Fuuuuuuuuhhhhccckkkkk I got the most jaw-dropping Lloyd's true form design in my head that would drop you on your knees in awe like you just saw a biblically accurate angel or the God himself but my drawing skills are so ass I could not convey how truly majestic and beautiful it is 😔

Drawing everyone else’s Lloyd designs because I think they're neat!
Click for better quality (Edit: could not stand how lopsided some of this looked so I fixed it up)
Into the Lloyd-verse cast:
1) Hails / @hms-siren aka Me - don’t mind my basic red Dragoni eyes and earrings, I just think they’re cool.
2) @mrsnaildood - wanted to draw Lloyd with the Blue Hair and Aro Solidarity inspired by this post bc it made me laugh (and bc I’m also Aro)
3) @marsipain - the Cyberpunk AU Lloyd that is branded into my brain right now!! He is The Silly!
4) @min-play - it’s his Movie Possession AU with clinically depressed Lloyd and a mini angry Morro cameo
5) @general-yasur - wanted to draw this one bc I love this emo king’s hair, I’m pretty sure he gave me a gender crisis
6) @twigs-sprigs - this particular dragon Lloyd design lives in my head rent free, I would die for him tbh
And some close-up shots:

Funny thing: I’m not really a big fan of fantasy fiction. I’ve always liked Leiber, and I appreciate a fair amount of Howard and Moorcock, and I was really into Tolkien for a spell, but for the majority of my life, I mostly enjoyed fantasy in the context of RPGs. I’ve read far, far more horror fiction. In recent years, I’ve been trying to read more science fiction and fantasy. I find sci-fi easier, honestly, especially since I find the modern fantasy genre’s obsession with world-building and complex magic systems tedious in the extreme. It was not always so! As Appendix N, edited by Peter Bebergal, illustrates, fantasy can be short, zippy and still work when it implies a world instead of painstakingly detailing one.
The idea here is to present a taste of the fiction from Gygax’s Appendix N in the Dungeon Masters Guide. Gygax mostly recommends novels, which is a bit of a complication for an anthology of short fiction. Gygax’s list is also not entirely sensical, too. Why on earth did he only list volume three of Swords Against Darkness? Why did he mention Lin Carter’s World’s End books and not the Thongor books, or just the third volume of Fred Saberhagen’s Empires of the East series? And no Clark Ashton Smith at all? Bebergal addresses these odd oversights with his selections — my favorite in this regard is the reprinting of Frank Brunner’s “Sword of Dragonis,” a gorgeous 1971 comic story. Gygax cops to being influenced by comics, but doesn’t get into specifics, so Bebergal shows us something from the period that could have been on Gygax’s mind.
It’s a fantastic, clarifying anthology. Perhaps less useful for finding the secret source of D&D and more for getting a full and varied look at the fantasy of that moment. It should be on your shelf, probably. And I hope we get a volume two.

— has ahyeon left babymonster?;;
Tumblr media
mainly geomancy reading
thanks to @/geomanteia (not tagging the account because i don’t quite know if letty would be fine with tagging), i found my new joy when i can do readings at night without waking someone up, lol
i could say this was requested from x, so let’s check!
Tumblr media
i would say no, so here i’ll focus on 3 things.
1) her relationship with yge: 1st house, fortuna major
her relationship with the company is actually really great. i would even say one of the greatest, which considereing what is the company and how they function, quite odd. from what i see, they benefit each other. however, the neighbour house shows losses. ahyeon’s scandal, coincidence or not, slows the girls’ debut. since i asked did she left yge and baemon, it looks like she’s “on hiatus” as babymonster member.
2) her situation according to outsiders: 3rd house, caput dragonis
it looks like according to the k-netizens and possibly the international ones, the company haven’t teached ahyeon anything on purpose to see her patience and emotional support, i.e. to test her. therefore, it can be yge’s fault for ahyeon’s scandal. i would even say they leaked these videos on purpose😐
3) how her situation affects her career: 4th house, rubeus
unfortunately her situation is badly affected for her individual relevance, so unless she personally apologises and “fix” herself (admit to her mistakes and learn her lesson), her situation won’t be brighter. the neighbour house (fifth) shows the same relationship with her fans, her audience, so therefore is really worse but can be fixed.
4) ahyeon herself: 7th house (because i am the asking this), cauda dragonis
because of the current situation with her, she doesn’t trust the company. perhaps she have learned the truth about her company’s intentions? she blames the company for her mental health, it seems to be unstable because of the drama. the situation’s secrets (6th house) are just the luck for ahyeon because of her realising her mistake. unfortunately, due to her company, there are doubts if she realised this as her mistake or not. we aren’t sure if she can apologise properly. the other one, 8th, since it’s about personal gains, it shows losses, as we’ve already seen. unless she’s “doing better” and apologise properly, which if yg doesn’t allow, they have to unless ahyeon will be in this situation for a while (i’d say дередже but since it’s dialect word? phrase? in bulgarian, situation is properly enough) in its best and baemon’s debut could be delayed indefinitely unless there are other actual issues.
conclusion (answer, laetitia): no, she’s still babymonster member. furthermore, she might have more creative freedom than the rest of the girls. the company like her so much to the extent they’re willing to make her “more free”. the hiatus seems to be ahyeon’s choice.
oracle card for clarification: successful career (i think it’s self-explaining lol)
tarot cards for clarification: 6 of pentacles, queen of wands • the hanged man
basically the bottom card confirmed the hiatus. queen of wands is ahyeon herself bc she’s leo while the 6 of pentacles can be the rest of babymonster which explains the hiatus enough imo. since the both cards are positive.. there’s no sense to say she’s leaving or something as of now.
(chart, i numbered the houses)
Tumblr media
Edit, again: about my “chart”, i added the judge, the 15. with the 1st mother, 1. Since the first mother represents me, Ahyeon personally is represented by the 3rd daughter, 7th house. I am still not sure if I made a mistake, but if I add the third daughter to the judge, it would be Acquisitio (2 dots, then 1, then 2 and in the end one). The overall answer isn’t changing in my point of view.
Edit: Yeah, I did. Since I practice geomancy with questions related to me ofc I’ll mix them up😭

Context:
Sage: Botw/Totk Link (they/she)
Hunter: TP Link (he/him for now)
Gish: og loz/aol Link (he/they)
Scholar: botw/totk Zelda (she/they)
Guardian: AoC Link (he/him)
Heir: AoC Zelda (she/her)
Hero: oot/mm Link (he/they)
Fierce Deity: Fierce Deity (it/its)
General: HW Link (he/him)
Choice 1: Sage knew Hunter in his wolf form during botw but hasn’t seen him since they defeated the calamity, they kiss their wolf buddy :(
Choice 2: I’ve talked about this before but originally when the chain first links up they don’t really trust each other but especially not Sage bc of his whole necromancer vibe, but Gish gets it.
Choice 3: just the end scene of totk but Sage loses their arm and Scholar gets to be a little dragony (it goes down a little differently)
Choice 4: you know the whole thing where the og loz link is supposedly destined to be king? Well he can do that in the future too and I want to delve into his family issues.
Choice 5: classic AoC duo meets botw/totk duo, they both see what could’ve been, what they lost and what they were able to gain, there’s drama and emotions and stuff.
Choice 6: we should normalize casual oot link and fierce deity interactions, what if they were buddies and the FD is just a little weird and not used to human things (but hero grew up with only plant kids so he doesn’t know much either)
Choice 7: Sage struggles with their amputation and with the most unreliable limb replacement they could’ve gotten, may include Captain (ww Link) bc I haven’t decided if he has a peg leg or smth yet. Probably hurt/comfort vibes.
Choice 8: Hunter has been isolating himself for somewhere close to a decade, but now he’s getting attached to the people he’s with, including one that he already kind of thought of as a son. So I guess he has to deal with that…
Choice 9: sometimes you think you’re the only weirdo out there but you aren’t. This but with dragon people, their experiences aren’t that similar but the aftermath turns out to be closer than they could’ve thought.

i don't know anything about bsd so how many genshin fankids do you have? who are they? do any of them have visions? give me the adhd brainrot i thrive on hearing about other people's ocs
EVIL CACKLING. (ask sent in reference to this post)
how many: gee i actually dont know. I have some that are still in concept phase and some that i went "hehe wouldn't it be funny if" and never went in depth about them again but thankfully the majority are named and personality'd. four ragnvindr(gunnhildr)mincis (Jean left her name out bc it would be too much of a mouthful),two crepttores, two named and three concept varkitanos, the various and numerous concepts for genetics experiment creations, a tomokazu kid, a couple kids fathered by Zhongli and promptly left with their other parent, even one named and further nebulous concepts for cynonari adoptees because let's face it Collei is not the only stray Cyno has ever dragged home. there's a fucken lot. i really need to update and fill out my google slides
out of sheer consideration for the poor suckers who follow me(i love yall), the rest'll be under a cut
who are they: we are going to be here a while even if i do stick to the names alone. the Ragnvindr-Mincis (jeanlisaluc) are Lydia, Crepus "Crepes" Jr, Frederica "Freddie"/"Fred", and Evie. Lydia looks almost exactly like her father and the rest look like their mothers. (lydia and crepes are jean's and fred and evie are lisa's twins) (technically I share custody/ownership of this family, the kaedehara kid, and kaeya's kid w zhongli with @/dusted-star) the Ragnvindrs (crepttore edition) are Clara and Florina. they're twins and both of them have similarly mixed appearances, though Clara's the only one with Zandik's shark teeth. clara's bangs are light blue and the rest of her hair is red, and Flora's hair is the reverse. both of them have red eyes. the Kaedehara is Chiisai and she also looks like a mix of her parents, but the red streak is dye. zhongli's kids are with kaeya (Zetian Alberich) and childe (Sofiya). Zetian is all but a clone of Kaeya. Sonya is much more dragony, but dragon cant outweigh ginger. the varkitanos are Nadezhda and Pavel they look very much like cap(black hair dark eyes light skin) but the triplets in production are gonna look a lot more like varka(brown, brown, tan). the only named cynonari adoptee is Zayneb and she's brown with black hair and brown eyes (i gotta Do Something w her and the nebulous pile of concepts for adoptive siblings theres too much potential to go untapped). there are many too many experiment concepts to talk about and there isnt currently much to say either. i seem to be filling dottore's laboratory with genetics experiments. i almost forgot pantalone's ex street kids that im working on! saw a kid getting whooped for trying to survive had a flashback to himself being in that exact situation went "NOPE" and adopted the entire passel in five seconds flat.
any visions: i had not thought about it before i will tell you that. i know neither clara nor flora have one. i also know that vision holders usually have some kind of trauma and i tend to make fankid verses for eventual happiness for all parties involved so that kinda. crosses each other out ? idk! i might play around with researching the vision types and the shared traits between each element and all that but honestly it hasnt been a priority what with the. yknow. the trauma.

I have been thinking about the Slayerdramon idea more. And yes I know this is literally the umpteenth time I’ve messed with Flynn’s Veemon’s evolution line😅.
Tumblr media
I’m literally slapping myself for not realizing just how fitting this dude is(also I don’t use Slayerdramon as much as Alphamon). Like western knight dragon with a sword?! Also the gold parts could be a callback to Magnamon. Huanglongmon fulfills my desire for a more dragony dragon final form or who knows maybe I’ll just pull a burst mode out of thin air?

Plamo: Pokémon Select 052: Gyarados
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In all his raging glory, a Gyarados! This was actually a pretty simple build, but like most pokemon sets, it had some annoying stickers. luckily not as many as the worst offenders. The dark red of his inner mouth and the pink of his tongue are both different stickers. I guess they really didn't wanna have a super tiny red and pink subrunner on this build? Don't ask me why how plamo engineering works (but if you know i'd actually love for you to infodump at me!) The eyes are also stickers but i rarely consider that offensive in most builds. Even gundam does it and for the most part i accept the stickers they give us for eyes. Very rarely do i do my own eyes (there will be some exceptions, posted later!)
Tumblr media
Don't talk to me or my son ever again!
I did this back in October, holy fuck. There's actually not a single thing i could reasonable panel line on this model, so ti's presented as is. Ideally, i think you could erase the seam line running down the entire length of the model, using sprue glue and whatnot. But that would be a lot of effort and would probably look messy and maybe require a paint job to touch up, at which point it becomes too much work. Luckily it's mostly front-facing in its poses so you can't really see it, so it's all good. Also, it sits really firmly in place on its base, so display is easy!
Tumblr media
It's got some decent twisty posability but it's not too much, bend it too much one way and it falls over. Still a decent model kit of a long dragony boy! Stats for nerds:
Tumblr media
its waste is about equal to its weight. Not the worst offender. EDIT: I found something to panel line! His lil nostrils:

I'm starting to not like "demidragon" and just. I'd like to have some words I could use to describe what kind of monster I am.
"Draconic monster" is like the absolute default.
Wondering if something like "dragoblin monster" would work? Idk I'm like a gobliny gremliny dragony .... scaly dogcat lol
edit: if "snowdrake" can be a description of a monster then so can "dragoblin" (even if that came up as a name)

DRAGONY RISING: ‘WOW! Great story! So much going on and it all ties up.’
DRAGONY RISING: ‘WOW! Great story! So much going on and it all ties up.’
It’s been an exciting few days as I comb through the manuscript of DRAGONY RISING, the next Frank Nagler Mystery. I got the edits back from my publisher, Imzadi Publishing, after our copy editor Katherine Tate completed her work. Kate brings to her work the sharp eye of an editor and the voice of an accomplished author. Frank is in good hands. The title of this piece is the comment she left at…

Jules., 16!
this...got long
16. “Their dreams”
At age six, Jules dreams of being a scientist, though perhaps her understanding of the profession is a little loose. Junk becomes laser rifles as she galavants through the streets of Nipton, protecting her mother from hordes of imaginary killer robots, rocks for plasma grenades flying at bad guys who look suspiciously like the mayor. Eliza dutifully plays along, the damsel in distress for her daughter's heroics, and when they're at home she tries to teach her /actual/ science, as much as she knows anyway. Jules squeals with delight at the bubbles of baking soda and vinegar and devours their homemade rock candy; dragging her feet on the rug to build up enough static electricity to shock boys at school  becomes her new favorite hobby, but when she sleeps she still uses Science (!) to defeat aliens and monsters, just like she hears on the radio shows.
At 14 she dreams that telling her first crush how she felt had gone better-- or any differently at all, instead of the WHOLE SCHOOL laughing at her. She fakes being sick for three days so she won't have to go back, tries in vain to talk her mother into moving away so she won't have to endure the MORTIFICATION she'll surely face. Eliza brings her soup and lets her stay home for the rest of the week, but come Monday morning she's prodding Jules out of bed, bribing her with pancakes and words of encouragement. They'll forget about it as soon as the next big thing comes along, she says, and being rejected by a crush is far from the worst thing that could happen to a teenager.  She has the rest of her life ahead of her; she'll find someone, but for now she's only 14-- romance should be the least of her worries. It might feel like the end of the world, but Eliza assures her, it is not. The others still snicker behind Jules' back, though, and when one dares to mock her to her face she throws him to the ground with a lightning-fast right hook, challenging anyone else to do the same and receive the same punishment.
At 19 Eliza is gone. When Jules finally passes out after inhaling so much jet, she's there in her dreams, lingering and dying again before Jules can say anything, tell her how sorry she is for not being a better daughter, for not trying harder to make her proud, god she's so sorry...Eliza never speaks either, only stands and watches, judging as her daughter turns to chems to cope with her loss-- judgment only worsening when Jules resorts to the most desperate of measures to feed her addiction.
Nineteen also sees her first recurring nightmare, reliving her near-evisceration at the hands of an enraged client even as she lies recovering from it, the knife slicing her open over and over, leaving her struggling for air until she gasps herself awake, still clutching the line of stitches holding her together. She spends her nights on her back and her days barely conscious, constantly dreaming in a jet-induced haze of the day she'd get out and leave Nipton behind for good.
Hands plague the dreams of her early 20s-- some with knives, most without, touching and groping and grabbing, belonging to mayors and soldiers and anonymous traders whose faces she couldn't remember even if she hadn't been high at the time. Cured of her drug addiction and living on her own in Primm, in an honest job for the Mojave Express, Jules still can't rid herself of them or her mother's disappointed gaze, but she does find they're less vivid when she drinks-- so she drinks.
Her dreams stop entirely when she's shot in the head and buried in a shallow grave.
Until she finds the Legion, that is, and she's remembered what she's done and what she's been through and is desperate for a way to redeem herself, worthless though she is. Childhood dreams of Science (!) and heroism shoved aside, Jules swears absolute loyalty to Caesar, first to avenge the wrong done to her by California's neglect, then to make her new surrogate father figure proud. At night instead of her mother she dreams of Caesar now, standing at his side looking down at the Colorado River at Hoover Dam as the Bull flies triumphant overhead. He tells her what a good job she did, how vital she was to the Legion's victory, how proud he is to have her in his army and of all they'll accomplish now.
That shatters when Vulpes crucifies her at 23 after a humiliating parade through Freeside, all her sins laid bare for the world to condemn. She prays she'll come to and that it's all been a horrible, horrible drug trip, but it's a waking nightmare that culminates in her execution. In hoc signo, taurus vinces. It rings through her memory even after she's rescued and through. what dreams she has when she manages to sleep.
At 26 it's over. The Legion is dead and Caesar with it, in reality if not in Jules' dreams. She's reminded nightly of Caesar's death at her hands and every time she wakes up she expects to find them stained with his blood. She's an engineer now, putting her love for Science (!) towards rebuilding New Vegas, helping people, doing something definitively good for once in her life. Science is concrete. Black and white. There's a right and a wrong answer and it's obvious immediately if she does something the wrong way. No ambiguity, not even for someone who's been shot in the head. The recurring nightmares of stabbing, whoring, crucifixion, humiliation dim, replaced by fonder memories the more comfortable she gets in Vegas, memories of warm nights spent stargazing with her mother, chilly ones under a blanket on their couch listening to their favorite radio dramas, beach trips during the summer. Her new friends feature in them, too, Miri usually leading Jules and Lexington on some kind of bizarre adventure that ends with all three of them hailed as heroes.
But soon, insidious, a new nightmare rears its head-- Jules is back in the Divide, with the launch timer ticking down until the nukes fire at California. Ulysses' disembodied voice booming around her, saying she has a second chance, she can stop the missiles this time, save countless lives. But looking at the control panel is like trying to read a foreign alphabet-- all the circuits and wiring are strange to her, incomprehensible, and before she can beg for help it's too late. Outside she finds herself on the irradiated Long 15, her Geiger counter screaming, drawing a mob of NCR ghouls that swarm her just before she jolts awake.
Jules gets a brief respite when Lexington poaches her to be New Zion's chief civil engineer, but it doesn't last long as all her old nightmares resurface in full force, dragging her back down into the depths with her constant guilt and forcing her back into the arms of her old coping mechanisms of chems, booze and strangers in bars. No dreams would be better than what she's been given. Oblivion would be preferable to this onslaught of shame she's suffering.
When Jules hits the bottom of her spiral and Lexington intervenes herself and vicariously through her husband, the Burned Man himself, the dreams stop again. Daily talks-- half the time arguments, half the time confession-- with Graham drive her to exhaustion, too tired at night to do much more than pass out at home. Her nights are quiet, for the first time in years.
At 40, Jules drifts off beside her husband on their couch, their four-year-old daughter snuggled between them, and finds herself dreaming of her mother again, but...Eliza's not disappointed anymore. Not upset, not judging,  just sitting on the roof of their Nipton house next to Jules, smiling gently at her. She leans forward to kiss her daughter's forehead and whispers, softly, "I'm so proud of you, Julia."
