony, two of the mane six are Earth Ponies, the teacher who teaches all of the foals in Ponyville is an Earth Pony, and this goes outside of simply Ponyville standard as well.

A good portion of the society of ponies in the Crystal Empire are predominantly Earth. (Take s3 e1 for example, almost if not ALL of the native Crystal Citizens shown are Earth Pony.) Also the crystal ponies power the heart so Earth Ponies can do something magical after all /hj Because the Crystal Ponies lift their spirits at the Crystal Fair, and it powers the heart. The Crystal ponies, those EARTH PONIES, do that. Not Cadence. Not Shining Armor. The crystal ponies are responsible for lifting their own spirits at their annual fairs, and it powers their heart. They may feel like they're not doing the work, but that is definitely them doing that.

its alot more convenient than how they usually wear em. i always wonder how other pony races deal with things like that.

#unicorns can wear their wedding rings on their horns and i was ALWAYS questioning how thatd work for everybody else #i think it was kinda common for ppl to interpret partners of pegasi to wear one of their feathers which i adopted too but earth poniessss #they have no extra extremities so do they also use rings like unicorns but on a necklace cause clipping it to their ears/noses could just b #mistaken for a piercing so i dont think thatd work. necklace seems to make the most sense but thats so boring and doesnt feel special to #earth ponies #anyways i feel like non horn having ponies have to wear weighted glasses on a chain #and SPEAKING of glasses i never finished g4 completely but one day i woke up and there was a new horse w glasses he doesnt wear em on a #chain or anything but i guess thats less of a worry when you have magic that can keep em from falling (sunburst is who im talkin abt) #asks #anon

as per disclaimer, my only keepers of these guys are rosè and arcadian wild. and the other two will be up for adoption in the next day or two or sooner!

rosè gold [she/they|nonbinary bisexual|oldest]

a fashion icon from a young age, rosè is the entrepreneur within her own home. while she retained her mother’s spunk, and father’s ambition- she didn’t seem to have that overly signature overly-excitable trait that one would assume she’d have. instead, became this quiet, calm, cunning pony. with a pension for trouble wherever she went, though one can attribute that to her parents always being so indulgent in her sparkling ideas. she dreams of being a fashion icon one day, and works closely along side her best friend, millennium. and with some elbow grease , she’ll find herself right on that fashion stage one day!

arcadian wild [he/him|pansexual|youngest]

the mellow arcadian , despite the wild part, he is a very relaxed guy. he took up his mother’s laid back attitude and seemed to take it to eleven, as he can often be found playing his ukulele out by the shore or propped against a pine tree. he’s a bit of an airhead, but he’s got a heart of gold that shines brightest when he’s embracing what nature’s got to offer. oftentimes, ponies will find the stallion in one city after seeing him in another, due to his habit of wandering quite far afield during his walks. that quickly turn into hikes after some idle thinking.

wild and a little bit reckless, this little guy is the peppy, little brother, who just keeps managing to get himself into every kind of trouble. he’s a little short sighted, but means well as he doves headfirst into every sort of problem with a determination that just doesn’t quit! he loves everyone around him with a passion, and will prove it in any way he can! even if he’s not the brightest, he will always find a way to work things out. no matter if he’s a little confused, and not entirely sure what the issue is- hammy is here to help!

cherry marzipan [she/her|lesbian|youngest]

stressed? who’s stressed!? not cherry! cherry is completely fine. all of the time. always. she is always in control, and in perfect harmony with herself. she is fine. even though the sugarcube corner is starting to get overly stocked with orders, and the cupcake recipe she promised to have ready isn’t, in fact, ready at all! she is not stressed at all! cherry takes a lot on her plate, and especially the reputation of being her mother’s daughter. and that has a tendency to stress her out a bit, with wanting to do her best. and make sure her mom’s standing is still good,,, she will not ruin it, ever. because she is also going to be an element of laughter one day, and no way, no how, is she going to let any of that go to waste! even if she’s so busy. she is going to do well! after a nice long power nap-
