In 2021, Jac Schaeffer, creator of the Marvel streaming series “WandaVision,” told Total Film magazine that the show — in which magical heroine Wanda Maximoff, a.k.a. the Scarlet Witch, accidentally traps an entire town in her grief-fuelled fantasy after a mental breakdown — would not be a sexist portrayal of a powerful woman.

“It was extremely important to me that we not do the lazy thing of having a superpowered lady who can’t handle her powers and goes crazy,” she said.

ok so this is like the smallest most nitpicky thing about the mcu that i could possibly say especially because i havent even read the marvel comics but. it annoys me a little bit how they call the mcu universe “616” in dr strange 2 because like ….. no? the main comic universe is 616 like u couldve picked 615 or 617 and we wouldve still gotten the reference. if the multiverse exists than the comics could feasibly be another universe. but they cant BOTH be 616.

and ALSO you made this reference already in ffh. ur telling me mysterio just randomly guessed right? like he made up being from a different universe but correctly guessed what number the mcu universe is. no

as i said. this literally doesnt matter at all but when i heard that i was like 🤨🤨🤨
