Redrawing of old art

A lot of time has passed since my very first art with Azura. I can't help but notice that the atmosphere created by this art is simply magnificent. It significantly exceeds what was achieved in 2020. My initial drawing was created spontaneously and awkwardly. However, it's time to update it and breathe new life into it. Visually, he looks quite attractive, especially the hair and shadows, which are of particular interest. To be honest, I myself did not expect to achieve such a result. In the new work I improved almost all aspects: dynamics, composition, light and color.

It's also worth noting that I not only improved the atmosphere and appearance of Azura art, but also made changes to her clothing style. I'm constantly experimenting with different designs, trying to find the perfect combination. This is a fairly labor-intensive process that requires attention to detail and creativity. I explore different options and variations to choose the one that suits me best. I'm still working on creating an outfit that will not only highlight Azura's uniqueness, but also fit harmoniously into the overall concept.

Small doodles of Dromura with their Kids <3

I imagine Draal as such dad type as before he had children "the woman who can command me hasn't been born yet" and 150 years later he is sitting on small toy pink chair with funny stickers on his horns (to feel more Bonita obviously) and drinking wonderful tea that was made by one of his six daughters. Also I'm crying over silly little scene where Pot (the eldest daughter) starts to learn healing magic by using glyphs and at the first time tries her best to heal Draal's stump of hand

Nomura was not sure that she would become a good mother, but the help of her husband and her willpower were able to help her (and she is also too stubborn to give up). The fact that it was easy for her to raise children surprised her greatly. Unlike her brothers and sisters in the Darklands, troll children are truly different creatures that are much easier to deal with. Also Dramur is always full of love to his mother and you can see it❤️

Who Strickler will have to deal with!

Lady Micté as Teca Institute's Principal and Catrina, otherwise known as La Muerte, as the Principal of San Angel High School!

Unaware the principal of Arcadia Oaks High School is a Changeling stuck in his troll form, both arrive there disguised as humans but not like other times, when they hid all traces of their original appearance. This time, they picked looks according to themselves, their relationship as sisters and as principals.

Obviously, Strickler will have the best day of his life. He is in front of two important figures of Mexican history: The glorious Catrina from Jose Posada, the immaculate satyric image of the spanish folk on Mexico. And Micte, Goddess of Death and Queen of the Underworld. He'll fanboy for hours once he's back at home with Barbara, that's for sure.

The sisters travel to Arcadia to dropoff and pick up students everytime the exchange takes place. They're there mostly to settle things and see eye to eye.

Both still retain their divine powers, so when they finally meet Strickler, after some confusion, both change to their original forms.

Okay, new question for the OUAT Dreamworks crossover.

Would Tales Of Arcadia make an appearance in it at all? Trolls would be interesting to see, and everyone's already familiar with magic there. Like... Transformation magic, Shadow Magic, regular Merlin Magic, or just Trolls and the Trollhunters

Or even Aliens who disguise as humans?

I mean, we have different aliens already. Why not add a couple more that actually know how to blend in?

Sadly I’ve never seen that trilogy. (Which further sucks for me because the cat in the Wizard show is voiced by one of my favorite actors and the lead character is voiced by someone who WAS in Once Upon a Time).

I don’t know how I’d fit that into the timeline. In fact I’m not sure how I’d fit the other shows into the au (so for example no She-Ra characters would appear in the au). Unless it was like an aau.

ok so quick summary of what tales of arcadia is for everyone at home graciously provided by wikipedia. a lot of the current timeline of the au is gonna focus on trollhunters so our main protagonist can have some development even though I thought of some scenarios outside of the current timeline whoops

Tales of Arcadia is a trilogy of animated science fantasy television series created for Netflix by Guillermo del Toro and produced by DreamWorks Animation and Double Dare You. The series comprising the trilogy follows the inhabitants of the small suburban town of Arcadia Oaks, which is secretly home to various supernatural creatures and the young heroes who fight against the forces of evil that lurk in the shadows. The three installments of the trilogy, Trollhunters, 3Below and Wizards, have been released worldwide.

so basically this au is filled with magical creatures (trolls), aliens (akiridions), and wizards which is so yogs based!!! there are also beings called changelings who can switch between human and troll.

I imagine a lot of the old gen yogs as non-human and older, while the new gen are mainly human and as teens/young adults like kirsty who is human, however there are a few exceptions like briony who is a troll. technically briony isn't a teen because trolls live for a very long time though she is younger than some of the other trolls. I plan on adding more new gen yogs but need to figure out what role they would play in the au instead of them being just bystanders/background characters. I also intend on adding more SOI characters but I need to refresh myself on the lore

in the under cut I've assigned everyone as either a troll, akiridion, wizard, changeling or human. don't mind the extra bits, I'll explain those in another post along with some dynamics between characters

ALSO, quick note I'm gonna try to be very low-key with our resident demi-gods since the arcane order is a big spoiler in the trilogy. I'll tag posts accordingly to avoid spoilers if y'all are interested in watching the series
