Another little sorta collab with @donttouchmeillkillyou! They did the sketch, I did lineart and coloring.
We came up with a headcannon that since Colin tends to take care of sick/injured in his little lab thing that Seth gives him tips/advice/etc on how to treat different things!
Hi! Welcome to the blog! Let’s get to know these awesome objects and some blog rules, shall we?
RULES
•No cursing please, I prefer to keep this a clean area :)
•Absolutely no NSFW. This is not the place for that.
•Be respectful and just have overall common sense when interacting.
•Magic anons are allowed, but please keep them within reason.
•Please no roleplay! This is a character arc/ask blog- interactions from a user’s character(s) are welcome, but please don’t get carried away.
•Have fun!! That’s what we all want ^^
MEET THE CHARACTERS
Callie T. Clarinet (she/it)
Callie is a happy-go-lucky, music-loving gal. Her lesson was, well, of course, all about music. She’s very sweet, but can be stubborn on occasion. Her human form is that of a short young lady, about 5’ with fairly long blonde hair, amber eyes, and a sweet smile. She wears a black and silver suit-like outfit and will usually be seen wearing headphones, as she always likes some music in the background. If not headphones, she has a variety of musical earrings she likes to wear.
Dr. Seth Stethoscope (he/it)
Seth is quite the fellow! He is a doctor, but he doesn’t like formalities and prefers just to be called by his name (no dr, mr, sir, etc). His lesson covered medical equipment and how it worked. He’s a sweet guy, always looking out for his friends and of course his patients. He can be easily intimidated, but he always tries to hold his ground. Did I mention he’s a bit jumpy? His human form is that of a tall young man, about 6’2, with very shaggy brown hair, bright, sky-blue eyes, and freckles here and there. His left hand is a prosthetic to represent his lack of "normal" hand in his object form. Don’t worry, nothing happened to it, he was just created born without it. He’s usually seen wearing his lab coat and medical cap as he’s nearly always working, but when not working or just lounging at home, he can be seen in just a casual t-shirt and shorts.
My main is @radioproto, so feel free to head on over there and check out more of my usual content. That’s all, folks!
Beds - A number of adjustable, moderately comfortable hospital beds with removable lap trays. Each bed/patient area is separated from the others by gauzy curtains and has a window looking out at a white void.
Nurse’s Station - A stand where nurses prepare medications for their patients (or sometimes just hang out).
Offices - A few small but nice offices with predictable doctor decor. The doctors can usually be found here when not making their rounds.
Cafeteria - A cafeteria with different lines for soup and salads, sandwiches, and the hot meal of the day.
Denizens
Doctors (Background/Speaking) - Dr. Seth, a stethoscope; Dr. Siggy, a blood pressure cuff; and Dr. Ivy, an IV stand, make the rounds fairly regularly. Clearly no HIPPA laws apply in this place, but they’re all reasonably professional.
Nurses (Background/Speaking) - Sets of scrubs that seem to be worn by invisible people... but upon examination there’s actually nothing inside. You’re not sure how they can still perform their jobs, but they do.
Patients (Background?/Non-speaking?) - There are a few other patients besides the Passengers, including a small comatose snake statue and a shattered slipper.
Special Notes
Upon entering the car, any Passengers who do not have significant injuries become ill. This is a generic flu-like illness but can have a few other symptoms if they’d be particularly uncomfortable for your character.
Uncooperative, destructive, or cruel behavior causes all patients’ conditions to worsen. Considering the cast involved, assume this occurs in the smallest noticeable increments possible.
Can we get some dr Implier taking care of baby Schneep for the baby skeptics thing
“Say, ‘ah’.”
“No!” Henrik protested and crawled along the exam table, running out of energy quickly and plopping down into a pout.
“You need to take your medicine.” Dr. Iplier said, rolling his chair over a little so he was in front of the young Henrik again. Henrik slapped his hands over his mouth and hid his face into the table. “I can see your stubbornness has been a part of you your whole life.” Dr. Iplier sighed before standing up. He used a hand to roll Henrik over to his back and he kept it on Henrik’s stomach for a moment before he started to scratch it. Henrik began to giggle, wiggling as the tickling continued. He eventually moved his hands from his face to weakly slap at Dr. Iplier’s hand and wasn’t able to stop the spoon from going into his mouth. “It’s a good thing I know that you’re ticklish.” Dr. Iplier chuckled as Henrik swallowed to liquid and grimace.
“Taste like ‘bleh’.” Hernik stuck his tongue out.
“I know, I know, but it’ll make you feel better.” Dr. Iplier placed the spoon in the sink before going back over to Henrik, seeing that he was playing with his stethoscope.
“Seth!” Henrik announced, holding up the medical instrument.
“Stethoscope.” Dr. Iplier corrected, sitting back down in his chair. He watched as Henrik placed the earbuds into his ears and then pressed the chest piece against Dr. Iplier’s chest.
“Bump, bump.” Henrik stated, lightly hitting his own chest with a fist.
“You’re going to make a great doctor, Henrik.” Dr. Iplier said with a smile.
“Make better!” Henrik nodded his head and giggled a little before yawning.
“Looks like the medicine’s already kicking in. Time for a nap.” Dr. Iplier stood up and scooped Henrik up.
“No..sleepy.” Henrik murmured, curling up against Dr. Iplier as he was carried out of the room.
“You’re definitely my Henny.” Dr. Iplier chuckled.
@ask-manny-and-doi I decided to draw Seth’s reaction after Melody was deleted. He didn’t take it very well since they were close. He would barely talk to anyone for days…
I’ve wanted an interaction with these two for a while but I couldn’t think of anything so this is what I came up with. Thought it would be a little silly for Seth to listen to a clock ticking instead of a real heartbeat X3
(Also, here’s an example of Seth being able to detect a heartbeat with just his "hand.")
