ÒwÓ I have been brainstorming ideas for how Amarys finds out that Drayton Is Not Human and have finally come up with something Drayton….cannot swim very well….alabaster icelands’s only water is near the Pearl settlement and lake acuity so he never really went that close to the water, even when he transforms into a water type his swimming isn’t that great so he avoids large bodies of water if he can!

So one day he and Amarys are hanging out in the polar biome and he ends up slipping and falling into one of the bodies of ice cold water and Amarys calls out her empoleon to get Drayton out of the water but instead of a human, empoleon pulls out this tiny white zorua and Amarys is a smart girl so she easily puts the pieces together and figures out that this zorua is Drayton

Drayton is more panicked about falling into the water then Amarys finding out (bc at this point both Crispin and Lacey know he’s Not Human) he’s fur can usually keep him warm but he’s wet now and cold and he’s just not having a good time, Amarys takes him from her empoleon to head back inside the school keeping him hidden best to her abilities as she guesses he’s not exactly open about what he is, until they reach Drayton’s dorm where he can warm up there (and probably call crispin to help warm Drayton up as he’s a poor shivering wet furball) 💛

She's really just there carrying him under his arms, his lil legs dangling as she's trying hard not to laugh at the way he looks that he starts legit barking at her, and she and her Empoleon finally went off to head to his dorm room, noting how he's in fact a Zorua and not human. But y'know, she's also really interested cause like, ofc she probs know a lot abt the rumours regarding Zoroark and Zorua, it fascinates her how they can become human, talk and look like one too, I'm sure after she calls Crispin and Lacey and has Drayton all warmed up now she's like, pulling out her notes and asking him shit lmfao

#which now makes me wonder tho if zorua and zoroark in general can like.. have their own voices too #cause in bw2 we encounter this one zoroark that can speak right #but makes me wonder if the voice they have is a mimic of someone else's voice #or if they actually have their own 'human' voices and its part of their ability to disguise themselves as such #and idk its fun to think that drayton's voice is actually either drayden's voice or his dad's voice when they were younger #them letting drayton watch some old videos abt the fam bc hes curious too #and he loved the way they looked and sound that its what he mimicked #down to the looks and to the voices #hisuian zorua drayton au #drayton angst anon #ducydoo2000

everyone’s least fav boothill thinker (me) has a work in their notes app but chooses to dump some thoughts here too

so boothill doesn’t need sleep, at least i don’t think he does. with state of the art technology, a few upgrades once in a while, and sheer willpower, he can be ‘awake’ for longer periods of time. so after a long day of fighting some ‘ipc cuties’ as he’d call them, he comes back to you exhausted.

he forgets that he’s made out of metal in this tired state and leans into you, giving you a lazy back hug. it doesn’t charge him up but it sure does charge up his mental battery. he’s heavy but slowly, you were able to drag him to his power station. it’s right next to the bed so it gives him a moment to cuddle you as his body charges up.

Concept: While Quiet remains stagnant across the chapters, Hero (the voice) always changes slightly to match the princess they're facing. Not necessarily the voice we get in the chapter, specifically the princess.

He gets more draconic in Adversary's chapter, more 'princely' in Damsel's chapter, more ghostly in Spectre's, and etc etc. Kinda as a way to show visually how malluable his character is, and to parallel the princess/Shifty herself, since I headcanon him as being the closest to Shifting Mound's nature.
